Athena stood before the Marimo Ink booth, looking with interest at the offered services. She had never been one to care about tattoos or piercings but maybe it was time for her to update a few of her habits. As long as her soul remained the same, decorating her body wouldn’t change who and what she was. The goddess looked up at the tall young man standing behind the stall. "Excuse me ?" she politely called to get his attention, offering a smile in salutations. "Do you pierce ears too ?"

Kaz wasn't very good at customer service so he wasn't going to be the first to say anything, but once Athena spoke, he perked up. Sure he was kinda... looming. and sure he didn't look anyone in the eys when he spoke but his attention was 100% pointed to her and her question. "At the shop we pierce anything but today we are doing any from the neck up so if you're down for an ear piercing, we can definitely do that shit." The goth started moving around to grab a few things, a paper to sign just in case she really did want one today, and some cute mossy marimo ink pens he had designed. "Have you had any piercings before?" Truly he had never done anything like this at all besides in his shop so he may be a little out of his comfort zone here, but shit he was doing his best and he actually adored giving people their first piercings. It was always so fun to watch how they handle it and see their excitement when it was done. That's why he does what he does. Because art on bodies whether its a tattoo or a piercing was the most beautiful of it all in Kaz's opinion.

What is one media (book movie show poem whatever) that you will NEVER be able to move on from? Like this thing is the pinnacle of things for you.

UGH this is so hard because there are so many things I have loved for many years and so many things I thought I would love forever but have fallen away from me and so many things that fell away and came back to me in a new light 😩

The easiest, and therefore least exciting, answer is The Birdcage (1996), a movie wherein Robin Williams and Nathan Lane play a gay couple who respectively own and perform drag in a gay Miami night club downstairs from their apartment. Thanks to Robin Williams' shitheel straight son from an earlier relationship, they have to "play straight" for a dinner with the son's fiancee's ultra conservative GOP senator father (played by Gene Hackman) and just-as-conservative mother. Hijinks ensure.

My parents (who somewhat ironically are having a very difficult time coming to terms with me being trans, which lmao) showed me this movie as a kid and since then we've seen it so many times that quotes from the film have become memes in our family. I probably watch this movie like three times a year and I know most of the script cold, something I can say for no other movie. Also, now that I’m out and in a ✨gay✨ relationship (and civil union!), it hits entirely different, especially the short sweet scene between Robin Williams and Nathan Lane where they sign, essentially, the precursor to a civil union that makes me cry every fucking time.

This is the easiest answer simply because it's the piece of media that's stuck with me the longest at this point in my life. It's a fun, if messy, movie that's very clearly of its time, but I love it with every ounce of my greasy queer heart.

Other contenders include:

the novel Nevada by Imogen Binnie (I have read many books in my life, but this is the only book that has ever read me);

the short story Obsolution by Casey Plett (not sure I've ever vibed with a main character like I did with this one);

the poem Archaic Torso of Apollo by Rainer Maria Rilke (coincidentally, my very first reblog on this tumblr account); and

the album Blonde by Frank Ocean (the road to accepting myself in my twenties was paved almost exclusively by queer black men).

As a send of here's my compilation of every detail/gag or pretty much everything that I loved about the Fionna and Cake finale.

First off, the lighthearded stuff.

First of all. That's Hunter!!! We finally get to see HW gender-swapped counterpart's design. Gotta say I love that they kept it the same, it does feel like it could fit anyone.

Talking about him, I LOVE that they are finally adding him to the gang. I didn't expect him to be so prevalent in the finale, but I couldn't be happier! It seems like the crew has finnaly learned to apreciate HW and they are inserting her (even if it's Hunter) whenever they can.

All the raw emotion of the lich would have been unheard of at any other point in AT's history. The depression and hopelessnes, such human emotions were amazing to explore in him. He poses himself as a "ceesless weel" a god-like beeing of pure destruction, but even he neels when he realices it was all for nothing.

For some time I theorized that Golb (and subsequently Golbetty) was, in fact, Scarabs and Prismo's Boss. Kind of like a ultimate deity, high up on the pantheon. But seeing how Scarab adresses her in such a careles way, emphasizing that she should "stay out of this" made me think about the real power dinamic between thees two. And thus, of the whole multiverse bureocracy.

This tittle card rips me apart. It's briming with thematic importance. But I feel so many emotions simply beacuse it says cheers, it's like a send-off, a happy cheerfull goodbye to all of us who enjoyed this show. It made me tear up a bit when I first saw it.

For thoose who aren't aware Pawn Swan's was created by Steven Wolfhard after CAWM alongside the pup kingdom. He has in his tumblr a gigantic amount of lore about it. I'm sooo happy they finally got to use his ideas and designs. Many of the pups seen all trought Shermy and Beth's sequence were in his drawings too. So go check that out!

I'm a complete sucker for happy endings and THIS was PERFECTION. I simply connot describe how much I obsolutely LOVE that they are able to comunicate and talk. it's just perfect, this show has me spoiled-rotten.

