Hi!
I was wondering if you could write something with Ellie x fem reader where reader is like an actress/film director who's passionate about just filmmaking and acting in general, maybe her and Ellie met because they're jobs crossed over or maybe Ellie was a fan of reader or something.

Tumblr media
"Don't you understand, she was my daughter too.."
You muttered your lines to yourself as the artist did your makeup, brushing over your eyes as she captured an old timey look. Using so many reference photos that the entire table was filled when you walked in, giving you both something to talk about at first.
That was until a comfortable silence filled over, Mia having become a close friend of yours on set. You felt excited every morning to come and get done up for whatever scene you had as the duchess you played. Knowing she'd capture every dated detail on your skin.
But today your mind was filled with other thoughts than just the make-up. Stressed to all hell for the next few days, knowing you and the director needed to perfect both your acting and the shots that would make your performance come together.
And that was just it, you needed to be perfect.
"Nervous?" Mia asked with a smile, taking a hint from your shaky, silent nature, backing up to grab a different brush.
"Extremely." You responded with a light laugh, looking at yourself in the mirror. "You got this, you're being nominated for, not one, but multiple of the most prestigious awards in media. If anyone can pull off such an important scene, it's you. Especially with how pretty I'm making you everyday."
You nodded with a small smile, but still felt like you could pass out at any moment in time. Clutching onto the papers like they'd disappear while letting out a shaky sigh.
"I know, but-" "But you still act like you've never been in front of the camera every time they're ready for a big shellshock to be filmed. Mind you, the scenes start filming tomorrow, not today."
You winced at the very clear truth to her words.
"Too loud Mia." She laughed, continuing on with your makeup, ignoring the door opening to reveal your favorite stage manager, smiling too brightly for the fact that it was six in the morning.
"The painter is ready when you are, ready to be photographed Y/n?" You sighed in response, looking at the clock as Mia applied an old looking lip color to your mouth. "I'm ready to look like a renaissance portrait, that's for sure."
"She said she might need you for the sketch too, just to make sure she's got the best outline of you that matches, but other than that, you should be done quick and have some free time before shooting starts."
The stage manager spoke, looking down at the tablet in her hand while speaking. Mia pulling away to look at your face, turning your head lightly with her fingers.
"What's her name?" "Don't remember, all I know is that she's good and the directors favorite prop guy really likes her." Mia took the cover off your costume, allowing you to stand up in your long, olden style dress.
"Ready to be renaissanced?" You nodded, leaving the makeup trailer and telling Mia you'd see her later. Walking off towards one of the nearby buildings labeled for set creation and prop design.
The place was decked out too, even more so since the last time you'd come inside. Pieces from every time period hanging about complimented by posters on every wall. Familiar drawings and items from some scenes of your favorite shows displayed out to remind everyone that these people had made them.
They liked showing off their stuff where they could, most of the workspaces and offices a bit more boring depending on who you were talking to. But other than that, the entire building was the best on set.
"Miss Y/l/n?" An assistance appeared behind you, wearing pajama-like clothing making you wish you were them just because of how early it was. "That's me." "Right in here." They led you to an office room, though there was only a desk covered in papers and the walls lined with movie and TV art and décor.
The rest of the room had easels and different sized canvases against the walls and laid on the ground, tarps on the floor with paint covering every corner. Jars of different colors and paint brushes laid about on different carts and shelves.
"She had to leave but she should be back in a moment. She said though, you can sit there while you wait."
The person pointed at a stood that was set up across from an empty easel, a very dim light pointed at the stool.
"Alright, thank you." They nodded and left, closing the door behind them leaving you alone in the silence to admire the painters area.
Spaceships hung from the ceilings in one of the corners, little figurines and action figures on the walls and done up to look cool instead of just sitting there. But some were still in boxes making you wonder if she collected them or would eventually sell them. Judging by the room though, collector for sure.
You sat down with a racing mind, messing with your fingers while you waited. You liked the warmth the office brought, it was like a child's daydream and it made you smile.
This person definitely had an eye for the arts.
"Shit, I'm so sorry." A girl then stumbled in through the door, her black tank top covered in colors that were probably not there when she bought it, as well as her blue jeans and shoes.
Her grown out mullet pushed back from her face that only showed stress. Arms lined with paint and markings, some of it even looked like dry clay making you wonder what kind of things she'd made besides paintings.
"Fuck, I shouldn't cuss. Sorry." You laughed, finally catching her attention but not her eyes.
"I don't mind, everything alright?" "You know, it's early, people are tired, you might accidentally drop something. But a perfectly good fucking vase someone spent hours making should not be one of them."
You clenched your teeth, feeling familiar with her frustration while watching her grab a few things from her desk drawers.
"Yeah, I agree. But I've also broken bones this early in the morning, so, I should not be talking." The girl laughed, rummaging for something and then grabbing an expensive looking camera and opening the bottom of it.
"How long you been doing this?" "Uh, couple years now. Fresh out of college." She stood up turning around but not looking up. "Something that I liked besides playing video games." You giggled. "Same. But with acting and you know, the other stuff."
Finally she looked up, meeting your eyes and then seeing your smile. The morning sunrise reflecting off your irises and skin, making you glow more than you already were before the window had assisted you.
She found herself at a loss for words as you continued to talk.
"I'm Y/n, by the way, but I mean by slight chance you don't already know that. I do hate saying that though, makes me seem like I've got a big head."
The girl didn't respond for a moment, suddenly nodding and humming.
"Yeah, no, I know you. Dina- my friend- loves you. Big 'Walking Dead' fan." Ellie felt stupid in the moment, thinking you probably thought she was an idiot especially when you chuckled, covering your mouth lightly with your hand.
"Aw, that's sweet. Tell her I love her too." You winked, Ellie still struggling to speak. "Yeah, for sure. I'm Ellie by the way! Probably should've said that when I walked in."
Ellie whispered a few curses under her breath while switching the settings on the light, trying to avoid your stare that was still on her.
"Heard you were one of the best at creating stuff like this." "Really?" She choked, making you laugh with a shake of your head. "Yep. Inclined to agree, you seem cool and cool people are talented. Even if they don't know it."
"Thanks, just doing my job."
Face palm, Ellie, c'mon get it together.
"So, anything you need me to do?" Ellie stood back, hanging the camera strap around her neck while stepping in front of you.
"Just, turn this way." Her hands brushed your shoulders while you positioned yourself, noticing how close she was when she knelt down. Adjusting your limbs to look as perfect as possible.
