I don’t know why but it irks me how Hiyori’s scarf is something so important to Shin, and then you meet Hiyori and he’s wearing a scarf that looks exactly the same

because of course he is. he’s probably rich, he can have as many identical pieces of clothing as he wants. the one Shin ended up wearing probably wasn’t even that important to him.

but that scarf still reminded Shin of Hiyori, it still stuck with him, it still made him feel less lonely. Shin’s appearance changed because of how much Hiyori’s disappearance affected him. Hiyori’s appearance didn’t change because of how much the whole thing didn’t affect him (at least not as much). he knew they’d still meet eventually, so he didn’t have as many reasons to miss Shin. plus he just had so much left of Shin - all the photos, the data ASU-NARO gathered about him, even a near-perfect replica of him in his office. but Shin just had the scarf.

I would have liked to see more of Mordred and Gwaine’s relationship, since they seemed very close. I’m one to think that Gwaine would have taken Mordred under his wing (to the surprise of the other knights) and would have become like an older brother/father figure to Mordred.

Protecting him and his magic. I’m basing this off of the fact that when Mordred was asking Arthur to spare Kara and his lives, Gwaine was the first knight he turned to, basically begging Gwaine for help, and out of all of them, Gwaine looked the most conflicted. Both look betrayed by the other. I think Gwaine would have felt responsible for not helping Mordred, and it haunted his mind somewhat, thinking back with regret.

Maybe that’s part of the reason he’d have gone after Morgana, wanting to take revenge on her for what she did to Camelot and the people, and also for guiding Mordred to the wrong path.
