Hello half valid anon here (i like my nickname 😂). I got through all your fics and they were all great. Right now im just reading a lot of poi fanfics and watch fanvids cause i can't accept that the series is over 😂 --- i know what you mean about fics affecting you negatively. I had this with 13rw (the Show and some fics) everything was so dark and hopeless that i had to stop watching it. I also love to seek out fics where someone is hurt so i can feel my pain through the characters (1)

But i try to read only fics with lots of comfort so it kinda feels like i get comforted as well (dont know if that makes sense). If it makes you uncomfortable or if its unhealthy for you to write about this i completely understand and i dont mean to come of as pushing you to write. I just hope whatever you do will be the right decision for you! As for you feeling suicidal im sorry to hear that. Let me know if there is ever anything i can do to help! I wish i could say sth more comforting but Im not super good with words :( i just hope you have people in your life that support you! 💛

maybe root will grow on you too? Or maybe you can skip her scenes and enjoy John, Harold and most importanly Bear! 😂 Yeah Shaw definately looks really good. She is a bit like Reese minus the caring. At first it seems she doesnt care about anything at all but thats not exactly the Case. There was an episode with Shaw and a little girl (3x5) and i really loved it (have you seen that one?).

I really think Shaw would grow on you (especially since in the beginning she does a lot with John) but then again a lot of her later scenes include Root so im not sure. Yes i love that there were never any romantic undertones with her and John!!

yeah the core four were great. I was so sad when Carter died! :(

i guess everyone sees chemistry different, i think Shoot and Rinch post have great chemistry ☺️

as for John being good with people: YES!! he is always so compassionate and such a great listener as well. I especially like him with children. John and the baby were so cute or John with the boy who offered to pay for him. John + Kids was always a great combination and i wished we would have seen it more often. Also regarding children we did we never got to see a John Taylor scene after Carters death? I needed that!

yes John the badass is also amazing! His character has so many different sides and i love him so much!!

i think Grace Harold was really cute but i dont really see a future for them, i mean he lied to her for so long! but then again they really loved each other so idk maybe they work it out. Im also not into John/Harold/Grace but like you said good for the people who like the ship :)

John and Zoe were great! i wish Zoe would have appeared more often!

Oh boi 13rw is so cursed, can't believe I watched all of the 1st season 😬 I remember being afraid of the suicide scene making me uncomfortable but it was so cringe, unrealistic and just bad that I wasn't even that uncomfortable, I cringed when she cut her arms but that's it.

Yeah big mood I project a lot on comfort fics as well. For suicide fics, I think it also depends on how the fics adress the subject. It's something that is complicated to write. If I read a suicide fic with no recovery I'm gonna project but feel like shit. But with recovery, I can project into the recovery as well so it's better ! I read a really good ace attorney fic showing Miles recovering after a suicide attempt, it was thoughtful and didn't fall into the pitfalls of magical super fast recovery/love heals everything, and some lines stuck with me, it was really good and comforting. But yeah if it's just a suicide/suicide attempt then I don't think it's good for me (but sometimes I still read it bc I'm a Dumb Bitch).

Dw you didn't come off as pushing 💜 I'll see how I feel about continuing it or not. I have to figure out if writing about suicide is positive or negative for me 🤔 I mean I'm not portraying John's suicidal crisis as a positive thing, and he reaches out to Harold, and considers he might get better so I don't think it's bad for me ? Another problem is that I have a tendency to drop my wips to write a new shiny idea I get, and then I never finish anything gkgkffjfjf I dropped the suicide fic for the body horror fic which I dropped for the time loop fic, and there's also the hanahaki fic I started last year but I haven't touched in months, plus a bunch of random shit floating around OneDrive lmao someone stop me

What helps the most is venting, just getting that shit out is helping y'know. I appreciate your support ♥️ at least it's not as bad as it used to be

Ikr the crossing hurt me so much. But thinking about it takes me back to my careese days and my first fics lol. I feel like the death of one of the core four + the abandonment of the library really alienated me from the show (did I already say that before ?). And here I'm gonna shamelessly derail from Carter to the library bc boiii do I have a lot of feelings about the library !! And you're here, talking about poi, so you're the perfect subject to throw these feelings at. This post really says what I feel about it (I'll put the link at the end as well if you wanna read it after you're done with this l o n g reply). It was in a way its own character and its forced abandonment/destruction really hit me (fucked me up when they broke that glass board). It says something that it's one of the few things I remember from S3 along with Carter's death and 4C. I loved it a lot, it was a cornerstone of the show. It was a safe place, a home for Harold and John (and Bear !). I love when they're together in there, I love this cracked glass board, this yellow stained glass in the windows !!! (at least I assume it's stained glass ?), these lights, Bear's cushion, the whole cozy/safe/isolated feelings, just absolutely everything. And yeah later they have the subway, idk when it's introduced I don't remember if it's early enough for me to have watched it. And maybe it's nice, I can't judge rn. But it's like trying to give me a new MC after a MCD, make him as nice as you want I'll be clutching the previous MC until I die. Gkfkfkff I went overboard and off topic but I just love the library ok

hey there! here i finally am, so sorry to have kept you waiting but i hope this reply finds you well! :)

now onto your questions…

so as far as a timelines @bakagamieru has some really good masterposts (x, x) that i would recommend checking out that really break things down play-by-play and i think most of which was compiled as it was happening so it’s a super great (and super detailed) documentation of all the shit that was going down during that period and all the narrative inconsistencies and stunts and back and forth, etc. they’re quite long though and, like i said, very detailed so i would recommend making sure you have plenty of time on your hands before you get sucked down a masterpost and link rabbit hole lol

and for more thoughts/theories of mine i would say check my zayn vs. ot4 tags (x, x - sorry there’s multiple iterations of this, apparently sometimes i had put a period after vs and sometimes i didn’t and now i have two tags smh at my own damn irritating inconsistency)

now onto the meat of your question, which is my current theories on zayn leaving/the zayn vs. ot4 narrative which i’m gonna put as a read more cause i’m not in the mood for ppl coming for me if they disagree, so read at your own risk folks…

so over the years there’s four main theories that i’ve personally gone back and forth over, which i’m gonna summarize quickly and try and explain as succinctly as i can my thoughts on each one and my opinion on the likelihood of it holding credence

disclaimer before i get into the explanations - a large part of my reasoning has to do with the caveat of there possibly being any kind of real tension or bad blood between zayn and louis in particular or any of the other boys. not saying that it was necessarily actually the case, just that it was a potential factor that went into my rationale and personal mental debate over the whole situation

he was coerced in some shape or form to leave and instead of fighting it, went along with it (maybe b/c he was already unhappy) - if there ever was actually any real animosity between him and louis (or harry/niall), this could explain why louis (or the others) might have hypothetically been mad at him b/c he might have felt that zayn could’ve/didn’t fight hard enough or went along with it too easily. but all that aside, even if there was no tension between him and louis/the boys, this option makes a lot of sense because given all he talked about going through in the band (depression, the e.d., too much pressure, not having control or being able to do what he wanted, the intense and rampant closeting putting a strain on his relationship, etc.) it’s not hard to see how he might’ve felt this was the best and only option

he was coerced into leaving, tried to fight it but couldn’t (and possibly even knew for a while that it was coming) - this wouldn’t explain why louis (or the others) might have hypothetically been mad at him but instead does put more credence into the fact that that was completely contrived and pushed by mgmt, and is also just as likely as #1 to me for pretty much the same reasons, not to mention it explains some shady things that happened in the months leading up to it re him not being there for certain promo obligations and appearances, etc.

