It was midnight, New Orleans was uncharacteristically quiet as Klaus sat in his art studio, sketching a picture of the moonlight that was drifting into the candlelit room.
He sighed, frustrated as he could not replicate the doorframe before him;in silent protest  he lightly tossed the sketchbook away from him. The book clattered on the floor as he reached for his nearby drink, taking a gulp of the fiery amber liquid, he stared toward the paintings in front of him.
Searching for her face, he had painted her many times, just not as the main subject of his work, her face was always hidden in the shadows or highlights of his painting.
A loud knock broke his silence, he stood up: walking outside the room slowly to investigate; another knock this time accompanied with a voice; her voice, “Let me in, please.”
At the sound of her voice, the hybrid sped to the closed gates of his home, opening them quickly. His jaw tightened at the sight in front of him.
Her clothes were perpetually shredded, her pants appeared to be ripped at the waist as though someone, some bastard had attempted to remove them. The collar of her shirt was torn, exposing her chest.
She jumped at the sudden movement, swaying backwards towards the street, looking behind herself.
Klaus sighed, “what on earth happened to you,love?”
“I-I.” Her mouth trembled as she looked up at him.
She stepped forward, walking into the compound, her entire body shaking as she tripped over her feet.
Klaus sped to her, picking her up in bridal carry.
“Thank you.”  She whispered into his neck as he carried her to his bedroom upstairs.
He gently laid her down on the bed, helping her prop herself up with pillows.
“I didn’t know where else to go..” she said looking down at herself. Her nails were jagged from her attempts to save herself earlier in the night.
She had been out drinking, she shook her head; “How stupid am I?” she whispered as a sob erupted from her throat.
“Oh my love, you are not stupid. You did not deserve this.” Klaus said, wanting so badly to wrap his arms around her; but sat beside her on the bed.
“Whoever did this to you, will pay with their life, I swear to you.”
Her body shook with every sob, “Can you please hold me?” she said in between them.
“Are you sure? I don’t want to push you too far.” He spoke calmly.
“Yes, please Nik, I trust you.”
That was enough for the hybrid to walk over to the opposite side of her, wrapping an arm around her as she laid her head on his chest.
She cried until she could no longer produce the tears to do so; it was afternoon by the time she awoke. Klaus had left her alone in his bed. She sighed looking down at herself, a tear running down her cheek.
She jumped, as someone knocked on the door, “ Y/N, sweetheart are you awake?” Rebekah’s voice rang out.
“Yes, I’m awake, you can come in.”
Rebekah opened the door slowly, her face softened at the sight of Y/N sitting on the bed, still in the scraps of clothing from last night.
“Where’s nik?” Y/N swallowed the lump in her throat.
“Out hunting that monster down,” Rebekah sat at the end of the bed, turning towards y/n.
“Do you want to change out of those clothes?”
Y/N nodded,
 “Alright then, I’ll start a bath for you and bring you some clothes,” Rebekah walked to the bathroom, and started the bath, before leaving Y/N to undress.
She sighed, walking toward the warm bath, ridding herself of her clothes. Her wrists were sore, her legs and hips bruised, she slid into the warm bath,  soapy water cascading around her in a comforting hug.
She grabbed the washcloth and began scrubbing, first gently then vigorously, as if to rub away what had happened the night before.
 She stood out from the tub, wrapping a nearby towel around her body; drying herself before putting clean clothes on.
She hung her towel as she heard a knock on the door.
“Y/n, love?” Klaus called out.
“I’m in here,” she called, fixing her hair as best she could.
He walked in, He bit his lip nervously, before speaking; “What happened last night?”
“I was sexually assaulted.” her voice cracked; a tear running down her face as she looked at him through the bathroom mirror.
His jaw tightened, even though he had the man who attacked Y/N in his basement, writhing in pain. His rage grew hotter with the sound of her heart breaking.
“It’s not your fault,” He said softly.
“You didn’t deserve it, and I swear I will make him pay in ways even his sadistic mind couldn’t come up with.”
She sniffled, a small chuckle under her breath, “You and your threats never miss a mark,”
He smiled softly,staring into her eyes, “I am so sorry that I was not there to protect you , and I am even more remorseful for not telling you this earlier;”
He took in a shaky breath, she nodded at him, to continue.
“I love you; and I promise to protect you; always and forever.”
She smiled, as best as she could before turning around and walking to him, wrapping her arms around his neck in a hug. He reciprocated by wrapping his strong arms around her back.
She sighed, closing her eyes; “I love you too.”
They stood like that for a while, for as long as she needed. Klaus didn’t want to let go of her, just not quite yet.

Can you do a little Klaus with a lactation kink but the reader doesn’t mind when Klaus will go under her top and began sucking her breast as Klaus doesn’t care when he does it in front of his family they look at him in shock but they don’t judge him.
Then Klaus whines when he doesn’t gets anymore breast milk and the reader tells him that he suck her dry.
Tumblr media
Greedy
Klaus was always begging to be in her hold.
To have his hands all over her and hers all over him.
One particular area he seemed to be drawn to however was her breasts.
It started off just brushing over them with his hands, squeezing gently as he fondles them.
“Having fun pet?” She asked watching him see how much of her tit he could have in his mouth with an amused smile. His only response was to look up at her with an embarrassed blush on his face as he sucked one and caressed the other with a nod.
She often woke to him sucking at her nipples, his eyes closed in contentment.
She didn’t really notice he was actually getting something out of her breasts to begin with. She just thought he had a thing for them.
It wasn’t until she hadn’t seen him for a couple days and her nipples seemed to lactate through her shirt.
She ended up having to go and buy a breast pump so that she could sit in dry clothes for the rest of the day.
And then she found that Klaus was always looking at them, as soon as they were alone he was attached to them. His hands kneading and mouth sucking as she stroked his head.
“That’s a good boy” she would whisper as he swallowed and whined
It wasn’t long until he just couldn’t help himself but move under her shirt, no matter who she was with.
“Nik-“
“Please mommy…” he whispered as he pushed her bra to the side and pulled a nipple into his mouth without waiting for an answer.
He drank more milk than he did blood and craved it like an addict which is why when he couldn’t get anymore out of her, he nearly broke down in tears.
“Nik, honey, just wait a bit for them to fill back up. You’re being dramatic little one, and greedy” she hummed and he whimpered
Eventually he waited long enough and snuggled back to her

Mikaelson little sister reader x Elijah Mikaelson x Klaus Mikaelson
Warnings: mention of blood
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You're sitting in Elijah's lap, playing with two Chelsea dolls you got some years ago, while he's on the phone with someone. It's quiet except for the sound of your big brother's voice every now and then.
It's all peaceful until Kol comes crashing into the room and sits on the ground in front of you. You tilt your head and hand him one of the dolls. "Play!" You tell him.
Kol nods and plays with you, making a horrible high-pitched voice for the doll which makes you laugh, but Elijah cringes and hopes he stops soon.
It's been ten minutes, "What the bloody hell is that horrible sound?" Klaus walks in, he clearly just got back from wherever he was. Most likely Cami, but he never discloses that information, knowing you've openly shown your dislike for her.
"Our brother's wonderful voice for a doll" Elijah sighs, putting his phone down.
"Hey! My voice is amazing!" Kol exclaims, hearing the insult and sarcasticness in Elijah's answer. "Yeah!" You cross your arms like Kol is.
"See! Y/n knows what she's talking about" Kol says as Klaus picks you up out of Elijah's lap and places you on his hip. You wrap your tiny arms around his neck and relax your head against his shoulder.
"Y/n is also two, I think you need a better defense" Klaus raises an eyebrow. "Technically she's over a thousand like all of us... I'll shut up" Kol says, seeing the looks he's getting from the big brothers.
Kol, having both dolls in his hand, places them down on the coffee table before leaving the room. He plans to go into town and create some havoc that all of his siblings (besides from you) will have a fuss about, but it'll be fun.
Later in the week, there's a party being thrown in the abboiter. It's all vampires and humans for them to feed on. Some to kill and some to compel away.
"Well, this seems to be quite the turn out" Rebekah walks over to you and Klaus, who's carrying you tightly in his arms. "Indeed it is, sister" Klaus smirks.
"Look at you all dressed up" Rebekah coos, running a hand through your hair. "I did all by my'elf" you say excitedly. You're wearing a long sleeve dark purple dress that flows out under the bodice, and matching purple glittery jelly shoes that are put on the wrong feet. But Rebekah didn't want to tell you that and make you feel bad or make you upset at yourself. You also have a couple bead bracelets on your wrists and a heart necklace that Elijah gave you that you never take off. Your daylight ring is on your right pointer finger as well.
"Well good job, beautiful girl" Rebekah kisses your forehead before noticing Cami making her way over, and leaves to go back into the crowd.
"Hey Klaus," Cami smiles. "Camille, You look beautiful" Klaus kisses her. "Mmm, thank you" she says.
You make a disgusted facial expression before facing back the other way and laying your head back on your big brother's chest. You wonder how thus girl seems to be everywhere and why she always comes up to you and your big brother. Why don't they just make her go away like other woman they have before. You don't know what happens to them, but you assume it's fine.
Your siblings make sure you're kept out of all the killing and death during your existence.
As they keep talking, you try to ignore them to the best of your abilities. How much longer, you keep thinking. You try looking for Elijah, so your other big brothers can take you away from them, but no luck. You can't seem to find him anywhere from where you're placed on Klaus' hip.
As soon as you hear her chuckle at something Klaus said, your 2 year old self gets fed up. So, you take off one of your bracelets and throw it as hard as you can at Cami's face.
Now you may be biologically two, but you're still an original vampire, and with that comes a lot of strength. The bracelet made a great slash in her pale cheek, now blood running down her face.
Klaus quickly vamps into his room with Cami and you still in his hold. He sets you down on his bed as he bites into his wrist and offers it to Cami.
As she drinks blood from his wrist, Elijah comes into the room, noticing Klaus vamping out of the courtyard with the both of you.
"What happened?" Elijah asks. You stay quiet, as you sit crisscross apple sauce on the bed, happy that Elijah's here, and even though Cami is now healed, you did something for her to stop talking. You really don't like her.
"Um, I'm fine, though I think it's time for me to go" She sighs, glancing at you before walking out of the room to go back to her apartment.
"What happened was someone decided to get a bit violent" Klaus informs him, facing you. Elijah follows his gaze, landing on your face. You have a slight smile on your face. Yay! you made Cami leave.
"Why did you hurt Camille, y/n?" Elijah walks over and crouches in front of you so you're face to face.
"Bad Cami! Don' li'e her" answer front forwardly. Elijah raises his eyebrows. It's known you're not a fan of the woman, but you've never actually said it out loud up until now.
Klaus chuckles. Elijah turns his line of sight to him, "What do you have to snicker about?"
"Oh, just the thought of y/n is slowly turning into a mini version of me" Klaus smiles and holds a thumbs up at you. You have a big grin on your face. "Niklaus, do not encourage this behavior" Elijah sighs. It's going to be a long life if this is going to keep happening regularly.
A new rule is set in place to make sure that you're never in the same room with Cami with less than one of your siblings. And that one day they can hopefully get you to like Cami and not loathe her.
Tumblr media
In the past, you’d been told that your relationship with Klaus didn’t make any sense. You ignored them. They don’t know us, you thought. They don’t understand what we’ve gone through. And that, for the most part, was true.
You were turned with the Mikaelsons when you were only twenty-one years old. You and Klaus had stuck together since then. Through all the trials and tribulations, you two were inseparable. The daggering of his siblings, the hunter’s curse, his enemies coming after you, trying to break his curse—you were there every step of the way. Nothing could make you leave him. In your mind, it didn’t matter what obstacle life threw at you; you’d beat it. You beat it every single time.
Later, you realized that you should’ve known this would happen sooner.
You should’ve known that it was too good to be true.
You could still remember walking into your shared apartment that day in the nineties. You were on top of the tallest mountain, feeling like you were on top of the world. Until suddenly you fell, plummeting down to the ground as the life you’d built fell with you. But that wasn’t the right word to use. You did not fall that day.
You were pushed.
“Nik, I got the-”  you cut yourself off, dropping the bags in your hands to the ground. Something in them cracked, but you couldn’t hear a thing. Your world went silent; it was as if the only cracking you could hear was the cracking of your own heart.
Klaus quickly got up, speeding to you. While he was able to get his pants on quickly, there was nothing he could do to hide the blonde in his bed- your bed.
“Y/N, love, it’s not-”
“It’s not what, Klaus?” Tears that you didn’t even know were there raced down your cheeks. You saw him wince when you addressed him. You never called him that.
“This is not what it looks like.”
“Oh, really? So you didn’t just fuck this girl in our bed?” At that, his eyes went downcast. You felt your hands shake. He had no explanation to give you and you knew that; it wouldn’t matter if he had one, anyway. You weren’t gonna stick around to listen to it.
You sped out of your shared apartment as fast as you could, not caring if any human onlookers saw. That day, you swore to yourself that you were done.
You should’ve known better.
That day, you ended up running to Elijah, hoping he would give you refuge, but you knew now that it was wishful thinking. It didn’t matter that Klaus and Elijah were fighting. It didn’t matter how close you and the nobleman were, how much he claimed to care for you. At the end of the day, his brother would still mean more to him.
So, that same day, Elijah brought you right back to Klaus.
You refused to talk to him, but he begged, and begged, and begged. He promised, and promised, and promised. He showered you with affection and more sweet-nothings than he’d ever given you. So, you thought to yourself, he’s trying. He just made a dumb mistake. We all deserve second chances.
You kick yourself now for ever being so stupid. But, at the time, all you could think about was the centuries upon centuries of love the two of you shared. It felt like a crime to throw it all away over one mistake.
But it wasn’t just one mistake.
“Y/N, love, please don’t do this-” Klaus reached a hand out to grab your arm, but you shoved him away. You stormed out of the house, your husband following right behind you. It was pouring outside, but you didn’t care. There was a much more dangerous storm brewing inside of you. You’d prefer to be out in the rain than to ever be in that house with him again.
“Y/N, please-”
“Get the hell away from me.”
“Y/N-”
You spun on your heel and exploded, “Get the hell away from me, Klaus!” The rain hid it all so well, but you were both crying.
“Please, I can’t lose you.” You finally broke down, letting out a sob. You fell down to the ground as Klaus tried desperately to catch you, ending up kneeling on the ground next to you.
You tried to hard to be strong, not to cry, but you couldn’t help it. You were smart; you knew better than to let a man do this to you. But, when it came to Klaus, the man you’d spent your entire life with, your heart overpowered your head.
Your voice cracked with every word you spoke. “You said this would never happen again.”
“Love-”
“No, you promised me, Nik, you said never again.” He opened his mouth to speak, but you didn’t let him get a word in. “You said you would never put me through this again-”
“Y/N-”
“It’s been all of ten years, and here we are, in the same position you put us in last time-” You cut yourself off sobbing as your voice failed you. You buried your head in your hands. The heartbreak you felt was ineffable, so much more intense than the last time. When you said your vows all those years ago, so high on happiness, you never could’ve imagined that you’d one day feel like this—that Klaus would make you feel like this.
He didn’t say anything else. There was nothing to say. There was no defence for what he was doing to you. So instead, he wrapped his arms around you, and being tired, you let him.
It was funny, almost. Even as he engulfed you in his warmth, even after he took you inside and placed you by the fireplace, you still felt so cold.
After the second time, you left him. You woke up the morning after, wrapped in his arms, and you left without looking back. Leaving him almost hurt just as much as catching him in the act, but you knew this was what was best. You needed to do this.
This time, you didn’t go to Elijah. You cut off all communication with the Mikaelsons completely, even though they were both blowing up your phone. After the first fifty phone calls, you threw it in a dumpster.
Being away from Klaus made you feel better, but you still didn’t feel like you. For a long time, you felt broken, incomplete, so used. You didn’t know who you were without him. But you got better.
Slowly, you built yourself back up, building walls around your heart so that no one could ever do that to you again. But if Klaus was the big bad wolf, then you may as well have just been a little piggy because, when he found you, he blew those walls down effortlessly as if they were made of straw.
See, Klaus Mikaelson was like a whirlpool: try and swim away all you want, but he would just keep sucking you in until you’d eventually die.
You should’ve known better.
You walked into your apartment with a kick in your step. It was a good day; you were happy. But the smile on your face dropped when you saw the figure standing in your home.
You tried to go back out through the door, but Klaus was faster, speeding to you and closing it shut, caging you between the door and him. You let out a shaky breath, unable to turn around as you rested your forehead against the door, tears welling in your eyes.
It’d been three years since you last saw him, the longest you’d ever gone without seeing him, yet he still made you feel things that no one else on earth could.
For a moment, you were both mute until you broke the silence, whispering, “What are you doing here?”
You heard him swallow as if he was scared, but you were the one that was terrified. Klaus would never lay a hand on you, but he could hurt you in ways that were so much worse, so at that moment, you feared for your life. Because you knew that, with the right words, he could get you to fall into his trap again, and going through all this again would kill you.
“I-” he paused, like he was gathering his thoughts. You thanked whatever god was out there that he didn’t make you face him. “I knew you were here, I just- I wanted you to have time to yourself, but, Y/N, it’s time to come home now.”
Your lips quivered as you struggled to hold the tears. He made it sound like this was a game, and maybe to him it was, but it wasn’t like that for you. This wasn’t a break that you’d just “come back” from; you were done, you promised yourself that.
You shook your head, but Klaus spoke before you could even utter your protests. “I can break my curse.” Your eyes involuntarily went wide, not having expected that. You were just about to spin around, but he turned you first. As soon as your eyes met his, you couldn’t help the tear that fell down your face.
It was like you forgot how beautiful he could be.
He looked to be having somewhat of the same reaction as you, scanning over you as if couldn’t tell that you were real. And honestly, you even felt like pinching yourself, too.
His voice got softer. “There’s a girl in Virginia, the doppelgänger.” He paused to let you say something, but you were so taken aback by everything that’d happened after you stepped into your apartment that you were practically speechless. How ironic. You’d spent months agonizing over all you’d say to him if you ever saw him again, but now that you were, you had nothing to say.
