I cannot believe that Sugar Sugar will be turning three years old in March. I reread the entire thing yesterday and this story will honestly be a keanureevesisbae specialty.
It's amazing to see how I have grown as a writer, but also how this story taught me so much about writer, story building and just writing soft and fluffy smut (because let's be real: these two were filthy once they admitted their feelings for each other hahaha)

We are always making Wars suffer in this house, man 😔
So fluffy headcannons time ✨
Wars was gifted an orange sapling by Impa even she found out he liked them the most, and he takes pride in having nurtured it to be able to have fruit. He likes to give his friends oranges if he has to many to store/preserve, and sometimes even makes baked goods from them as well.
Wars made a sort of birdhouse for the fairies he rescued during his adventure. He made sure that there was a wardrobe for their clothes and plenty of food while he's away. He has Linkle check up on them during his journey with the chain.
Is trans! Both he and Zelda are, and upon realizing as such, they just swapped lives and called it a day. It was an awkward conversation having to explain to the others why he had the triforce of wisdom instead of courage and can harness holy light. He likes to joke that the fates got confused and mixed them up by accident.
Doesn't know if he wants kids or not. Mask, Town and Tetra were all hellions and gave him more migranes than he can count, but those softer and more wholesome moments he spent with them also makes him want a kiddo of his own. Might just become the cool wine uncle who sees his neices and nephews as his own kids.
Animals love him. Every single one, even usually hostile ones. Wild nearly had a stroke upon witnessing a Lynel acting like a full blown house cat demanding pets from him. This also means cuccos love him to death, even though he is scared by them.
Ginger, bleaches his hair to hide it. Likes scaring kids by saying if they look him in the eyes he'll take their soul. Mask, upon being told this, said he didn't have one. This was the start of Wars' concern of the child.
Has a huge sweet tooth. Like, it puts even the fairies to shame. It is a miracle his teeth haven't rotted out his head, and that might be from divine intervention.
Cat mom, and he babies them. They are spoiled and chonky and love being cuddled and held like babies.
The scarf wasn't apart of the uniform he was meant to wear. In all honesty, nobody knows how or when Zelda got the scarf, or how it became a part of his attire. It's just apart of him now.
Speaking of the scarf. It's huge. Like it straight up could be a blanket if he unfolded it and laid it felt on the ground. It's his security blanky.

- He is SUCH a friend of the fairies, they all love him to death and I’ll fucking die on this hill. They absolutely adore him
- TRANS WARS REAL. Link in general is just such a transgender icon and I love him for it
- I headcanon him as ace so I don’t think he’d ever have his own biological kids, but look me in my eyes right now and tell me he wouldn’t take a kid in who needed it. Also he’s such a girl dad, yknow? (I am so obsessed with the idea of him being a girl dad I’m writing a fic about it-)
- I have this vision in my head now of the cucco’s lookin at him like “OMG it’s Link 🙌!” and they love him so much and he runs away screaming in fear. It’s such a clear vision too 😭
- I LIKE THAT SO MANY PEOPLE ALSO THINK HE DYES HIS HAIR. Like we may have different headcanons on his natural hair color (for me I think it’s a dark brown) BUT SO MANY PEOPLE HEADCANON HES A FAKE BLOND AND IM OBSESSED.
- Oh he is SUCH a sweet treat kinda guy, I headcanon he has blood sugar issues, so small little snacks with a lot of sugar in them would be so good for him actually if his blood sugar dropped suddenly
- CAT MOM REAL. I think he’d have two of those hairless cats and he’d make sweaters for them. He treats them like his children, and he cried when Legend called them ugly (the cats are hideous but like in a cute way)
- Oh that scarf is fr gigantic and definitely bug enough to be a blanket. That’s his emotional support blanket and he takes extremely good care of it

Welcome back, beloved readers! Things have finally calmed down for me so it’s time to inflict this update on the world. When we last left off, BATSHIT FELINA SMASHED VICTORIA’S URN

Because it turned out there’s a cheat to repair urns, HA. In your face!
-I BROKE THAT THING FAIR AND SQUARE
Felina seriously, GO TO HELL. I freaked out thinking I’d have to either quit without saving (hadn’t saved since before SUGAR DIED) or I’d have to deal with Victoria’s missing character file. You’re not allowed anywhere near the mausoleum again!
-THAT’S FINE, I’LL JUST TRAP MYSELF IN THIS WALL UNTIL I DIE AND THEN YOU’LL BE SORRY
Bruh. I’ve had enough of this house, between the walls of death..
..the eternal yard fire..
..and the fact everyone is afflicted with a gross cold they keep passing around despite the fact I gave them medicine-
-I, a retired Mayor, was clearly the right choice to make medicine.
Well I thought you might do something useful for once, Shajar, but joke’s on me. Point is, it’s time to gtfo..
..to our new gigantic house! Look at all our crap on the lawn, and yes, I’m referring to the sims.
I unpaused for 1 second to check something and Barf and Failina (Barflina?) have re-become enemies?? Did you stop being enemies at some point because I completely missed it.
-We did but new house, new us!
It’s done! I went all out on this house for no discernible reason, let me give you the grand tour:
First floor! Man this house is a nightmare.
Foyer!
Luxurious pet room!
Kitchen!
Dining room!
Gambling room Library!
And living room!
Moving on to the second floor, Cyn and Sophie/Shajar’s bedrooms I kept the basically same as in the last house. The unfinished bedroom is Sugar and Sandy’s for reasons that will be explained shortly.
I really feel I made this house too nice for the Unions but what can you do.

