The Night Security

Danny decides to tag along with Dani and travel around the world. With him now being in his late twenties he decided he could use a break from all the craziness back home, and he's been wanting to spend more time with Dani.

Dani despite it being years still looks the same, they had gone to Frostbite to make sure nothing was seriously wrong, Dani was completely healthy but it seems Vlad's messy attempts at cloning alongside her also being a halfa had made it so Dani would age a lot slower than a normal human would.

Danny until that point hadn't realized that he also looked very young for a man who was almost 30, but he could just get away with it by just saying he had a baby face.

To gain money for their travels Danny decided to start doing random jobs normally he would end up with being night security since those positions weren't very popular and always had a position open or where willing to have an extra pair of eyes on the job.

With that being said Dani and his sleep schedule were completely flipped over now being practically nocturnal. They would go out shopping or have fun while the moon was still high in the sky.

Now with that being said, he had no clue why there always was at least that one person at whatever job he would have that seemed to believe he was a vampire,

Yes a vampire, and he could brush it off if it had only happened once or twice but no! This has happened in the majority of his jobs.

And look he gets it, he only gets night jobs, he hangs out with Dani outside only when the sun is nowhere in sight, and yes both he and Dani were sensitive to the sun but that was normal for people with pale skin they would burn easily and considering that pale blue eyes tend to struggle seeing with too much sun clarity especially since they're not used to being around the sun as much as before.

See he gets all those can kinda be vampire things but they where also just very normal and common human things as well.

So yes he was out here fighting vampire allegations instead of ghost ones like when he was young.

Clark turned around slightly spooked he hadn't heard the young man a moment ago, which should be impossible with his super hearing. Focusing on the man In front of him he realized that the heartbeat he was now hearing was... too slow, unhealthily so. If he had just been hearing the heartbeat he would have been sure it was from someone dying, but the man In front of him showed no struggle or weakness in spite of that.

"Sir?"

Clark snapped back into the present. "Oh! Right sorry about that, it's been a very long day usually I'm out of here long before the sun sets."

"No worries man I totally get that, I just saw that you dropped your glasses case near me and wanted to quickly return it."

"Well thank you Mr.?"

"Fenton, Danny Fenton I work the night shift here."

I don’t think it makes sense to assume that Jason was mocking Mia’s past. At all. The thing that got jason painted as violent back in the 80s was his anger against rapists…how does that turn into mocking a victim? and that entire story was written by winick. Do we honestly think winick intended to communicate that? The same writer who made Jason’s first kill a man who was trafficking children? Who had Jason pause in his mission of madness to make sure those kids were found by the right people so they wouldn’t be in further danger?

In the DnD game Juna regularly drinks reduction potions to sneak in somewhere or to.... enjoy being smol and eating big candy and gummy bears :^) (also she's a homebrewed titan slayer rogue, she gets bonuses when she fights bigger opponents)

Though if her uncles found out they'd be worried. They're already giants, so she'd be heckin smol. Flams would definitely tease her, but... in the end he'd feel weird. After all, he's a villain in DnD and he makes smol peeps mysteriously disappear. So after this encounter he might feel... different?

formerly an essay in tags but - billie lurk. half-nameless, misremembered woman. her powers derived from the things taken from her, without any catharsis or empowerment. the rat charm, tied with deidre's hair, her lover's voice in the mouth of rats. her arm and eye, taken, given back only to cause her chronic pain, then lost again. foresight seems a cruel gift for a woman who botched the timing of her takeover of the whalers, and bet wrong when it came to delilah.

she never bore the outsider's blessing; his first visit to her was more like an assault. every other dishonored POV character gets the choice to be selfish, and for that selfishness to mean something, but billie's actions have no effect on the world at large, either, in a game without a chaos system.

some say that corvo is the ghost, but he can reach out and change things. billie's buried herself twice and come back and nothing she does seems to matter - she is less a protagonist, more a convenient full stop in the narrative.

try this: open doto, start a new game. sit in her cabin. notice how little of billie there is. even the woman she loved more than anyone has the face of another named character.

she sits amongst the assets of other games: empty canvases and a dressmaker's mannequin that wears nothing.

Have you watch the amazing digital circus? If so thoughts?

I just watched it yesterday! Animation is great, characters and their designs are great, voice acting is great (lol hey its Spamton and Ex-Angel Dust!) I loved the 2D incorporation into the 3D and how they really tried to push the limits of the 3D facial expressions. And they utilized the glitchy nature of 3D for comedy or to emphasize creepiness for the storyline. My friends said it felt overpacked, fast, and confusing at the beginning, but personally, it felt pretty straightforward to me. I think I'd need to see more episodes of it to make a proper analysis, but I got positive vibes for its future!

I'm curious where it will go or how long it plans to be.