“I am so close, Y/N,” he whispered. His hands cupped your cheek so gently that a stranger would’ve never guessed that this man had destroyed entire villages, that he even destroyed you, too. When he rested his forehead on yours, the tears that you were trying so hard to hold in came falling like your eyes were a waterfall. “I can- I can wake the rest of the family. Rebekah, Kol, Finn- I know how much you miss them all.”
Your heart tightened in your chest because you did miss them, but you forgot just how much you missed him.
“We can be a family again, Y/N.” You screwed your eyes shut. Your husband was a smart man. Whether the tears in his eyes were real or if he was just a great actor, you couldn’t be sure, but he knew exactly what your weak-spots were and he was using them against you.
This wasn’t fair, you thought. This wasn’t fair at all.
“Please, let us be a family again.” You opened your eyes, biting your lip to prevent the sobs from escaping. “I love you.” Oh, you should’ve kept your eyes closed. You should’ve sped out the door the second you saw him. You should’ve ran farther, tried harder to disappear so that he would’ve never found you.
But none of that mattered.
Because, just like that, you folded.
After a week, you ended up leaving with Klaus. You helped him with his plans to become a hybrid, and he was trying, you could tell he was really trying, but your marriage wasn’t the same. Whenever you kissed him, you couldn’t help but wonder, did she kiss him like this? When you made love, you wondered, was he so tender and loving with her, too? Were you even as special as he told you that you were?
There was only so much trying he could do. You knew the damage was done. You now had insecurities that no amount of sweet words could ever get rid of. You were such a confident woman, but you didn’t feel that way, not anymore.
Your mirror was cracked, sure, but you could still see yourself. You still saw a future, a bright future. You, Klaus, Elijah, Rebekah, Kol, Finn—you could all be a family, just like Klaus told you that day. You could see it.
So you stayed.
Eventually, they were all woken up. For a while, things felt normal, like when you’d been human. But you were starting to learn that good things never lasted long enough.
When Esther came back, she tried to kill you all. You defeated her, as a family, but no matter how hard you tried to convince them, your siblings all left. This family’s broken, Kol said to you. You’d best get out while you can, Y/N.
You should’ve listened to him.
But you didn’t, and you’d later wonder if things would’ve been different. If you took Kol’s offer to come with him, to leave your husband and travel the world, then would you have been happy?
You tell yourself you’d never know, but you knew deep down that you would’ve been happy, that at least you wouldn’t have been devastated.
It was only you and Rebekah; you were the only ones that could stick by Klaus. In that way, you two were one in the same, two sides of the same coin. You’d always be living in the same hell, trying to get to heaven by being loyal to him, but little did you both know, the longer you stayed, the deeper down into hell you went. Until heaven was unobtainable.
For a while, things were okay. You and Klaus were okay—God, you were just getting to okay. And then Kol died.
That took the cake. Nothing you’d ever felt was so painful, not even what your soulmate did to you, or the man who was supposed to be your soulmate.
Suddenly, you were wishing you could turn back time, wishing you could’ve gone with Kol when he asked you to, wishing you could’ve spent more time with him—you just got him back.
After Kol’s death, it was like the idea of a family became unobtainable, too.
You were in pieces, but Rebekah stayed strong. She handled Klaus while you couldn’t, because wasn’t that your job? What else were you here for—what else were either of you here for?
You wanted to kill Jeremy Gilbert, to rip him and Elena to shreds and to make the Salvatores watch. You wanted them to feel even an inch of your pain, but Klaus didn’t let you, and you resented him for it.
The way he behaved after Kol’s death was unforgivable to you, but you were able to see past it because what was his death if it wasn’t a wake up call? You didn’t want to take this life for granted; you didn’t want to wake up one day, regretting not spending time with your husband because he was dead.
So you repaired the bond that was severed after Kol. You held him and he held you just as tight, if not tighter. Neither of you wanted to lose the other. So you worked for it, you worked for something better, you worked to be something like what you were before—to be anything like what you were before.
But, oh, you should’ve known better.
You didn’t walk in on Klaus cheating on you a third time. He confessed to you, tears in his eyes. He begged, and made promises, and begged, and begged, and cried, and cried, and he did the whole routine, but you were silent throughout it all.
You didn’t cry. You felt like your body was out of tears. God knows you’d cried an ocean away for Klaus, for this family, for the family you could’ve had.
You didn’t say anything, but you knew better now. You weren’t gonna run away, you’d learned from your mistakes. Instead, you moved into a different room in the house. The flowers, the jewelry, the sweet words—oh, all of the things that’d made you swoon in the past didn’t faze you. You’d been force-fed so many sweet words that you now had a tooth ache that no doctor could fix.
You didn’t talk to Klaus for weeks, but when the time came, you followed him to New Orleans. You were practically lifeless, but when Klaus brought you into a bar and you were met with the sight of the boy you took in, the boy you thought died, it was like someone took a defibrillator to your chest.
Hugging Marcel for the first time in almost a century was like CPR. Is this a play? you wondered. Is this Klaus’ strategy? But at that moment, it didn’t matter. Once again, you were reminded of Kol. You needed to cherish your loved ones while you still could, and so it didn’t matter if Klaus was using Marcel to get you to crack, you’d appreciate it, anyway.
But you should’ve known better. You should’ve known that you couldn’t be happy.
When you got to the plantation late at night, the house Klaus insisted you stay in, you were confused to see a brunette woman standing on the stairs.
You furrowed your brows while the woman’s went up. She looked like a deer in headlights. Before you could ask her any questions, your sister came into view. She looked almost as shocked as you.
“Rebekah?”
She ignored you. “You’re here,” she said, surprise lacing her voice and an unknown emotion in her eyes.
“Yes, I am.” You glanced in between Rebekah and the brunette, starting to become unnerved with their expressions. You didn’t know why she was surprised that you were here; it was you who should’ve been surprised at her arrival.
You should’ve known better.
“Elijah- Elijah didn’t tell me you’d be here.”
You only got more confused as she went on. “Elijah’s here?”
She ignored you again, scoffing under her breath, shaking her head at the ground. “My brother’s a fool,” she muttered. And only then did you realize that the emotion in her eyes was pity.
You looked back to the brown-haired woman, instantly realizing why she was looking at you like you were going to attack her. Quickly, you looked away before you actually did. You didn’t say the exact words out loud, but they knew that you knew.
“What is she doing here?” Your voice was sharp; you saw the girl flinch out of the corner of her eye.
When Rebekah looked up at you, you felt your heart drop. She looked at you like you were the last to be let in on the secret, like she knew she was about to single-handedly crush you. Softly, she told you, “Listen.” And so you did.
And then every other time your heart broke felt like nothing. Nothing could compare to the utter shock you felt, the pain. Because you heard a little heartbeat, and you knew the implication Rebekah was making.
You looked up to the girl to see that she was about to cry. That almost made you lose it. Who was she to cry? you thought.
You looked at Rebekah to see tears in her eyes, too. “How?” You asked, but she didn’t get a chance to reply.
“Niklaus is a hybrid, Y/N.” You turned to see Elijah slowly walking into the room. He looked careful, almost, like anything he said could set you off. “He’s not a full vampire-”
“And she’s human,” you cut him off, humourlessly chuckling. The human girl gave him a baby.
You couldn’t help but wonder, if you had a baby while you were human, would your marriage have ended up this way?
But none of that mattered. Right now, it felt like nothing mattered. Just as you thought there was nothing more Klaus could do to you, he gets his one night stand pregnant. Now she wasn’t so much of a one night stand anymore, was she?
Your siblings were looking at you like you were a china doll, like their brother had just thrown you and they were waiting for you to break. But your face was blank. On the inside, however, there was an entire hurricane taking place, but it was like your body refused to release any of it. Oh, you wanted to break down, you wanted to so badly, but it felt impossible.
There was nothing more to say- nothing you cared to hear, anyway. So you slowly walked up the stairs, heading for a guest room, ignoring Rebekah and Elijah’s calls. The blonde started crying, and if you’d looked down, then you would’ve seen Elijah burning a hole into the ground with his gaze.
You didn’t want to look at either of them, especially not your husband’s right hand man. You were growing to resent Elijah, even though there was a time when you were the best of friends. Maybe if he hadn’t brought you back to Klaus that day in 1996, then you could’ve been spared this horrible, horrible feeling. But no. Any relationship you had with a Mikaelson was trumped by the relationship they had with Klaus.
Of course, they were here, you thought. Of course, they come running back to him the second he does something stupid.
But how mad at them could you really be?
Haven’t you always been doing the same thing?
After you’d gone up stairs, you could remember popping open an old bottle of whiskey and drinking until your vision was hazy. You couldn’t remember when you fell asleep, but when you awoke, Klaus was right there in bed next to you.
You ignored your thoughts, questioning the nerve of him to get in bed with you after what you’d found out, and walked out of the room.
But you didn’t feel as angry as the night before. You felt numb, almost. The last time you felt so empty was after your parents died a thousand years ago. It didn’t necessarily bother you, though. Feeling nothing felt better than feeling everything.
So you let it be. You showered, got dressed, and left the house. Rebekah and Elijah stared at you as you left, but you didn’t give them the time of day. You went and met Marcel for breakfast like everything was fine, went shopping, then you came back home and climbed into bed. When you woke up, Klaus was there again, but you ignored it and continued with your routine.
For three weeks, you didn’t say a word to your husband. He could barely even try to speak to you; you were gone all day everyday and you were asleep by the time he came home. Rebekah would try to make conversation whenever she saw you, but she only received short answers. Elijah didn’t even try; something told you he felt guilty, and you hoped he did. The pregnant werewolf whose name you learned was Hayley would tense up every time you crossed paths. Once, she tried to apologize to you, but it was as if she were talking to a wall because you didn’t give her the slightest bit of attention.
While you weren’t communicating with the people you lived with, when you went out into the Quarter, you were a different person. You were lively, and confident, and funny, and you didn’t look like a woman whose husband cheated on her. Marcel was constantly introducing you to people; you were always surrounded by people, and while you felt so alone at first, as time progressed, you stopped feeling so lonely.
Suddenly, it was like that hole in you started to heal. The hole was still there, but it was getting better.
One day, one of your new friends introduced you to this boy, this young, newly turned boy. And, looking at him, you felt something other than despair: you felt like you were human again. Talking to him made you feel things that you forgot existed, things Klaus used to make you feel on a daily basis.
This boy was good. He was pure, and happy, and full of life, even though he was dead.
It felt wrong at first. Klaus was the only man you had ever been with. But perhaps that was why you liked this boy so much: he reminded you of a side of your lover that had been long dormant, the side of Klaus you fell in love with.
You never slept with him. You never even kissed him. All you did was feel something.
But that didn’t matter.
Oh, you should’ve known better.
So much better.
You opened the door, your bag immediately falling to the ground at the sight you were met with. “No- no, no, no.” You sped into the living room, falling to your knees. Your tears fell with you.
In front of you, the sweet, sweet boy you were starting to feel something for was lying dead in his own apartment. You wished it wasn’t real, but his body was grey, veins all over him. With the hole in his chest, he didn’t look so peaceful anymore.
You cupped your hand over your mouth in shock, silently sobbing. You were so distraught that you didn’t even notice the footsteps behind you.
“I ripped his heart out.” You turned your head to see none other than your husband standing a few feet away from you, the red organ in his hand. While your vision was blurred, you could still see the quiet anger on his face, even though he seemed emotionless. He dropped Leo’s heart on to the ground like it was nothing.
Suddenly, a fire that you thought died out alit in your body. You all but sneered, “What is wrong with you?”
Klaus humourlessly chuckled. It was almost like you couldn’t recognize him, but oh, he had never looked more like himself. “What’s wrong with me?” He echoed. “What’s wrong with me is my wife has been sneaking around behind my back.”
You scoffed in utter disbelief and shot up from the ground. “Oh, so I’m the villain now? I’m sorry, saint Klaus, I didn’t know you were so innocent.”
“Don’t start this with me.”
You snapped. “You started this! I have been living in that house with you and your pregnant werewolf, leaving you to your own devices, but the second I try to be happy, I’m the one in the wrong?”
“Y/N-”
“No, I- I can’t even believe what I’m hearing right now.” A laugh escaped from your lips, full of darkness. “I have not done any damage to this marriage.” You pointed at him. “You’re the one who broke your vows, not me. Forgive me for wanting to clutch at any happiness I could have after you took it all from me.”
Klaus pointed right back at you. “Our marriage isn’t over, Y/N- it will never be. I will never let you forget that.”
You shook your head. “This isn’t a marriage anymore.” Klaus’ mouth opened to protest, but you kept going. Everything you held in and didn’t say was coming up like bile in your throat that you desperately wanted to vomit. “You have destroyed this marriage, Klaus! Hell, you destroyed me.” You pointed to yourself, more tears coming to your eyes. “You have cheated not once but three times, and you got the last one pregnant! But the second I- what? The second I so much as talk to a man, you go and rip his heart out and get mad at me? Do you hear how insane that sounds?”
His jaw clenched, and maybe there was some sign of regret or remorse in his eyes, but you honestly couldn’t care less about his feelings at the moment. “Y/N-” he started, but you didn’t dare let him finish.
“No, it’s you who threw a thousand years down the drain, not me.” You took a step closer to him until you were chest to chest and you were looking right into his eyes. Maybe this would’ve ended in a kiss in the past, but your relationship was no longer the same. You grit your teeth.“I will never let you forget that.”
You then sped out of the apartment, running and running and not stopping until you were in an area you no longer recognized. Once you stopped, you let all of your tears fall, resting a hand on your chest and running the other through your hair. Your heart and your head were both pounding. Every time you thought Klaus couldn’t go any lower, he proved you wrong.
So, standing in the middle of nowhere, you grieved the loss of that poor boy, and at the same time, you grieved the loss of the man who was once your best friend. You grieved the loss of your marriage.
Because this was more than just killing a boy.
In doing this, Klaus killed another part of your marriage when you weren’t sure there was even anything left to kill.
After crying your heart out, you returned to the plantation and went straight to sleep. For a week, you stayed in bed, in spite of Rebekah who came knocking on your door every morning. One time, she didn’t leave so quickly after you remained mute. She sat on your bed, demanding that you eat something. When, throughout all her best efforts, you stayed silent, she threw the glass of blood onto the ground, breaking down and sobbing. Tears ran down her face as she pleaded to you, but you only stared at the wall, expressionless.
She apologized to you in between in her tears, even though it wasn’t her fault, even though you were only this way because of Klaus. But, oh, wasn’t that Rebekah’s specialty? Wasn’t that yours—stuck paying for the sins of the hybrid for the rest of your lives?
She cried, and cried, and cried, until she eventually left the room, too exhausted to keep dancing the same dance. She didn’t come back again.
You never cleaned the blood on the floor from the glass she threw. If anything, you hoped it soaked in and ruined the mahogany floors of this god awful house. It wasn’t long before you wouldn’t have to stare at that stain anymore because Klaus had come to tell you that you were leaving. You’d all be going to the Abattoir, he said.
You were confused; that was where Marcel stayed. So, for the first time in a week, you spoke. When you found out about the altercation they had, you recoiled. Both disgust and shock were on your face: disgusted at your husband’s behaviour and shocked with how he was treating Marcel.
You felt like screaming at him, but you didn’t have enough energy. Instead, you just stared at him. With your voice just barely above a whisper, you told him, That is your son, Klaus. You hoped that conveyed everything else you wanted to say. And you knew your message was received when Klaus walked out of your room without another word.
When you arrived at the compound, little changed. You and your husband still didn’t talk. Soon, when your siblings arrived, you didn’t speak to them either. Life went on this way for a long time.
Until Hayley gave birth.
Oh, life had felt so slow, but suddenly it started moving so fast.
When you first laid your eyes on little Hope, tears came to your eyes. She looked just like her father, you thought. And while you had never wanted anything to do with this, what Klaus had done, you couldn’t find it in yourself to condemn an innocent child.
Maybe Rebekah and Elijah would pay for their brother’s mistakes. Maybe you would, too. But you’d be damned if you let that baby suffer solely for being a Mikaelson.
Even if it meant you’d suffer the most.
The night Klaus came to you, you didn’t greet him, but you didn’t look at him so scathingly, either. In the courtyard, he asked something of you that’d change the rest of your life.
“Y/N, I know we’re not on the best of terms- I know I haven’t been a faithful husband, nor a good one,” he admitted, glancing down as if he were nervous before looking back up to your eyes. This was serious, and he wanted you to know that. “I know you don’t deserve this, and I know you never signed up for this. But I need your help.”
You straightened your shoulders. Whatever he was going to say, it looked like it physically pained him to say it. You wondered if this speech was inspired by Elijah, but you diverted your thoughts away from that. This wasn’t about your marriage; this was about something more important.
“You’re the only person I trust enough to do this, the only person I can really ask. It’s wrong of me to put this pressure on you after everything I’ve done, but I wouldn’t be asking if this weren’t so dire- you have to believe me.” He grabbed onto your hands, and you let him, even though it made you want to die, because when your skin made contact, you felt his hands tremble.
“Hope can’t be here; it’s not safe. The people of this city now know she is my weakness, and they will do anything to spite me, you’ve seen it firsthand.” You knew exactly what he was referring to: the day the witches tried to kill her. At the thought, you tensed. You saw tears gather in his eyes. “Please, I need her not to be here right now-”
You cut him off, almost in a state of awe as you realized what this was all about. “You need them to think she’s dead.” Your voice was breathy, like you’d just finished running a marathon, and wasn’t that what life was like in this family? With the Mikaelsons, no matter how powerful you all were, you’d always be running from something, fighting something. That couldn’t happen to Hope- not now, not yet. And so, without so much as another thought, you agreed, “I’ll do it.”
“Y/N-”
“No, Klaus, I’m doing this.” For the first time since you got to New Orleans, he saw a spark in your eye that you both thought had been extinguished. “I’ll take her, and I will protect her with my life.”
