"I don’t know what’s going on, but I’m always up for getting wild.”
Happy Birthday to Kiba Inuzuka! You will forever be my number one Naruto guy, no matter how many years pass by. Here's a throwback to the Sunday of New York Comic Con 2021. Kiba is actually one of my oldest cosplays, but I have updated his outfit quite a bit over the years!

none of this will be / has to be in season four but all i can think about is
Discussions of Callum being close to marrying age and that he either should consider and/or won’t consider any prospects (or he is, but clearly very unhappily/reluctantly)
Helping Ezran (and his own fear) being why Callum didn’t go after Rayla post-TTM, with the boys getting into an argument where Ez doesn’t want/need Callum’s help or something and his brother lowkey explodes with “I stayed to help you and now you don’t even want it?” and that pushes him closer to Aaravos
Aaravos appealing to an (understandably skeptical but still kinda excited) Callum by giving the kid real information on Viren’s plans and what he was up to (perhaps that the smoke assassins were created to help smooth over issues in the Pentarchy) and pulling a “Oh, you want to get rid of him? Here’s where he’s going to be,” sending Callum right where he needs the kid and Cube to be
That is if Ez isn’t the one who gets info about the ruins of Elarion from Rex Igneous (wise poster dragon), hence this ‘out-of-context’ spoiler from NYCC 2021

Fans of film, TV, comics, and all things pop culture don’t really need a reason to go to a big comic convention. You go because everything you love is all under one roof. However, at this year’s New York Comic Con, that statement goes even further. io9 is excited to exclusively reveal that Oscar Isaac—an actor who has basically been in every amazing movie or franchise you’ve loved over the past several years—will be in attendance, and you can meet him.
Isaac is New York Comic Con 2022's headlining guest; he’ll be on hand not just for his very own spotlight panel, but photo ops and autograph sessions too. This is your chance to shake hands and snap a pic with Poe Dameron (from Star Wars), Marc Spector (from Moon Knight), Duke Leto Atreides (from Dune), Miguel O’Hara (From Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse), Gomez Addams (from The Addams Family), Llewyn Davis (from Inside Llewyn Davis), and Apocalypse (from X-Men Apocalypse), all at once.
New York Comic Con takes place from October 6-9 at the Javits Center in New York City. Tickets are on sale now for the event itself; for fans who are attending and want to meet Oscar Isaac, those tickets go on sale Thursday, August 11 at 1 p.m. EST over on the official NYCC site. Photos and autographs cost $225 each. Plus, fans who can’t attend but would like an Oscar Isaac autograph will have the option to send in an item to get signed with a personalized message. Those are available through September 19 at this link. Finally, the spotlight panel about all things Oscar Isaac is at the con on Sunday, October 9.
And, of course, Isaac is just one person attending the event. There’s sure to be plenty more, not just stars, but big shows, movies, comics, podcasts, fandoms, everything your pop culture heart can desire. For us though, we desire Oscar Isaac, and New York Comic Con is delivering. Head here for all the info you need on this year’s New York Comic Con.

Any idea(s) as to why Cait hasn't been to any OL functions such as Hublander and the upcoming Land on 6? What was the last event she attended?
Thanks for the message, @dragonflydreams47 😃
She might not have been invited. She might not have been interested. She might have had previous commitments. She might be done with attending cons that aren’t Outlander-sanctioned.
What was the last event she attended?
last publicised: JW Anderson fashion show on the 18th of February in London 😉
last con: NYCC, virtually, in October 2021
last festival: ATX in June 2023
last fan event: Season 7 Premiere in June 2023
I’m able to post only 10 images at a time. Here’s a sampling of fan events she’s attended since 2015:

She’ll be busy, preparing for her directorial debut and, like the rest of the cast, getting ready for Season 8. Assuming Starz promotes the elusive Season 7B, we’ll see her in what are probably long-ago recorded videos, etc. Some fans are wondering if Starz will host another mid-season premiere event like they did for Season 1B in 2015.
I’m looking forward to seeing her promote The Amateur (8 November) and The Cut (TBA), and hope the films are represented next awards season. As much that circus irritates me, I enjoy seeing her and Tony out and about. 👠👞
Remember… I have failed 'Star Wars' trivia tests. People come up to me at conventions and use terms that I've never heard of. — Mark Hamill
Sounds like the Force wasn’t with him. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Matthew Vaughn was at New York Comic Con this weekend and gave an update on the potential third KINGSMAN film. And by update I mean, reiterating the same thing he's been saying for years.
During the same NYCC panel, Vaughn was asked about the future of the Kingsman film franchise, which he said it was not over.
“We’ve got to get on with Kingsman 3 because I was joking that Colin [Firth] is going to end up being a portrait on the side while Taron is Arthur,” he said. “So we are working on that at the moment.”
This seemingly non-committal response is bewildering because at one point Taron Egerton said they were to begin filming in September 2022, but he then walked it back. But with such a definitive date in mind it appears they did have movement at one point.
Vaughn did have a more definitive answer about the follow-up to 2021's THE KING'S MAN. There will be a sequel titled THE TRAITOR KING and will deal with the rise of Hitler; which isn't surprising considering the end of the film. He will also be rebooting KICK-ASS. The original two films starred Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Chloe Grace Moretz.
What are the men of KINGSMAN up to?
Taron Egerton is still MIA. The only credit he has on IMDB is the Netflix film CARRY-ON which wrapped some time ago. He was even absent from the BAFTA Cymru awards this weekend where he beat out Rhys Ifans (House of The Dragon), Owain Arthur (The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power) and Graham Land (Melt) for Best Actor for his work in BLACK BIRD.
The award was handed out by Luke Evans - a winner that night for Best Entertainment Programme- who said Taron is his neighbor so he will bring it to him.
Tumblr media
Another MIA Kingsman is Colin Firth who has zero projects listed on IMDB. He did turn up in a recorded program this weekend in support of the charity organization Action for Stammering Children.
Looking good, Cols.
Tumblr media
I can't believe this is the last image we've seen of Colin Firth this year.
Tumblr media
Know who is never not working? Mark Strong, that's who. He's a work horse! He even has his son Roman working.
Roman, who appeared in three episodes of Strong's series TEMPLE, which is executive produced by his wife Liza Marshall.
Tumblr media
Strong has 3 films that have yet to come out and 8 pending gigs on IMDB. However, IMDB is user-maintained so it's likely some of those 8 are dead in the water or inaccurate. One of those iffy entries is that he is listed as being in the upcoming Max THE BATMAN, spinoff series: THE PENGUIN starring Colin Farrell. It's listed that Strong has been cast as Carmine Falcone who was played by John Turturro in THE BATMAN.
Now someone who wasn't working, but now is finally back at it is Edward Holcroft who is Lithuania filming the six-part series WOLF'S PALATE.
As long as the selfies keep coming.

Do you think the "two cakes" flashcard would work for Rayla's birthday in season 4? (the one shown at Comic-Con@Home 2021)
oh god i hope so - i'd weep! and since they never got to celebrate rayla's birthday in canon, it would fit <3

Now that we're less than a week away from the mario trailer I wanna break down how fucking batshit insane the drip-feed of info has been because you really gotta step back and just. Look in awe at how the info for this thing has been given to us:
2018-2019: illumination announces they partnered with Nintendo to make a Mario movie. Not much info after that
September 2021: shigeru miyamoto shows up to a random Nintendo direct, announces the mario movie is coming out December 2022, and lists the most unhinged group of celebrities you can think of to play these characters. Then leaves
Radio silence until April 2022. The movie is delayed to April 7, 2023
Radio silence until september 2022. Shigeru miyamoto once again shows up to a random nintendo direct. He says the mario movie is indeed still happening, and then doesn't talk about it further and pivots to talking about pikmin for like 6 minutes then leaves
Fast forward 2 weeks after the direct, and after a year and a couple weeks since the cast got unveiled, NYCC announces they'll screen the fucking trailer on October 6th 2022.