"Chin up, like this." Her finger went under your chin making butterflies erupt in your stomach. You weren't going to lie to yourself, she was attractive, very attractive. Somewhere inside your head hoping to all that would listen that this wouldn't be your last time seeing her.
"Just like that." She muttered, making the nervousness you felt in the tense room even worse than it already was. "Better?" "Yeah, perfect."
Ellie then adjusted your outfit and look, backing up to make sure it was perfect.
To her, with the lighting, you already looked like a portrait.
"How do I look?" You questioned, eye flickering up to meet her green ones. "Good.. good, yeah." "I mean in terms of beauty on this Monday morning, c'mon. Am I just, 'good'?" Ellie froze up, grabbing her camera to distract herself.
"I guess you're pretty."
"Wow, I'm so getting your ass fired."
You both laughed, Ellie getting down to the level she wanted for the picture while aiming the camera at you.
"Just stay still." You heard the camera click a few times, wondering to yourself if she ever got sick of looking at some ones face for hours on end. She then stood up, looking down at the photos.
"Perfect, stay like that though, just wanna make sure I get the-"
"Outline?" "Yeah."
"Ever get sick of staring at the same picture?"
"Not if it's you."
It just slipped out, Ellie panicking as soon as it happened. Her face burning red while she grabbed the canvas she had set aside for your portrait. Swallowing hard when you breathed a laugh.
"I knew you thought I was more than just 'good'. Was that an attempt at a flirt? Because if so, it definitely landed."
"Good to know I've still got it." She picked up her pencil, smirking at you when you giggled, trying your best to keep your pose.
"What's it like being you?" Ellie then asked, beginning to draw the shape of your head. "Eh, not all it's chalked up to be. Scary sometimes. Awesome most times. Lonely.."
"All the time?" You shook your head slightly making your earrings move. "No. Dating fucking sucks though."
Ellie snorted, quickly following up with a quiet 'sorry' making you grin.
"Especially when you like girls, it's an even smaller pool of fish, maybe like a puddle." "Puddle o' fish?" "My favorite dating app."
You could hear the pencil against the white surface, going both quickly and precisely, her eyes moving to you and back to the work in progress.
You shifted just barely, eyes scanning over her desk once again, admiring her green rolling chair. It looked kind of like yours at home, the color just different, but the design all the same.
"I get it though, sometimes I even wonder if the light is too bright." You laughed to yourself, Ellie even chuckling at your words.
"I just don't like paparazzi because I know I look like shit on camera." Ellie then said, making you snort and barely cover your mouth before returning to your pose.
"I beg to differ." "Trust me, you wouldn't differ if you seen some of the photos my friends have." You giggled again, hearing her pencil moving slower now against the the sketch.
"They're idiots though." "Just like mine, my dorks are a hivemind of morons." Ellie nodded in agreeance, smiling. "What's it like being you?" You questioned, Ellie erasing something from the sketch.
"Eh, probably a slower life compared to yours. I get a lot of freedom. Get to do shit on my own time. I like making stuff, art." Looking around the room you realized a lot of the décor was her own, by her hand.
"I wish I could do that." "You do, in a different way." "How poetic, Ellie."
She wished she could hear her name pass your lips again and again. Something about the way you said it, like a sickeningly sweet hum.
Your eyes danced to the clock, noticing the time was becoming less and less, the sinking feeling of your departure creeping up your back.
"You gotta go?" Ellie asked, noticing your stare on the two hands pointing at their respective digits. "Not right this minute, but soon." "Might need you again."
No she wouldn't, not actually. But seeing you again was definitely on her bucket list.
"If I'm not on set, I'm available. Usually. For you though, I'll make time." You joked, copying her flirtatious nature from before. "Fuck me." She whispered with reddened cheeks, unheard by you, or at least she hoped.
"Yeah, I'll make sure to hunt you down." "Is that a promise?" Ellie felt like a school girl talking to her first crush, hoping the canvas hid her face well enough. "You bet it is."
You glanced at the time again, more minutes having passed.
"Times up Michelangelo. The camera needs me." Ellie felt a pang of disappointment, finishing up the near perfect outline of your upper half. "Alright, alright. I'm done with you, for now."
"Make me look pretty, 'kay?" "Can't fix what's not broken."
You picked up the bottom of your dress with a grin, standing up from the stool. Dusting off the long skirt as if anything had gotten on it.
"See you later?" You practically asked, walking towards the door with little happiness. "Door's always open."
"I'll take that as a yes, I'll be back to check on the painting."
"I'm counting on it." "Better be."

Your The real pleasure story got me idea of AC character walking on reader changing clothes and getting surprised and embarrassed, but spotting a tattoo on reader's ribs and since it surprised them even more, they couldn't help but checking out reader?
Could you make it for Altair, Edward and Shay, since they're my favorite and maybe for someone of your choice?
Since I have tattoo on my ribs myself I know it makes people peeking on it without even knowing. And let's be honest, tattoos since forever were relating to outlaws and God forbid any normal and decent woman has one. My granny refused speaking to me for 4 freaking days after she found out I have tattoo because in her opinion I look like someone who is straight out of prison..
🔪
Hello Knifey!
Sorry it took a few days I’m a bit slow lately ;; Also when I start writing it, it turned out a little bit different but it’s still about a reader with a rib tattoo. I hope you will like this little thing.
Also, I don’t have a tattoo myself but I adore looking at other people tattoos because they are all little works of art. So don’t worry about people being weird about it. It’s your skin, your tattoo and you can do whatever you want with it! Don’t let others tell you how to live your life!
Ayyway - here is the lil thing:
Altaїr
“Why would you stain your body like that?” Altaїr looked at you with a frown, after he spotted a tattoo covering a good part of your ribs. He was unfamiliar with that practice and people around tended to call tattooing a sin that was changing the Gods creation. Altaїr had never been a believer, especially since he saw the Apple, but he couldn’t help the disapproving tone of his voice.
“Stain?” You asked, mimicking his expression. “It’s not a stain! It’s a work of art!” You exclaimed angrily. He wasn’t the first person disapproving of your life choices, treating you like a worse kind of person only because you had a little bit of ink inside of your skin. You knew they were all wrong, but you had hoped that a person like Altaїr wouldn’t judge you. Yet, it appeared you were wrong.
Altaїr hadn’t said another word and let you leave the room.
He came back to you after a few hours, when you were preparing to go to sleep. You were still angry at your friend for his words, and it led to a minor injury during training that left you a little bruise on your arm.
“I never intended to upset you.” Those words knocked you out of your thoughts, so you turned around with an accusing look on your face.