he was coerced into leaving and had absolutely no choice about it and no way to fight it (i.e. didn’t necessarily want to leave but still knew for a while that it was coming) - pretty much same reasoning as above for this one, the only difference being that in this scenario he wouldn’t have wanted to leave at all which given all he went through i just don’t know if i believe that was wholly the case (more on this below)

he chose to leave completely on his own - although it would explain any lingering animosity, this to me is the least likely in large part because i just have a hard time believing he would have chosen all on his own to just up and leave in the middle of a tour, not to mention been allowed to (esp given that they would’ve all known they had the hiatus coming up not long after and were about to go the countries where zayn specifically probably have had the biggest following/fan support - the middle east and north africa). but even if he hypothetically really did choose it all on its own it’s hard for me to believe that he would have even been able to leave like that unless there was some element of complacency from their mgmt that allowed it to happen and then you have to wonder why would they just let 1/5 of their biggest money maker walk away with no law suits, no drama, no nothing. it stinks of a larger plan at play which is what brings me back to the theories above.

those are the main theories that i’ve gone back and forth on and i’ve never really been able to settle on just one, but to me given all that he expressed after leaving the most likely are the first two. i think all of the boys were pretty much done with how they were being treated, but zayn especially so, and it’s very easy for me to see how, when the opportunity arose he might have accepted because he felt it was the best way to save himself (as in his mental and physical health) and possibly also his relationship, though whether that acceptance was with a little (theory #1) or lot (theory #2) of initial opposition on his part, who’s to say. however, i definitely believe that, regardless of the details, there was some element of seeding and/or coercion from tptb, esp when considered in context with the shadiness of certain things, like him not being at certain events that he should’ve legally been obligated to be at in the months leading up to his leaving if no one but him knew he was planning on leaving. or him crying at the last concert that he performed at. those do not seem to be like the actions of a man who wanted to leave completely of his own accord and without any degree of finessing by mgmt to orchestrate it. when you’re a mega popstar in the biggest band in the world you don’t just not show up to something. that’s the type of situation where people will literally come to your house and drag you out of bed because you’re costing them a shit ton of money (like millions of dollars worth of money) by not being there. there’s tons of stories of rock stars where managers or someone from their team would literally go bang down a missing band member’s door, shove them in the shower to sober them up or help them whatever they needed to do, and drag their ass on stage to perform or to a press event or whatever. so you can bet that nothing less, if not the same, would be done for a missing member of a multi-billion-dollar-making band if need be.

so yeah zayn just not showing up for promo events and performances in the months leading up to his leaving? not believable to me at all. the only conceivable reason for him not to have been there is if mgmt didn’t want him there and the only reason (at least that i can think of) for why you wouldn’t 1/5 of your biggest money-maker to be somewhere he should have been legally obligated to be (and that might’ve cost you hundreds of thousands of dollars for him not to be) is if he wasn’t legally obligated to be there because you were already in the process of phasing him out. ergo it was very likely planned. months in advance. and if it was planned months in advance with the help and orchestration of mgmt then that story of him just deciding to up and leave is complete bs and makes it even more likely to me that there was a level of coercion (because again if 1/5 of your biggest money maker suddenly says to you ‘i wanna leave’ you’re gonna do everything in your power to make him stay so you can keep making money, not help phase him out. unless of course you want him out, which they clearly did.)

one last thing i wanna add is a link to a post i had saved that i feel adds a bit of further credence to all this, it’s nothing concrete but it’s something that helped solidify some things for me when i was a giant ball of confusion over what to believe

anyway, i know that i rambled on forever and this definitely did not end up being as succinct or brief as i had hoped (though lbr when is anything i do ever), but i hope this at least sort of answered your questions and made some amount of sense/was not too incoherent and didn’t completely bore you to death lol

a very informal breakdown of the second bob’s burgers movie trailer

there is SO MUCH in trailer 2 compared to trailer 1 (which i already wrote about here)

i took many, many screencaps from the second trailer that dropped today and i wanna analyze them and write out all my thoughts and theories!!!

don’t look under the read more if you don’t want to see any pics from the trailer (ik some people like to avoid spoilers entirely), or if you don’t want to load a bunch of images right now (i have several dozen screenshots im going to analyze). also fair warning i just screencapped these from youtube on my phone and didnt crop out the borders or the channel bug in the corner

(also pls dont rb this bc there’s a lot of people on this hellsite that i do not want interacting with me, there’s a reason i didn’t put this post in the main tags, just wanted to get my thoughts out somewhere)

pretty sure bob’s extended groan at the beginning is his reaction to the sinkhole.

the banker told them they have seven days to make a payment. is he holding them accountable for the sinkhole? idk what else they could possibly be paying for but the sinkhole is in the middle of a public road (and seems like it was caused by a ruptured water main or something like that) and the property is actually owned by fischoeder so it doesn’t really make sense for the belchers to be paying for it...maybe they took out some crazy loan then forgot about it and it’s come back to bite them? or maybe this is connected to the movie’s mystery arc?

i’m thinking this is linda trying to cheer bob up after either the bank meeting or the sinkhole opening up (since he’s looking down at the street). ofc if they’re connected then it’s both.

in this trailer we see more of the kids exploring the sinkhole at night, and we see that louise falls in (and drops kuchi kopi in the process!) maybe she’s stuck down there and this leads into an imagination sequence?

there’s some sort of crew examining the sinkhole. thankfully, the sinkhole isn’t in front of the apartment door...

this forest looks a little too enchanted to be in seymour’s bay so i’m wondering if it’s part of louise’s imagination sequences with kuchi kopi and company...