After that, he just stared at you for a few seconds. And for a moment, you as you held eye contact, you caught a glimpse of the man you fell in love with. For a moment, it almost felt like everything was alright, like he never cheated and like you never left. For a moment, the world stopped, and it was just you and him against the world.
But you knew better now.
You were startled when your husband suddenly embraced you tightly as if he never wanted to let you go. And then you realized how you couldn’t remember the last time you’d hugged. So, after a few seconds, if not just for the sake of it, you hugged him back. Although he quietly stammered his next words out, he still said them with more sincerity than you’ve heard from him in a long time. “I’m so sorry, Y/N.”
You knew he was referring to more than just what he was asking of you. But, oh, you knew better now.
“I know.”
Not long after you and Klaus had that conversation, you took Hope. For the first time since you met her that day and found out she was pregnant, you actually talked to Hayley. Her eyes widened, like she couldn’t believe it. You told her that this didn’t make you two friends, but you also promised her that you’d look after her daughter.
She thanked you after a beat of silence, and then you and Hope disappeared.
You were gone for a while until your family’s drama eased up and you got the okay to come back to the Quarter. In that time, Hope’s parents missed their daughter’s first Christmas and also her birthday. But you made sure to take all the pictures you could. Even with the way you felt about them both, you weren’t gonna let those feelings get in the way of their relationship with Hope.
Their family, rather. When you returned, you realized that this was no longer your family. Eating dinner with them your first night back only proved that to you. This baby had changed all of you. You no longer knew your husband, and he no longer knew you.
When you first arrived to the compound, Klaus and Hayley came rushing to hug their little girl. The hybrid mouthed a thank you to you as he rubbed Hope’s back, tears in his eyes. The hostility you’d shown him from when he confessed he cheated on you all the way until just before you left New Orleans was gone. You couldn’t find it in you to be hostile as you watched him hold his daughter. In that moment, he was more than the man who betrayed you; he was a father who had been separated from his daughter.
That didn’t mean you forgave him, but you were trying to get there—for Hope.
Rebekah and Elijah showed up not a minute later. The blonde cooed at Hope while Elijah walked toward you, enveloping you in a hug that you couldn’t deny. You were worn out, and all you’d wanted this past year was to not be alone. But, deep down, you knew these efforts were futile. Things with your siblings would never be the same.
Rebekah had once been your best friend, but she was Klaus’ little sister first. Elijah was like an older brother to you, but he was Klaus’ first. The only person who could’ve possibly understood the way you were feeling was Kol, and he was long gone.
So, even as you stood in a room full of people, you still felt just as alone as when it’d only been you and Hope.
However, your epiphany didn’t matter. Maybe if it weren’t for Hope, you would’ve left and never turned back. Maybe you could’ve gone out and tried to find yourself, tried to be that same girl you were starting to like when you left Klaus in 2006. But Hope was there, and so you knew you couldn’t go anywhere. You had to stay with your family, even if they weren’t really your family anymore, because you just had to be there. You needed to protect Hope. You needed to keep Elijah from handling everything, and you needed to keep your little sister from spinning out. You needed to be there for Klaus to fall back on if he needed to, not for him, but to make sure he could be the best father he could possibly be to Hope.
To you, it wasn’t a choice. You needed to do this.
After all, didn’t you promise always and forever?
So, you stayed. You took care of Hope and took care of Klaus when Rebekah couldn’t take it anymore. It was almost as if your once other half and you had a silent agreement. He never tried anything, not even so much as holding your hand, but you were there for him as a friend, even though it broke your heart.
The two of you never officially ended things. Part of you wondered if maybe he thought you would get back together one day, but now you knew better than to ever expect anything like that. Yes, you would stay in the compound. And yes, you would take care of Hope. And yes, you would play nice with the mother of his child. But you were no longer Klaus and Y/N Mikaelson.
You were just Klaus and Y/N.
You never went out with another boy again. It was pointless, and you never wanted to fall for someone again if this was what love felt like, if it only ever brought you pain.
For years, things went this way. There were a few threats here and there, but they were taken care of every time. Hope was the most loved child in the world. She was starting to grow up, and so she was also starting to realize that her parents weren’t together. She was starting to realize that her father looked at the woman that’d been there all her life with a look of warmth in his eyes. She was starting to ask you questions that you didn’t know how to answer, questions you weren’t prepared to answer.
So, on Christmas Eve, after everyone had went to bed, you unscrewed the oldest bottle of liquor you had. You were originally saving it for a celebratory occasion, but you, too, were starting to realize things. You were starting to realize that, perhaps, the celebration would never come.
So you sat on the couch in the courtyard in front of the fireplace, unfazed by the cold. The Christmas tree diagonal to you glimmered and gleamed, but you were no longer so magnetized to it. Something in the last few years had taken away bits and pieces of your spirit until you were no longer sure it was even there anymore.
You took a swig of the wine, indulging in its bittersweetness as you stared straight into the fire, not caring if it’d blind you. For the first time since you turned, you loathed your immortality. At first, you looked at it like a blessing, something that’d give you an eternity with your family, an eternity to travel the world and enjoy all it had to offer you.
But now it was just a curse.
Just as you took another swig, you heard footsteps behind you, and suddenly the couch dipped, someone else sitting right beside you.
You could immediately tell who it was just from the mere grace of his actions. Elijah. You glanced at the nobleman, almost scoffing at his attire. Past midnight, and yet he was still in a suit.
Your voice was raspy as you remarked, “No rest for the wicked, huh?” Elijah sighed as you passed the bottle to him. For a second, you thought he’d scold you for not using a glass, but instead he took a large gulp straight from the bottle.
“It seems that way, Y/N,” he said, passing the bottle back to you. You chuckled, but there wasn’t much humour in your tone. He didn’t ask you why you were awake, nor did you ask him. You just sat together in front fireplace, passing the bottle back and forth. You didn’t know if you were both so silent because of how tired you were or if it was because your relationship had just become that fragile.
Sitting there, no Saint Nick came by in a magic sled. There were no reindeer, or bells, or snow. There was no magic to this holiday for you anymore, and you wondered if Elijah felt the same way. You wondered if he was as tired as he looked right now, as tired as you felt. If he was, then you couldn’t help but feel bad for him because, even though you had felt resentment for him, you wouldn’t wish this on anybody.
Still though, you wondered if you’d be sitting there if Elijah just let you go that day. You wondered how things would’ve turned out if he let himself go, too.
Like he was reading your mind, he suddenly turned to you and whispered, “I’m sorry, Y/N.” You turned to face him. While he looked serious, he looked more broken than you’d ever seen him. “I’m sorry I brought you back to him that day. I’m just now realizing that I’ve never apologized to you before.” You stared at him silently, and so he continued, looking back to the fire. “You could have been happy, and I took that opportunity away from you. So I am sorry.” He paused, like he was debating on saying something, a glazed look in his eyes as he lightly muttered, “More sorry than you’ll ever know.”
For what felt like forever but was really just a minute, you didn’t say anything. You, too, turned back to the fire, biting your lip as you tried to articulate what you wanted to say. “I think… I think, at the end of the day, it doesn’t matter.” You saw him turn back to you out of the corner of your eye, but you didn’t look back. You didn’t know if you could say this while looking at him. “I think it would’ve ended up like this, anyway. I was his wife, not his keeper, but that didn’t matter. My love for him would’ve always made me stay and look after him, even though it kills me inside, even though I think I died a long time ago.” You swallowed. “My mother used to tell me to watch how boys treat me, but Nik wasn’t just any boy. I was so enthralled by the beauty of the fire that I didn’t care if I’d get burned- God, I just wanted to feel warm.” Unknowingly, a tear fell down your cheek. At that moment, you turned to your brother to see him watching you intently. You shook your head, giving him a small smile. “It wasn’t your fault, Elijah, it was mine. I should’ve known better.”
At that, you got up, leaving the bottle with Elijah, and you walked back to your room. You didn’t sleep that night, but when Hope came running into your room in the morning, screaming that Santa came, you pretended to be asleep so that she could wake you.
You sat through the opening of presents, Elijah looking at you differently than before. And you’d sit through multiple Christmases after this one.
No matter how much it hurt you or how it unhealthy it was, you knew you were locked in now, and you threw away the key ages ago. You couldn’t get off this ride, not even if you tried to.
Maybe, if you didn’t let Klaus pull you back in time and time again, then you wouldn’t be stuck. But you did, and now all you could do was just sit and let the roller coaster run its course, no matter how sick it made you or how many tears would leave your eyes when no one was watching.
Now, you’d be here always and forever. But you still couldn’t help but think-
You should’ve known better.
cups of wine
klaus mikaelson x reader
summary: you had just found out of elijah’s affair, and klaus was right there to comfort you.
warnings: small angst, soft klaus, mentions of cheating
Tumblr media
"i believe you've had enough, dear." you heard niklaus say once again, trying to take away the cup of wine off your hands. you furrowed your eyebrows in annoyance, moving the cup to your red lips once again. you lost count of how many cups of wine you’ve drank, you just knew it wasn’t enough.
klaus sighed as he looked worriedly and pitifully at you. truth is, you were cheated on. by elijah. you had just found out. your eyes watered as you remember what you had seen earlier in the day.
you let out a relaxed breath, while you stepped foot into your shared house with the original vampire. work had been rough today, so you wanted nothing more than to kiss and be pampered by your boyfriend. you walked up the stairs, up to your room, your confusion increasing as you heard muffled sounds coming from your bedroom. did he have anyone over?
your heart broke as you heard her voice, well, her moans. hayley. you shook your head in denial behind the closed door. there was no way this was happening. maybe she was hurt and elijah was helping her. there was no way! your boyfriend loved you. he did. he reminded you everyday and he had never given you any reason to doubt him. he would never. right?
your heart was shattered into a million pieces when you opened the door to your bedroom. there they were. lost in your velvet sheets, their bodies tangled with one another's. you felt the air getting thinner, you couldn't breathe. you tried your hardest to catch your breath, as hot tears ran down your cheeks. your attempts at catching your breath must have been loud, because the two lovers seemed to stopped their passionate sex, startled by your presence.
"y/n!" said your boyfriend, standing up from the bed, a blanket now wrapped around his waist. you couldn't look at him, you shook your head, turning around on your heel and walking down the stairs. you ignored his calls, while he ran after you. you didn't care what he had to say. you grabbed your things, ignoring his every word, it was like he no longer existed to you.
you had told him before. that cheating was something you could never forgive. he knew there was no going back if he ever cheated on you. and here he is. with your eyes blurred with endless tears, you took off the necklace he had gifted you, not wanting to own anything that belonged to him, and placed it down on the kitchen counter.
"won't you let me explain, please?" elijah begged, but you ignored him yet again. you were done. he bit his lip anxiously, whilst he watched you break right in front of his eyes. he watched the tears that wouldn't stop falling from your eyes, your quivering lips and shaking hands.
"we're over." was the only thing you said to elijah, before you left.
you laughed sadly, remembering how pathetic you must have looked. klaus sighed, watching your every action. everyone already knew what had happened. klaus has always been your best friend, imagine his anger when he found out what his brother had done to you. imagine the rage he felt when he found out that the woman he loved was hurting, and because of his relative.
"that's enough, y/n. you've had too much already." klaus said, his hand reaching towards your cup, but you shook your head, taking the last sip of your now empty glass.
"your brother cheated on me, nik. what do you expect me to do?" you asked, your speech slurred. you were definitely tipsy, but it seemed like even the alcohol couldn't numb your pain. you raised your hand suddenly, intending to order another cup of wine, before klaus stopped you.
"no, love. i'm taking you home." klaus said, his hand wrapping around your waist, helping you stand. you shook your head, as you refuted. you needed more. it wasn't enough. you still hurt, you needed more. "come on." klaus said lovingly, walking you out of the mystic grill.
"no! 'm not drunk!" you attempted to say, hiccups interrupting you. klaus leaned you against a wall, for support, as he looked for his car keys in his pockets. "just one more." you begged, raising up one finger infront of klaus' face. he shook his head, and you pouted. klaus grabbed his keys, and wrapped his hand around you once again.
"let's go.” he said softly, while he gently walked you towards his car. you looked at him, as you attempted to walk, stumbling your way through, your legs getting tangled various times. “easy there, love.” klaus said gently, as he continued to help you walk.
klaus was handsome. so beautifully handsome. you couldn’t help but stare at him. god, he was so breathtakingly gorgeous. you couldn’t believe you had never actually noticed his immense beauty. you stopped walking out of no where, earning a confused look from the hybrid.
"you're- handsome." you confessed, smiling sweetly at him. klaus almost melted. he chuckled a bit.
"i know, love. now, let's keep going" klaus replied, a big smirk on his face, grabbing your arm once again, before you shook him off.
"no-why- why didn't i go for you?" you mumbled, loud enough for him to hear. klaus stopped dead in his tracks, widen eyes looking at you. "you'd never... hurt me." you said, dropping your head in both tiredness and in defeat. klaus frowned at your words. because you were right. he would never.
"let me get you home, alright, dear?" klaus spoke up yet again, trying to find your eyes. his heart sank as he heard a sob leaving your lips. you broke down entirely infront of the deadly hybrid, your hand gripping your chest.
"hurts." you tried saying, your slurred speech making it hard for the hybrid to understand you. you cried. loud, desperate sobs filling the sidewalk you both stood on. klaus cursed his brother for making you feel this way, wrapping you into his strong arms, his warmth bringing you the comfort you so desperately needed. he didn’t say a word, just gave you the space to cry it out, to let it out for once. after a few minutes of crying, you looked up at him. your chin rested on his strong chest, tears still running down your wet cheeks as you spoke up.
“help me hurt him back.” you said, hiccups and sobs making it difficult for you to speak. klaus’ thumbs dried your wet cheeks, hearing your every word, wanting nothing more than to help you and make you feel better at last.
“kiss me…” you begged, your hands tightening around his waist. klaus looked at you shocked by your request.
“love..”
“please?” you begged yet again, more tears leaving your eyes, and causing klaus’ heart to tighten again. his thumbs continued to dry your tears, or at least try to.
“i can’t do that, y/n.” klaus replied, his voice full of pity. he adored you. he was sure you were the love of his life. but he couldn’t have you when you were like this. he wouldn’t kiss you just for revenge. you frowned, shaking your head, your hands grabbing his shirt and making a fist out of them.
“please— nothing will hurt him more than this.” you managed to say, closing your eyes, feeling the delicate touches on your cheeks by klaus. you heard him sigh deeply, his hand now placing strands of your hair behind his ear.
“why don’t we get you home?” klaus added, his hands now running to your shoulders. your head dropped yet again, before klaus lead you towards his car. he helped you into his passenger seat, adjusting your seat belt, and soon drove you home.
it was a silent ride most of the time. all there could be heard would be your cries. klaus was tensed, not knowing what to do to make you feel better. comforting people wasn’t his strongest suit, but he wanted to help you. he just didn’t know how to. soon enough, the car came to a stop. you looked outside the window, finding your house. you had arrived. you took a deep breath, your head now on the head rest, exhausted from all the crying and hurt you had to endure today.
“i just—” you started, earning a look from klaus. “don’t understand. i— i was good to him.” you said, looking at klaus. “really! i was loving, i treated him with respect, i loved him, i— i was good!” you said, as if trying to convince klaus. klaus nodded along, because he knew.
“why wasn’t i good enough?” you asked, a sad chuckle leaving your lips, your hands drying your eyes. “what did i do wrong?” you asked, your voice breaking mid sentence. klaus soon grabbed your face into his hands, his thumbs stroking your cheeks gently.
“nothing, love. you did absolutely nothing wrong.” klaus replied, his eyes saddening at the sight of a broken you. “you are and will always be good enough.” klaus said softly.
“then why…? why did elijah— why did he…?” you tried asking, but the lump in your throat didn’t allow you to finish, as you broke down yet again, tears were wiped away yet again by the hybrid, as he shook his head.
“because he is idiotic, darling. he’s an imbecile for even thinking of the possibility of ever loving anyone else but you.” klaus said softly, his eyes staring directly into yours. one of his hands patted your head gently. “don’t shed more tears for him, i beg. he’s undeserving of them.”
you swallowed your tears and nodded your head slowly, earning a kind smile from klaus. you tried reciprocating his smile, yet only offered him a frown. klaus sighed softly, his head tilting gently.
“i shall make it my cause, that they never know a moment of happiness in their entire life.” klaus said sternly, yet sweetly to you. “i will make them suffer in ways that their idiotic, spoiled minds can never even come close to imagining.” klaus continued. you shook your head immediately. you didn’t want anything to happen to them. you just never wanted to be associated with them ever again, never have to see them again. but that was impossible and you knew it.
“please, don’t— it’s okay.” you pleaded, shaking your head. klaus let out a deep breath, as he listened to you. “i’m okay.” you faked a smile, one that klaus didn’t buy. you sighed. “i deserved this.” you said sadly, your words lighting up a fire in klaus’ heart.
“you what?” klaus asked, angered by your comment.
“i probably deserved this. i mean, of course all i did for him wasn’t enough! how could it be? how could i be?— how could i even ask for love? how dared i believe i could actually be happy?” you continued, sadly chuckling. “how could i actually believe someone like elijah could ever loved me? i must have been insane.” you laughed, the back of your hands wiping away your falling tears. klaus bit his lip in anger.
“do you actually believe that, y/n?” klaus asked, his hands still resting on your soft cheeks. you nodded, whilst offering him a small, heartbreaking smile.
klaus felt his heart sank. he couldn’t allow this. he could not allow the love of his life to degrade herself this much. he couldn’t stand it. his eyes had watered as he heard you speak so low of yourself. you weren’t allowed to.
slowly but surely, klaus placed his soft lips on top of yours, kissing you in the most sweeter and kinder way possible. you were taken back by his actions, but kissed him back regardless. his lips were sweet, and so incredibly soft. klaus kissed you gently, offering you place to pull away from his kiss, yet you never did. the kiss was somewhat short, but filled with so much love and affection, that you could feel it in your bones.