“Don’t you knock?!”
“I did,” Altaїr was still standing near the door with a bowl of dates in his hands. “I came to…apologize. I’m not familiar with people stai- tattooing their bodies. But I am not judging you nor think lower of you.” He promised as he finally came closer, to put dates on your nightstand, next to your weapon.
“I’m sorry too. I shouldn’t outburst at you like I did. I just heard people accusing me of the weirdest things because of that tattoo.”
Altaїr nodded, accepting your apologies and soon you were sitting on the floor, eating fruits and talking about the future, novices, assassins, war, crusades… It was until Altaїr finally asked you the very thing he wanted to ask since he saw your tattoo.
“Can I see it again?” He asked and you, after a second of hesitation, raised your clothes to show him. Altaїr stretched his arm towards you and then you felt his warm fingers tracing the lines of your tattoo.
“It suits you well.”
Shay
“Oi, were you a pirate?”
With a frown you looked at Shay, that was casually leaning against the doorframe, watching you change your clothes. You really didn’t want to walk around in those kinds of clothes among the crew. You preferred the casually, comfortable clothes you could work and, most importantly, fight in.
“Why? Are you afraid I will steal your gold and sell it for a bottle of rum?”
“Ha! Very funny! As if you could steal from me! But I saw ya tattoo. So, were you a pirate?” He asked again, watching you like a hawk, After all, so many people wanted and tried to kill him, no wonder he was cautious around everyone, except Grandmaster. You joined the Templars only a few months ago.
“No, I have never been a pirate, but I saw them. When I was little I saw them with their bodies covered by tattoos, they looked like giant maps of undercover secrets and I just… I just wanted it too.” With a shrug, you put last piece of clothing over your body.
Shay had been looking at you with a grin, sparkles in his eyes as he finally took a few steps closer. His fingers brushed over your tattooed skin as he pulled you closer.
“You wanted to become a map of undercover secrets… Well, I have always wanted to be an adventurer. I think we may actually have a lot of fun together.” Just as he said it you felt a shiver going through your spine.
On that day you discovered he was both an adventurer and an owner of a tattoo kink.
Edward
“Nice ink you have there!” Edward said with a grin. You were both messy and tired after a fight and your clothes got torn, so now they were exposing part of a tattoo on your ribs. “Watcha got there?”
“Why? Want to copy me, pal?” You asked, dusting off sand and dirt of your skin. You could really use a bath, but you had to wait for Jackdaw to get the hell out of this godforsaken island.
You earned another grin as Edward suddenly took of remains of his shirt, exposing his tanned skin, almost fully covered in ink. You hardly suppressed a gasp as you saw his handsome, muscular body. You knew the bastard had a lot of tattoos but not that many.
“If ya find some free space.”
“Yeah, I guess your pale ass has some space on it,” You said and almost immediately regretted those words as you saw Edward turning around.
“Jaysus, mate, don’t you dare flash your ass at my face!” You screamed and throw a fistful of sand at him when you heard his loud laughter. Fucking pirates.
“So, now it’s your time. Show me what you got there.”
After a roll of your eyes, you finally tore off your shirt. It was hanging on a few threads anyway and way beyond saving point. Edward examined your body, looking at the tattoo with interest sparking in his blue eyes. It took him a little bit of time and you were about to throw another joke at him when he finally spoke.
“Suits you well. Not really my type of a tattoo but it’s perfect for ya.”
“Oh yes. Because you prefer to have a giant fucking hourglass tattooed on your nipple. Your taste in ink is questionable, Kenway.”

danny phantom season 2, episode 17-20 thoughts! finishing up season two! the finale is the THIRD 2-PARTER OF SEASON 2. that's so many! I wonder how many season 3 will have?
see prev episode thoughts in this tag <3
-UERGH WHY DOES VLAD HAVE AN AI WITH MADDIE'S FACE ON IT. SOOO CREEPY. AND MORE 'CREATIONS' waiiiit. vlad is Dr. Frankenstein! (despite his ghost design obviously referencing vampires) HE HAS 'CREATIONS' HE MAKES THEN WONT TAKE REAL RESPONSIBILITY FOR!!! this bitch.
-danny was late and his friends immediately start going off about how hes inconsiderate, and has been treating them like sidekicks??? he just overslept, my god. chill. even if he has, be nicer about talking about it with him?? he really can't help that he sometimes has to chase the ghosts, or has a secret identity to protect...
-'what kind of ghost haunts a miniature golf course' umm. me as a ghost. next question
-imagine going home and theres a tiny child on your bed claiming to be your cousin. with as many cousins I have, I would probably believe her. but the 'ran away from home' BIT....SHES 12?? SHES SO TINY. I hate that they have her belly out in her ghost form, but I like how her colors are asymmetrical. something about her design...maybe the proportions?? are weird to me...anyway danny was good to feed her, but he shouldve taken her to his parents FIRST. or, tbh, probably jazz. (JAZZ DIDNT EVEN GET TO MEET HER!!! NOOO. I mean she said she'll be BACK BUT STILL)
-ANYWAY. shes voiced by AnnaSophia Robb, the girl who was in because of winn dixie, played as violet from charlie and the chocolate factory, and was the girl from bridge to terrabithia. (the movie that made me cry hysterically when I was 12 and I never watched it again because it Broke Me!) thats super cool.
-vlad sucks: the episode, basically. what's new!! I love how he's like, I'm Not A Villain. *immediately cuts to him torturing danny to make him transform, to get mid-transformation DNA, to perfect a Clone.* *immediately shows that he doesnt give a shit about his new daughter Dani and just wants a ''more perfect clone'' and will put her in danger to get that. will let her DIE to get that*
-Dani is danny's clone and is a girl? transgenderism....one of them has to be trans. or they both are.
-dani just. leaving at the end. WHAT? SHES 12. DONT JUST. NO!!! SHE WAS PROBABLY JUST BORN, A MONTH AGO AT MOST, RIGHT?? SHE NEEDS...SOMEWHERE TO LIVE. MONEY? FOOD?? A FAMILY?? AN EDUCATION???! WHAT DO YOU MEAN SHE'S LEAVING!!! OKAY BYE I GUESS!!! D: concern!!!
-the next ep opens with skulker chasing a ghost down. ...does skulker count as a ghost hunter in the way valerie and danny do? I mean, sure, he hunts the good guys too, but he. he hunts ghosts...also, we haven't seen his Real Form since his debut episode! tiny...
-the guys in white are back! ngl, I assumed they were a gag for that one episode. you're telling me they might actually be a threat? ok.