this looks to be the same scene from the first trailer where a ufo-like floating city shows up and i’m still banking on it being in gene’s imagination. on the other hand, if the belchers and the fischoeders turn out to be related i can see them giving gene a gig at wonder wharf

Return Of Darryl...the movie has been in production for a loooong time and darryl has been conspicuously absent from any episodes produced after some stuff about his VA being pretty awful came out, so i’m unsure whether they’ve recast him or just left in old dialogue for...consistency. iirc they wrapped dialogue recording fairly recently? that aside, there’s gene’s napkin dispenser and spoon contraption again! cannot wait to see what he’s up to with that thing.

these plushies look like they could be prizes from wonder wharf...is wonder wharf going to burn down or something? otoh the way they’re drawn looks considerably different than how background items are usually rendered in the show, so i’m not sure whether this is just a movie vs tv budget difference or whether it’s a fantasy/flashback sequence art shift.

more of louise’s imagination! she’s in her pajamas which lends weight to the possiblity that we see some imagination sequences after she falls into the sinkhole. also THAT’S A BUROBU SLUG IN THE BOTTOM LEFT!

i have a suspicion that this secret trapdoor is either underneath wonder wharf or somewhere in the fischoeders’ house. maybe the former and this scene leads to the scene in the first trailer where calvin and felix are driving the kids around in the storage area full of clowns and shit. but all the old rides are in their yard so it could also be in their house...

people angrily chasing linda (in the sexy burger costume), bob, and teddy (pushing the cart) through wonder wharf. i’m betting they screwed something up while selling burgers (possibly set something on fire, given the toys-that-look-like-prizes being on fire a few screencaps ago)

i’m guessing this is from tina’s friend fiction, but it could be a dream or imagine spot. i bet tina writes down her dreams if they’re friend-fiction worthy anyway!

this looks like felix’s treehouse so i could be right about her ziplining down the wire to sneak in in that brief glimpse we see in the first trailer... maybe she walks in and sees him dancing in front of the mirror in his sailor outfit??

probably connected to the horse friend-fiction we see above. i’m curious how they ended up at wonder wharf...

calvin looks adorable in that cape but i mostly took this cap for the background events. i’m pretty sure that’s grover in the far right of the image (pink suit is kind of a giveaway) and behind him it looks like something is blocked off further down the street, possibly a second sinkhole?

there’s the wonder wharf mascot, and a dude who is on the poster that i do not recognize in the slightest. he could be a wonder wharf employee...

bob and linda kinda look like they’re up on a rooftop here (compare the height of whatever they’re resting their hands on to the roof of the brown building in the background. this could be them hiding from the people chasing them earlier in the trailer (same outfits and location!)

based on the dancing, the rvs in the background, and the pool full of rubber ducks, i’m thinking this is a musical number taking place at the mobile home park we saw a bit in the first trailer.

my buddy jj said they think this is also a musical number and i agree. it just makes sense

this could literally happen at any point in the movie because zeke loves tackling jimmy jr. also we can tell this isn’t in tina’s friend fiction because everyone’s wearing pants

linda punched bob in the dick. he’s gonna need to construct a new one out of hamburger meat

they’re TOTALLY sneaking into felix’s treehouse and while i thought louise was ziplining down the cables, now i’m thinking she’s just pulling them to move the basket lift thing closer to the treehouse like normal.

more of the concert robot that i’m guessing is from gene’s imagination :D

the food cart isn’t working correctly...maybe they have the same problem later but they’re at wonder wharf and something happens that pisses people off, leading to the chase. this is probably before that since linda isn’t dressed as a sexy burger yet. also teddy wrote “bob burger”, nice continuity from him thinking the belchers’ last name is burger (s3e15, s9e8, s10e9, probably a couple other times i’m forgetting at the moment).

there’s gene with his napkin dispenser/spoon contraption again. i love it

i wonder if tina’s frustrated with her writing because of jimmy jr. falling into a booth at wonder wharf? maybe she’s writing what she fears instead of what she wants...

last two caps and bob is talking to a burger, perhaps because he’s dejected from the bank meeting and/or the sinkhole. the kids snark at him. this looks like the same scene as when tina says “big things are happening” in the first trailer, based on gene’s backpack being on the counter in the exact same position.

WEW that took a while and i could have been working on college stuff but this was way more fun lmfao

it was 8:56 am. four minutes till work officially starts. you and Jim decided to take the stairs instead of the elevator. you tell yourself its to change it up a bit, get a bit of exercise, but who are you kidding? you just took the stairs to more time to talk to each other before you have to go sell paper and printers for the next several hours.

you giggle and smile shyly up at Jim as he opens the office door for you, he smiles at the back of your head and tells you with a chuckle, “okay, yeah, laugh it up sweetheart. i’m not the only one to ever trip while going up the stairs. in fact didn’t you so the exact same thing on halloween?”

you gasped, “Jimmothy, i thought we agreed to never speak of that, besides that you your fault, you were so eager to get in my pants that you wouldn’t let my go for like 30 seconds so i could walk up the stairs.”

Jim hummed,”whatever makes you sleep at night.”

you smiled at Erin as you passed her at the reception desk.

“hey girly.” you smiled and winked at your friend and co-worker Pam as you passed her while walking Jim to his desk.

“Hey (y/n/n)” Jim responded. Pam glanced at Jim and then you with a half smile.

“woah, Pam, your voice… do like some water or something?” you asked looking at her with a smile.

she hid a laugh and fake cleared her throat, “no i think it was just a frog in my throat.” her phone rang and she smiled at you with that twinkle in her eye and picked up her phone.

you took that as an opportunity to lean down and press a kiss to Jim’s forehead, which was now accessible with him being seated in his swivel chair.

“oh, by the way, remember when you broke our blood oath-”

“-there was no blood, but go on”

“our oath that neither of us would bring up my tripping up the stairs incident, i’m going to steal all of your biggest clients.”

“oh really, cause of i remember correctly, i am better than you,” Jim teased back with a smirk. doing that short pause between each word Jim type of way.

“is that what your parents tell you?”

“nah, they usually tell me i’m a mistake.”

“your patents tell you that too? good cause mine say the same thing about you.

“anywho, imma go back to my desk, but not before i ask my main man Dwight K. Schrute how his weekend was!” you said and put your hand on Dwight’s shoulder, that he immediately shook off.

“(y/n) i do not need to be bothered by unnecessary questions about my free time, that is my business and my business alone. besides, i have bigger things to deal with.” ah, you could just hear Michael say, ‘that’s what she said’..

“and what’s that Dwight?” Jim asked shifting his gaze from you to the beet farmer in question.