“please don’t speak so ill of the woman i love. i will not allow it.” klaus whispered, you felt his breath by your lips. you opened your eyes to stare into his gorgeous hazel eyes. you opened your mouth to speak, yet klaus spoke before you.
“why don’t you get some rest, love? we may talk again in the morning if you desire to.” klaus said, talking off his seat belt and soon helping you out of the car. you were star struck, absolutely speechless by what had just happened. but you only knew one thing.
klaus mikaelson loved you.
The streets of New Orleans pulsed with life, and Y/N, Klaus Mikaelson's spirited and vivacious girlfriend, seemed to embody the very essence of the city's energy. She reveled in the thrill of the night, seeking joy and adventure wherever she went. But little did she know that her vibrant spirit was causing a storm within the Mikaelson family.
Rebekah and Elijah, Klaus's siblings, observed with disapproval as Y/N led Klaus into the wild festivities of the French Quarter. They detested her carefree nature, seeing her as a disruption to the carefully constructed order of their lives. In their eyes, Y/N was a distraction, a youthful folly that would only lead Klaus astray. The siblings had made their opinions known countless times, urging Klaus to end the relationship. They saw her as a threat to their family's stability and tried to set him up with a "more suitable" woman— a 30-year-old socialite whose poise and maturity contrasted sharply with Y/N's exuberance.
One evening, as the Mikaelson family gathered for a somber dinner, tensions reached their breaking point. Rebekah and Elijah, fueled by their desire to protect their brother, confronted Y/N, leveling accusations of infidelity.
“You're nothing but trouble,” Rebekah hissed, her eyes flashing with disdain. “You're not right for Nik.”
Y/N's face paled, her heart pounding in her chest. “What are you talking about? I love Klaus with all my heart,” she protested, her voice trembling.
Elijah shook his head, his tone cutting like a blade. “You're young, reckless, and unreliable,” he stated coldly. “You're only going to hurt him.”
Tears welled up in Y/N's eyes as she struggled to find the right words to defend herself. She had always tried to be honest with Klaus, to give him everything he deserved, but now she felt like she was being torn apart by the very people she had hoped to call family.
“I love him,” she repeated, her voice breaking. “I would never hurt him, and I would never cheat on him.”
But her words fell on deaf ears, and the Mikaelson siblings remained adamant in their disapproval. Klaus, torn between his love for Y/N and his loyalty to his family, was caught in the crossfire of their bitter dispute. For days, the rift between Y/N and the Mikaelson siblings grew wider. Each encounter was fraught with tension, with accusations and misunderstandings that only deepened the wounds. Y/N felt isolated and alone, her heart heavy with the weight of their judgments.
One night, as the moon hung low in the sky, Klaus found Y/N sitting alone by the fireplace, tears silently streaming down her cheeks. He approached her, his heart aching at the sight of her pain.
“Love talk to me,” he pleaded, his voice soft with concern.
She looked up at him, her eyes filled with sorrow. “Your family hates me,” she whispered. “They think I'm not good enough for you.”
Klaus wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close. “I don't care what they think,” he said firmly. “I love you and I won't let them come between us.”
But as the days turned into weeks, the constant pressure from his family weighed heavily on Klaus's mind. Doubts began to seep into his heart, and he found himself torn between his love for Y/N and the desire to mend the fractures in his family. In the depths of his turmoil, Klaus faced an impossible choice— to stand by the woman he loved or to appease his family by letting her go. His heart and mind waged war within him, leaving him in a state of inner turmoil that threatened to consume him.
As the darkness of uncertainty loomed over their once blissful relationship, Y/N and Klaus were left to navigate the shadows of doubt and find a way back to each other. The storm of angst and heartache showed no signs of abating, leaving them with the ultimate question…could love conquer all or would the family's disapproval be too much to bear?
A few months had passed without another confrontation from his siblings but that silence period was over today. The Mikaelson mansion stood in silence, its opulent halls shrouded in a heavy tension that seemed to seep into the very air. Y/N, the vibrant and spirited love of Klaus Mikaelson's life, felt the weight of disapproval from his siblings bearing down on her like a storm cloud. At 23, her heart beat fiercely with a passion for life, but to Elijah and Rebekah, she was nothing more than a youthful whirlwind that threatened the delicate balance they had carefully crafted.
It was a chilly evening, and as Y/N wandered through the dimly lit corridors, her footsteps echoing emptily, she couldn't shake the sense of unease that seemed to linger around her. The disapproving glances, the hushed conversations that ceased when she entered a room— all of it gnawed at her soul. It had been months since she had embarked on a romantic journey with Klaus, a love that burned with an intensity she had never known before. But even that powerful connection couldn't shield her from the critical eyes of his siblings.
Rebekah's icy words had sliced through the air like a blade. “You're just a child, Y/N,” she had said with a condescending tilt of her head. “My brother deserves someone who understands the dangers of our world.”
And Elijah, the embodiment of elegance and poise, had looked at her with a mixture of pity and dismissal. “Klaus is not one to be taken lightly,” he had warned. “You need to be more mature, more level headed.”
Each word had etched itself into Y/N's heart, a constant reminder of her perceived inadequacy in the eyes of those she so desperately wanted to accept her. As she entered the living room, she found Klaus standing by the grand window, nursing a tumbler of bourbon in his hand. His gaze was distant, his features etched with a mixture of frustration and weariness. She approached him, her heart aching at the distance she felt growing between them.
“Klaus,” she murmured, her voice soft and uncertain.
He turned to her, his eyes meeting hers with a mix of conflict and affection. “Y/N,” he said, his voice tinged with a hint of regret.
The silence that followed was heavy, a chasm that seemed to swallow their words before they could be spoken.
“I can't do this anymore love,” Klaus finally confessed, his voice breaking the stillness.
Y/N's heart shattered, the pain more intense than she could have ever imagined. “What do you mean?” she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Klaus's gaze was tortured, his emotions warring within him. “Elijah and Rebekah,” he said with a sigh. “They won't accept us. They think you're too young, too impulsive.”
Tears welled in Y/N's eyes, and she felt a lump forming in her throat. “And what do you think?” she choked out, her voice quivering.
Klaus reached for her, his hand cupping her cheek with tenderness. “I love you,” he said, his voice raw with emotion. “But I can't keep going against my family. It's tearing us apart.”
The pain in Y/N's chest was suffocating, a weight that threatened to crush her. “So, what are you saying?” she asked, her voice shaking.
“I'm saying that we need to take a step back,” Klaus admitted, his voice barely audible. “Perhaps it's best for both of us.”
Y/N's heart shattered completely, and she took a step back, her eyes welling with tears. “You're choosing them over me?” she whispered, her voice cracking.
Klaus's eyes filled with anguish, and he reached out to her, his fingers brushing against her cheek. “Y/N…” he started desperately. “I love you, but I can't keep fighting this battle. I'm sorry sweetheart.”
The room seemed to close in around her, and Y/N turned and fled, her heartache echoing in the emptiness that surrounded her. Days turned into weeks, and the absence of Klaus felt like an ache that she couldn't escape. She could feel the weight of his absence in every corner of her life, a constant reminder of what once was.
As she stared out at the moonlit night, Y/N realized that love was not always enough to conquer the obstacles that life placed in its path. She had lost the man she loved, not because he didn't care, but because the world they lived in was too complicated, too tangled with expectations. lol She whispered his name into the night, her heart heavy with sorrow, Y/N learned that sometimes love wasn't enough to mend the fractures that threatened to tear their world apart. And in that painful realization, she felt the bittersweet ache of a love that had been both beautiful and heart wrenching—a love that would forever remain etched in her soul.
Bloody Mikaelson’s - Kol Mikaelson x Reader
Tumblr media
Pairing: Kol x Reader
Prompt: Kol is jealous about you being affectionate with everyone but him. He decides to tag along when you go shopping to try and get you to like him more. Fluff and confessions ensue!
Warning: Smut (?)
ENJOY!!
****
You sat down next to Niklaus on the sleek leather couch, phone in one hand and a cup of coffee in the other. As you lent against him, his arm automatically wrapped around your shoulders. You and Klaus were best friends, the kinda of friends that spoon at night and talk about relationship problems. You sighed contently as you sipped your coffee. Despite his psychotic tendencies Niklaus was the biggest cuddle whore ever.
“What the hell! Why do you cuddle Nik like that and not me?” You heard a childish voice ask, looking up you see Kol stood there his arms opened wide like he was waiting for an explanation.
“Because little brother if she did, you’d try something extremely unrefined.” You heard Elijah’s sophisticated voice chuckle. You smiled when Elijah bent down and place a loving kiss on your forehead. To Elijah and Rebekah you were like a little sister.
“More so than you already do.” Nik added smirking to himself as he took a sip of your coffee that you hadn’t even realised he’d taken. You shot him a glare taking your coffee back before glancing up at Kol who was just glaring at everyone.
“Elijah gets to kiss you! Nik gets to cuddle you! What do I get!?” He growled angrily.
“A punch in the face if you carry on Kol.” You grunted as you went back to reading a post you had seen on Facebook. You heard a deep smooth chuckle from behind you resulting in you throwing you head back, hanging upside down to see Marcel stood directly in behind of you. Meaning your face was about 5 inches away from Marcel’s crotch. You stared at the fabric covering his jeans trying to see the shape.
“Are you finished staring at my crotch Y/N.” Marcel snorted making you tilt you head slightly.
“I’m trying to see if the myths about black guys is true.” You replied bluntly before sitting up and turning to Marcel kneeling up so you were looking into his eyes.
“It’s not always true but in Marcel’s case it is.” You heard a smug voice add, you looked behind Marcel to see Rebekah stood there with a smirk. She threw you a wink and walked over to sit with you.
“Jesus Bekah you got the full package huh? Voice that’s makes your panties wet, ripped as fuck, looks to die for and a big dick.” She laughed at your dreamy voice making you smirk.
“Y/N I adore you however if you could refrain from talking with my sister about her boyfriend’s genitals I would much appreciate it.” Elijah sighed shaking his head lightly as he continued to read.
“Sorry ‘Lijah, Nik.” You added knowing he was probably uncomfortable too. You scrolled through your Instagram liking a few picture along the way before you felt someone trying to shuffle there way between you and Klaus. You knew it was Kol straight away.
“Kol what are you doing?” You huffed making him stop moving as he settled down next to you. Earning himself a glare from Klaus.
“I’m coming to cuddle! I deserve affection too!” He exclaimed pairing his enthusiasm with a cheeky grin.
“Really Kol? I mean really?” You deadpanned making him shrug.
He wrapped his arm around you resulting in an eye roll on your part. You weren’t the closet with Kol, mainly because you never really spoke, not because you didn’t like each other. He irritated you and teased you but you knew it was all in good fun. You didn’t move away from his arm but you didn’t snuggle into him like you did Niklaus and sometimes Elijah. Elijah liked to cuddle on occasions, mainly when he was stressed. You continued scrolling through your Instagram, seeing a racy lingerie photo posted by one of the photographers you follow. You smiled and opened the comment box.
‘This is beautiful Jason.’ You commented on the photo before look at the picture again. It might be a lingerie photo but the way it was taken was art not sexual.
“Ooo I think you should do a photo like that and give it me for my birthday!” You heard Kol say from right next to you. You unwrapped his arm from you and moved to the opposite couch were Elijah was sat.
“Dammit come on Darling I was only joking!” Kol whined like a child who had just had his favorite toy taken from him. You didn’t respond instead picking up a pillow from the couch and throwing it at him. He caught it with ease and grinned very much resembling the Cheshire cat.
“Kol what did you do this time?” You heard a soft voice ask from behind you. You knew by the voice that it was Freya but you decided to drop Kol in it.
“He asked me for lingerie pictures for his birthday.” You pouted angrily as you looked at Freya with slight puppy dog eyes.
“Kol Mikaelson! That is no way to treat a lady!” Elijah and Freya shouted at the same time, I smiled at how much they were a like sometimes and turned to Kol who looked like he was ashamed in what he had just said.
“Sorry Y/N.” He muttered softly making you feel bad for ratting him out.
“It’s okay Kol. Anyway I’m going out today so I’ll see you guys later!” You hopped off the couch before you were stop by Niklaus.
“Where are you going?” Nik asked looking up from what he was doing.
“I’m going shopping. I realised I haven’t got much and I’ve been borrowing Rebekah’s clothes since I got here.” You smiled at him sweetly before leaning down and giving him a kiss on the cheek.
“Can I come with you?” You heard an unexpected voice ask. You looked over at Kol in surprise but nodded anyway because maybe it would do you some good to bond with Kol. After getting ready you met Kol in the courtyard, double checking you had your credit card and phone. Once you were sure you had them you nodded at Kol who offered you his arm. You smiled sweetly and took his arm gently before you both made your way out onto the bustling streets of New Orleans.
You stopped at the first shop and Kol had yet to let go of your arm which you found extremely endearing. As much as he was cheeky he was still a Mikaelson which meant he had to be at least 5% gentleman. You picked up a few different colored pairs of jeans, a few pairs of plain black leggings, some skirts and shorts before handing them to Kol who let go of your arm to help. You next went to get some plain vest tops, some crop tops and a few different types of blouses. You knew you and Bekah would most likely have a shopping spree soon so you only bought things you needs. Next you grabbed things like socks and tights, you tried to pay for them but Kol refused to let me and gave the woman his card. Kol took them bags from you and held them all in one hand before offering you his arm once again which made you grin threading your arm with his once again.
You laid your head on his bicep as you made your way to the nearest shoe shop. You strolled in with Kol and picked up a few different styles of heels and only 2 pairs of flats. One pair was running shoes and the other were a pair of sandals. You usually wore heels so you didn’t usually buy flats. They were only for when it was too hot and you couldn’t be bothered with the strain heels had on your feet. Once again Kol ignored your pleas to stop her paid for your shoes too. The last stop was a lingerie shop which made you snort slightly, remembering Kol’s teasing earlier. When you got inside you made your way to the simple 2 pieces sets. You looked the racks up and down before turning to Kol who unexpectedly looked quite uncomfortable.
You smiled reassuringly and quickly grabbed a few sets that you liked before making your way to the register, arm still linked with Kol’s. You set the stuff down smiling sweetly at the elderly woman behind the counter. Kol took out his card making me whine.
“Kol I can pay for them you don’t have to.” You sighed guiltily. He let out a chuckle grinning at you softly.
“I want to Darling.” He stated his pet name making you blush slightly.
“How long have you two been Married?” The little old lady asked as she accepted Kol’s card. You blushed further and was about to correct her but Kol nudge you and grinned.
“Not long.” Kol replied sweetly making you look at him with slightly widened eyes. After he retrieved the bags you made your way outside before you nudge him angrily.
“Why did you let her believe we were married?” You asked softly yet the hint of anger still evident in your voice.
“Because it’s not like we’re going to see her much and why spoil an old woman’s day by embarrassing her.” Kol stated with a small chuckle.
“So Mrs. Mikaelson how about we go get some food at the pub and then get all this stuff home?” He teased making you grin at his antics.
“Well if you insist Mr. Mikaelson.” You flirted. You grabbed some of the bags so you could intertwine your arms again which made him smile. After ate and laughed together you finally made it home Kol shouted at the top of his.
“Y/N and I got married while we were out.” He knew his voice would reach everyone in the house and soon Nik and Rebekah came running out with wide eyes which made you laugh so hard you had to lean into Kol for support.
“You did what!?” Rebekah screeched making me laugh even harder.
“Yeah it was great there was sexy lingerie.” He nodded happily you saw the game he was playing and you decided to play along.
“Heels too die for.” I added nodding my head seriously.
“The dress she bought was absolutely beautiful.” Kol sighed dreamily almost making me crack.
“I contemplated getting my hair done but decided there wasn’t much point.” I shrugged.
“Oh and then we had a meal and a glass of wine!” Koll finished.
“Tell me you’re joking!?” Rebekah screamed her voice reaching the higher pitched stage. You looked at Niklaus who looked at you with wide eyes.
“But…But I had everything planned in my head!” Rebekah yelled making me and Kol look at her confusedly.
“Planned? Planned for what?” You asked cautiously.
“Yours and Kol’s wedding! Duhh!” She huffed angrily.
“What!?” You and Kol screamed in unison!
“We were joking Bekah! An old woman thought we were married and we didn’t correct her.” You replied laughing awkwardly.
“Oh okay that’s good because I planned everything.” Rebekah stated more calmly this type.
“Rebekah, Kol and I aren’t even dating…Why would we get married?” You asked looking up at Kol who just shrugged at you with wide eyes.
“I’m a woman that’s been around for 1000 years and I know that Kol is very clea-”
“Okay!!! That’s enough of that! Why don’t we go put your new stuff away?” Kol screamed interrupting Rebekah, his cheeks slightly flushed.
You shrugged it off and decided to follow Kol with the bags you were holding. Once you got to your room you fell forward onto the bed after dropping the bags. Kol fell onto it next to you, his warm brown eyes staring into your Y/E/C ones. You smiled sweetly at him before he reached over and tuck some of your hair behind your ear. You closed your eyes enjoying the feeling of his rough hand against your soft flesh. His hand lingered for a while before he pulled back making you almost whine at the loss of contact. You had been alive for over 200 years but Kol’s touch wasn’t like anything you’d felt before. It was gentle and loving, it undoubtedly made your heart flutter. You opened your eyes to see him staring at you like he had a question on the tip of his tongue but he couldn’t find the courage to voice it. Which you found ironic since he was usually so sure of himself.
You smiled at him shyly knowing full well you had a blush covering your cheeks. His hand reached back out but this time it gently cupped your cheek. You nuzzled into his hands before looking back into his eyes. You had both somehow rolled onto your sides in a loose fetal position, knees touching slightly. His thumb circled you cheek gently before he spoke up.