-valerie in her lil nasty burger uniform looks so cute!! glad shes not in that mascot uniform this time. I guess she stopped hiding that she's working there now?
-gregor having white hair, dressed in black and white...and green eyes...sam has a Type, I guess.
-danny being unnecessarily hostile about gregor. danny!!! hes been nice so far. he looks a little...tall to be 14, but. danny doesnt know anything about him! (he does Suspect, but...you cant just spy on people and be rude to them from a hunch.) also, gregor kissed her, and when she freaked out, he was like 'oh no!! sorry, we can take it slow! I understand!' which was NICE. I hate jealousy plots still tho.
-altho. umm. tucker, being concerned about danny spying on them??? SAM AND YOU WERE SPYING ON DANNY AND VALERIE A FEW EPISODES AGO!!!!! im not saying its RIGHT, but dont be a hypocrite!!! AND THEN SAM BEING MAD ABOUT IT, TOO.
-DANNY IS A 7 ON THE SCALE OF ECTOPLASMIC POWER!!! out of 10? so I want to know where the other ghosts rank...I mean it's a list from the guys in white, so, it may not even be accurate, like, they havent seen ALL of his powers, have they?
-Lancer being like 'im not cooperating with the FEDS' until they said they could access his tax records. they already did that joke with jack, but like, its still funny. kings of tax evasion.
-tucker's aggressive third-wheeling. but gregor being super into it. gregor/tucker is the real ship here. then gregor kissing danny on both cheeks after hugging him. bi poly king gregor. (he does turn out to be a liar with a phoney accent. unsurprising, BUT THE CONCEPT OF HIM BEING GENUINE AND THEM ALL DATING IS FUN)
-THE...GUYS IN WHITE THINKING GREGOR IS DANNY PHANTOM. LMAOOO. GET HIS ASS. or,, Elliot. lmfao
-sam saying tucker is part of the package because theyre friends was super sweet <3 but also 'part of the package'...polyships are obviously the solution to these dumb jealousy/love triangle plots.
-danny crashed a whole plane. the collateral damage...
-is he....
Tumblr media
-you know....
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
.... (ITS NOT GAY IF YOU'RE DOING IT TO PRETEND TO BE SOMEONE YOU'RE NOT, AND LIE TO A GIRL. RIGHT? he was getting a little too into pretending to enjoy tucker's company, and the above...c'mon, guy.)
-lmao, freakshow is in actual prison. I didn't expect a follow up, or for him to show back up! in the finale of this season, too!
-THE SICK TATTOO GHOST IS NAMED LYDIA!!! more Lore On her. freakshow seemed genuinely concerned about her. also, is she mute? I don't think she talked the first time we saw her, either. and we didn't know freakshow 'envied' ghosts, either, the first time, we just knew he was controlling them. interesting!
-...they literally stole the infinity gauntlet from marvel and called it the reality gauntlet. is that legal. what the fuck. even with the gems in the lil slots, having different powers...they had freakshow in jail, but didnt check his pockets??! hes just still in his lil outfit??? what kind of ...oh, its in amity park. yeah, all of the adults are idiots, okay, sure.
-'freakshow!' 'in the anemic flesh!' dude take some iron pills then. also, sure, the red eyes could be contacts for his aesthetic, but the whites of his eyes are yellow! does he have jaundice?! he severely needs more...like, every kind of vitamin. (this is what im worried about as freakshow attacks danny with giant robots)
-again, goth circus is a sick theme, and I love his goth train.
-oh FUCK every single person saw danny transform. on a stage. including his parents via TV. oh god. the guys in white and immediately like 'youre coming in for experiments!' SCARY. at least the crowd is willing to help him to escape...perks of now being a local celeb! even the kids at school are accepting :) this is what, the third time his family has found out? its always been an alt timeline tho. and danny fully intending to just rewrite things again instead of...I dunno, trying to roll with it this time? hes really worried his family won't accept him, huh...
-'maybe our son IS THE GHOST BOY, but its not as if our family's ghostly activities have EVER PUT YOUR FAMILIES IN DANGER' maddie. mmmmmmmmmmmm. okay.
-danny 100% prepared to run away from home because of this :( oh :( and saying his parents are 'looking for him, or a scalpel to dissect him with' ouch...
-THE GUYS IN WHITE TRYING TO ARREST A 14 YEAR OLD. fuck da feds.
-side note (another one about voice actors...) freakshow's voice actor, Jon Cryer, was lex luthor in pretty much every DC tv show, which is why I recognized his voice, because my dad loves those shows so I've seen a good bit of them without seeking them out...)
-the old man saying 'hey, i still had minutes left!' and danny saying 'you gotta watch those roaming charges!' about danny destroying the people in the diner's phones so no one could report seeing him...would kids today understand these things. can you even BUY minutes anymore...I remember my first phone being a flip phone, and the fact I always had minutes when my sister ran out super fast, because I didnt have friends calling or texting me like she did...:/
-the fentons being genuinely like 'why didnt danny trust us and tell us this, we love him :(' and JAZZ LAYING INTO THEM WITH THE 'DISSECTION/MOLECULE BY MOLECULE' LINES. LITERALLLLY. they need to apologize
-technically, lydias stronger than you! -jazz lesbianism moments! when did you even learn her name!!! but also get freakshows ass. lydia is also cooler looking. looove her design sm still.
-jazz psychoanalyzing freakshow... (also, her also having ghost envy? au where jazz is a ghost!! id like to see it)
-im glad the kids still got to go to their respective vacation things, even if they cant really stick around and enjoy them much...
Tumblr media
-furry: confirmed. (also tucker calling her hot. tucker is a furry confirmed)
-danny being mad someone at the comic con is selling comics of him without permission, lmfao. give him his royalties!
-freakshow > thanos because hes a drama clown and does use his gauntlet to be FLASHY AND DRAMATIC.
-jazz's 'USE PYSCOLOGY' to danny about freakshow LMAOO. AND THEN IT WORKING. but, oh, freakshow's ghost form sucks. I like him as a clown better tbh. good thing danny took away his ghost powers!
-his parents hugging him and saying theyre proud :"( and saying 'of course you lied to us, we never gave you a reason not to!' and saying they were in the wrong basically for always talking about hurting ghosts aaaa :""(
-then he WIPED THEIR MEMORIES AGAIN!!! FUCK. I can understand him wiping the goverments/student bodies' memories, but why his parents?? they were being accepting!! ARGHHH. season 3 couldve been them all trying to adjust to them knowing!