“i have a man who wants to buy beets from my beet farm, not that you need to know that”

you and Jim smiled at each other, though your’s was slightly bashful- it always amazes you how Jim can make you so shy and melt into a puddle of goo with just one look, even after years of being together.

you walked to your desk deciding it was time to get started on your work.

11:45, your first out of two breaks, this one and lunch at 1:00.

you picked up your mug and and went to the break room get another up of coffee.

“Drink anymore of that and you’ll be up all night, causing me to be up all night because when you can’t sleep all you talk about how proud of your sister you are, i get it, your proud that she’s married and had a kid, but i don’t need to hear that at 3:20 in the morning,” Jim said as he walked in, sat his empty mug by the coffee maker, and leant against the counter beside you with his arms crossed.

“okay mister, that was only a couple of times, and i am proud of her, it’s like she’s a little adult.”

“’little adult’?”

“Yes, she is only 21 and she has a husband and a kid, but only 21, so little.”

“M’kay, whatever you say. now hurry up, you take centuries to make your coffee.”

unbeknownst to you, Jim looked around making sure no one was around and jogged to close the blinds to the main work area. he strolled back to you and wrapped his arms around your waist and nuzzled his face into the crook of your neck and let out a puff of air.

although this was overwhelmingly adorable, it was out of character of Jim at the work place.

“have you considered space?” you teased

Jim let out a small puff of air out of his nose as a laugh / response to your teasing, “actually, i don’t think i have, do you think there’s a dictionary somewhere i could look up that definition?”

“yeah, actually, i bet Oscar has one you could use, it would be under the ‘s’ as in space.” you turned your head slightly to put your nose is his hair to hide your smile.

“i suppose we should get back to work..” Jim trailed off.

you sighed, all you wanted to do was be at your house and cuddled up in bed and maybe have some hot chocolate with Jim, perhaps watch some “Parks and Recreation” but that will just have to wait for several more hours.

he slowly unwound his arms from around your waist, you turned to him and grabbed his mug filling it with the fresh coffee and then your mug. you both walked back to your desks, Jim kissing the top of your head head once you had sat down on your chair.

ahh, 5:00, quittin’ time, second best time of the day. everyone around you started packing up, you grabbed your purse and started putting the small pile of paperwork you had to finish tonight.

you stood up and walked over to Jim, he was putting on his coat and grabbing his brief case, he pushed in his chair and held out his hand for you to grab.

“so how was the rest of your wok day?”

“well, i got Dwight annoyed to the point he went to Michael to complain about me again then Michael told him to go to Toby, who wouldn’t let him file a complaint, then he came back just made of rage… so i’d say it was a successful day.”

you smiled, “well, lets get goin’, bye, Michael!”

“bye bye, catch ya tomorrow, Jim, (y/n)”

you rode down in the elevator and walked out into the parking lot and to your car.

“okay, so who’s gonna be driving back home?” Jim asked.

“rock, paper, scissors?”

“okie dokie, let’s go,”

“rock, paper, scissors, shoot.”

“damn, i didn’t wanna drive,” you said while slumping your shoulders

“ahh, too bad, maybe you should practice your skills, cause clearly, as stated before, perhaps i’m better than you, just perhaps.”

you both got in the car and you put the car in the ignition and backed out and started the drive back to your house.

you parked the car out in the drive way.

you both walked hand-in-hand up to the front door. as you got in the house you took off your coats.

“so what do you wanna do you want to do for dinner?” you asked/

“pizza?”

“sounds like a plan.”

Hotaru (first draft is finished)

- Abt two men that are linked through a surgery called “synchronisation”, which basically connects their minds and bodies, so they are forced to work as a team. Ea is an ex-soldier and Cain was a hacker, but due to the fact that they can’t stand each other, they also didn’t share their pasts with each other. To pay someone to unlink them, they become bounty hunters and kidnap the girl Ai and her robot Subaru, which is one of the old military robots, called Hotarus (high technologised, operating, transforming, artificial intelligence, ranger units). They are connected to a human ranger and can transform into what the ranger wants them to transform into.

The Hotaru headquarters exploded 10 years ago and since then the Hotarus are super rare on the black market.

The two men plan on selling both the girl and her robot and let’s just say it all doesn’t work out that well.

The day the world turned white ( first draft is finished, working on it)

To stop global warming some scientists basically caused a new ice age. On the long run this might be very effective but the former countries, now sectors, are hit by strong ice storms, called snow white. To stay safe huge bunkers, the Safe Cities, were built and the local fauna and flora were stored in Arks, to preserve them.

Usually an alarm sounds before all citizens are brought into the SCs, but this time Reese and her best friend Yuki dont manage to get to the vehicles on time and are left behind. They seek shelter in a private bunker outside of town that Yuki found out about recently. Suddenly a group of boys their age knocks on the door, because they were also left behind and followed the girls.

Al, the brothers Eli and Isaac, Gil and Henry become the new bunker-mates and the group has to survive one year in the bunker, until the storm is over.

Indigo ( haven’t written it yet and i don’t know if i ever will, but have drawn stuff. I lowkey wanna see this as a comic)

A story abt a clan of shapeshifters, called Indigos. They are basically human that can shift into dolphins and their clan lives on an island near Australia. Its a modern story and the gang consisting of our local gay dolphin girl Keerie, her cousins Akash and Arjuun (younger brother, older sis), and Ky ( adopted as a child, japanese heritage, a different breed of dolphin idk) lives their “normal lives” with lots of shenenigans and drama.

To be honest, the concept had and still has a lot of potential and we just hadn’t the opportunities to rly set it the way we anticipated. The shooting day was super fun, though! Still laughing about the outtakes

Astral Chronicles (some art and a few chapters, unfinished)

A story Idea i still like but probably wont write like this because of copyright problems. Its basically a giant Crossover.

Its abt people who have an Astral( mostly a literature figure) they embody when they are dreaming. Their body stays in bed and is vulnerable but the Astral can basivally run around and has special powers. If the Astral dies, the person wakes up but i think when the body dies the person dies too? idk.

The Protagonist embodies Alice and there are also the White Rabbit, Peter Pan, Tinkerbell usw.

There was also some kind of conflict? I dont remember.

If i would ever rewrite it the Astrals would be embodiments of the Zodiac signs.