“I really want to kiss you right now.” He whispered softly, looking into your eyes as he spoke. You didn’t respond just looked at him waiting for him to reach over. He sat up leaning on his elbow as he lent down and brushed his lips over yours. You reached between your bodies your hand gently gripping his t-shirt. You finally felt you lips meets and it was like you heart was beating so fast it would leap out of your chest, your stomach was going wild with the strength of the butterfly’s you were currently experiencing. After a few minutes of tender kisses he pulled away slowly. You sighed happily as his eyes met yours once again. He laid back down on his side.
“Y/N I think I’m in love with you.” His voice was timid and scared you would reject him but his confession only made you heart leap with happiness. When you didn’t say anything he started getting up which made you panic.
“Kol…” He turned round to look at you, sadness in his eyes.
“W-Will you please make love to me?” You asked timidly a blush bracing your face once again.
“I know I’m not in love with you yet but you make my heart beat louder than it ever should, when you kissed me I felt like everything disappeared so if you give me time I think I could fall in love you…If I haven’t already…” You whispered your eyes meeting his as he stared at you with the biggest grin you’ve ever seen him were but this time it was filled with love and hope.
He rushed over to you as you knelt at the end of the bed. His lips crushed against yours his emotions bursting out through the kiss. His hands cupped both your cheeks, your hands were gripping his t-shirt as he gently laid you down. He hovered over you, his body on top of yours but not uncomfortable. You gripped his biceps as you whimpered into the kiss, your heart was going a mile a minute. He broke the kiss only to trail soft kisses down your neck causing you to shiver. His hands slid to the hem of your shirt tugging it slightly he looked up at you as asking for permission, you nodded biting you lip which made him groaned.
You both sat up so he could pulled you top off tenderly. You tugged his top off and dropped it on the floor before taking your bra off and letting it join the pile of clothes by your bed. He gazed at you appreciatively before laying you back down. His lips were soon kissing slowly down your neck to you breast before taking one of your nipples into his mouth gently swirling his tongue while using his left hand to caress your thighs. You let out a soft moan as he moved to your other nipple showing it the same affection.
His hand finally made its way to the button on your jeans. He undid the button before pulling away for my breast, pulling down your jeans and plum coloured lace that was under your jeans. He let them poll on the floor before kissing your stomach softly, his hands sliding up your thighs. You gasped as his thumb found its way to your clit, his kiss slowly getting closer to your appending arousal. You hummed in appreciation as his thumb made small delicate circles on your clit.
His lips moved to your thigh before kissing up until it reached your sex. His breath brushed over your dripping heat before it finally made contact. It started of slow and seductive but soon turned so dominant and fast. You were a writhing mess of moans and panting as you felt you orgasm approach. His tongue dip inside you a few time before it continues its assault on your clit.
“K-Kol gonna cum..” You panted as you felt your end coming nearer with every move of his tongue.
“Let it go baby…I got you.” He whispered sweetly his finger slowly entering you, curling to reach your most treasure spot. He went back to kitten licks as his fingers did the rest of the work.
“F-Fuck Kol feels so good…” You whined. You were so close to the edge you would practically taste it. And finally you fell.
“M’ cumming Kol…Holy shit!” You moaned loudly you hand clutching the bed sheets as your back arched up, your mouth falling open in a silent scream of pleasure. Koll pulled back and stared at your with a small smile.
“Good you look beautiful when you cum.” He leaned over and kissed your forehead gently. You were still panting at he pulled back undoing his jeans. You reached over as soon as his member was free but he stopped you shaking his head making you frown.
“Not that I don’t want your hand or mouth wrapped round…It’s just I feel need to feel you right now.” That sentence should have sounded dirty but when Kol said it, it sounded like pure love. You nodded and opened your legs further, he slid in between them. You slid your arms round his neck embracing him like he was breakable. He kissed your lips tenderly and he lined himself up with your entrance. You were panting slightly, gripping onto him tightly. He slid himself into you at an agonizingly slow pace but you knew this wasn’t him fucking you. This was him showing you how much you mean to him and that was better than a quick fuck.
“F-Fuck!” He swore his head resting against the point where your shoulder and neck meets. His breathing was heavy and he was gripping the sheets tightly. You knew he was trying to control himself so you cupped his cheeks and brought him up so you were face to face. You stared into his eyes as if tell him ‘thank you’ and ‘you’re doing so well’. He gave you a shaky smile and began slowly thrusting into you. You gripped onto his shoulders as your breathing started getting heavier as well. He changed his angles so he could hit your g-spot which made you arch up and whimper at the amount of love and pleasure you were feeling all at once.
Once you collected yourself slightly. You move you both into a different position so you could be closer. Kol sat on the edge of the bed, his legs hanging off the bed. You were sat in his lap, your chest and forehead pressed against his as you continued to move your hips. You were thrusting forward instead of up and down so your clit was gently rubbing as his pubic bone with every thrust. You threw you head back letting out a moan, Kol’s lips going straight to you throat placing soft wet kisses on the hollow of your throat. You started to feel yourself building steadily, moaned husky moans and panting getting loud with each thrust.
“Y/N I’m c-close..” Kol panted against your throat making you shutter out a breath.
“Me t-too…Cum with me…” You stuttered before letting out another choked sob. Your pace got slightly fast as your orgasm was finally reaching its peak. You pulled back and look into Kol’s eyes, His left hand cupping you cheek and he stared at you with so many unspoken words. His brows were furrowed and his eyes kept trying to shut as he neared his end. One arm wrapped around his neck and the other placed on his chest.
“I’m c-cumming..” You whispered against his lips your panting loud and deep. He nodded letting you know he was too you gasped as you finally came, your walls clenching around Kol triggering his orgasm.
Once you had ridden out your orgasms, Kol picked you up with shaky legs and laid you on the bed carefully. He crawled under the covers with you and pulled you into his chest, kissing you hair lovingly.
“I love you Y/N and I’ll wait forever if it means you’ll love me back.” Kol’s stated his voice was quiet and spent after earlier activities.
“It won’t take as long as you think…” I muttered into his chest before placing a kiss on his chest bone.
BANG!!
“It’s about bloody time!” Rebekah screamed as she slammed to door open.
“For the love of all that is bloody holy! Rebekah get out!” Kol screamed making you jump slightly which made him look down at you.
“I’m sorry baby I didn’t mean to make you jump…” He muttered apologetically.
“It’s okay. Nik! Can you respectfully drag your lovely sister…who I adore…out of my bloody room!” You screamed only making Kol chuckle but also making sure everything was covered before Nik came in. Nik soon came in and pushed Rebekah out the room but turn to look at us.
“I’m happy for you both. Hurt her Kol and I’ll dagger you.” Niklaus threatened before leaving the room and closing the door on his way out.
A confused Elijah shakes his head one more time before going downstairs and into the kitchen. He greets his sister with a “good morning,” and receives one back, before the girl eyes him suspiciously.
“You wore that shirt yesterday, did you not?”
“How could you tell, Bex? They’re all the same,” Kol interrupts before he can respond.
“There’s a little wrinkle there, and I know how much you hate wrinkles.”
Elijah sighs, “actually, I did. It’s the strangest thing, I can’t find so many of my shirts. My others are in the wash at the moment, leaving me with this one.”
“Missing shirts? How odd.”
“My thoughts exactly. I have no idea where they might be.”
Kol’s face changes to a smirk. “Might have something to do with the little wolf upstairs.”
“What are you talking about?”
“I mean, I’m not saying she stole them, but you might want to check with her.”
“Are you insinuating Y/N is stealing my clothes? Why would you accuse her of something like that?”
“I’m not accusing her of anything, brother, I’m just saying, she might know where they are.”
In fact, Kol knows exactly where all his missing shirts are. You have taken them. He saw it for himself when he went to check on you the other night. He had entered the room before you had time to hide them, and he chuckled at the sight, but promised not to tell Elijah. But that didn’t mean he couldn’t hint at his knowledge of where they are.
Elijah sighs, annoyed at the situation, and now at his brother. “I don’t like you talking about her like that.”
“I’m not saying anything bad! Sorry I said anything. Your shirts can stay missing for all I care.” With that, Kol leaves the room.
As he passes the threshold, another brother enters. “What’s his problem?” Nik gestures to the brooding sibling on his way back upstairs.
“Nothing of concern, Niklaus, we just had a scuffle.”
“What kind of scuffle?”
“Have you seen where any of Elijah’s shirts have gone, Nik? He can’t seem to find them,” Rebekah interrupts the conversation.
“This scuffle is about shirts? Are we serious?”
“Well Kol thinks Y/N knows where they are, but-”
“-I have no idea why he would think that,” Elijah finishes.
“Again,” Klaus pinches his nose in disbelief, “the argument is over shirts? I have more important business to handle.” And with that, he storms out to the balcony.
Rebekah and Elijah look at each other.
“I guess it wouldn’t hurt to ask her, ‘Lijah.”
“Alright,” he says finally, “I’ll ask.”
Thirty minutes later, he ventures up to your room and knocks on your door.
“Y/N?”
His voice makes you panic, and you begin to stuff your belongings under your pillows and blankets. “One minute!” Once your bed is more or less neat, you call out for him to enter.
Elijah opens the door slowly and surveys the room. “Hello, lovely, I was just wondering if you knew where any of my shirts have gone? It’s the strangest thing, I can’t find them.”
You shift uncomfortably. “N-no, I haven’t seen them.”
Your strange behavior doesn’t go unnoticed by the thousand year old vampire. He narrows his eyes at you. “Y/N?”
“Mhm?”
“Are you sure?”
You nod your head quickly, not trusting your words.
“Darling? If you know, I won’t be upset.”
You try to lie again, but your breath gets caught in your throat. “I’m sorry!” You blurt out. “I have them; they’re all here.” One-by-one, you pull the missing garments out from under your blankets. “I’m sorry I took them! I liked the way they smell, because they smell like you, and it makes me feel safe.”
His face immediately softens, “oh, don’t apologize, you did nothing wrong. I just wanted to know.”
“I know you’re running low, you can have them back.” You ignore his words, shoving the pile into his arms. A pouty expression takes over your face, making him regret confronting you about it.
“How about this… let me wash these, because I do happen to be low on clean ones, but every time I wear one, you can have it for a couple of days, okay?”
At this, your eyes light up. “Really?”
“Would that make you happy?”
You nod quickly, but not before biting your lip in embarrassment and looking down at the floor.
He catches on quickly. “There’s no reason to feel embarrassed, love. I’m not going to pretend to know what you’re going through, but I do understand your reason for this. I’m glad my scent makes you feel safe.”
You want to tell him it’s more than that. You want to tell him he makes you feel safe, and that having his scent so close reminds you of that. You want to tell him that you cuddle it when you sleep, because if you can’t have him, having his scent is the next best thing. Most of all, you want to tell him just how badly you want him.
But you can’t. Because the baby growing inside you isn’t his. It’s his brother’s.
Deep down, you think Elijah already knows this. You know he cares for you, he’s proven it to you many times. He has kept you safe ever since you came into the family’s lives; he’s fought for you, killed for you.
The only thing standing in the way of him taking things further with you is that the baby isn’t his. You can’t be his.
So, the two of you tiptoe around his brother. In love but not allowed to express it, and instead, showing your affection for one another through little things. Everyone in the house can see right through you, though. Nik ignores it, while the younger two tease.
But the further you get in your pregnancy, the more needy you become. Your body craves and heart aches for him. Not able to ignore your desires any longer, you caved just a little bit and stole a shirt. One became two, two became three, then three somehow became half his closet. You were finally able to sleep comfortably with his scent filling your nose; his shirts enveloping your body in your bed.
“In fact,” Elijah continues, “keep these two for now. I’ll wash the rest. At the end of the day, I’ll give you this one, okay?”
“Okay.”
“And please, love, come down and eat something. You need to keep up your strength.”
“But I just want to sleep, ‘Lijah.”
“I know, but your baby needs something, too. Just a snack. For me?”
“Okay.”
“There’s my good little girl,” he praises, kissing your forehead gently. He then hands you back two of his shirts, and you leap back in your bed before he can see the blush on your cheeks. “Eat something soon. I’ll be back to check on you.”
◇◇◇◇
At the end of the day, Elijah knocks on your door again to fulfill his promise. It’s nearing nine o’clock, so you’re groggy when you answer him.
“Come in,” you say, rubbing your eyes. You wake up quickly, though, when you remember the agreement you made.
Elijah enters, holding his worn dress shirt. “As promised, little wolf.”
You smile up at him before taking it, silently asking permission.
“Go ahead.”
His heart warms as he watches you. You take the shirt and immediately hurry back to your bed. Not caring that he can see, you begin to rearrange the nest you’ve made on your bed so that the newest addition to your pile can be closest to your body. For five minutes, you organize everything how you want it, changing the order several times after it doesn’t feel good enough the first. By the time you finally lay down, tonight’s promised shirt hugs alongside your body perfectly. You run the fabric against your cheek, taking in the scent, before letting out a content sigh.
Elijah comes over to the edge of your bed, and you roll over on your back to look up at him.
“Are you comfortable?”
“Yes.”
“Good.”
“Thank you,” you mutter.
“Of course,” he kisses your nose. Before he leaves, he takes one more glance at your relaxed form. “Sleep well, my little wolf.”
I chewed my lip as I stared up at the building before me. If this were any other situation, I would've turned on my heel and run by now. But there were two little girls, one on either side of me, who needed me to be strong. This was their best hope of being safe, which meant all of my stuff needed to take a back seat.
I took a deep breath, trying not to let the girls sense just how nervous I was, then started heading for the door to the bar. It was the middle of the day, so hopefully no one would mind me bringing two kids in with me.
Caroline and Ric had trusted me with Josie and Lizzie, and I refused to let them down. Some new supernatural none of us knew existed had come to town and, worse, had started going after the girls. So, I'd sat down with their parents, and we'd figured out a plan to keep them safe: take them to the bigger, badder supernatural who I used to know.
My eyes scanned the bar for the familiar face of Klaus Mikaelson, and after a moment, I found him. He was leaning against the counter talking to the bartender, and I was surprised he couldn't hear my heart beating out of my chest from here. I hadn't seen him in years, and I'd also rejected him the last time I saw him. But he was the best chance the girls had, so I was just going to have to hope he didn't hate me now.
I cleared my throat, shook my nerves off as well as I could, herded the girls into a booth where I could keep an eye on them, then turned to face the bar. I found Klaus already looking at me, his arms crossed and a curious look on his face as he leaned against the counter. A wave of emotions hit me at once, but I shoved back against the feeling, squaring my shoulders and putting one foot in front of the other until I stood in front of Klaus.
"Hello, love," he said, and my heart damn near stopped in my chest. I took a deep breath. "It's good to see you again."
"It's... it's good to see you again, too."
And it was. Most of my friends had been relieved when Klaus finally left town, and they'd freaked out the minute they found out he'd come back to see me. And at the time, I'd convinced myself they were right, and that it was better he was gone. But standing before him now, that slight smirk on his face, I realized I had really, really missed him.
"So what brings you to New Orleans?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. He looked past me to where the girls were playing a clapping game in the booth. "I take it it has something to do with them."
I sighed. "Yeah. Yeah, it does."
"And who's the father?"
Now it was my turn to cross my arms and raise an eyebrow.
"They're actually not mine. But I'd say you don't have a lot of room to judge, considering the reason you moved to New Orleans in the first place."
"Who said I was judging? I was just trying to gauge how jealous I might need to be."
I huffed a laugh, trying and failing to hide my smile by glancing at the ground. Nik grinned at me, and for just a flash of a moment, it was like nothing had changed between us since the last time I'd seen him.
But then I heard Josie and Lizzie behind me, and I remember why I'd come here in the first place. I sighed and met Nik's eyes again.
"I need your help."
His eyebrows immediately drew together, and he straightened up from the bar, taking a half step towards me. The intensity of his worried stare made my heart melt.
"What's wrong, love?"
"There's a new supernatural in town. Or a few new ones, I guess. We're struggling a little bit to deal with them, and they've made Josie and Lizzie their targets. Caroline and Ric are their parents for all intents and purposes, and we sat down and decided our best chance at keeping the girls safe is if I left with them, alone, and came to you."
"And whose idea was that?"
"...Mine. It... actually took a lot of convincing for Ric and Caroline to let me bring them to you."
A hint of a smile flickered across Nic's face as he huffed a barely audible laugh. His beautiful blue eyes met mine with the intensity I'd seen a thousand times for both good and bad moments, and it made my heart race.
"You will always be welcome here, with me. I'll keep the three of you safe."
Relief washed over me. I closed my eyes, taking a minute, and when I opened them again I found Nik still watching me intently. I thought he might lean in for a hug or a kiss or something else, but instead, he just gave me a small smile and nodded in the direction of the girls.
"Mind introducing me?"
The girls absolutely loved Nik from the first moment they met him, and he was nothing but sweet and patient and kind. He made a few absolutely ridiculous jokes that had them falling out of their chairs laughing, and had my heart melting all over again. We left the bar together, the four of us strolling through the streets of New Orleans as Nik led us to his home. He glanced over at me a few times with the roguish smile I'd come to love, and despite the fact that I'd come here on the run to protect the girls, I couldn't help enjoying this moment with him. In different circumstances, it might've just felt right.
"We're almost home, but I just had a thought," said Nik, his arm swinging back and forth with Lizzie's as they marched down the street together. Lizzie and Josie held hands, and I did the same with Josie, making us a little chain. I turned to smile at Nik over the girls' heads.
"And what's that?" I asked. Nik smiled at me, then turned his attention to the girls.
"My favorite ice cream place in the whole of the city is very close to here. Does anyone else feel like we ought to make a pitstop?"
"YES!" the girls screamed in unison. I laughed as Nik stopped abruptly, turning on his heel and then pulling us in the other direction.
"Alright, come on then!"
The girls cheered as they marched after him, and my heart soared as I followed along behind the three of them. I'd gotten to see Nik like this every so often in Mystic Falls, but a lot of our interactions were colored by whatever drama he and his family had going on with my friends and I. Being with him, like this, and seeing him being so amazing with the girls was seriously doing something to me.