-I know, on a meta level the showrunners probably wanted to just reset things to the status quo of him having a secret identity. But. We've been doing that for (2) seasons, I'd love if season 3 could be like, his parents adjusting to this and trying way harder to learn more and accept it (and the shenanigans that could come from that) and for fun, if he didn't wipe the students memories, it could be him being popular for a while, then everyone slowly realizing, oh, he's still Danny. Like. he might have ghost powers but hes Just The Same Guy instead of putting him on a pedestal (and seeing them all try and help him hide it from the giw/people who don't know!!)
-fuck they didn't even explain WHY he wiped everyone except sam, tucker and jazz's memories. he just Did It right when his parents were saying they loved/accepted him!! and sam and tucker didnt question it at all!!! HELLO??? very annoyed about this turn of events.
-anyway. onto season 3! I know its shorter than the first two seasons, and is the last season... I might just do it in 2 bursts if I can... :3c depends on the episodes' content and how much I want to say about each!

10:12 a.m. at Isle Defino's Patio.......
Dark Pit: (Slams hie Hands On the Table) ('SLAM') Alright, dumbasses. Any of you got any ideas on what we're gonna do here today?
Pit: There's so many places to choose from.....I'm not even sure where go to first.
Yoshi: I spotted this cool looking ramen shop a few blocks from here. Maybe we can go there for lunch later.
Ryuji: (Smiles Softly) I'm down. Their ramen might be good. Maybe even better than Min-Min's.
Elsewhere in Isle Defino.....
Min-Min: (Let's Out a Sudden Sneeze) ('Chu')
Capt. Falcon: You alright there, Min?
Min-Min: (Quick Turns to Falcon) Oh. Uh yeah. I'm fine, Captain. I could've sworn felt a distrubence just now.....
Capt. Falcon: (Shrugs) Eh. Probably just the heat weather.
Min-Min: Maybe..........
Back to the Patio.....
Dark Pit: That's one place down. Anything else?
Yusuke: I, for one, plan on going to the beach side of this island to begin my new creation thoroughly.
Ryuji: (Gives Yusuke a Bit of a Playful Smirk on his Face) Gonna find more crabs to draw, my man?
Yusuke: Not quite I'm afraid. I am more interested in finding unique and rare forms of seashells if anything. (Turns to Tails) And it seems I might need your mechanic assistance on this, Tails.
Tails: (Smiles a Bit Sheepishly at the Inspired Young Artist) I....didn't really bring my tools here with me. So I can't really help you on a mechanical level. But I can buy you a metal detector if you want.
Yusuke: (Smiles Softly) That sounds like a good enough comparison. Many thanks, my two tailed friend.
Tails: (Giggles Softly While Blushing a Little) No problem, Yusuke.
???: Morning, peeps.
Ryuji: Hey, morning bro- (Eyes Suddenly Widened For a Brief Second Before Snickering at the Sight of Making his Way to the Table With Red Kiss Marks on his Face) Dude, is that really you?
Ren: (Seats Himself Down) In the flesh.
Dark Pit: (Sighs While Pinching his Nose) Alright. I'll bite. (Turns to Ren) Why are you covered in kiss marks?
Ren: Oh. Well, Makoto and I found out that today's Kiss Day earlier thos morning. So Makoto decided to pull on the red lipstick Ann brought her for her birthday a few months ago, and started kissing my face. (Smirks Softly at the Memory) Loved every minute of it too~
Pit: And you still have kiss marks on you.....why exactly?
Ren: (Shrugs) Eh. No real reason really. Just felt it showing it to the world a bit longer, you know? (Noticed the Gang is Staring at Him) What?
Yoshi: You know what we're gonna ask you now, right?
Everyone: WHY AREN'T YOU TWO MARRIED YET!!?
Ren: Hey! Come on! We will! Just in the near future, alright? We JUST graduated high school together.
Pit: I still wanna be a Ring Bearer!!
?????: Who's wedding are we talking about again?
Tails: (Turns and Sighs Once He Sees Sonic Sitting Next to Him With Having Pink Kiss Marks All Around his Face) Let me guess: Amy found out today's Kiss Day and kissed you like crazy?
Sonic: Yup. Mom and pa blurted it out on our double date yesterday and the rest was history.
Tails: (Smirks at Sonic Playfully) You enjoyed minute of it, didn't you?~
Sonic: (Sighs While Blushing) Yeah......(Smiles a Little While Slouching his Head Down a Little) That girl sure knows how to kiss a guy, you know?~
Tails: (Chuckles Lightly) I believe so, Mr. Lover Boy~
Sonic: Keep making fun of me and it'll be your turn soon enough, Tails (Starts Smirking Playfully Himself) And with a certain bandicoot girl nonetheless~
Tails: (Already Has a Deadpinned Look on his Face) How many times do I have to keep telling you people that we're JUST FRIENDS? There's no way Coco and I would ever participate in something like that.
Sonic: Okay....(Smirk Starts Growing a Bit Wider) But why did you let her kiss you under the mistletoe though?~
Tails: (Eyes Widened in Complete Shock) H-How did you.....
Sonic: Wave told Amy and I all about it when it all happened. (Gives Tails a Thumbs Up) And we already approved~
Tails: (Immediately Turns Away From Sonic While Blushing) S-Shut Up......
Morgana: (Sighs While Sitting Down on The Group's Table With Multi Color Kiss Marks (Pink, Blue, and Green) All Over His Face) Morning......
Ren: (Starts Snickering at Morgana Along With Ryuji and Pit) Damn, Mona. You too?
Morgana: Yeah. Me too. Once Futuba found out that today was Kiss Day, she SOMEHOW convinced Haru and Lavenza to kiss me. With different Lipstick colors!!
Ryuji: (Still Snickering) C'mon, cat. Look on the bright side. At least one of your kissers was a certain Velvet girl you've been crushing on~
Ren: (Teasingly Nodded in Agreement)
Morgana: (Glares at Ryuji) .......Ryuji. One of these days when I become human again and grow older, I will do everything in my power to suplex you into the ground.
Ryuji: (Chuckles Lightly) Cute threat, Mona, but uh...(Hold Both of his Arms Up While Showing Off his Muscles) ('Heh') I got bit stronger as of late. So might it take you a lot years before you even lift a finger on me, you know?
Morgana: ('Sighs in Defeat') Crap. You're right. It'll be too long if I waited.....Oh well. When all else fails, I can always kick you in shins.
Ryuji: (Glares at Morgana) Do it and I'll chase you to end the Earth, cat.