HI thank you so much ;-; sooooo i’ve been thinking about this question the past couple of times i went in game, trying to figure out how to describe how i take pictures. for one thing i live in tab mode lmao. meaning you press the tab button on your keyboard to go into camera mode and get all these sexy angles and super zoom and stufffff. i almost always zoom in super far idk why. so there’s one tip. i honestly just play around with going up and down with the q and e keys (i think?) until i find angles i like. i take a lottttt of pictures with so many different angles just so i have a lot to choose from. basically i try to focus on different things in each picture in order to get a mix of the most diverse and dynamic shots possible. you just need to experiment and get creative. i know that’s the most vague advice ever but really just try a new angle that you’ve never considered before and i bet you’ll get cool results. an interesting setting is also the biggest factor, because certain objects and their placements will give you interesting results.

i honestly want to print out your reaction pic to that one post and just hang it on my wall, put it in my heart locket necklace, stamp it on people's faces, start an email thread with it. i love it.

how do you get your sims' facial expressions to line up with your scenes? I feel like my sims' faces are never right :(

tbh i just use a lot of the same neutral poses...my go-to’s are @helgatisha‘s poses lol. they’re the easiest to work with when i do just plain talking scenes, and often i tweak my sims’ eyebrows and mouths with the liquify tool if i want them to look a bit more concerned, sad, mad, happy, etc., it works like a charm!! i also tend to play around with angles, you’d be surprised how much a different angle can enhance a scene.

1. How did you learn to edit pictures?

hmmmm. mostly by reading about other peoples processes, watching speed edits, etc. then once i got photoshop, and took my class on it in uni, i started playing around with stuff myself and experimenting. still a WIP lol.

2. Whats your aesthetic in your opinion?

man, i feel like i don’t have one lol. oh well!

3. Who are your inspirations when it comes to editing?

pretty much everyone i follow :D similar to my inspiration for writing, anytime something catches my eye that someone does, i take note :)

5. Who is your least favourite character you’ve made?

ooooooh. hm. either steven or peter lol. steven was significantly more useless of a character. i bet like 90% of people don’t even know who he is LOL. i put him in the story for a certain reason, but then never did that plot idea, but he kinda stuck around for a bit lol idk.

7. What causes you to feel uninspired?

being busy. :( or if i run into a road block with my plot. but mostly just not having enough time to work on it. i 100% love my story, and i never just completely DONT want to write it lol.

8. Is there anything you look for when browsing for simblr stories to read?

there is actually a lot i look for LOL. i still follow lots of people who dont do all these things, but if i find one that does, you’re def getting a follow :D i typically look for story-based stuff, with a decent amount of writing thats not too short or too long, decent editing/photos, and anything that’s really different from what i’ve already seen! stories of different genres, etc. :) and i looove really cinematic style posting, as well.

9. Do you have any storytelling pet peeves?

for myself or others? i hate plot holes, obviously lol. this goes for myself and others. more so for myself tho, tbh. im more forgiving for other people, hah! and relying on cliches. bad character development.

10. Who are your five favourite characters and why?

Elliot, Clementine, Sonia, Violet and Levi :) they’re MY MAINS

11. What do you do really well (storytelling wise)?

i have been told i write really realistic dialogue, and that i have really good character development! :) i tend to agree with both of those. my stories are very character driven, and i try my best to make them feel super real and believable.

14. Do you have a dark or more light-hearted writing style in your opinion?

i think i tend to darker writing? my writing itself is light i think. but the topics i write about tend to be more emotionally driven. i have some plans to play around with some darker story lines in the future, both with my legacy and area 27, so we’ll see how that one goes.

15. Are there any topics you’d like to write about in the future?

yes so many!!! like so many. i want to do another history challenge one day, bc i always have the best historical plots. or just a historical short story in general. i want to venture more into the pseudo-post-apocalyptic theme with area 27. and i want to touch on more issues in life besides just romantic drama, which is what i have mostly covered so far in my legacy, i p much wanna be old school degrassi??? “it goes there”. lmao.

we finished the hunter exam arc???? i THNK? lmaoooo at the end of the ep (21 i thiiiiink) we were on, satotz was like BUT THE HUNTER EXAM ISNT EVEN OVER YET or w/e lol aigh??? whats up w/that

anyways a lot happened in the last few eps that we watched....man i shouldve written this earlier but i litrelly havent been online. anyways

so during the hunter exam stage 4...gon is literally perfect (as i always have to say), him reuniting w/leorio and kurapika was rlly sweet :’)

of course he immediately offered to help....goodest boy

and wow that kid has such a powerful nose bvhjksfbjsk he rlly be a gr8 sniffer

ok literally the part where leorio was in the cave and was like GON KURAPIKA DONT COME IN HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and they both full speed sprint into the cave with 0 hesitation.....we love a 0 brain cells family

i love leorio so much he really just b running around w/a switchblade and a breifcase, both of which he barely used during the exam lmao

so bummed that leorio slicing up tht snake happened offscreen. how tf did that even work, he doesnt have a goddamn sword

gon just being able to hold his breath for almost 10 mins makes so much sense somehow...he rlly is one of those shounen protags who is just casually a ridiculous human being and doesnt even fully realize that its weird

that shot of him carrying everyone out of the cave was so sweet

and of course gon vs snakes....hes so perfect....he trusts his friends so much :’)

also random aside but im so glad tonpa is out and idk if i talked abt this in my prev post but i feel like in most shounen he wouldve been like, so inspired by gons shounen protag energy that he wouldve changed his tune and taken the exam genuinely and either passed or declared that hed definitely pass next year - but no, he was awful til the end, this aint that kind of story (yet...?)

have i mentioned that i hate hisoka? cause i hate hisoka. nasty ass crusty clown bitch

what else happened in the phase 4 stuff. oh yeah killua clowned on those triplet dudes (and hanzo lowkey), which was great

ok the opening not having changed this whole time is so funny. imagine if it never changed and its still basic and cheery when everything gets crazy and dark lmao

ooh my god i forgot to mention this last time but i feel like gons backpack is full of hair gel and hair gel ONLY, he only brought hair gel and his fishing rod. this is canon ty

oh gosh when killua and gon reunited at the end of the 4th stage....OOOUGH so precious...those two are so cute god. i want a compilation of their cute moments together i hope that exists

