I noticed that when Galadriel first saw the shipwrecked humans' raft, Halbrand was the first to notice her in return. He lifted his head and turned around to gaze in her direction with one eye (The director's used that single eye as a hint he was really Sauron). My theory is that he sensed Gal's presence even before truly seeing her and he knew she was something rare even for an elf. He told he was the only one who could see her "light," and I honestly think he was being serious. As a Maiar, I think Sauron can see both the physical appearance and the actual soul inside people. I think he was literally blinded by Gal's ("The Lady of Light's") inner brilliance. Her radiance to him was not just her famous golden hair and tempting body, but the fiery light within that BURNED unlike other elves' calm (and duller) souls.

I really like this theory!!! 😀 Fits with their whole light and darkness thing, and of course him being a Maiar.

I don’t think I’m ready to rewatch but this is still good news

Just saw about that new version of "The Office" that NBC just announced is happening, or they're filming a pilot at least, but I'm confused why they're saying it's set in the same universe as to me I would say that's a spinoff. I'm glad I'm not a reboot of the US one but it's connected to the US version of the show. They also announced they cast Domhnall Gleeson and Sabrina Impacciatore, and it will be an ensemble show too like the original so there will be more announced soon. I'm curious about it and likely will check it out if it gets picked up.
