Silver attempts to peek with morbid interest underneath the brightly colored bandage applied to his skinned knee, only for his father to gently flick his forehead with a sharp nail, a warning that's all bark and no bite.

"Let it be, child, it won't heal if you keep poking at it— run along and fetch us a snack, yes?"

With a chirpy "Of course, Papa," he scampers off from the shade towards the sprawling patch of garden behind their tiny home. The scrapes on his hands are already the pink of new skin, matching the gleam of the strawberries that sit plump and fat in his palm. They've been growing so well lately, and his father's new compost suggestion must be the cause— the dark soil fresh and clean as a rich, mossy scent fills the air.

He's quite proud of his little cultivation, and Papa is quite proud of him too when he hears that Silver intends to share the newest batch of strawberries with the other children of the village, an apology of sorts.

"I do still want to be friends and I'm sorry for getting into a fight, but I couldn't let them say such awful things about you, Papa! Perhaps after we're all friends again, they can come over and pick the strawberries with us and see that I was telling the truth?"

But the scrapes and bruises are worth the scolding when his father chuckles as if Silver's told the funniest joke in the world ("Who could have raised such a kind and forgiving child? It certainly wasn't me!") and ruffles his hair with that enigmatic smile, murmuring his gratitude for such a brilliant knight in shining armor. Popping a strawberry in his mouth with uncharacteristic relish, stem and all, his father reclines back in the shade, lidded gaze wandering lazily over to the compost pile.

"Perhaps they will, child. Perhaps they will."

i saw someone say they were hoping noah would apologize and it's just kinda fascinating to me...if he thought zionism was sexy on monday (or i guess on sunday probably and for many days and weeks before that) why would he suddenly think it's an awful ideology on friday?

OH i know very little about music as well, despite so many people in my family being musicians lol if i were to think about it, i would imagine it to be what you might expect, melancholy and sounding of a church choir. i mentioned it before in passing, but i think of angel's voices as being naturally melodic, almost musical in their speech, with michael's voice now taking on the tones of a funeral dirge - that's likely the direction i would go in, as his flames also smell like the incense burned at funerals. it is something slow, oppressive, and haunting, almost suffocating, a lamentation his cherubim sing to him because he is trapped in his own grief

an important thing i've learned over the years from listening to bands entire discographies is to never judge a whole band on one song or one album and assume that's what all of it will sound like because chances are you will be wrong

it's very much a social thing!!!! it also depends on where you go like im pretty sure if you go to more expensive places they do automatically add a service charge, but the general rule is that there's no requirement to tip and it's up to you. so at my coffee shop we had a tip jar that people would put their change into or would drop a quid into as they were leaving, and that was very normal like no one really expected to be tipped at a coffee shop (which is why i got so uppity that i saw so little of the tips bc my customer service literally contributed SO MUCH to the usually minuscule amount of tips we got). BUT because where im working now is a lot nicer, tips are expected as a SOCIAL THING. no one is gonna chase you out if you dont tip nor is it added onto your bill, but if you spend 2 hours and £100 on a meal without leaving a tip, you're gonna get SLATED by the servers. this is why we have suchhhh a big focus on customer service in england, because tips aren't always a given; they have to be earned. you look at a customer knowing full well they probably wont tip you and it's your job to leave such an impression and charm them so much that they cough up, and that's what i'm really good at because im a shameless two-faced cunt <3

Alright, well, what can I say? I think I'm at a point in my life where I can feel confident about my writing. I'm constantly growing and learning and I've come so far since back when I was a teen writing fanficions. I also like the fact that I have a good grasp and understanding of my characters. I feel like I know them inside and out now. And because of that, my muse for them is really strong. Stronger than my previous muses or other muses I have xD

I think that's all I've got for myself but lemme say something nice / positive about you because I think it's also only fair. Since I don't want to take all of the spotlight here. So.

I think you're a very good and talented writer. You also have a good understanding of all of your characters and the way you write introspection is just so good ! You're also a very good friend and I enjoy talking with you and roleplaying with you. I'm always looking forward to plotting with you because it's just really easy since you come up with the best ideas !! And going back and forth with ideas is super fun because of that. I can tell you put in a lot of work in your writing and you characterizations. And it shows !!

and not to get sappy here, but you always make my day that much brighter because talking with you / getting to interact with you in any way is just so great and fun !! i'm so glad i got a chance to meet you and i consider you one of my closest friends !

Anyways, I could go on but i don't want to make this too long and I've already said a lot of this to you as well whenever it comes up. So yeah !!