GOD OH FUCK the scene on the airship where kurapika and gon talked bc gon was clearly bothered by something (what happened w/hisoka obvs. i hate that clown bitch) and OUGHHHH OH GOD gon crying LICHRALLY killed me oh man :( i was literally just chanting NO NO NO!!!! at the TV cause seeing tiny baby boy upset was so sad....and ik it gets soooo much worse oh god i cant handle it

the whole convo was really good and really anti-shounen (once again...feel like thatll be a theme lmao) bc like, it was a healthy convo where gon talked honestly abt his feelings instead of using some shounen protag BS phrases like ‘it doesnt matter!!! ill be stronger next time!!!’ or w/e....and kurapika is a such a good parent oh man :(

again, cant get over how genuine and uncomplicated the teamup of the main 4 characters has been....literally no ‘we’re competing and only teaming up for convenience/the hunter exam comes before our friendship’ nonsense

the interviews w/the candidates was interesting! i love how the old dude was SO not picking up what Creepy Hisoka was putting down lmaooooo

that poor old guy lmao he seems like a decent dude, he was like oh i dont wanna fight gon and killua cause theyre kids,....RIP u red shirt legend

the bracket setup was so interesting oh man....very funky and creative. and then it wasnt really fully utilized lol, i feel like thats indicative of a bigger patten - hxh so far has been really creative and interesting, and clearly uninterested in setting things up simply to check off boxes on a shounen tropes checklist....i can already see what makes it so great if this keeps up bc daym, so many shounen have their interesting themes drowned out by the overwhelming necessity for the plot to hit certain shounen story beats, smothering otherwise new/fresh ideas and rerouting them back into the same old over-trodden shounen trope territory

on a meta level, i wonder if the author was like, allowed more leniency (’do whatever bro’) bc hed already been successful w/yu yu hakusho. i havent seen/ready yyh so idk how ‘typically shounen’ it is but thats st that im curious about

aaanyways. the tournament starts w/hanzo beating up gon for THREE HOURS STRAIGHT. jesus dude. so yeah obviously leorio and kurapika are the best parents ever and them getting so righteously angry over seeing this happen to gon is so heartwarming and good and also a big big mood

they love their son okay. also that was fucked up. ALSO i find it interesting that thats only the second time we’ve seen kurapikas eyes turn red

i bet that hisoka saw that also and somethign something phantom troupe, see bottom of post in predictions section

seeing gon get beat up like that made my heart hurt :( especially when hanzo broke his arm...oof.

god also i cant believe hanzo is 18 hes literally bald hvbhjafbjs whats w/hxh and making everyone a teen or younger lmao god

also omfg i love that leorio and kurapika are lichreally 19 and already have kids wow thats amazing especially considering their kids are 12. its so funny that theyre such Parents already considering that the age gap is kinda hilariously small, espec bc i thought that they (mostly leorio) were a lot older at first lmao

the fact that gon gets to win that fight against hanzo was a legit shock to me....again, anti-shounen. we’d normally want to see what our protag can do in a fight - espec in a tournament-style arc where the consequences arent as high typically - so we’d want him to go further, which is easy here bc to move on he has to lose, which is easy bc gon is a baby w/no offensive capabilities (that we’ve seen)

god ive talked abt this already but its so fascinating how we havent really had any full-on fights???? espec w/the main 4 characters????? we still barely know what they can do....WE STILL HAVENT BEEN INTRODUCED TO NEN????

ive been spoiled (i guess?) to the existence of nen but thats abt it. what can it do? what is it? fuck if i know lmao. so i could totally see them pulling a ‘we were using nen the whole time’ w/like hisoka or st, OR a ‘YOU were using nen the whole time w/out realizing it’ w/gon

ok anyways. that hanzo fight was rough but also gon is literally the best. he was trying to bargain w/hanzo to figure out a way where they could come to a conclusion that would satisfy them both - despite hanzo clearly outmatching gon in skill, so the effort on hanzo’s part would be pointless and simply for gon’s benefit....basically the entire proposal sound ludicris and insulting to suggest (or st, idk how to phrase it), but since its gon of COURSE he only has the purest of intentions and means it so genuinely that you cant even be mad at him

hanzo just knocking him out lmaoooo and then hes just out for the rest of the tournament???? thats so wild and...whatdya know....un-shounen!

then he wakes up n his lil x-shaped forehead bandage....ough so cute

also the whole convo he and satotz had abt gon’s victory and hunter license and earning/deserving it was so good :’)

also i feel like the show did a good job of humanizing characters like satotz. i legit thought he was a robot or st at first but it feels more like hes just A Guy now,....albeit a weird guy, but thats to be expected. its like, yeah this guy also took the hunter exam at one point, wow.

anways this is already long and i havent even gotten to the killua stuff yet lol so im gonna stop here for now. and introducing a new segment..........the prediction corner! where i dump my speculations/predictions, entirely for my future self’s benefit

PREDICTIONS:

first off as i alluded to above, i think that hisoka has some sort of connection to the phantom troupe (does he know them? maybe not, but he knows where to find them? idk) and when he saw kurapikas red eyes, was able to figure out that whole deal and said st to kurapika during that fight like ‘hey i can help you find the phantom troupe if you want :))))’

i kinda said this earlier but i predict that kurapika might get really wrapped up in revenge and go off the rails a bit. we’ll see, so far that hasnt really happened, but for some reason i kinda think that it will? we’ll see

i (incorrectly) predicted that killua would have known that illumi was there the whole time, considering that he was able to noticing the hunter exam dudes following him in phase 4, etc....but BOY was i wrong about that oof

iiii think that the whole ‘the hunter exam isnt over yet!!!’ stuff will be an opportunity for killua to pass this year still, maybe? idk abt that tho

i have more predictions but i forgot :( also some of them are more relevant to the next few eps ill make a post on

Hello and welcome everyone to Comic Tea Party’s Week Long Book Club~! This week we’ll be focusing on Super Galaxy Knights Deluxe R by snuffysam~! (http://sgkdr.thecomicseries.com/comics/)

You are free to read and comment about the comic all week at your own pace, so stop on by whenever it suits your schedule! Remember, though, that while we allow constructive criticism, our focus is to have fun and appreciate the comic. Below you will find four questions to get you started on the discussion. Okay, so I haven't actually gotten to reading this comic yet-- just started like... right now. But OMG. XDDDDDD I'm loving how they're breaking the fourth wall and poking fun at stuff. My favorite scene so far is this one:

I really like the guard so far, though I have absolutely no idea if he'll ever appear again seeing as I'm still in the first chapter. ;v;

The fact that he makes fourth wall breaking remarks is what sort of sold me. If he doesn't appear again, hopefully someone else along with the main character will make better jokes that will sell me good.

I love that it’s not perfect, and this is not an insult. My favourite character so far is the guy who sliced that squid in half he seems like a boss

It’s also amazing to see how far the author has come in their art, I looked at the original pages a bit.

anyway yeah i wrote a shader script for blender to do the lighting properly. took me a couple years to figure it out but i got there eventually lol

a lot of stuff is drawn in with photoshop. and i think i just recently passed the point where more than half the comic is CG as opposed to being drawn.

QUESTION 5. Who exactly are/were the Galaxy Knights? How did they come to be, and what goals did they have? Do you think we’ll see more former or current members? Also, what are your theories about their involvement in the story given they’re in the title?