"This place really does have the best ice cream," Nik assured me as we stepped inside and joined the line, the girls bouncing excitedly in front of us as we stood shoulder to shoulder. "Hope loves it."
"Hope... how is she? How's... how's Hayley?"
Nik smirked. "They're both good. We've had our rough patches, but Hayley and I have found our rhythm as coparents despite not being together."
I released a breath I hadn't realized I'd been holding, and Nik laughed.
"Now look who's trying to gauge their jealousy."
I rolled my eyes, but couldn't hold back a grin all the same.
"Whatever. But... you're happy? Being a dad, and being here, and... and everything?"
The corner of Nik's mouth quirked up, but the smile didn't reach his eyes.
"Like anything, it's had its ups and downs. But I wouldn't trade Hope for anything in the world."
I nodded, and the two of us fell into comfortable silence as we worked our way through the line. The girls were ecstatic to try their cones, and Nik recommended his favorite flavor to me, which lived up to the hype he'd promised. The four of us wandered slowly the rest of the way to our destination, which turned out to be an absolutely massive compound in the middle of the French Quarter.
Nik pushed open the door and led us inside just as the sun began to set outside. I came to a stop in the beautiful open space just inside the front doors, staring around at it in awe.
"C'mon, love," Nik said gently, resting a hand on my back and guiding me in the direction of the stairs. "Let's get the girls settled in for the night."
I just nodded, putting my focus back on the girls as we followed Nik through the massive compound. He pushed open one of the many doors along the second floor, letting us into a bedroom with two beds. I even spotted a few kids books on the shelves to one side of the room.
I slid my eyes to Nik with a raised eyebrow, but he just shrugged.
"For Hope, and any friends she might decide to bring over when the time comes. No reason to not be prepared, especially since we have the space for it." The corner of my mouth tugged up into a smile, that warm feeling spreading in my chest again. "I'll bring a few of her pajamas in, they should fit these two alright."
"Thanks."
"Of course, love."
Between the two of us, Nik and I managed to get the girls settled down and in bed in under an hour. They'd had a long, tiring day, after all, and if I weren't practically jittering with nerves after the afternoon I'd spent with Nik I'm sure I would've been right behind them.
Instead, I found myself following him after we closed the door to the girls' room, going who knows where in this massive house in his new life since he'd left Mystic Falls. After a few moments, I couldn't really take the silence anymore, so I spoke up.
"Where are the rest of the Mikaelsons?" I asked, my voice thankfully even. "I'd expected to see at least one of the siblings by now."
Nik turned to give me a little smirk over his shoulder, and I hated that he could probably hear my heart race.
"They're busy with other things for the night. And Hope is with Hayley having a mother-daughter weekend away from everything. It's just us, tonight."
My heart sped up even more, although that shouldn't have been possible. After a moment, Nik led me into the kitchen and headed straight for the refrigerator. I took a seat at one of the high stools at the counter, watching him as he moved.
"I assume you still like hot chocolate more than most other drinks?" asked Nik without turning around. I smiled.
"Absolutely. I know it's been a little while, but come on Nik, I'm not a completely different person."
He paused to give me a smile over his shoulder, then continued in his hot chocolate preparations. I scratched at something on the counter while he worked, trying to get up the courage to talk about all the million things hanging in the air before us. Finally, I cleared my throat and forced myself to look up, watching Nik's back as I spoke.
"Thank you for this, by the way. For taking us in, even after... Well, even after I told to leave me and Mystic Falls."
Nik sighed, bringing our two mugs of hot chocolate over and setting them down on the counter before walking around to stand in front of me. We were barely an inch apart, but he didn't make a move to close the distance anymore. I'd set a boundary the last time I'd seen him, and he clearly had no intention of crossing it.
"I will always be here for you if you need me, love. If you seek me out for refuge, or to change your mind and take me up on my offer to show you the world, or even because I make the best hot chocolate in the entire world and you just can't live without it... I'll be waiting."
I stared up at Nik, a slight twinkle in his eye, as I fought to keep tears out of my own. He'd truly caused so many problems in Mystic Falls. My friends' dislike-to-hate of him made sense. But he'd always been sweet and funny, patient and kind and understanding, with me. If I was totally honest with myself, I'd been starting to fall in love with him before I'd decided to side with my friends and push him away.
"Don't cry, love. It's alright," he said, his eyes scanning my face. I hiccupped, the tears finally starting to fall, a combination of all the different emotions and stressors of my past few days coming together and overwhelming me at once. I'd held it together for the girls, but now they were in bed and taken care of, so I could safely fall apart.
I leaned forward, falling into Nik's chest, and he wrapped his arms tightly around me the moment I did.
"It's alright. You're safe with me."
That brought on a whole new wave of tears, not just for the stress of the day, but for everything I'd lost with Nik, too. He just held me tighter, rubbing soothing circles on my back as I let it all out, then slowly started to calm down.
I pulled back slightly once I managed to get ahold of myself. One of Nik's hands stayed on my arm, and he brought his other hand up to gently cup my face, wiping away a few of the tears with his thumb.
"What can I do, love? Tell me how I can help you and I'll do it."
I choked back another sob, this one turning into a half-laugh.
"You've already done enough, Nik. More than enough. It's just... it's been such a long day. I feel like I've been barely holding back a complete stress breakdown for like a week, and I always had the girls with me so I had to keep it together..."
"Well then, why don't we get you settled into a room so you can get some sleep, hm? We can always talk more in the morning."
Nik started to move to help me off the stool and up to bed, but I stopped him, hands resting on his biceps. He raised an eyebrow at me but didn't move away.
"No, Nik. I don't want to talk tomorrow, I need to say this. I... I love you."
Any hint of humor or lightness dropped off Nik's face, replaced by completely serious shock. My heart was racing out of my chest, and I knew he could hear it, but I pushed on anyway.
"I think I was falling in love with you before, and I didn't want to admit it to myself. But being with you here, now... it feels right. There are a bunch of powerful murderers chasing me, trying to hurt two kids whose parents have trusted me, exclusively, with their safety, and I'm in a strange city far from anywhere I've ever called home. But for some reason I just feel... happy. Happy to see you again, happy to spend time with you, about a thousand times calmer than I was without you. You feel like home, Nik, and I love you. I just... that just feels like something you should know."
Nik's eyes had been scanning and searching my face intently the entire time I'd been talking, the slightest hint of wetness gathering in his own eyes. A smile tugged at the corner of his mouth once I'd finished speaking, and he brought his hand back up to cup my face, his thumb brushing lightly over my cheek.
"I don't think I've made it any secret how I feel about you, love," he said, voice soft and tender. "But in case you need to hear it again, I love you. Always and forever."
A few tears managed to sneak out and down my cheeks again, but this time I had a smile on my face. Nik's expression mirrored my own.
"Once... once all of this is over, do you think... well, maybe I could come back here. To New Orleans, once the girls are safe back home. That is, if... if your offer to follow you to New Orleans still stands from the first time you extended it?"
Nik beamed back at me. "I can honestly tell you that absolutely nothing would make me happier."
My smile grew to the point of pain as I stared up at Nik, a light in his eyes that I'd missed much more than I'd realized. I leaned forward just slightly, Nik mirroring my move as I glanced at his lips. One corner of his mouth rose higher in the troublemaking smirk that always made my heart race before he closed the rest of the distance between us, his lips meeting mine, soft at first and then with the same urgency pulsing in my heart.
I'd kissed him before, but it had always been tempered by concern for my friends, and about what they'd think. But this time, as fireworks exploded in my chest and thousands of butterflies took off in my stomach, I couldn't bring myself to care.
I was safe and happy in the arms of the man I loved, kissing him senseless. I'd missed out on a lot of times like this, but from now on, I didn't intend to let anything keep me from spending every second I could just like this, friends and insane supernatural threats be damned. Always and forever.
Can I request an elijah mikaelson x reader fic where she’s Bella swan’s older sister by several years who moved to New Orleans, got married to Elijah, and became a vampire? They go to forks for Bella’s wedding and the mikaelsons are recognized by some of the cold ones?
P.s. love your work :)
I had just finished rewatching the Twilight movies. Also I hinted at a possible part two.
Warnings: Fluff, Protective!Mikaelsons, Klaus being Klaus, Cute sister bonding
It was a surprise to you when you got a call from your father that Bella was getting married. Followed by a wedding invitation and it struck a cord in you. Which was how Elijah found you, his beautiful wife, sitting on the bedroom floor teary eyed.
"Love? Are you alright?" Elijah asked worried getting down next to you. You looked at Elijah with teary eyes showing him the invitation.
"My baby sister is growing up.....she is getting married." You say softly and Elijah smiled gently wrapping you up in his arms.
"My love, Isabella was going to grow up sooner or later. It'll be okay." Elijah says trying to lighten the mood. Elijah knew how much you loved your sister, being married to you for five years had taught him that much.
"But she is just a baby!" You said looking up at your husband who was trying hard to not laugh.
"'Lijah why is Y/N crying? What have you done?"
"Nothing Niklaus. Isabella is getting married." Elijah says handing the invitation to Klaus. The hybrid raised an eyebrow reading it over before smirking.
"Shall we go and welcome the boy into the family? Threaten him to be sure he never harms Isabella?" Klaus asked and before Elijah could say a word you perked up.
"I would like to know who this Edward Cullen is."
--
"My older sister is coming to the wedding." Bella tells Edward a bit worried. Carlisle smiled putting down his book. The family was a gathered around to help plan the wedding while Bella sat worried just who be coming.
"It'll be nice to meet the woman you talk so highly of." Carlisle says noticing the worried look on her face.
"I'm sure. But Y/N's husband and his brothers are a bit overly protective and I hadn't had the time to tell her I was dating."
"Don't worry Bella. It'll all be just fine." Alice says skipping over to Bella with a smile. The human smiled still worried but if the Cullen's were calm about it then so would she.
--
It was the day of the wedding and Bella was happy to see you again. Was a long while since she last saw you. So when she saw you next to Elijah who was holding Hope. She felt happy and moved to greet you and to see Hope again but Edward stopped her.
"Bella, who is that?" Edward asked her staring at Elijah and you.
"That is Y/N, my sister and our niece."
"How does she know an ancient one?" Edward asked as Carlisle walked over having noticed you and Elijah.
"Elijah? That is her husband, why are you being weird about it?" Bella asked looking at her now husband with a raised eyebrow. Carlisle watched Elijah introduce you and Hope to the Denali coven and he wondered how the Denalis knew Elijah.
"Elijah and his family are the first vampires." Carlisle answered Bella who looked at you and Elijah surprised.
"What? What do you mean?" Bella asked watching Carmen touch your bumb with Eleazar. Elijah smiling as Hope babbled to Tanya and Kate.
"They are the first. From my understanding a witch did a spell on a vampire from one of their bloodlines, mutating the vampire venom. Making us, as they call us cold ones."
"And how does the Volturi feel about them?" Bella asked as it seemed you were fitting in very well with Denali coven.
"They fear us." Bella jumped hearing Klaus's voice behind her. The hybrid smirked hugging Bella before narrowing his eyes at Edward.
"Nik! Thank you for coming." Bella says holding her brother-in-law's hand smiling.
"Of course sweet Isabella. Rebekah and Kol sends their love both still enjoying their honeymoon bliss."
"Well knowing them, they'll send wedding gifts." Bella says as Finn came walking up also staring Edward down. Both Mikaelson men made Edward nervous even more when Elijah joined the group.
"Isabella, why don't you go see Y/N and Hope?" Elijah says smiling and Bella was unaware of the tension that was building, she nodded heading over to you.
"So young Edward what is your intention with our dear Isabella?" Elijah asked as Carlisle stepped in his eyes flickered over at Jasper and Emmett, both ready to step in also. Edward swallowed, he had already faced Charlie's shovel talk but to get one from the oldest vampires alive? Made Edward die a little inside.
--
You smiled at Bella who had Hope in her lap listening to the four year old talk. You had gotten to know the Cullen women who surprised that you were a vampire and pregnant.
"So how did you and Elijah meet?" Rosalie asked making Bella pause when you froze. It was never talked about how you met Elijah, the only people that knew was Bella and the Originals.
"Oh you know, a cute moment of meeting at a party." Was the lie you told everyone not wanting to tell what really happened. Rosalie and Alice stared knowing you lied but didn't push it as Esme smiled softly.
"And how are you?" Esme asked looking at your bumb and you brighten up.
"Elijah's older sister is a witch and help us have a baby. Since Hope came into our lives, he wanted a baby of his own."
"When are you due?" Alice asked watching you wipe Hope's mouth. There was a sudden air of motherly love around you when you also began to help Bella take her vail off.
"Some time in winter. By the way, I noticed that Jacob isn't here." You said looking around seeing Billy and Seth but no Jacob.
"He....he was busy." Bella tells you making you narrow your eyes as Elijah joined your little ladies group. Hope whined for her uncle who happily lifted her up gently cleaning the cake from her cheek.
"How was your shovel talk?" You teased Elijah as he leaned down kissing your cheek.
"Niklaus threatened to tear the boy's spine out and paint with young Edward's blood if he ever hurts Isabella." Elijah says looking at the Cullen women seeing their shocked faces. Bella sighed looking Elijah while you were fixing her hair.
"There was no need. Edward would never hurt me." Bella says getting Elijah's attention. Elijah smiled rubbing Bella's shoulder before sitting down.
"We are well aware dear Isabella but you know Niklaus is protective of family. He was angry when we learned the boy put you in the Volturi's path."
"How?" Alice asked watching Elijah smirk.
"Your false Kings should be careful on who enters their home." Elijah says feeding Hope some more cake as the Cullens stared while you weren't surprised. Elijah had planted a few little spies in the Volturi since it was away to keep an eye the Kings.
"How do you know the Denali coven?" Rosalie asked noticing Finn speaking to the Denalis.
"Finn and I met them from when we both were in Alaska." Elijah says as Hope grabbed his attention pointing to her father.
"Excuse us, it seems Hope wants her father." Elijah says standing up and Finn took Elijah's spot next to you. And the Cullen women watch Bella happily talk to Finn and you, excited for the baby.
--
"The Volturi want Edward to turn me." Bella says as you sat with her eating some cake. It was just the two of you sitting on the deck watching the party guest. Since you were pregnant and Bella in a gorgeous wedding dress so you both couldn't climb a tree. Both of you just having a sister moment just like you used to before you got married and Bella living with your mother.
"Do you want to be turned?" You asked her taking a bite out of the cake. Bella looked down swinging her feet.
"No....but I have no choice...."
"No you do Bella. The Volturi can not force Edward to turn you or else they will suffer the wrath of the Original family."
"Did you wanted to turn?" Bella asked you, not knowing the Cullens were listening in. The Cullens had been curious about you since meeting you.
"Elijah had no choice to turn me. It was that or I die, Celeste made Elijah choose between me or his family. Obviously he chose me."
"If there was choice....would you turn?" Bella asked you and you looked down at Elijah seeing him dancing with a sleepy Hope.
"I would....look I won't tell you what to do Bells. But if you really love Edward then do it but don't let the Volturi influence your decision."
"Okay. Thanks sis." Bella says laying her head on your shoulder and you kissed her head. You laced your fingers with Bella's.
"They really won't let the Volturi force Edward to turn me?" Bella asked and your answer terrified the Cullens.
"If it came down to it, they'll slaughter all of Volterra for you. I know they will never let you be harmed. That is a promise of Always and Forever." You tell Bella enjoying your time together before she had to leave for her honeymoon. Both of unaware of the soon to be mess that was to come.
"Why didn't you do it, Klaus? Why didn't you kill me that night?"
She was asking a good question, Klaus thought. A great one, even. But in order to understand the answer, they would have to go back to the beginning. The moment where it all started. Where their lives were forever altered.
Senior Prank Night. It was supposed to be a night off, where Y/N and her friends could take a break from the supernatural world's drama and let go. They could act like normal teenagers, if only for a few hours. But unfortunately, fate had other plans. Its goal was to align two hearts as one. Those of Klaus Mikaelson and Y/N Y/L/N.
Klaus stood over Tyler Lockwood, his first successful hybrid. Veins had cracked underneath his eyes and he had fangs protruding from his gums. The realization had set in - Klaus was that much closer to assembling the strongest army the world had ever seen. So he turned to face his younger sister Rebekah and ordered her to fetch him the only other known werewolf residing in Mystic Falls. Y/N Y/L/N.
"Let go of me!" Y/N demanded at the blonde dragging her by the arm into the gymnasium. "Hush, love. There's no need to put up such a fight," Rebekah responded, rolling her eyes. When they reached Klaus, Rebekah tapped him on the shoulder. "Here's your next victim. I'm done with being your slave now, so I'll be outside." Rebekah walked away, and Klaus turned to the girl, their eyes meeting for the very first time. And he felt the air in his lungs leave him.
Over the years, both Klaus and Y/N had heard of wolves finding their mates. They'd been told that when one was finally introduced to their mate, it was almost as if everything had clicked. All the puzzle pieces fit together, and the picture was clear. It was as if one had found everything they'd ever desired. Craved. Longed for. Lived for. Of course, Y/N and Klaus chose to believe that those people were just downright crazy. There was no such thing as having a mate. Right?
Wrong.
Y/N stared up at the man that she was certain was going to end her human life. But as she looked into the most captivating blue eyes she'd ever seen, she didn't see a trace of malice. And she didn't fear him the way she assumed she would. Instead, she was swept into a current of a feeling she could barely decipher. Y/N looked at this truly evil, power-hungry man, and the fire was burning so fiercely between them that she was certain. This man was the one she had been destined for. And she just knew...she was screwed.
As for Klaus, he was almost speechless. Klaus thrived off of being in control. It was a bare necessity for him. He needed to be in a position of power. But as he stood in front of the woman he was sure was concocted from his dreams, he felt that power slipping right through his fingers. The threat of losing control had always left him feeling unsettled, and now that his worst fear was manifesting into reality, he was petrified.