And Liz and Sophito’s bedroom which is clearly all Liz.
Finally, on the little rooms on the third floor are the music room that @microscotch decorated❤️, and a lame room where we keep all our career rewards!
The mausoleum, which is unchanged other than I moved the pet graves in it and put them under each generation..
..and this is the yard! I kept it pretty much the same except larger-
-and I added a lake! We’re all done, time to unpause and enjoy long, safe lives in our new house..

BRO. When I tell you guys the entire family almost perished in a FOUNTAIN FIRE. Incredibly fitting cause of death. Thankfully the firefighter heroically saved us and all is well! Now I can’t wait to play a billion sims and pets on this gigantic cc-filled lot with no further problems whatsoever!

hey can i get those five species of cockroaches listed. i was gonna leave it at that but it seems you are a cockroach main so a top 5 list might be more interesting if possible
Omg thanks for asking me about roaches 🥺 and sorry for taking that long to answer your ask but I just couldn't throw a list without at least giving some information about those wonderful little creatures that are cockroaches! I absolutely love roaches, they are so smart, so interesting, so adorable (their eyes shaped like beans!!!).
5- American Cockroach (Periplaneta americana)
Of course, our iconic roach, maybe the first one that come into your mind when someone says "cockroach", is on the list.
American Cockroaches have one of the greatest capacity of adaptability in the entire animal kingdom (even if we wrongly think they can survive a nuclear explosion). For example, cockroaches loves sugar! But noticing that a lot of traps against them are made with sugar, they are changing their diet to eat less to not at all sweet food, to the point females will refuse to mate with a male who is often eating sugar. This is not specific to this species but I still wanted to tell (because that's pretty interesting).
Another amazing thing I wanted to talk about is how cockroaches manage to defend themselves against predators like the emerald wasps. They turn around and hit it with their rear paws, just like on the video ↓

4/ ember wood cockroach (Ectobius vittiventris)
This one is in my top 5 for emotional reasons 🥺. There are plenty of them in my garden so I can observe them and interact better with them than any other species of cockroaches. I played with one of them once.
Have you ever see a cockroach pooping? Because I do. One of this bad boi pooped on me once. I had a wood roach resting on my arm when suddenly it started walking around. When it stoped it bended its body and I was like "woah! Cockroaches can sit!?" Until I noticed a black dot....
3/ question mark cockroach (Therea Olegrandjeani)
Ok I'll be honest with you. I don't really have anything to say about them other than are very pretty...
But did you know the dots on its back only appear after the last moult? The juveniles are all dark brown before becoming adults.

2/ Madagascar hissing cockroach (Gromphadorhina portentosa)
They are call like that because of the hissing sound they make to frighten predators since they are a wingless species.
The females of this species carry their ootheca (sort of bag with eggs in it some female cockroaches and mantis carry at the end of their abdomen) internally, making the eggs hatching inside the mother (this is called ovoviviparity). The nymphs stay close to their parents for protection and to be fed.
1/ Emerald Cockroach (Corydidarum magnifica)
Of course, the emerald cockroach would be the first on list! Look at them, they are beautiful! You can easily recognise the male from the female since he is the one who got wings. One thing I love about cockroaches is when the males and females look drastically different from each other.
Just like the hissing roach, this species too have its nymphs formed inside the mother for 4 to 6 months. Once born, they will hide under their mother to be fed and protected. Then, the nymphs will explore their environment while staying close to their parents, most of the time they will hide under the mother but it's not rare to see them hiding under males.

i finally have these 2 icons in me sim bin omg
i tried to keep nina’s look as similar to her TS2 appearance as possible even though i am itching to change it. the black crop top and pink jeans/cargos... the bright berry lip with the smoky eye in the daytime... I’M SORRY I JUST DON’T GET IT! i threw on some coral blush to complete her look. why not. it’s just so much all at once. it reminds me of the 2000s before social media was big, and most people just did whatever they wanted with their makeup and outfits. it’s the complete opposite of the current clean girl/soft glam/natural, minimalist, highly curated and perfected look. nina cakes it on and she looks damn good.
she’s like if a 2000s barbie raided a bratz doll’s closet. i’ve decided that’s the direction i’m taking her in.
so actually this look is very fitting for nina the character. i can see her putting this on at her vanity in the morning, clothes strewn all over her bed, music blasting. i feel like she just doesn’t give a fuck. she looks in the mirror and she knows she’s hot, end of story. i can respect that.
you know what nina, i retract my judgment. i didn’t see the vision but now i do.
more ramble abt them below
i feel like dina very much aspires to the stereotypical sugar baby/gold digger lifestyle while nina just wants to live each day to the fullest, have fun, and is less concerned with snagging herself a rich man. she’s the more obvious wild child of the two (dina is just sneakier about her activities). i feel like nina would go for more sportswear and streetwear type clothes while dina goes for the y2k, 2010s glamorous it-girl look.
dina actually seems more mature and more of an older sister to me than nina. i feel like nina’s personality is more straightforward/direct, impulsive, and emotionally driven, while dina is more two-faced, strategic, and more of a subtly manipulative game-player which you’d have to be if you were to be a successful gold-digger. she thinks ahead and considers different outcomes, making her the more “responsible” decision maker of the duo. at the end of the day, they are both women who put themselves first and go after what they want, they just achieve their goals in different ways.
it’s interesting that the sims wiki states that nina’s official description is the “brains of the operation” and wants to study medicine when none of her traits in TS3 and TS4 really reflect those qualities. if anything i think dina would be the more successful one in the medicine field because she’s ambitious, charismatic, and you already know she’d network the hell out of a room. nina seems like she’d be more of a yolo, fly-by-the-seat-of-her-pants type of person in school/work/life in general.

