oh, it's a little flashback scene to Silver and Sebek's first magic lesson (moving a spoon) -- it's one of the missable ones, so there's nothing plot-important in it, I just thought that one was really extra cute! 💚 Lilia does such a bad job of explaining how to use magic ("you go, like, SHWOO") that Malleus steps in and teaches them instead. so it's basically just Silver and Sebek staring intently (and audibly) at a spoon while Lilia flails around making noises and Malleus reminisces about how Lilia's teaching style has always been fascinatingly incomprehensible! pure sugary domestic fluff! just rubbing it in how absolutely terrible things have gotten :)

there are a bunch of cute flashbacks like that in the 7-81 and 7-83 maps; it's definitely worth getting them all if you are also fond of the diafam! I swear, this update has somehow managed to make me even more obsessed with this idiot dad and his three adopted dingbats and that should not have been possible.

So you’re finally embracing your bi-dentity, then?” She asks as she sips her drink and leans back in her chair, eyebrow arched at him accusingly. “Bi….dentity?” Alex’s confusion furrows his brow as his lips purse. He assumes this is some kind of play on his sexuality, but he’s not quite sure how Nora would even know about his questioning of it. He was fairly certain that had been just his internal narrative these days, that he’d not slipped up and said anything to anyone, and his stomach drops at the idea of someone in the real world knowing how much he’s been questioning everything lately. Henry’s turned everything on it’s head, and honestly, he’s been dreading what the end of this marriage will mean for them. “Yeah, like, the fact that you’re obviously bisexual. Have you come to terms with it then, finally?” Nora sips her drink and gives him the look. The look that says she can read him like yesterday’s old newspaper, that she has been reading him like her morning news updates ever since they’ve become best friends. “Oh god, you aren’t ready to come out, are you? Shit, I’m so sorry I figured… since you know, you married a man –” Nora looks sheepish, and Alex appreciates her for it, but he’s currently having a minor identity crisis, and doesn’t have time for her apologies. Because she’s right… he’s bisexual, and it’s been there since he found his eyes wandering to other guys in his grade in high school, or how he never cared who sidled up to grind on him at the club in college, or since Henry brushed into his life and became a permanent fixture, replacing his need for a partner with movie nights and dinners in and dates to uncomfortable law firm parties when he had no one else to go with. It’s all slotting into place, and Nora is still babbling but he cannot focus on anything but this puzzle piece fitting together.

it's honestly amazing how love never dies, in its most recent iteration with the US tour, did so much to improve upon the original london production

the sets look beautiful, the music still goes hard, the lyrics were reworked, and they had an extremely talented cast with great chemistry

and despite it all, it still managed to be one of the worst things i've ever seen. absolutely nothing can save that dumpster fire, and i think that's beautiful

my signed copy of nona came in :’) my friend picked up my mail today and just dropped the package on the table in front of me while i was doing some work and said “enjoy having an unproductive rest of your day” and lemme tell y’all i tore into that package like a kid on christmas