Got the latest "Rings of Power" season 2 spoilers from Fellowship of Fans today but starting out with actual news about the show in general and when it'll likely air!!! :D
Tumblr media
Amazon is planning to have the show be done in post-production by June 2024. This indicates a fall 2024 release as compared to season one they finished post-production in May and it started airing in September. Most of us have been thinking it'll be fall of 2024 due to multiple factors with the strikes, no promotion so far this year, skipping both major Comic Cons in San Diego and New York, and then Amazon also having their other popular fantasy series "The Wheel of Time" and not wanting these two shows to compete against each other. I've seen others speculate too it's likely now both these shows will air in opposite years to avoid this as 2021 was s1 of "WoT", last year was "TROP", this year was s2 of "WoT", 2024 will be s2 of "TROP, 2025 s3 of "Wot", 2026 s3 of "TROP", and so on. So likely "TROP" will be at both SDCC and NYCC next year too.
Now onto the major spoilers!!! :D
The first scoop was that Charlie Vickers and the actor playing what FOF called the "Original Form" but is likely Annatar filmed a very important scene together that the showrunners were present for. This was filmed before the writers strike happened in May too and the showrunners insisted on being present for this scene. In the YouTube video the FOF's hosts all think this scene is likely either showing either Halbrand/Sauron turning into Annatar in front of Adar before going to Eregion and the audience is in on this plot, or that Annatar shapeshifts back into Halbrand in front of Galadriel and Celeborn in the season finale battle shocking not only them but the audience which was a scoop we had a few weeks ago. :)
FOF clarified too in the YT vid that this scene is not a flashback. Also they insisted again that there's no indication that this Annatar actor is staying past this storyline and is only a recurring guest-star compared to Charlie being a series regular and the main actor as Sauron for the rest of the series. Supposed the Annatar storyline is also only in episodes 6-8 at the most. Though was funny hearing in the YT vid the hosts compare this to "Sailor Moon" transforming. LOL But realistically they think like myself that it'll be similar to how we've seen other shapeshifters like Loki, Mystique, Martian Manhunter, and more do it on-screen in live-action shows and movies.
Then the final scoop was that Círdan will make his debut in the season 2 premiere!!! :D I didn't think he would show up that early but excited for it. Very curious as to how as supposedly the premiere is Sauron centric but this could still work too to show Círdan. In the YT vid they also talked more about him and if his story will connect with the other elves and if he'll get his ring Narya this early or later, and if this will tie into the storyline with The Stranger (possibly Gandalf) and Nori as we've had very little spoilers on their storyline besides them filming in Spain. Still don't know Círdan's actor yet either but again excited to see how this plays out.

Do you know where/when that pic that NYCC used for Tom's appearance announcement is from? I can't recall seeing it before.
Looks like it’s from the Empire cover photo session in 2021, by Steve Schofield. I haven't seen this exact one before, either, but the suit and look is the same.

I met Hayden at NYCC 2021 and had rushed together a closet cosplay of Padme's "AotC" white outfit. As I was leaving the photo op (where we put our hands on both sides of the COVID safety glass like we were pressing them together - his idea) he stepped out of his spot and softly said, "Hey, by the way, you look amazing." Totally unprompted. Pretty sure I floated on air the whole rest of the day off that one sentence. He was so unbelievably kind.
😭 HIS IDEA. That sounds like an amazing photo op 🥺💗 Honestly everyone who had an interaction with him I've spoken to was just gushing with fondness and you could really tell that he appreciated all the love people had for him <3 WHAT A GENTLE SOUL

Okay I'm doing a Six inspired cosplay for NYCC this year, and I've come to use your stuff for multiple multiple references so first, THANK YOU. Secondly, I'm basing my (Star Wars mashup) cosplay off of the pink alt costume, you have it written down that it's two parts but put on at the same time. Have you seen any photos of it either on the rack / not the actresses; or a photo of the back? I appreciate any help you could give!!
Hey!!! I’m so glad to help!
Yes, there’s actually a great pink alt resource on this:
Tumblr media
Zara MacIntosh did a takeover where she shows her whole process of getting into costume and exactly how that works. Very helpful both for shots of the back of the costume and for understandings its’ construction. That section of the takeover starts here and continues for several more stories. It’s all saved in the “Zara 2021” highlight on @/sixthemusical. It doesn’t show much of the side, but there’s a few good photos here.
Tumblr media
These show a few different construction methods. On the left and center photos, the top is separate while the peplum and main skirt pieces are attached to each other (there’s snaps on the front and sides and on the left photo they are already snapped together to be put on more easily, but you can see that they’re unattached in the back). Meanwhile, right shows a different style with the top and peplum attached while the main skirt is separate instead. Right is technically an Aragon photo, but they have the same construction method and I just have clearer photos of that change for Aragon than I do for pink alt. Older pink alt and Aragon costumes, including most pre-lockdown, had the peplum attached to the skirt with top separate. Newer, since about spring 2022, have become standardized with the peplum usually attached to the top instead and main skirt separate.
You can see a little bit of what I meant with the pieces being separate but attached before they’re actually put on in that takeover. There’s also this tiktok from Esme Rothero which shows the whole process with her silver alt. Different design of course, but same principle.
I‘ll also refer you to a few posts about some construction and design changes in recent pink alt costumes: 1, 2, 3
Also….Star Wars and Six mashup? Aka my two favorite things? That is a brilliant combo. If you feel comfortable sharing photos of the finished costume I would love to see them!
