You do the work.
If you don't know how to do the work, you find books that teach you how. Books. Written by real authors, real editors, real agents. Real professionals.
Not blogs by people who self-publish. Or who've "read a lot of stuff."
You go on hiatus from social media, go to the library, read, read, write, write, write, revise, revise, revise.
You make writing your priority. You don't spend time with people talking about writing and about how you're going to become a professional. You actively do the necessary work.
You can lounge online and meme and post about writing all you want.
But to be a traditionally published author you earn the part.
And you don't earn it by hanging out here.

Just read chapter 8 and kept saying “we are so back” the whole time they were hooking up and my delusional ass thought we were getting a conclusion and a happy ending in this chapter and forgot that his ass has to work 😭 but you’re a wonderful writer who has a well-structured story to tell and I know this whole journey is gonna be worth it. Gonna reread the beginning of their relationship again to remind me of the happy times ❤️ thank you for the update! every chapter just gets more and more exciting

Bye for now!
Hello everyone! I have not used the blog for weeks now. I decided to put Hiatus on and enjoy my pregnancy and future motherhood to the full.
I also decided to leave the blog with my historical cas cc to help people who want to undertake the decades challenge.
As for my stories, they will be completely removed from my blog. I hate leaving things half done and seeing my stories incomplete really annoys me (it's stronger than me sorry).
That's all for now!

okay guys, i have been dead for a while, but I wanted to come on here and let you know that lol
I am on hiatus from fanfic rn. I'll put it in my pinned post and all that, but yeah.
I just don't have the motivation anymore. Fanfic was a comfort thing for me, and still kind of is? but I just don't feel like writing it right now. The last time you guys saw a proper fic from me was probably in the summer, I think.
It's not that I hate doing it, it's just that now when I'm in uni, I have so much stuff to do that I am currently loving more! I'm writing a book, trying to get published, trying to get my degree, it's a lot.
For those who submitted matchups, they'll be done one day lmao. I just haven't found myself on Tumblr as much these days.
I do want you all to know that I will be back to write the rare fic - maybe.
I really love all of my followers and can't believe I'm almost at 2,000, but those who followed me for my constant posting, just know it's not as available lol. I feel like my fanfic writing was getting repetitive and it just wasn't my cup of tea while I was also writing a book.
I love you all so so so so much, and just wanted to let you know that.

This account is on hiatus...
For my mental health, I'm taking a step back from fandom beginning Feburary 20, 2023. I've been considering this for a while, and while I don't expect this to be permanent, I do expect it to last for a while.
Details below the cut, if you're interested.
It's been coming for a while, and I've really been putting it off, but I do feel like I need to take step back. I've been putting a lot of pressure on myself. I want to get back to writing because it's fun, not because I have an arbitrary deadline or because I'm worried about disappointing someone.
What this means:
I'm going to be staying off of Tumblr and away from posting on AO3. If you know me on Discord, you may see me there, but I intend to severly restrict my usage there as well.
I do have a few fics in fests and other prescheduled things, so there will be a few things post to AO3 from me. I also plan to spend the next day or so uploading a few things that are already ready, but then I'll be logging out and uninstalling apps.
I also will still have my email connected, so I'll see asks, replies, comments and kudos from my email, but I'm not planning to respond to anything until I get back. This also means
All of my fics are on hiatus.
I know that will be disappointing to some of you who are patiently waiting for updates, but it's this kind of pressure (largely internal) that has pushed me to take this break. I'm not promissing that I'll come back with lots of updates (though part of me wishes I could) because I need to have the freedom to create... or not.
Thank you all for following me and showing love to my works.
I really, truly, appreciate all of your kind words and support. I know I could be better at communicating it, but it means so much to hear from all of you.

At my home, we had a problem with off Wi-Fi internet and i had lost connection, but I'm not sure when it will work back. But sooner or later, they could work... Just a couple of days or weeks to fix this issue and i would be active anytime.

hi all. I'm sorry I put loop on hiatus. Life is wayyyyy busier right now than what I'm used to and I'm trying to get adjusted to that. I am working on chapter 3 and will put it out when it's finished. Updates will be so sluggish on this. I just didn't want to keep everyone waiting for an update and put the hiatus tag so that I knew I could return to it when I had more time and readers would also realize that there will not be frequent updates.
I'm sorry if I gave anyone a heart attack by doing that but rest assured that I will finish it.

It is once again, time for a mental health break! Lol.
Going to step away, work on my writing, catch up on my reading, and remind myself that this is a hobby. In the end I’m writing for me.
We all love to say numbers don’t matter, and for the most part they don’t—I’m writing the stories I want to write, because I want to write them, but the validation is such a motivator.