1) it's still the end fight of book 1. which i wont go into too much detail cause i dont want to spoil for those just starting up. but i still love the entire choreography of that fight. seeing mizuki solve everything in the most unconvenentional ways possible is so immensely fulfilling. 2) cahe's mustache. i cant wait till it gets fed up with cahe, rips itself off his face, and joins mizuki to fight the good fight. (but also probably electric zebra because he believes in the power of love) 3) there's too many jokes to name. theres a lot of great ones. although one of my favorite more recent ones has actually been a callback to the fact that cahe never names his village. and lo and behold his village is revealed to be unnamed village. i was slain by the joke. 4) i think eventually mizuki will discover her own thing. but at the same time i dont think thatll stop her from using others' abilities cause i think she turns what others view as a weakness into a strength. so basically mizuki will just have more ammo for her mind magic arsenal. 5) i mean the obvious answer is that they were protectors of ppl and that mizuki is gonna join them. but idk. i def think were gonna see more former and current members though given the title. and mizuki will thrash them all with the power of stealing their abilities and stubbornness. in the end, there is only one super galaxy knight deluxe and that person is mizuki. lets not ask what the r stands for.

like in the weekly chat back in may one of the questions was "what is the plot of book 2"

not saying which of the questions you asked will be answered in a month but just overall, it's an impressive skill lol

and yeah chapter 8 is my favorite arc in hindsight. i'm not sure i'll actually manage to out-do the 1v1 fight choreography there for a while.

I have to admit, I'm really enjoying the current fight scene. The banter's top notch. >:3 Dramatic text meets no-nonsense. Now give Mizuki that damn generator so she can win the talent show!

QUESTION 6. Why do you think Mizuki drifted apart from Cahe and Pejiba so much between Books 1 & 2? Why did the couple not invite Mizuki to their own wedding? Will Cahe and Pejiba make a comeback, or are they settled down into domesticity forever?

the outfit in chapter 4 is a reference to how in the original short film i made that this comic is based off, her actor decided to wear the jacket with no shirt (which is not something i, like, wanted or expected)

QUESTION 7. Do you think we’ll see Gynu and Suzigu in Book 2? If so, do you think they have one of the power gems Mizuki needs? Will they give it to her? Alternatively, what other places or characters might reappear do you think, and how will things have changed?

QUESTION 8. Why do you think King Zebugu closed the magic portal? Is he up to something evil, or did he actually turn over a new leaf and is trying to do something helpful that he just won’t explain? Will he succeed or will Mizuki defeat him do you think?

7) I think we'll see Gynu and Suzigu probably. Although I feel Mizuki might be at a disadvantage since they already lost to her. so now they know what he game is or something like that. and i dont think theyre gonna just give her the gem given the whole food fiasco and i kind of get this sense they want to test her? as for other characters, i hope we get to see our favorite immortal captain again. and electric zebra. electric zebra needs to come and sing about the power of love and all that. or at least be on tour and give mizuki a signed cd. 8) i feel hes not doing the evil, but i feel whatever the king is up to probably is dumb at least. maybe this is an elaborate prank from the wizard guy who is mad about having to put all the food back. he gave the king the wrong prophecy and now the king is trying to undoom the world. at the end mizuki will win, but winning might not matter. i think shell lose the talent competition tho. shell make it back in time but get disqualified over something trivial. like misspelling something on the contest form.

something worth pointing out about both those answers - in book 1, nobody knew what zebugu was up to except for the people in the castle (and the ancestral tree, cause of the omniscience). people like gynu and suzigu wouldn't have agreed with zebugu if they had known what he was doing. in book 2, zebugu has roped other people into his plan by giving them a gem to protect. zaxaty knew what her brother did, and so did the ancestral tree (being specifically instructed by the king to guard the gem and not tell mizuki the reason why). even taci ramino knew that the portal had been turned off, and zebugu didn't even give him a gem! so if gynu and suzigu do have a gem, what did king zebugu say to them to get them on board? and was he truthful to them, or is this all an elaborate ruse?

the fact hes roped other ppl into it makes me believe that it is for the greater good. but on the otherhand blackmail and bribery are also options. maybe zebugu has an embarrassing photo of gynu from their last xmas party.

QUESTION 9. Do you think Mizuki will be able to win against Sword Warrior? Do you think Sword Warrior could be a potential ally, or is he just a one-off villain? What are Sword Warriors actual goals?

Okay, so, obviously the baby isn't theirs, unless gestational periods are really short or there was time travel hijinks. My money is on them looking after Zebra's kid, in exchange for him performing at the wedding. That's why they got him on short notice, for free. Though adoption's also possible.

Clever plot twist in the most recent pages. I did not see that coming. I actually thought Taci had lied about getting one of the gems because he was embarrassed that the Swordsman had already stolen it.

Also, magic can be used to change dialogue into cursive, or something.

-Scene-wise is tough, I don't even recall what I said last time. ^_^; The fight against the king was pretty epic though. Character-wise, I like Pejiba. Just something about her I guess, helpful, first major magic user, that kind of thing.

-Like Rebel, I'm not sure about grabbing any particular comedic moments. The stuff with the tree is pretty good though. Even more recently with the 'I am a jerk but that's not the reason' sort of thing. Also, used firewood...? O.o

-I dunno, stealing the powers of others can be a power itself, see Rogue from X-Men. Plus I think Mizuki'd be worried that once she finds her own, she'll lose the ability to copy everyone else.

-The Galaxy Knights are actually a bunch of mathematicians, that's why the King's advisor is one (if memory serves). Seriously though, I like how they were just randomly brought up recently. It's kind of like they're their own story running in parallel somewhere else. (Which isn't too far off, Gynu and them were in a guest comic series elsewhere, I think.)

Actually, it's impressive the number of guest comics and literary tie-ins that exist.

-Since only, like, a week passed between Books, idk. Maybe Cahe was given bad information, or their messages were cut off. Though the whole wedding seems like a rush job because honeymoon in an all female hotel what now? I feel like they'll still have cameos.

-Hoping we'll see Zaxaty again. That blush had to mean something. (Also, back to comedy, "Get out of my house", hah.)

-The King's probably doing this as some sort of test, like to see if Mizuki can be a new governor or something. After all, he seemed okay with how she spared him. Alternatively, the Galaxy Knights wanted him to do this, so that they could test for new recruits.

-Related to that answer is the possible answer to snuffy asking about what Gynu might have been told if he has a gem. All in a day's work. (Though a photo would be amusing.)