Morgana: (Glares at Ryuji) Wanna bet?
Ryuji: If you're up for it!
Dark Pit: Calm your asses down already. We still haven't decided what the first thing we should do here-
With the sound of two girls giggling with one another, the gang turns to see Ann and Shiho making their way to the table together while having kiss marks on each of their faces.
Ryuji: Geez....Even Ann and Shiho got into the holiday.....
Ren: Right?
Ann: Hey, guys. (Sit Herself Down Next to Shiho While Giggling Softly)) You're probably wondering why we're-
Ren: You two found out about Kiss Day is today. So it led to the both of you making out. Am I right?
Shiho: Wait. How did you- (Starts Snickering Once She Noticed the Kiss Marks on his Face) Did Makoto seriously kiss all over your face?~
Ren: (Smirks Proudly) Yep! It might be the most cutest thing she done so far~ Don't tell her I said that by the way.
Ann: ('Sigh') You know, Ren, it astounds me that you two have been acting like a married couple since since day one and yet neither of you STILL have proposal to one another yet!
Ren: Um. Does "We just graduated" doesn't ring you any bells, Takamaki? And besides, if anything, I'm surprised YOU TWO having proposal to one another yet. You already have apartment together and give each other pet names. Might as start now while you're ahead.
Ann: Oh trust me. Shiho and I WILL marry each other very soon and you are gonna be our best man.
Ren: (Eyes Widened a Little in Genuine Surprise) Oh shit. Really?
Ann: (Giggles Softly) Yes. Really. You're one of my best friends, Ren. I can't think of anyone else to fit that role better than you. Well, I mean, there's Ryuji, but.... I'm not sure if could take up the role that well. (Turns to Ryuji) No offense.
Ryuji: Eh. It's no problem. (Smiles Brightly at Ren) I totally see Ren being Best Man material lot more than I could.
Ren: Huh. Well, if that's really what you girls want....(Smiles Softly) I'd be happy to be your future Best Man.
Ann: (Squeals Happily While Pulling Ren into a Loving Hug) Thank you so much, Ren-Ren!~
Shiho: (Happily Joins into the Hug) You have no idea how happy you made us-
Pit: (Suddenly Slams the Table With Excitement) ('SLAM') I GOT IT!
Dark Pit: (Turns to Pit Along With Everyone Else) What is it, Pit-Stain?
Pit: I just thought of something we could do first! Souvenir shopping!
'Silence'
'Wave Sounds'
Yoshi: You.....got any ideas, Pit?
Pit: (Happily Nodded) Yep! We can go souvenir shopping together. All this talk about Kiss Day has really made me miss Viridi a lot more than before. (Smiles Brightly) So I wanna buy her souvenir gift we could enjoy, you know?
Ann: Awwwww~ Pit~ Of course we can go souvenir shopping together.
Shiho: (Smiles Softly) We can even help you pick something nice for her and everything.
Sonic: You ladies mind helping my little bro with that too. (Smirks Teasingly Again) He has a Bandicoot Girl back home to impress~
Tails: (Glares at Sonic While Blushing Again) D-Don't you ever shut up anymore, Sonic!? And besides, I already promised Yusuke that I would buy him that metal detector!
Yusuke: (Gives Tails a Reassuring Smile) Oh there's really no need for you to go to the trouble to buy it for me. I believe you should use it give your lady friend something nice.
Sonic: See? Yusuke's gets it.
Tails: ('Sighs in Defeat') Fine..... I'll buy her a souvenir. But NOT because I have a crush! She's my best friend and nothing more.
Sonic: Whatever you say, lil' bro.
Ryuji: (Turns to Morgana) Hey, Mona, maybe you should try souvenir shopping too. (Starts Smirking Again) Maybe something nice your Velvet girl~
Morgana: (Eye Starts Twitching Before Turning to Ren) Seriously. Can I PLEASE kick his shins already!?
Ren: No.
Ann: Be nice to Ryuji, Mona.
Mona: ('Ugh') Fine......
Yoshi: (Turns to Dark Pit) We should give it a shot, DP. You could buy something nice for your girlfriends back home.
Dark Pit: I don't know....There might be a possibility that they won't it.
Yoshi: Ah don't be like that. I'm sure they'll love anything you get for them. Even if isn't fancy like or whatever.
Dark Pit: Wait. How much souvenirs usually cost exactly?
Yoshi: (Shrugs) I dunno. Five to ten bucks maybe?
Dark Pit: (Shrugs as Well) Eh. Fuck it. I'm down.
Pit: Alright! All in favor of Souvenir Shopping say 'AYE'!
Everyone: 'AYE'
Happy Kiss! (Again!)

To Clarify
Request
warning: fluff,
Summary: Pietro falling for an android vision had made to be his sister
Tumblr media
After the battle With Ultron, the work was not done. The Avengers moved all the citizens far away from the city as they could and then combed the ruins for survivors and any lingering metal bots. Very few survivors were found and there were no lingering bots but what was found was another cradle. In this cradle was another body but this body didn’t have a stone and it was a female.
Now in any other case, they would have easily gotten rid of the body and moved on with their lives but this woman was alive this woman held a heartbeat even if there was literally nothing in her mind. All of them were conflicted with the idea of just turning her off especially with Vision around. So they decided to keep her and finish making her, hopefull not gaining another Ultron.
She was not like Vision she didn’t have a power source such as the stone so Tony built her a reactor such as his. And her body was different more “detailed” and human-like than Vision yet more electronic as she could easily plug herself into any server which was great for missions and gathering information. She also didn’t eat but she did sleep... sort of, more like charged or downloaded. At night she would plug herself up an everyday charge wasn’t necessary only every month if she didn’t do anything crazy but she did like to download and gather information from the internet. Constantly keeping herself smart.
As a creation, she was a miracle just as Vision maybe even more. A show that life could be made with technology and it wasn’t limited and depended to just woman. But after the whole Ultron downfall, no one in their right mind would bust out the idea of robot babies so nothing was really going to come from her at least not now.
As a person, Her name was (Y/n). She was the electronic daughter of Tony Stark and Bruce Banner and sister of Vision. She was shy as she didn’t understand most human interaction but kind and offered help to anyone who asked for it and incredibly smart she had the answers to just about everything and if she didn’t you surely would know everything you asked and more the next day.
Not only was she sweet, kind, and had a good heart she caught the heart of the Avengers most annoying speedster, Pietro.