In pure Marceline fashion Marshal tries playing another song. And Gary is soo into this man it's unreal

But, also in pure Marceline fashion, he gets interupted. It kind of reminded me about Marceline's song to Bonny in Obsidian. But it's kind of the oposite outcome, Scarab isn't affected by it at all while Glorbo is finaly delt with.

Talking about Simon being happy. I'm just so glad that he has been able to reconect with Astrid!!! This man is such a DAD, I love him :,)

Before Fionna's world was finaly canonized we can see that it really just amounts to the city. Which makes sense because if you are trying to put a whole world in a dude's head, you are going to have to cut some stuff out.

Anyways, after they are made legit we can see that the city has expanded! And I also assume that now there's not only a city, but a whole world too!!

This really came as a surprise honeslty, but a welcomed one at that. I assume that since Jay agrees to stay in the city, even if it's not forever, Farmworld Finn must be fine. It doesn't make any sense for him to drop his 4 little brothers just to screw around in another universe.

The only sad part is that, since we don't see neither PB nor Marcy in the tank that means they are probably dead. In the end it does seem like they took eachothers life, together.

Now onto the heavy stuff!

"This is the world we want to fight for. The Scarab is kind of invincible. But we won't give up. If we die, we'll die together, as ourselves"

This cuts deep. At this moment Fionna was ready to die. She acknowledges that she had tried everything she could and that, in a way, it was her fault. But she also understands that this is what it is. And she's ready to depart. In what she thought were her last moments she found happines in thoose and that around her. Magic or not, they were all together, and that's what mattered.

"We made our choices. We could have made better ones, but I don't have any regrets. You were a wonderful experience"

We knew Simon had wronged Betty. She had put away everything for him. He didn't do it on porpuse, but he recognised he could have been more thoughtful. In the end, while Simon acknowledges his mistakes Betty doesn't demonise neither him nor the relationship that came bacuse of it. It's a very sentimental, heartfelt conclusion.

As humans we often try to make our best to navigate life. But with all the choices in front of us it's very hard to get it right. A lot of time might have to pass before we truly see how wrong we were. We realize that we hurt people, and that things didn't have to be this way. But once we acknowledge this we can finaly move on. At this moment, Simon realizes that it's okay to fail but, unfortunetly, we can't go back. We have to live with it and it can't prevent us from moving forward.

In the end all we can do is have compassion for ourselves, and for each other.

That was pretty much all of the details and highlights for me. There's some other ones but they are kind of too obvious to point out.

my headlines are really stupid sometimes

Jack and his S/O, (Y/N), are in a Restaurant for Lunch, turning out that his s/o's order surprises him a lot.

"I would like the same as Jack, thank you" the waiteress nods at (Y/N)'s words and leaves, Jack looks over to you in surprise.

"a steak?." the surprise can be heard in his deep and rough voice.

"ofcourse! I love steak a lot, meat in general but marinated steak is my obsolute favorite" (y/n)'s lips grow into a smile and you look at Jack.

his eyes widen as he hears this from you and the feeling of joy and happiness runs through his body, not a lot but he can feel it.

when your meals are served, you immediatly go for the bone part that's in the steak, you clean it and take off the smallest pieces of meat making it look like a washed and sanded bone piece.

Jack's eyes widen as he watches you cleaning the bone so much that it almost shines. the both of you continue the meal and finish up the smallest piece on the plate, making it look like it was never used.

you were about to say something but your voice stops when you see Jack reaching for his bone and chewing on it, he eats it like It's just another flesh piece of the steak, he has no Problems on chewing nor swallowing it.

when he sees you watch in a shocked stage, he immediatly stops...did this scare them? was it too much? they're probably confused..

"I...did not mean to scare you." he looks in (y/n)'s eyes.

your shocked stage starts to calm and relief, a little chuckle leaves your lips. (y/n) reaches for the bone on their plate and holds it over to Jack.

"here...you can have mine too"

Jack's eyes widen but he doesn't hesitate on taking the bone "thank you.." he holds it and bites a piece out of it like it's nothing.

you rarely hear a thanks from him but when you do, your heart speeds up and you smile widely with happyness filling your Heart.

So far we've seen 4 departments and groups that correlate to eachother

Department of Convival condition Observation- Chayanne, Leonarda, Ramon, Dapper, Bobby, Tílin, Trump ,and JuanaFlippa aka the original eggs to the "first" residents of the island (I put it in quotation because we don't even know if their actually the first residents due to the buildings that were there when the qsmp first started)

Department of Substance Monitoring- Tallulah, Pomme, and ????(who we think is Egg A1/Hope)

Department of Permanence Surveillance- Sunny, Pepito, Empanada aka the eggs from egg island

Department of system analysis: Richarlyson and another egg (that's most likely gonna be given to the new residents that will be there when the server opens again)

Department of Convival condition Observation is most likely conditioning and observing the eggs, residents or both. Convival means friendly or agreeble so most like to make them like that.

Department of Substance Monitoring to me feels like drug testing on the eggs in their custody maybe even something like a pharmaceutical company.

Department of Permanence Surveillance something like permanent surveillance of the eggs, residents and the outside world. The watcher in most clips we've seen him has been around screens that are most likely cameras and surveillance that are everywhere on egg island.