"So uh, is this the part where you kill me? 'Cause I'd rather you make it quick," Y/N spoke, treading lightly. Her voice snapped Klaus back into reality. He could hear her heart racing, but he wasn't sure if it was due to fear, or if she was feeling even a fraction of what he was. So he smirked slightly, looking straight at her. "Actually, darling, I have other plans for you. Big plans."
In the weeks following that night, with each day that passed, Klaus and Y/N's desire for each other only grew stronger. They'd shared stolen glances at each other, had dreamt of the other in their sleep. They always seemed to be in the same place at the same exact time. And the desire and longing they felt for each other were threatening to become too much to bear. That string tied to both their hearts worked to pull them closer and closer until they simply couldn't run from fate anymore. Which had ultimately led Y/N to ask her question.
"Hello? Are you gonna answer me? Or are you gonna force me to stare at your back all night and ignore me?" Klaus took a sip of the bourbon from the glass he held in his hand, turning around to look at the entrancing woman before him. "Do you really have to ask? You know why, Y/N." Y/N scoffed, "If I knew, then I wouldn't be asking." As soon as Klaus had registered what she said, he knew he'd had enough. He was done playing whatever game this was. He wanted out.
"Don't do that. Don't act like fate hasn't been casting us in each other's paths since the night we met. The reason I didn't kill you is that I could never kill the woman I'd been destined to love for over a thousand years." Y/N's eyes were wide. Yes, she had felt everything under the sun for Klaus. But she'd never been brave enough to acknowledge it out loud. That would make it real. Solidify it. And she wasn't sure if she was ready for that.
"You aren't really buying into that 'wolf mate' crap, are you? Klaus-" Y/N began, but Klaus walked up to her, cutting her off. "Do you think I've been enjoying this? I've lost the one thing in this world that I need to survive. Control. I looked into your eyes that night at the high school, and I watched as it left me. As you took it from me," he breathed. With each step of Klaus's, Y/N mirrored his movements backwards until her back hit the wall behind her with a thump.
"What are you so afraid of?" Klaus whispered, his fiery gaze holding her's captive. "Are you afraid that this isn't real? Because we both know it is. We burn for each other, so brightly that it would blind everyone else in our wake if we chose to burn together," he spoke, stroking her cheek ever so lightly with his index finger, "but that's society's problem. not ours."
Y/N could feel her resolve beginning to wither away as she stood nearly chest-to-chest with the man who had completely taken over her thoughts in mere seconds. "It's just an illusion, Klaus. There is no fate. There's no magical bond that causes two wolves to be destined for each other. It's not real."
Yeah, that was a load of bull. Even Klaus knew that Y/N didn't believe the lies she was telling herself. "You're wrong. You are consumed by the raw passion and desire you feel for me. So much so that you're choosing to run from it. But deep down, you know that you will never be able to shake me. I've gotten under your skin, and you've gotten under mine. We cannot just simply ignore this and go on. Not without each other," Klaus spoke.
Y/N looked up at Klaus, and she knew he was right. She'd thought she'd been in love before. She'd thought she knew what it felt like to see someone and just know, beyond any doubt, that they were the person she was destined for. The one she was made for. But she was wrong. Because whatever she'd felt for the men in her past could never begin to compare to the yearning in her heart for Klaus. "You mentioned that you've lost control," she said, and Klaus nodded. "If control is what you need...then you should take it."
The two of them held eye contact, the tension growing thicker and thicker by the second. Their desire for one another was clouding all of their thoughts and their senses, and they both wanted nothing more than to drown in each other. To give in to the temptation they'd been avoiding for so long. So that's just what they did.
Klaus smashed his lips against Y/N's, his hands on her cheeks. Y/N responded immediately and she placed her hands on Klaus's chest, fisting the thin material of his henley shirt as if to pull his chest against hers. The kiss deepened, both their tongues stroking and tasting each other. Y/N moaned into the kiss when Klaus's hands slid down to her thighs, urging her to jump so that he could pick her up. She jumped, wrapping her legs around Klaus's torso as her lips continued to devour his.
Using his supernatural speed, Klaus flashed the both of them up into his bedroom, kicking the door closed behind him and dropping Y/N onto the plush duvet of his bed. Y/N stared up at him with those eyes, breathless. Klaus leaned down, his lips leaving kisses on her exposed neck. Y/N thread her fingers in the curls at the nape of his neck and she sighed in pleasure at Klaus's touch. It felt like Klaus was touching every single nerve on her body as his hands roamed over her, and all her senses were taken over completely by the man on top of her.
Breaking the kiss, Klaus pulled his shirt off and threw it on the floor before taking hold of Y/N’s and tearing it down the middle with a harsh yank. Y/N felt a throbbing between her legs at the action, Klaus's rough nature spurring her on even more. Her jeans were the next to go. Then she sat up, helping him remove her shirt before her hands landed on his chest. Her fingers gently ran over his skin, tracing over his tattoo before taking her time to trail down to his abdomen.
Klaus grabbed Y/N's hand and placed it over the large bulge in his jeans. “Do you feel that? Do you feel how hard I am for you?" He questioned. "This is what you do to me, Y/N. This is how much I yearn for you, for your touch. You make me want to memorize and trace every inch of your body with my lips, with my tongue. You make me want to act out every desire my mind has ever conjured, and worship you like a queen. So do not doubt what I feel for you, and don’t you dare doubt what you feel for me. Not anymore."
Mesmerized by the words he spoke, Y/N nodded. Her hand found the back of his neck, pulling him down to kiss her as her free hand worked on his belt buckle and zipper. Klaus unhooked her bra and discarded it before climbing out of his jeans. Towering over her frame, Klaus leaned Y/N back onto the bed, and his lips peppered kisses on his way down to her panties. His thumb smoothed over her lace-covered entrance and he felt her desire for him. "You're wet for me already. Good girl," he cooed, and Y/N moaned at his words.
Klaus used his teeth to latch onto the waistband of her panties and dragged them down slowly until they were removed from her completely. His head then came back up and his hands spread her thighs to get a good look at her core. "What a gorgeous little cunt. It's more perfect than I ever could have imagined." His tongue darted out to taste her lightly, and he let out a soft moan, "You taste heavenly, too." Before Y/N could even react, she was flipped onto her stomach, and her limbs were tied to each corner of Klaus's bedframe.
His hands smoothed up her back, "From the very moment I laid eyes on you I've wanted nothing more than to put you on your stomach, tie your hands and legs to the corners of my bed and eat your sweet little cunt until you’re begging me to stop because the pleasure is too overwhelming. And now, my sweet…I am free to do so." And with that, his lips wrapped around her sensitive clit and he began to suck harshly, swirling his tongue around it to add to the sensation.
Y/N gasped at the sudden pleasure, and she bit her lip, "Fuck, Klaus." Klaus' finger came up to tease her entrance lightly, circling it and pressing the very tip of his finger into her and gathering her slick. He plunged it inside of her, and her back arched. His tongue picked up the pace on her clit, and the sucking pressure became much more powerful. Her legs were already trembling, the coil beginning to form in the pit of her stomach.
"Let's see how quickly I can make you come with my tongue and my fingers, yeah?" Klaus questioned, but he really wasn't looking for an answer. Y/N's moans grew louder, her cries of pleasure going straight to Klaus's cock and hardening it even more than before. It twitched at the sounds she was making, and Klaus's mouth watered at the thought of being inside her. Of releasing in her, and making her his for all of eternity. No man would ever have her in this way. Not after Klaus. Never.
Klaus added his middle and ring finger, quickening the pace of his fingers and Y/N was a panting, moaning mess. "Klaus, I'm gonna come. Please don't stop," she cried. Klaus kept up his actions, and he felt her walls closing in around his fingers. Her cries grew louder as she released and her whole body felt numb.
But just because she had reached her orgasm didn't mean that Klaus was done with her. He sucked on her clit with more pressure, and his tongue was toying with her clit at an inhumane speed. "It's too much. I can't, Klaus," she begged. Pulling his mouth away from her, he leaned up to her ear as he slapped her clit and Y/N squealed. "You can and you will."
Klaus resumed his actions, and he plunged his fingers into her again. His mouth found her clit again, and Y/N swore she was losing all her senses. Her vision was gone, and she couldn't feel anything except for Klaus's mouth and fingers. She wasn't sure how the hell she was going to last when she was barely holding it together. But she also knew that there was no other place she'd rather be. No other man she'd want to touch her the way Klaus was. He was all she wanted. Forever.
That familiar coil started to build up again, and by now tears were running down her cheeks as she bit into the pillow in front of her. "Give it to me, Klaus, please. I'm so close," she sobbed. Klaus obeyed, his fingers beginning to curl into her g-spot. The overstimulation left her breathless, and she struggled to get the air into her lungs. And then his touch simply became way too much to bear.
Her juices exploded out of her, and Klaus was quick to lap it up with his tongue, groaning at the taste of her. Y/N's breathing was erratic, and she could barely move. Klaus kissed up her spine, "I want to fuck you. Can I, darling? Can I fuck you?" Klaus questioned. Y/N nodded furiously, "Please fuck me, Klaus. I want you inside me. I want to feel every inch of you."
Klaus wasted no time freeing himself from his briefs. He ran his tip through Y/N's wet folds and grinded against her clit softly. Y/N shuddered at the contact due to her sensitivity, and Klaus ran his hand down her side, gripping and guiding her hips toward his. His free hand wrapped around the base of his member, and he slowly pushed into her. Y/N gasped, and she arched her back to feel him deeper. "You're so big, daddy. You stretch me out so well," she moaned. Klaus was now balls deep, and he remained there, feeling close to her.
"Please move, Klaus," she begged. Klaus sighed as he eased back out of her, and slammed into her again. Y/N let out a small scream, and Klaus gripped her hips again as he began to thrust in and out of her mercilessly. Her ass smacked against his front and the sound of skin slapping against skin filled the bedroom. "Can you hear how soaked you are, love? You're dripping all over me," Klaus grunted. Y/N babbled something incoherent, and Klaus chuckled.
Klaus fucked into Y/N with reckless abandon, and since she was tied to the corners of the bed, all she could do was lay there and let Klaus ravish her. Not that she was complaining. He was so deep inside of her that she felt him in her stomach. Tears were pouring out of her eyes, and her moans were transforming into screams. "Yes! Yes, Klaus! Right there!" She exclaimed. "You love the way I'm rutting into you, don't you? I bet you love the way I have you at my mercy, fucking you until you're a babbling, sobbing mess," he spoke through gritted teeth. Y/N nodded at his words as she cried.
"You belong to me now, is that clear?" Klaus asked, but Y/N couldn't answer. All she could do was let out a strangled noise. Klaus began to fuck her harder, pounding into her. "Answer me," he said. Y/N couldn't though, she could barely form words. His fingers found her clit, and he began slapping it in time with his thrusts. "Who's pussy is this, Y/N?" Klaus questioned sternly, and Y/N squealed. "Yours, Klaus. It's y-yours!" She yelled.
Those words went straight to his cock, and Klaus let go of the last bit of control in his grasp. "That's right, it's mine. And I have every intention of filling you to the brim with my seed. So much that I'll be inside of you for days," he grunted. His cock began to twitch, as Y/N's walls clenched around him. "I want you to come for me, Y/N. Now," he said as he continued his harsh thrusts into her. The headboard was smacking against the wall, and Klaus was sure there would be a hole when they were finished.
Y/N's walls clamped down hard on Klaus's cock, hard, and she began to scream. "I'm coming, Klaus! I'm fucking coming!" Y/N began to cream all over his member, and Klaus twitched inside of her for the last time as he shot his seed into her, filling her.
Coming down from his high, he pumped into her a few more times before pulling out of her. He untied her limbs from the bed frame and kneeled her in front of him. "Taste yourself on me," he ordered, and Y/N obeyed his command. Taking his large member into her mouth, she took him to the back of her throat, before sucking her way to the tip and swirling her tongue around so she could taste their come.
"Mm," she moaned around him. The taste was so addicting, Y/N couldn't help but begin to bob her head, sucking Klaus off. Klaus ran a hand through her hair to get a grip on her as she sucked the soul out of his cock. Klaus threw his head back as she began to bob her head faster when she felt him twitch. Saliva was dribbling down from her mouth, running down her body, and her hand came up to massage his balls.
Just as Klaus felt his orgasm building up, he pulled out of her mouth and kissed her as he laid her back and pushed his cock inside of her entrance once again. She gasped into the kiss at the sudden intrusion, and Klaus wasted no time quickening his pace so he could come inside of her again. He pulled away from the kiss and began to suck on the soft spot of Y/N's neck. "Please come inside me, daddy. please fill me up with your come again,” she encouraged, spurring him on. Her hands scratched down his back, drawing blood, and this is what pushed Klaus to release his seed into her once again.
Pulling out, Klaus pulled Y/N to his chest as he yanked the covers over them. They drifted off into sleep, and after that night, everything changed.
In the weeks that followed, Klaus and Y/N established their relationship, Y/N had turned into a hybrid to ensure that their hearts would remain as one forever. And they were now on a vacation in New Orleans, as Klaus wanted to share his favourite place in the world with the love of his life.
But something was wrong. Y/N told Klaus she would meet him at Rousseau's, but she never showed up. Klaus had called her 10 times, each one going to voicemail. He knew she was in trouble. And that fact was confirmed when a witch named Sophie approached him. "Klaus Mikaelson? I have something you're gonna want to see."
Sophie led him to the cemetery, and Klaus's eyes landed on his girlfriend. "Release her right now or I swear to you, your entire witching community will cease to exist after today." Sophie shook her head, "Not until you listen." Sophie then explained to Klaus how he and Y/N were now able to procreate, thanks to the curse being broken, and his werewolf side being embraced. Klaus tried to argue, tried to tell them all that they were insane. But then...he heard the heartbeat. "It's true, Klaus. I'm...we're pregnant."
Sophie revealed to Klaus that the witches wanted to run Marcel Gerard out of the city, and they needed his help. It took some convincing, but in the end, he agreed to aid them on their mission. Sophie and the witches let Y/N go, and she and Klaus returned to their hotel room.
"Are you sure this is okay? I mean, is this really what you want? Because it's okay if you don't. You won't lose me," Y/N said, her hand rubbing Klaus's back as they sat on the edge of the bed. He turned to look into the eyes of the woman he loved, and his expression softened. "I do, want this. I want you, and our child. Forever."
♡ Dating Klaus would be interesting to say the least
♡ I feel like it would be the grumpy x sunshine trope
♡ He loves you with everything in him
♡ He literally worships the ground you walk on
♡ He is very protective of you, he does his best to be with you all the time, but if he can't be, he has hybrids around in case anything happens to you
♡ He also spoils you, he'll give you his black card and you will drag his siblings to stores and ask for their opinions on stuff
♡ Speaking of his siblings, the all love you, which Nik is so happy about
♡ You are the only one who gets to call him things like 'NIkki' and still live to tell the tale
♡ He gets insecure, since his father has put it in his head that he is worth nothing
♡ You always assure him he is perfect you love him for how he is
♡ He gets jealous pretty easily, if you don't give him attention (and give it to someone else) for more than three minutes, he will start whining like a child
♡ You two honestly never argue, and if you do, he would immediately say you're right and apologize to you with puppy dog eyes, begging for you to forgive him (he'll get on his knees and beg without shame)
♡ He gets jealous of Elijah when you talk about books with him, so he started reading just to have more things to talk to you about
♡ He always feels so lucky to have you, even if he doesn't think he deserves such an angel like yourself
♡ He is always flirting with you, just so that he can see your adorable face blush
♡ He is so dramatic, like really dramatic
♡ He enjoys planning dates with you, he likes how you will give him loads of little kisses after
♡ He memorizes every. single. thing. about you, you find it cute and it melts your heart how he pays so much attention to every little detail about you
♡ He is constantly trying to find out new things that he doesn't now about you
♡ He's always ranting to his siblings about how perfect you are and how lucky he got (which they have heard so many times they lost count)
♡ He holds your pinky finger under tables if you're somewhere like a restaurant or diner
♡ If anyone hits on you, he'd walk up and make out with you in front of the person, not caring, so they would get the message that you were taken
♡ He really only calls you by pet names, such as: love, darling, my love, sweetheart, angel, etc
♡ He loves hugs, so you always pull him into the warm embraces, that he loves so much, if you feel he needs it
♡ Klaus loves to cook for you, believe it or not
♡ His siblings are like a y/n protective squad, everyone knows not to harm you in any way, shape, or form
♡ However, if someone is stupid enough to do so, they will be killed the second the Mikaelson's get to where you are (thats actually a lie, they would torchure the people or persons who are responsible for whatever happened)
♡ When you play with his hair, it's over, he will refuse to get up off of your lap (if his head is laying on it) just so you play with his hair for at least an hour
♡ He always buys you gifts, every time you back to your house, there are gifts for you in front of your place
♡ He was touch deprived so when you came along, he is always somehow touching you
♡ He loves when you where his clothes, he finds it so attractive
My Human
Human Reader X Elijah Mikaelson
Summary: Elijah Mikaelson's Girlfriend Is Caught In The Crossfire With The Original's First Bloodline Vampire
------&&&&&-
Y\N wakes up with chains around her ankles and wrists after being knocked out.
"Where am I ?" she asks herself looking around
It was a fancy penthouse house you could see all of New Orleans from every angle
"Sweet Y/N is finally awake" A male voice appears without revealing his face
“Are you sure we’re doing the right thing?" Another Voice spoke, his voice filled with worry.
"The best way to upset the Original is to steal the thing most precious to him"
"Hey, I'm not an object" Y/N snapped trying to break free
The woman's vision begins to blur together with an unbearable pain when she looks at her foot, a piece of wood is seen embedded in her flesh.
“Oh, isn’t this poor little thing in pain?” The same guy who talked about pissing off an original cooed and lifted Y/N's head with his finger. His face shifted to his vampire one and he snarled, showing his fangs.
“It’s too bad Elijah can’t save you, I can’t wait to see the look on his face when he realised that you’re dead."