Most people said when they met the loves of their lives their hearts speed up but in Pietro’s case his heart slowed down along with time. It was like everything slowed down when he first saw her everything moved in slow motion. Everything was just ...her. And then he ran through a glass door. She asked Tony if people normally did that because her data said nothing about that. Awesome first impression.
“Hello, I am (Y/n)” she said smiling kindly. The others quickly introduced themselves shaking her and hugging her and welcoming her to the family. The only person who didn’t introduce themselves was Pietro he instead remained in the corner of the room watching as others did. He didn’t know why but he couldn’t bring himself to walk up to her as he was nervous. For the first time ever he was nervous he was too fast to think long enough to be nervous and here he was nervous. He didn’t know what to do.
“Pietro? are you okay?” Wanda asked when she noticed his brother’s change in behavior.
“um...yeah, yeah, I’m okay”
“come say hi”
“okay”
Wanda slowly leads her brother to the group that was still introducing themselves to (Y/n). She smiled as she saw him coming her way.
“Hey, I’m- I’m Pietro”
Everyone stopped as the heard Pietro smart mouth, talkback, ladies girl, speedster Pietro was stuttering. It was definitely a shock and had everybody leaning back in amusement wanting to see what exactly what was going to happen. This was funny.
“Hello, I’m (Y/n). I’ve heard that you are fast”
“Yeah, I’m pretty fast” he chuckled a bit rubbing his head nervously.
“Maybe I can observe your speed later on”
“Um sure yeah, yeah. That would be yeah” She smiled kindly and went back to talk to Vision. Pietro blushed as she looked then he noticed the others looking at him amused he huffed then speed away quickly.
-
Pietro watched as (y/n) and Vision was in a deep conversation talking about some fascinating human thing they discovered or learned about and now understand.
“You’ve been staring at them for the last 30 minutes,” Clint said as he leaned on the counter next to Pietro and stared at them as well. “ You should go talk to her”
“About what”
“Anything, I’m sure your mind is speeding through topics as we speak.”
“That’s kind of the problem. My mind is speeding through topics I can’t pick one especially one that will get her attention.”
“Did she say she wanted to observe your speed at one point.”
“Yeah a couple of weeks ago”
“that’s something to talk about and it looks like he found it interesting.”
“You’re right yeah. Okay”
This is not at all what he expected. Pietro was running and (Y/n)’s eyes were on a special Stark tablet and the treadmill instead of him and to top it off Vision was also here.
“You’re quite amazing I bet you could run to Florida and back in a couple of hours if you wanted to maybe even less.” She praised him. He blushed and began to slow down suddenly he was stumbling off the treadmill and went flying across the room. “ Was that suppose to happen?”
“no, I don’t believe so. Pietro, are you alright?
“I’m fine Vision,” he said through his teeth although he was pretty sure a large bruise would be forming on his back soon. “ I think that’s enough for today. I’m going to get a snack”. And he speeded off to the kitchen.
“OW. How did it go?” Clint asked as Natasha popped his hand from trying to take her food.
“diaster. She invited Vision bare;y even talked and when she did I made myself look like a fool and feel of the treadmill and landed on my back,” he said then dropped his head on the table with a loud bang.
“Sound like you got it bad,” Natasha said. Thanks to Clint she was up to speed on the situation already. “ Maybe you should stop trying so hard and go the easy route. You know just ask her out already”
“what and am I suppose to say? Hey (Y/n) you’re cute let's go on a date?”
“Okay”
Pietro jumped and Clint and Natasha smiled as he turned around to Find (y/n) standing behind him. When he left she did not believe him when he said he was okay so after giving Vision all the research they had gathered she decided to go check on him and she ended up walking into the end of their conversation and catching his question. which she happily answered.
Giving him her answer and see that he was indeed okay she began to walk away but then stopped and turned around. “To clarify you do mean date as in a social or romantic engagement or appointment?” he nodded “ Okay then yes”. And with that, she walked away again.
“How hard was that?” Clint asked smirking
“See you didn’t have to watch her from afar for weeks like a creep you could have just asked her out. “ Natasha teased
“Shut up and help me plan a date”

jasmine here!! bringing the lovely cindy to your dash <3 you can read a lil about my angel below. i’m always open for plotting here or on discord ( jasmine#0328 )
『CINDY KIMBERLY❙ CIS-FEMALE』 ⟿ looks like OLIVIA CASTILLO is here for HER SECOND year as a LAW student. SHE is 20 years old & known to be COMPASSIONATE, AMBITIOUS, NEUROTIC & IMPULSIVE. They’re living in PERKINS, so if you’re there, watch out for them. ⬳ jasmine. 19. est. she/her.
Tumblr media
background
most know her as “america’s sweetheart,” but these days, she prefers to go by liv. olivia ‘liv’ castillo doesn’t come from any fabulous wealth or a lavish lifestyle. she grew up in brooklyn, new york, never once leaving the state until she was 15. her father is a professor of ethics at columbia university and her mother, a pediatrician. her parents had brought her up to be kind and just, always reminding her that there were people in the world far less fortunate than she was.
the strong foundation of being compassionate had always set liv apart from her peers. she was the kind of girl that would give her lunch away to the kid who couldn’t afford a meal, the kind of girl that would be the one to help someone in need out, without ever knowing their name. at a young age, liv knew that the thing that made her happiest was helping those around her. and as she grew, that same compassion expanded.
she could feel her heart hurt because of the injustices around the world she had seen, and she wanted to do more. so at age 13, liv decided to create her own foundation, that set out to end severe social and economic inequalities across the world, starting with the one of the largest states in the us, new york. her campaign blew up across social media, turning heads and making people wonder how someone so young could make change. only a few months later, liv received support from dozens of u.s. representatives and senators, as well as overwhelming support from the president and first lady at the time. by the time she was 14, liv was directly involved in the creation of 6 new laws, now known in legislature as the ‘castillo act,’ that target social and economic inequalities.
liv decided to switch to homeschooling, leaving high school to pursue her dream of changing the world. for the next two years, liv spent many of her days in other countries, meeting elected officials and discussing possible solutions for the worldwide problem. she became someone who was beloved by so many a a young age, many beginning to refer to her as ‘america’s sweetheart.’ and at age 16, liv became the youngest recipient of the nobel peace prize, for her valiant efforts in achieve economic and social equality globally.’
