#m rambles #at least I cooked a meal today?#I’ve been surviving off of junk food for like a week I think?#maybe not quite a week #either way #also tmi but I’ve been out of clean underwear for a few days which is so sick #because I have almost a month’s worth of underwear #I have a month’s worth of trash and dishes too #but at least I did half my dishes last night #I’m so tired #all the damn time #I didn’t work today either #I’m so sick of this shit #I have a psychiatry appointment at 6:30am and I have no clue if I’ll manage to wake up for it #but I need to because my meds just aren’t cutting it #I took them for almost a month straight and it hasn’t helped #idk at least my ig is letting me comment and like posts again so that’s nice I guess

Hi everyone please be mildly disappointed in me for starting the fabric cutting on my quilted scarf gift project at 2:45 AM, but everyone be proud of me for realizing at 3:45 AM that it was an insane choice and that I should be satisfied with my progress and go the fuck to sleep instead of staying up til 6 am and making a fuckton of cutting mistakes.

#tag #quilting #I only made 1 mistake #and it’s easy cutting which is why it’s so tempting #I was like ‘surely I can knock out the cutting before bed’#‘then I can do the piecing this weekend and quilt it by next week!’#but my guy. (my guy is me here)#I did 1/3rd of the background cutting in about an hour #so the background alone would have taken me til almost 6 am #nd then the accent cutting would likely take the same amount just given the pieces involved #that said it’s nice to know a calculation for how long I’ll be putting into this #usually I enter ADHD mode for however long and have no fucking clue how long I’ve worked #now I know: cutting on this specific project is equivalent to about 5-6 hours of working undistracted but kinda slowly #I imagine piecing won’t take too long if I do my prep work right #the prep work itself will probably be an hour including toying around with the design #and the quilting will be verrrry quick but I SHOULD do a practice block bc I’m working with minky fabric for the first time

so I've officially successfully used a scroll saw without losing any blood <- an achievement, but we now must wait and find out is if my plan will actually work and I'm being Very impatient while i watch actual paint dry.

#my idea is to layer glass scraps under a single sealed wood pattern piece and cut a bunch out at once #instead of cutting them each individually #since like. cutting 1 piece out with the knife is Way faster than cutting one piece out with the bandsaw but cutting 5 pieces at once #on the bandsaw would be way faster than 5 pieces with a knife.#No clue if itll actually work but i got the scroll saw for 20 bucks and the wood bits for free so i thought it worth at least trying

Thoughts on Sergei?

I have no clue if Ushanka's an incarnation of madness, a manifestation of change, or a victim of compulsion, if he's real. As a story/tale, the whole thing is very enticing. Ghost in the Machine and all- y'know. Good creepypasta material.

If he's real, then I don't know if he's actually suffering, or if he's done suffering and only his echoes remain to terrify other people. It would likely be both. I feel kind of sorry for him if he's "alive" in there - based on the tale, he never adapted to his situation, which is a shame.

Then again, maybe the whole suffering thing is an act on his part, and is only meant to scare people, in which case, well played I suppose. It's very unnerving.

The first photo is very unflattering lol but me a week on T vs me like 2 weeks ago so about 7 months on T.

I don’t think much has changed physically. My figure is still obviously feminine when I wear tighter clothes. I also don’t think I’ve lost or gained any weight which is fine with me (wouldn’t hurt to lose like 10-15 lbs but I’m surprisingly not overwhelmed with needing to do that). I do have more days that I feel better in my own skin.

Nobody in my immediate family knows I’m on it. I’m waiting for the changes to be enough that they bring it up. Not sure how that will go lol

trying to figure out if grad school is truly worth putting myself into debt for ruhroh girlies

so the curator is STILL getting punished for how heavily he interfered with little hope i see!

#my posts.#ok so i did as i said and played all of the devil in me last night! and it was for sure better than house of ashes by far #loved seeing all their improvements even if i didn't think some of them worked ( aka the wheeling stuff around thing )#but oh my god the curator has literally had the personality sucked right out of him ?? hello ??#he was so passionate in lh! his clues were clever and from the heart .. he literally got mad when you killed people #would demand if you knew that there was something worse than death for the lh cast ... would straight up TELL you to be kind to mary #'she's just a child ...' we've never seen so much empathy from the curator before #nor nearly as much interest his screentime in lh is insane #and then after all that it's cut short in hoa ... and now he's so. distant. in tdim #like whoever's his boss brought down the hammer hard on him for little hope it kills me how you can see the curator's favoritism #makes sense he's emotionally invested in lh given the fact they are souls he cannot have ... just right out of his reach ...#anyway love that lh is still the curator's favorite story <3 everyone might hate it but at least he does not