-Sword Warrior will be useful in terms of giving Mizuki many more magic ideas to steal. (Also, since he can make his own swords, I don't think Mizuki will win that way. Maybe she can get him to zip off the edge of a building.) I think Taci just has a thing for vigilantes.

to respond to some of your things specifically - - the advisor is a statistician, which... i guess is a mathematician? usually when i think "mathematician" i think of people who write proofs for really difficult problems and not, like, nate silver. also, the wizard is a magic researcher, so he does a lot of math for his work. i guess the active galaxy knights are pretty math-y, except for that third as-of-yet-unnamed active galaxy knight that's shown up. -yeah the wedding was very much a rush job. zuzu was already a member of the family by the time cahe and pejiba were on their honeymoon. -we'll see zaxaty again sooner than you expect. and yeah, there's something there. blushes don't lie. (fun fact: the fight against zaxaty was originally going to be the first time in the comic it's implied that mizuki is into women. when drawing book 1 chapter 6, i changed my mind and worked a love triangle plot into the story. that's the main reason why mizuki never says anything to pejiba about being interested - because it's not in the script. that's also part of the reason why zaxaty's island is "lesbos 2: sappho harder". the timeline for making the comic gay got moved way up, so zaxaty had to be a bit over the top) -won't say much else here, but i like that people's impressions seem to be that zebugu's plot might be morally dubious, but maybe not exactly evil. we'll see how that pans out. -if he had the chance, taci would absolutely start dating sword warrior. he's totally into the tall, slender, vigilante crime-fighter type. (which may lead to some butting of heads down the line...)(edited)

That's very cool... both about having Zaxaty in mind so early on, and for managing to foreshadow Mizuki's interests. Also, I don't know that Zaxaty was necessarily over the top (I didn't see a harem), though she does seem to like putting her interests (frustrations?) into her artwork.

As to Zebugu's plot not being evil, it allows for a scene where Mizuki goes off on him and him having some sort of retort. Even if it is to defer to the wizard or something. (Hey, maybe the wizard wanted all magic off so that no one would know that he was on sabbatical.)

it would be nice if zebugu gave his wizard a vacation, considering that he was kind of a jerk to the guy in the first book

QUESTION 10. What are you most looking forward to in the comic? Also, do you have any final thoughts to share overall?

one thing i'm really looking forward to as the author is creating book 3. i think it'll answer a lot of your questions about the series, and there will be a bunch of character interactions that I know people will want to see

What I'm looking forward to is seeing the creator update all the pages into the 3d model style! <333 Although, I gotta say I really do enjoy seeing the hand drawn pages too. ;V; I'm still behind in reading, but hopefully when I have time, Imma try to get through more pages. But what I've seen, I've liked and enjoyed immensely!

But can I just say, I love how crazy and silly everything has been so far? XDDD Thanks to this discussion, I found this gem and ended up sharing it with a friend of mine. And they loved the golden comedy too! (Not to mention they're favorite scene was the tree saying they were a jerk as well. O v Obbb)

And I'd also like to commend the fact that the creator has been able to power through and draw so much content (not to mention reworking those pages into new ones. OMG!) OAO!!! As an artist myself, I know how much work it is to get to the number of pages I am now. @mathtans i originally planned on one of the galaxy knights being a giant cyclops (in a future book), but i ended up writing him out.

"marries a killer cyborg" is definitely in there for one of the zuzus, but i'm not sure about being a galaxy knight

It’s never too late to be dope as shit!

So i have moved from the rural elephant village to Siem Reap, Cambodia. The change was quick and now I am waking up to the noises of cars, rather than dogs barking and roosters doing whatever the hell it is they do at 4 in the morning! Most people seem to be surprised that I moved and my response to that is “fuck it”. Yes, that is what I thought when i was offered the job and how I feel about most of my decisions lately. The stress of putting so much pressure on certain decisions is bull shit. Worst case, it doesn’t work out and you learn from it and Move on. That is what I am trying to do lately. Say fuck it (obviously not to things like getting a tattoo on my forehead) and try not to worry about how this decision can impact my whole life...i mean, I know it will but that’s just something i dont wanna think about! So here is where i lead into something thought provoking... i was watching this movie called The Revolutionary Road, starring Leo and his side kick Kate winslet. The main reason i picked it was because they were so great in Titanic, so this must be a good one too. The main thing that I got from the movie was, that Kate’s character was tired of their ordinary, mundane suburban lifestyle, so she proposed an idea to her husband, Leo’s character, that they move to Paris and he can chase after his dreams...whatever those may be. He hated his job and she was bored of being at home taking care of the kids so she wanted to change their happiness. They started down the path of planning it but life got in the way. He got a promotion, she got pregnant and he said that they should stay and become happy there. In the end, she killed her self...aside from the death, I found this movie interesting. Some things may seem daugnting or unattainable but really it’s just ourselves listening to the possibility of failure. Everyone is afraid and that fear turns to doubt and then doubt turns to backing down. This is what happens to many people in their lives. Self doubt. I recon that we have let fear control our lives a little too much. So go slap fear right in the face and give it the middle finger! Take the leap of faith, pull the trigger, be bold and go for it. It wont be easy but you will pass the hard part and this wonderful thing of achievement will happen. Your mood will change, your outlook on life will change and the outlook on yourself will change. Bet on yourself cause guaranteed you are fucking awesome!

Alright, so i went on a little tourist day with my friend Claire and her brother who was visiting. We went to the floating village and it was pretty amazing. These people have created their lives out here on the water. Aside from the amazing views, i was absolutely shocked by the amount of rubbish everywhere! I couldn’t believe how much there was and that no one was making efforts to improve it. The source of the issue is access to it but really its how god damn convenient plastic has made itself. If you go to the super market, just notice how much plastic is there. You will be shocked by it and hopefully will be as disgusted by it as me! So i am on this new kick to try to reuse as much as i can. Sometimes plastic is unavoidable so here is what i have done....i got crafty! I found an old dress and made a reusable bag from it for fruit and veggies when i got to the store! I sewed the bag and then used a plastic bag as the draw string handle. Now, my next goal is to sell these bags and donate the proceeds to an organization helping fix the issue of plastic consumption here in Siem reap. I have not put a patent on these and encourage everyone to find creative ways to minimize their consumption of this shitty thing that is taking over our planet, Iliterally! Here is a photo of the first one and the floating village! Little changes make a huge difference :)

And lastly, to my thai family. I want to thank you for showing me your culture. Letting me be me and accepting it. Showing me parts of your life, allowing me to question things and ultimately having me fall in love with your country. My final day was an emotional one and the traditional thai blessing was something i will never forget. So please tell yay Koh i miss her adorable smile and grandma hugs, give my dogs some extra scratches, and please say hi to the elephants! I miss you very much and hope that you read this blog post since i have made a special shout out to you! Haha You all are amazing people and i will see you again someday.
