I absolutely hate running. I hate it so much, the very thought of it makes me want to crawl back in bed and never leave my bed. Hence, I run every day, at 1.30 AM or 4 AM - come rain, hail, or shine. - You read that right, I repeatedly perform the activity day after day that I hate the most. Because, as much as I hate it - it is the only time and activity where I have no choice but to entirely focus on my body and mind to keep myself balanced, distraction free and push my own limits to fight a battle and win it, day after day. - Running is not just about physical fitness for me. It is about mind over matter. It is about pushing myself to overcome self-sabotage. It is about proving to myself that nothing will stop me from achieving what I want to. It is about disconnecting from the noise and completely focusing on myself. It is the only activity that I can understand as a meditation as my entire focus is on my deeper goals by bringing my mind, body, heart and courage into one team of resources that has a single goal - complete the run without falling or failing because the reward is self-love, a sense of pride, a feeling of accomplishment like none other. - Every day, do at least one activity you despise the most that makes you stronger physically, mentally, and emotionally and makes you more resilient than the day before because our growth only happens when we step out of our comfort and preference zone. See how it changes the rest of your day for better, because you begin with a sense of having the strength to overcome an obstacle and come out victorious. As I always say, 'Success does not live in your comfort zone' and trust me, it does not. “The other day I read something that referenced both @menshealthmag and @womenshealthmag and I thought, ‘But, what if you’re neither? Or both?’ And as luck would have it, @themshealth was not yet taken, so here we have it. Right now I envision this as a place for resources, inspiration, visibility, and discussion around wellness for the non-binary. The six categories I see for this are: fitness, nutrition, mental health, sexuality, bodily health, and identity. I can’t (and tbh shouldn’t) do this alone, so if you’d like to be involved in the curation of this account, or know someone who might be, please let me know.” - @ninakossoff ⠀ Signal boost. The cover of the December issue of Vogue with muxe Estrella Vazquez in a traditional dress. Show caption Mexico Vogue cover features transgender ‘muxe’ from Mexico for the first time Mexican and British editions of the magazine feature Estrella Vazquez on the cover in December A culture of indigenous transgender women that has been part of southern Mexico’s heritage for centuries is getting the Vogue treatment, featuring on the magazine’s front cover for the first time in more than 120 years of publishing. An indigenous “muxe” woman will appear next month on the cover of the magazine’s Mexican and British editions. Muxes, a term probably derived from the Spanish word mujer meaning woman, are indigenous transgender women who mix gay male and feminine identities. The cover photo features Estrella Vazquez, a tall 37-year-old indigenous Zapotec muxe wearing a traditional huipil garment with colourful flowers and holding a pink fan in one hand. The weaver and designer sees the cover as a sign of receding bigotry in Mexico toward muxes. Historically the country’s ingrained Roman Catholic heritage has reinforced anti-gay and anti-transgender prejudice. “I think it’s a huge step,” Vazquez said in Juchitan city in southern Oaxaca state, home to perhaps the largest muxe (pronounced moo-she) community. “There’s still discrimination, but it’s not as much now and you don’t see it like you once did,” she said. #ThemsHealth #Nonbinary #GenderQueer #Trans #Transgender #GenderExpansive #Bodyneutral #BeyondTheBinary #GenderNonConforming #TheyThem #NonbinaryVisibility #NonbinaryPride #NonbinaryHealth #TransHealth #NonbinaryWellness #NonbinaryFitness #NonbinaryNutrition #NonbinaryMentalHealth #NonbinarySexuality #NonbinaryIdentity #NonbinaryReproductiveHealth https://www.instagram.com/p/CNF7Ei1jlfU/?igshid=w4ec767pc391

#Repost @themshealth with @get_repost ・・・ Today is #NationalComingOutDay, celebrating the ‘coming out of the closet’ of LGBTQ+ folks, and it’s also a good day to remember a few things: 🌈 Yes, coming out is amazing if you want it! 🌈 Not everyone WANTS to come out 🌈 Not everyone is safe to come out 🌈 Some folks have been forced to come out 🌈 Some folks have anti-climactic comings out 🌈 Some folks are still waiting to come out 🌈 No one owes “coming out” to anybody else 🌈 For many people, “coming out” is a daily experience 🌈 Coming out can happen in different iterations 🌈 Coming out is a journey AND above all, really, it’s on straight and cisgender allies to make sure the world is actually a safe, accepting place for LGBTQ+ people to actually come out in. Sending you love, no matter what “coming out” looks like for you. And this is for sure an incomplete list! Please add whatever else coming out can look like 💓 . . . . . . . #themshealth #themshealthmag #nonbinary #genderqueer #genderexpansive #bodyneutral #bodypositive #beyondthebinary #gendernonconforming #theythem #nonbinaryvisibility #nonbinarypride #nonbinarywellness #nonbinaryfitness #nonbinarynutrition #nonbinarymentalhealth #nonbinarysexuality #nonbinaryidentity #nonbinaryhealth #nonbinarybodilyhealth #nonbinaryreproductivehealth #comingoutday #comingoutday2020 #lgbtq #lgbtqpride https://www.instagram.com/p/CGNghAljrfj/?igshid=1jpwe4gn15hqo

Next month I'm branching out from all the queer stuff and into another huge part of my life and identity. Mental health. I am diagnosed with: BPD, depression, anxiety and social phobia and OCD. And while not all of these dx's are in the same state they were in my twenties, they are still very much part of my life and a bigger part of my past. I'm very interested and invested in mental health and how queer people are interlaced. How being affirmed improves the mental health of trans and queer people dramatically. About children and their mental health. I always wanted Queer Little Shop to be more than just a shop and I'm working on updating old resource lists I have. Don't worry queer shit and memes are here to stay. But I hope you join me on this journey. Next month expect badges, stickers and some other stuff. Reach out to me here or @queerlittlefamily if you're struggling. I'm a good listener, and if I can't help I can point you in the right direction. #MentalHealth #mentalHealthAwareness #MentalHealthmatters #MentalIllness #Depression #Anxiety #SelfHarm #Medication #EndMedIcationShaming #HaveYouTookYourMedsToday #MedicationMatters #Therapy #QueerMentalHealth #lgbtqshop #QueerOwnedShop #QueerOwned #ShopQueer #ShopQueerAllYear #LGBTMentalHealth #LGBTQMentalHealth #WelshShop #mentalhealthrecovery #OCD #BPD #Bipolar #TransMentalHealth #NonBinaryMentalHealth https://www.instagram.com/p/CQtlUO0BnqE/?utm_medium=tumblr

Society teaches us to bear the pain and not bother anyone with out agony. . My parents did not intentionally teach this to me. They were just passing on what they had learnt from the society "suffer in silence!" . So I did. . Chronic pain has been part of my journey for nearly 12 years. It started at work. . Work tried to and successfully washed their hands of their responsibility by misleading me, and naive as I was, I thought it was me. Story for another time. . So, now thanks to Jenna Green's courageous drive, I am finally opening up about my relationship with pain, invisible Illness and how it impacts my life. . If you suffer with invisible illness, stay tuned .. I'll be sharing my journey in hope to help others too, to open up and be vulnerable unapologetically! #InvisibleIllness #ChronicPain #Pain #Disability #Anxiety #Depression #MentalHealth #ADHD #OCD #PTSD #MentalHealthAwareness #Fear #MensMentalHealth #LGBTMentalHealth #NonBinaryMentalHealth #Mentalpreneurs #Podcast #Intentional #NotMyChoice #Szebastian #Strength https://www.instagram.com/p/CdKJjCWlwwS/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