Department of system analysis from what is stated by the name it analyzes the system of the Federation or something else. All the eggs from that Department icons were glitching and from what we can tell from Richarlyson seem to know how to get around only being online with their main parents/Residents. It also seems like Richas came earlier than the other eggs from their other egg from the same group.

Also Cellbit(issued), Bagi(failed), Mouse(rejected), Jaiden(failed), Arin(Obsoluted), ElQuackity(Obsoluted), Etoiles(Rejected), Baghera(issued) was the poster hanged up on the wall in the beginning, which from what I can tell that their all federation experiments mostly failed ones. Which I expect from most of them but Mouse? I don't think I know her lore well so I'm quite suprised and curious about.

Pls tell me if you know anything or theories. I'm genuinely curious about what's going on.

I know trophy husband Dabi is a popular concept in the fandom, but what about trophy husband Hawks???

After the war he is just DONE, he’s so tired and burnt out, and nobody blames him for taking several big steps back when society are slowly starting to function and heal again.

Dabi, no, Touya, however, doesn’t quite have that luxury (for good reason, Keigo reminds him when he gets too grumpy about it).

The major condition of the house arrest he’s currently serving under Keigo’s roof is that he attends a program All Might is putting together for rehabilitate villains, and in the future hopefully catch at risk youth snd help them avoid the villain route.

This is a lot of work, and Touya surprises himself with enjoying the work, and when he ends up accepting an offer to get a bigger part in the project oing forward, agreeing to be trained to eventually be one of the in house teachers and mentors for the at risk youth, which might even result in his house arrest being shortened over time.

Keigo is so proud of him he could explode.

However, it does give him a lot of time to be around the house by himself.

At first, it made him anxious.

The one thing Keigo had always worked for was suddenly here, not just a possibility, but a fact.

And he had no clue what to do with it.

He spends his days restless, waiting around for something he doesn’t know, the highlight of each day being Touya coming home to him.

So he tries to work with that.

He starts working on making their place feel more like a home, step by step, and slowly it starts to work.

Not only does it make Touya both proud and happy, but it also makes Keigo feel accomplished in a way he’s not used to.

In a personal way.

He starts to document these changes with a new, anonymous social media account, and he starts getting a small, but passionate following.

His next step is trying to conquer the kitchen.

This turns out to be a bit more of a challenge, but after a lot of trial and error, as well as an endless supply of cooking videos online, he starts to see some progress.

Cooking also happens to be one of Touya’s favorite things, so it becomes a perfect bonding activity for the couple during weekends and Touya’s days off.

Then one day Touya mentions how they should paint the bedroom, and Keigo realizes that they can do anything they want in this place.

It’s theirs.

So Keigo starts to plan the home renovation of a lifetime. The new project gets him a whole new levels of followers on his little interior account, and he is having the time of his life.

Touya also finds it highly amusing to come home to Keigo covered in paints, just as excited every single day to show off his progress.

And Touya must admit, Keigo has a knack for this.

But even more so, seeing the spark in his boyfriend’s eye makes Touya’s heart clench with pride and happiness like he’s never felt before.

All is well in their new life, and for once, Keigo finds himself able to enjoy it.

bonus: the tabloids and hero fan accounts have an obsolute field day when Keigo accidentally posts a pic on his interior account where you can see his entire reflection on a shiny surface, and he outs himself as the person behind the account.

Living in the end is not about believing

The difference between living in the end and believing is the difference between what each mean. Believing is believing, believing is like genuinely feeling while living in the end is all just thought and the end has nothing to do with feelings. Living in the end has nothing to do with believing. Living in the end has everything to do with your thought pattern and what you are thinking about, so when we say live in the end, we have to live in the end but we also don't have to feel it. Which means we have to consistent in our thought pattern and living mentally as it things are good or going your way.

Let's take us you are trying to be rich, mentally you need to be rich, mentally you need to be thinking about "what would I be thinking if I had my desire?"that's a constant question you need to ask yourself "how would I be handling this if I had my desire?". This is all mental work, none of this is in the 3D, none of this is out here. All of the work is that needs to be done is in all thoughts!

So when we say we just have to persist, you just have to live in the end but you don't have to believe it. It's because you don't have to conjure feelings, you don't have to conjure a genuine believe for it. You just have to consistentally live as if you already had it in your mind. That has nothing to do with believing, that has nothing to do with feelings, it just has to do with the amount of what thought sentences your putting together in.

Your brain just live as if is basically just having thoughts about you would be thinking if you had your desire. If I am repeating sentences like "I am so rich I am so rich and I have so much money in the bank account" I don't have to believe that, I don't have to like consciously believe that if I am repeating it over and over I am leaving as if I already have it and that will manifest . You don't have to believe it but believing is great. If you can believe it obsolutely that's great you can believe it , if you can't believe it just live in the end.

Believing is great some people can believe but some people can't believe, it's not a problem to not be able to believe you just have to persist. Manifesting is all about finding what works for you and there is no wrong way to manifest.