I WANT TO DO THE REVIEWS THINGY TOO.
1. MOONLIGHT CHICKEN:
personally i think everyone should give it a watch because it is worth it. would i rewatch it? probably not the whole thing is very heavy for me but i would watch limingheart scenes ,THEY WERE IT. the acting omg, it's so fucking hard to believe that it was their first gig. they showed us their problems individually, like they were their own characters with their own struggles but they also were there for eo. communication was on point. liming had problems, real problems with college and money. he wasn't afraid to stand up for himself the kid's a fucking icon. and he is baby i will protect him forever.
2. NEVER LET ME GO:
the plot could be better, the acting was good but could be more natural, the chemistry BHAI. have i watched it 9 times? yes. the thing that stood out the most was their relationship they met eo and palm was ready to die for him (yes i know it was his job whatever) ??? palm is so in love with neung it's disgusting but so is neung. he hides it with quips and scolding. i read somewhere and they explained that the water shows how free they are on the beach. they can be themselves and no one would judge them. they could forget their status, family expectations and all. they're my beach boyfriends and i love them.
3.BAD BUDDY:
family hates eo so they hate eo? yes. childhood rivalry? yes. enemies to friends to lovers? yes. chemistry? yes. acting natural? yes. pran liked pat bohot pahle se and they showed ki he was reluctant to be with pat. nanon ate this role and left no crumbs. there are so many things i could write but i feel lazy so go and watch it if you haven't (shame on you). they're my slut bfs.
4. MY SCHOOL PRESIDENT:
its actually a close first but idk why it's on fourth (i forgot about it). this show is so fucking wholesome that i cried (yes my friend has proof i hate her) tinn is so green flag babygirl bf. and gun is so dumbass oblivious but not babygirl bf. confessing to my crush? no become the school president and be rivals with him so he will like me. the dance scene has my whole fucking heart and i love it. idek what to say they're idiots and i love them. gun is such a complex character in my opinion. he has layers like we see that he is not very good in school but he has his musical talents and leadership qualities to make up for it. my man is actually very observant and he has the kindest heart. he deserves everything nice and so does tinn. he really was fighting for his life to get gun to like him. i would have given up in two months but that wasn't all. tinn was a really smart character and he knew how to comfort people. ahh i love him but i can't find words. geminifourth played the hell out of this. everyone should give it a watch the storyline is cliche but refreshing too and who doesn't love high school lovers.
5. NOT ME/ BE MY FAVOURITE:
a) not me: the whole premise of the show is genius and important for thai people but like also everywhere. they danced under a fucking lgbt flag and helds hand. i deserve that. the scene makes me cry everytime. sean knowing that it was black not white was nice i am thankful they didn't make him dumb. the show is politically woke so points. i don't really know the political status of thailand so don't come after me. seanwhite are my be gay and fight the government bfs.
b) be my favourite: honestly i wasn't expecting anything from this show but it surprised me. fighting for queer rights? pisaeng coming to terms with his sexuality without his love interest? kawi realising that he can't change some things and he has to accept it? him noticing that he was slowing becoming an alcoholic? max as a tired gay bestie? pisaeng loving every moment of him being a sugar daddy to kawi? kawi making him understand that they have to equals in a relationship? pisaeng being a clingy bf? everything is fucking perfect. and the time travelling part is well done too tho it makes no sense but yeah. also them actually giving pear a personality and storyline? thank you.

so that novel is called "Dents de soie" by Maelle Desard. It is the unlikely alliance between a tooth fairy (who wants to become a fairy godmother) and a toothless vampire, with a bunch of plot twists and events. It is a fantasy romance book, so ofc there is romance. The wannabe fairy godmother takes under her wing a "potential princess" (aka mister toothless vampire). Things of note: more powerful the fairy, fatter she is, and the heroin is the fattest of them all. There is a very open conversation about whether the wannabe godmother needs to find her vampire a wife or a husband (asking of his preferences and such). I loved it. It's entertaining, fun, and full of sugar, spice, and everything nice.