" I can't wait to see Elijah cut out your tongue and then your heart... But I think he prefers a more special torture"
" ENOUGH, enough of this nonsense .. it's time for my food"
The man displayed his fangs, then thrust into the young woman's neck, letting the blood flow.
Y/N point Of View
Unbearable pain shout through my neck as his fangs clamped down on my neck, I screamed as the pain shot through my whole body. I vaguely remembered that Elijah said that a vampires bite would hurt bad, of course Elijah has already fed from me, a few times but there has been blood sharing. This is not at all pleasant as it is with my Lijah
I screamed feeling my body giving way when I hear screams and see some bodies of men standing outside being thrown lifeless
"Elijah...."
"Elskan, I'm going to get you out of here." Just seeing my boyfriend's face relieves me.
Seeing him like that, so lethal somehow moved me, a fight was fought between him and the guy who caught me in the first place.
"Lucian, I hope hell is nice this time of year ." Elijah said with his vampire face
"You can't kill me , I'm much better than an Original, my bite can kill you..." Lucian said mockingly
"You're absolutely right, until we find a way to kill you I can't do the honors but nobody said about torture. You know I love torturing anyone who hurts my family"
With that a piece of wood was hurled towards Lucian's abdomen and my rescuer came to pick me up.
"It's safe, let's go home... Niklaus takes care of him"
"He drank from me, I'm too weak" I said without looking at him, fearing that this would increase his thirst.
"Elskan, look at me. No problem, I'll heal you and I'll carry you myself" Elijah bit his own wrist bringing it to my mouth
When the metallic taste hit my tongue I felt relief from the pain, from the fear of it all, my wounds started to heal as he saw the wood in my flesh
"He will suffer, won't he? "
"I sure do hope Freya can find a way to make him ordinary so I can kill him with my own hands" Elijah blocks my view of Nik dragging Lucian's body out of the room.
"Elijah ... Thank you"
" For what?"
" Everything"
A/N: I hope you enjoyed it... I did it with all the love and care I did with Hope Mikaelson
Derek Hale x Reader : Hale and Mikaelson.
(part 1)
guess this is gonna be a series.
Tumblr media
Derek Hale x Reader ( fem!mikaelson, Elijah's daughter)
Part 1! ~
Being an Original's daughter, and a witch with little control on powers had a lot of perks, so it was no surprise that Y/N Mikaelson, the miracle child of Elijah Mikaelson had to be under strict observation of her father and huge af family, especially her Hybrid uncle, Nik.
Y/N came into existence due to a procreation spell done on her mother, the love of Elijah's life, who had died at childbirth.
If anything that she inherited from her mother, was her witch powers ( a lil bit from her grandma Esther too lol ) and sense of humor ( well, her Uncle Kol says she has the humor from him) and rest is all from her father ( expect sense of fashion, thankfully. Who the heck wears suits in the summer heat?)
Elijah taught her values and virtues and literature, Klaus taught her art and how to kick someone's ass, Freya did her best to help with magic, Kol would often help her pull pranks, sneak around and have her share of fun, Rebekah would doll her up in the latest fashion and Marcel helped her to get relief from the family drama.
Beacon Hills. It's where her father decided to keep her safe. Throughout their existence, the Originals have made numerous enemies. And he couldn't afford to lose his child, his baby, to them.
And she fell in love.
With none other than her father's old ally, Talia Hale's son, the current Alpha of the renowned wolf family, Derek Samuel Hale.
Elijah, for the first time had found her interested in something other than books, music and magic, so was lenient in letting her meet him and letting him court her (much to Klaus's annoyance and possessiveness) .
But he absolutely hated it when his little one would sneak out and run into dangers just to help the pack. He couldn't stop her though, because she was fiercely loyal and stubborn and knew how to save herself.
Elijah knew Derek's the one for his princess, for his young one. His ample knowledge on the supernatural had told him his daughter and Derek had been destined to be together.
She had triggered her magic in the Beacon Hills preserve, while playing with Derek, as a child and one look of Talia had told him everything.
Derek Hale is her trigger and anchor, both.
She gained control on her magic while helping the werewolf in a faceoff with Gerard Argent, the one whom all the supernaturals loathe.
Elijah had to leave this daughter back in BH, for the safety and run to NOLA for handling his family's stupidity, warning her ( read literally pleading her ) to not get in trouble.
But things are never normal in Beacon Hills too.
That f*cking protection broke and here she is, pregnant. At 21, thankfully ( or her father and uncles would have straight ripped out Derek's heart, instead of going for a slightly less painful way)
" Derek Samuel Hale, istg, am gonna castrate you and then kill (pls, their baby is not going to grow up without their father.)"
" Calm down, sweetheart! We'll go through this together."
" Don't sweetheart me, Derek! We're going to be parents fgs!"
" I love you, and I love our child too."
" I know and I love you too, Der, but am scared."
" Our child had the Mikaelson-Hale gene. And we won't let anything happen to our child. Come here."
Later, they both visited the hospital for a checkup, completely unaware that they were being watched upon.
" Y/N, love, I think we owe an explanation of your presence at the hospital earlier today with your boyfriend."
Shoot. Her whole family.
Klaus's voice boomed in the house as soon as Y/N had stepped in, followed by Derek, who immediately felt he is in front of the hungry lion lions.
Elijah, Klaus, Kol, Marcel.
Guess he won't live to see the next day.
" What's wrong, princess? Are you sick?" Elijah asked worried and panicked, walking toward her.
" Uhm..ermm..."
Derek didn't know from were he got the courage, but he did.
Softly taking his girl's fingers in his, he said, as calmly as he could, "We're expecting a child. Y/N's pregnant."
The room was silent until Derek was shoved against the wall both by Elijah and Klaus.
"Dad! Uncle Nik!" Y/N cried out, dread and panic filling her face, as Kol hugged her, to calm her.
"Leave him, Dad!"
Kol humored, " It takes two to have a baby, brothers."
Klaus and Elijah's glare shut him up though.
"Dad, leave Derek please!"
Derek was coughing due to the choking.
All of a sudden, Elijah loosened his grip and started laughing.
Marcel rolled his eyes, " The news has sent him into a shock I think."
"Brother?"
"Dad?"
" Mr. Mikaelson?"
Rest were left shocked.
PART TWO?
sometime later if there's response on this one, (joking lol).
Hey, I have another Klaus Mikealson x reader idea for you. It's a little long and if you're not comfortable then that's okay.
Here is the idea: The reader is taken by an enemy of the Mikealson's who wants to kill them. The reader is compelled by this enemy to go to the Mikealson's home and steal the white oak stakes. The reader is caught with them by one of the Mikealson's who know almost straight away that the reader was compelled (their vervain jewellery taken and them compelled not to notice.)
Klaus then comes up with a plan to trick the villain after doing so he makes sure that the reader cannot be harmed by another villian of his.
Have a great day/night
You Won't Be Compelled Again
Running out of the Mikaelson mansion with the white oak stake hidden underneath my red leather jacket. My hearts was pounding in my chest where I almost met up with Damon Salvatore who had asked for my help with getting the weapon that could kill an Original vampire. Throwing my hair around I halted in my tracks seeing Damon where I started to hand the stake over until his neck was snapped and my gaze met Klaus. "Nik..."
"Y/n, where is the necklace I gave you?" He asked dropping Damon's body from his grasp placing a hand on my shoulder scanning my face.
I attempted to move around him needing to follow through with what I was supposed to do. But I didn't really know why I was so insisting on giving him this stake. "I don't know. I just need to get this to Damon and Stefan. I said I would help them. Now let go of me."
"You've been compelled haven’t you?" He didn't move from his spot instead taking a hold of my other shoulder staring deeply into my eyes. "Tell me the truth, love. What do you remember from what they told you to do?"
Shaking my head I made a confused face at him and what he was asking. "I...I don't remember anything. I just know I have to do what they told me to do...even though I don't remember anything."
"Come with me, love. I'll fix this." He tugged me inside the mansion even though I was fighting until he told me to stop and trust him. He led me up the stairs and into his bedroom where I immediately laid down on the bed really tired where he watched me closely.
The next morning I woke up I rubbed my eyes feeling off where I lifted myself up on my elbows hearing Klaus walking into the bedroom offering me a half smile. "Nik, what happened last night?"
"You were apparently compelled to steal this by Damon." He drew the white oak from inside his jacket seeing utter confusion on my whole face. "He compelled you not to remember either so don't feel bad you didn't know. I am only sorry that I didn't see this coming for you."
Running my fingers through my hair I sighed heavily feeling so stupid that I let him take my vervain necklace from me that Klaus had given me. He warned me to never lose it and that’s exactly what I did in this situation. “Nik, I’m sorry. You told me to lose it and I messed up…how could I be so stupid.”
“You aren’t stupid, sweetheart. Damon and Stefan took advantage of you. But I assure you it won’t happen again. I will hurt them both so that-“
“Klaus no!” I snapped towards the hybrid cutting off his next words already knowing that he was planning a threat in his mind. “If anyone is going to get revenge on them it will be me!”
He reached over grasping my hand in his gently. He had taken quite the shine to the human girl in front of him. She wasn’t weak as Elena. She was very skilled like Caroline and embraced the supernatural world with open arms rather then run away. “What do you suggest then, darling?”
“First you have to turn me. That way I will never be able to be compelled again. And I know what you are going to say, are you truly ready to become immortal, are you ready to not age or have kids. Yes I am. This whole thing just opened my eyes to what I needed and I am tired of waiting.” I got in his face seeing his eyes scan over my face looking for me to back out but a smirk grew when he didn’t see anything hesitation.
Klaus reached up brushing some hair out of my face resting his hand on my cheek where I leaned into his touch. “So once I turn you. What is next, my queen?”
“Then you and I will…” I trailed off climbing in his lap since he was sitting on the foot of the bed wrapping my arms around his neck. Pressing my lips onto his he smiled instantly leaning forward and deepening the kiss until I broke it smirking at the hybrid. “Paint the world red and get our sweet revenge on those Salvatore brothers.”
He vamped me back on my back on the bed making me gasp smirking above me before he smashed his lips onto mine. “You and I are going to be the perfect pair. Now from this day on you will never be compelled again, I promise Y/n.”
“Then what are we waiting for, Nik?” I asked him where he tugged me to sit upright with him biting into his wrist holding the bleeding wound out to me. Drinking from his wrist he ran his freehand through my hair kissing the crown of my head before he placed his hands around my neck snapping it as gently as possible knowing that when you woke he would have an entirely with the woman he loved. And that revenge would taste so much sweeter with you.
Comments really appreciated ❤️
Hi gorgeous, could you do a second part of Shadows of Doubt where reader is pregnant with Hope and spending time with Hayley who's a good friend of hers. Elijah and Rebekah realize they were being assholes because she's exactly what their brother needed, Klaus misses her and wants her back, though once he finds out about her pregnancy everything gets more angsty, as he blames his siblings for it, believing yn had moved on not knowing the child was his and etc. They get back together at the end, with a lot of fluff and etc.
author’s note: after several requests and messages, here’s part 2 of shadows of doubt (here’s part 1). i hope you enjoy it like you guys did the first one! 🫶🏽
It had been weeks since I last cried and almost four months since I last saw him. It was the most painful thing I had ever done but I knew it had to happen, there was no need to make the situation more difficult. I walked away. No goodbye or anything. I wasn’t going to let his siblings have the satisfaction of seeing me ‘weak’ as they often told me.
The gentle breeze rustled the leaves as I sat in the courtyard of my home, my fingers unconsciously tracing the subtle curve of my belly. The soft flutter of life within me was a constant reminder of the precious gift growing inside. It had been a whirlwind of emotions since that day— the day I had found out I was pregnant with her. She wasn’t planned but she’d be wanted, if not by him then me, she was my miracle…my hope.
In the months I had spent away from him and his family, I had met people. Amongst them was a woman called Hayley, she had become my closest confidante and friend. She sat beside me, her gaze understanding and supportive. “How are you feeling, Y/N?” she asked softly.
I smiled, the love and excitement for the life within me radiating through my words. “It's strange, but in a beautiful way. I feel this little one moving, and it's like she's already a part of me.”
Hayley's eyes softened, and she placed a comforting hand on my shoulder. “You're going to be an amazing mother, Y/N.”
As I looked around the courtyard, memories of him flooded my mind. His charming smile, his passionate love, and the painful distance that had grown between us. I couldn't help but wonder if he was thinking about me, if he ever missed the moments we had shared. Little did I know, he was wrestling with his own demons, haunted by the realization that he had let go of something precious. Elijah and Rebekah, his once-disapproving siblings, had opened his eyes to the truth— that my absence had left a void in his life.
One evening, as the sun dipped below the horizon, Klaus stood outside the balcony, his heart heavy with regret. The memories of time spent together played like a filmstrip in his mind, each moment a painful reminder of what he had lost. He swirled the glass in his hand around, mindlessly watching it.
Elijah approached the open balcony doors and stood still, his voice gentle but firm. “Niklaus, we’d like for you to hear us out. You can’t go on like this anymore brother.”
Klaus was silent for a while then with a huff he said, “Very well, say your piece.”
“We were wrong. I apologize for the part I played in hurting Y/N. You need to go to her.”
His back was still turned, facing the city in front of him. His jaw clenched and unclenched, his voice sounding venomous. “You do not tell me what I need Elijah.”
“Then tell me what I can do.” Elijah removed his hand from his pocket, waving it in front of him.
“What I needed you to. I needed you to stand by me and support us…you made me choose.” His voice cracked at that last sentence as he spun around to face his older brother.
Elijah's expression softened, his concern for his brother evident. “It's not too late, Niklaus. Reach out to her, before it truly is.”
“This was your doing! You and Rebekah!”
“We’re sorry for doubting her Nik, alright? Is that what you want to hear?” Rebekah yelled back at her brother. She had been silently watching and listening from the door.
“What I wanted was her and you drove her away!” He throws his glass of liquor across the room, the bottle following quickly behind.
Rebekah flinched and shut her eyes as she whispered, “Nik we’re sorry.”
“Go to her brother. We will not fail you again.” Elijah extended his hand out to him and Klaus gave it a firm shake. With a nod, they reached a silent agreement.
Without a word, Klaus left to his room to think it over. He knew he could never gain her trust again after letting her go so easily. He often used his art room to conjure up his master plans but not this time. In a few hours he had decided and that was how he found himself standing outside my door, his heart pounding as he raised his hand to knock. He hesitated, the weight of his emotions holding him back. The door swung open, and there I stood, the sight of him taking my breath away. For a moment, time seemed to stand still, and the unspoken words hung heavy in the air.
“Y/N,” he finally said, his voice a mix of longing and regret.
“Klaus,” I replied softly, my heart racing.
“I missed you love,” he admitted, his voice vulnerable. His hand reached out to me, gently placing it on my cheek.
I looked into his eyes, the depth of his emotions mirrored mine. “I missed you too, Klaus. But things are different now.”
The silence between us spoke volumes, a symphony of emotions that echoed the pain of our separation and the hope for a second chance. As our gazes held, a sense of understanding passed between us. I wanted nothing more than to stand there and take it all in, take in the sight of him. Call it weakness or strength but in that moment I needed to be honest so I revealed the truth.
“I'm pregnant,” I whispered, tears welling in my eyes.
Klaus's expression shifted from surprise to confusion, and then to anger. “You moved on so quickly?” he snapped, his voice laced with bitterness. He pulled back as though my touch burned him.
I shook my head, the tears spilling over. Desperately, I took a step forward to be closer once more, “No, it’s yours. Our child, Nik.”
He couldn’t believe it and I wouldn’t blame him, he didn’t know. Ten years ago I triggered my curse and quickly learned a few things, one of them being scent. A witch that was a family friend offered to hide it as a way to thank me for saving her children. From that day onwards, I could smell other wolves but none knew my scent which hid me from supernaturals alike. Klaus never knew, I would have told him one day but after realizing I’d never gain his siblings' trust and the constant doubts from him, I kept my secret.
Still even with my revelation, he was partially in the dark. If I had any chance of convincing him, I needed to tell him the entire truth. I placed one hand over my abdomen and looked at him, tears falling freely. I knew in the silence he’d hear it. Time seemed to have slowed in that moment as I saw his face morph into different stages of understanding.
The realization hit him like a tidal wave, his anger giving way to shock and disbelief. “What?”
I took a step closer, my hand gently caressing my belly. “Hope. She's ours, Nik.”
“How?” His voice was small, almost child-like, though his gaze remained on my abdomen.
With my free hand, I reached down for his and placed it on the side of my head. I wanted him to know everything, I wanted him to trust me fully which is why I let him inside my mind. “See for yourself.”
Moments later tears glistened in his eyes as he looked at me, his heart torn between regret and joy. “I can't believe I doubted you,” he whispered.
As he reached out to touch my belly, his fingers gentle against my skin, I felt a rush of emotions—love, forgiveness, and the chance for a future together. This was all I had wanted. Right here, I had all that I could ever ask for and I’d be damned if I let it go without a fight. He was my home.
“Love I'm truly sorry. I don’t deserve you,” he murmured, his voice thick with emotion.
I smiled through my tears, feeling the weight of the past lifting from my shoulders. “Klaus, we have a chance to start again—for Hope and for us.”
“Hope?”
“You don’t like it? We can pick something else.” I quickly said, worried I had already done something wrong.
He leaned forward and placed a soft kiss on my forehead then looked down at my belly. “No, I love it.” His fingers moved around in slow circles and I could feel her inside me as she pressed closer to him. “Hope Althea Mikaelson.”
I let out a soft gasp, immediately looking up at him. “Althea?”
“She’ll take after her mother, it’s only right she has your name as well.” He lifted my hand with his free one and kissed the knuckles, adding “I vow to never leave either of you. We will be a family sweetheart.”
And in that moment, as one hand rested against his growing daughter and the other on me, I knew that the shadows of doubt that had once clouded our hearts were finally dissipating. As we embraced, a sense of utter completeness settled over us, a promise of love and a future that would forever be intertwined. I was back home and soon our greatest Hope would join us.