while it was amazing to have such power at a young age, a part of liv wanted to be normal again, which is partly why she decided to pursue college. she decided to go into law, in hopes of becoming a politician or ambassador so she can continue to make change in the world
personality
liv is a very sweet person. she genuinely sees the good in all people, and doesn’t let someone’s label or status affect how she sees them
she’s very intelligent and driven in what she wants, but at the same time, she likes to have fun and relax
can be innocent in that, she doesn’t get in trouble and doesn’t have a lot of experience with relationships
she’s never been one to care what people think of her, though to some extent, she does want people to like her
liv is very socialable and is loves to help people out, whether it be with school or just a quick favor, she’s always open for it, no strings attached
she gets neurotic at times when she’s nervous, has a tendency to ramble on when she’s unsure of herself
liv has a very good temper, it honestly takes a lot to annoy her or make her angry. but she can take things personally and has a sensitive side when it comes to the things she cares about.
wanted connections
platonic
best friends (0/?): her ride or dies! people she’s super close with and super loyal to. people she met when she came to college or knew before and pretty much just clicked with
unlikely friend (0/?): someone who’s not really like her. maybe they’re darker or more self-involved than she is, but either way, both of them seem to get along
bad influence (0/?): liv obviously didn’t really grow up being much of a trouble maker, and maybe this person did. liv became friends with them, and usually finds herself getting in trouble whenever they hang out.
party friend(s) (0/?): since liv didn’t exactly have the normal kind of teenage years, she definitely wants to have some of that when she’s in college which means going to parties and having fun
romantic
fwb (0/1): both of them are friends and obviously attracted to each other. maybe they aren’t ready for a commitment, or just want to have some fun. liv isn’t super experienced so maybe this is her way of having some fun without dealing with a relationship
polar opposites (0/1): kind of like an unlikely friend, but add some good ‘ol sexual tension. both of them are pretty much nothing alike, and under normal circumstances, they’d never get along. but they say that opposites attract and liv can’t help but wonder what if?
ex (0/?): this ones pretty self-explanatory, but basically this person and liv dated and now they aren’t. their current relationship is up in the air.
perfect match (0/1): these two are essentially the ones everyone roots for. they have everything going for them and would easily be the cutest couple in school, except neither of them really see it, yet.
unrequited (0/1): this person had or has a crush on liv. except she really doesn’t feel the same way, only seeing them as a friend. maybe they’re hostile towards her now or still trying to convince her that they’d be good together
secret hookup (0/1): for some reason, liv and this person decided to keep their hookup a secret. maybe this person was with someone, or was vibing with someone else while it happened? either way, at risk of not hurting the people around them, they kept it a secret.
on again, off again (0/1): liv and this person just can’t seem to stay together. one minute they’re together and the next their not. maybe they have some underlying problems that neither can really talk about, which is why they’re in a constant game of a tug-a-war.

50 Things I’m Convinced Harry Styles Does as a New Dad: A List
Missed the first few lists? → Find them here, here, and here!
1. Makes sure to count all ten fingers and all ten toes on your baby, first thing.
2. Says, “Always say new babies look li’ potatoes, but our lil’ one looks like a dream.”
3. Calls Anne to tell her the news at 4am, greeting her with, “Hi, Grandmum! Gonna come meet your new grandbaby?!” and although he tries to hide it, he can’t help tearing up when she begins to cry with delight.
4. Slightly gasps when he realizes his child inherited his dimples, holding the baby close up to his face so you can get a side-by-side comparison.
5. Doesn’t sleep in the hospital when the baby is in the room, wanting to keep an eye on the bassinet at all times.
6. Isn’t be able to stop taking pictures of your new bundle of joy, sending every one of them to you so you can save them in your phone, too.
7. Whispers, “Hiya, love. I’m your dad. Been dyin’ t’ meet ye’,” when your baby looks up at him with full, open eyes for the first time.
8. Looks up at you in delight when your baby makes small cooing sounds for the first time, making sure you heard them, too.
9. Has you scooch over in the hospital bed so he can lie next to you with the baby on your chest, feeling a bit left out when he sees the two of you cuddling without him.
10. Hesitantly requests to he burps the baby after your first feeding, giving a proud grin every time your child hiccups in response to his gentle patting.
11. Glances from you to the baby for at least an hour, trying to decide who he loves more. “Hate to say it, but I think I love the little one a bit more,” he’d tell you, and you wouldn’t even be mad.
12. Has a hard time letting you hold the baby, wanting to keep the bundle to himself. “Had ‘em for a whole nine months - t’s my turn now!”
13. Is embarrassed when he begins to cry after signing the birth certificate, promising the notary he doesn’t normally act this way.
14. Says, “Oh, dear. That’s the wrong name! Meant to name the thing Styles Styles like New York, New York or summat!” once he’s signed the certificate, trying to take the attention off of his tears.
15. Asks the baby nurse to demonstrate how to properly put on a nappy, even though he’s done it millions of times on other babies. He watches her intently, biting his lip and nodding whenever she explains something further.
16. Talks to the baby in hushed tones while you try to rest. “Mumma’s tired, gotta let her sleep. We could rest too, y’know. Just a little nap?”
17. Responds to congratulatory text messages from family and friends with, “…what baby?”
18. Continues to call your baby the nicknames he’d been using for the past nine months. “Everything’s all right, Sprout.” and “Don’t ye’ worry, Bug. Daddy’s got ye’.”
19. Sings cheerfully while he dresses your baby in the outfit he bought to go home in, replacing every “Olivia” with your baby’s name in the song of the same title.
20. Asks if you’ll let him be the one to put the baby in the car seat outside of the hospital, taking extra care when he buckles your child in, glancing up at you while you watch, smiling nervously.
21. Drives home from the hospital so cautiously, you wonder if you’ll ever get back to your house as you sit next to the car seat in the back, catching his eye in the rearview mirror every now and then.
22. Gives the baby a tour of your house, stopping at your bed and saying, “And this is where we made ye’, righ’ ‘ere in this bed. Don’t tell Mum I tol’ ye’, though.”
23. Gets you everything you need, not wanting you to move from the couch and risk hurting yourself. You can tell he’s trying to be quiet and not wake the baby when he fetches you a glass of water from the kitchen, insisting that you need to stay hydrated.
24. Falls asleep while resting his head on your shoulder, the two of you watching your creation sleep soundly in the bassinet that’s attached to your bed.
25. Holds his baby on the underside of his forearm, gently cradling the baby’s head in his palm, bending down to rub his nose against the newborn’s, his eyelashes fluttering against the soft cheeks of your child.
26. Rolls his eyes at you when you get teary-eyed over the stereotypical dad-and-baby moment you walked in on. You insist it’s the hormones that have caused you to cry over your baby asleep on his chest while he naps on the couch, but you’ve waited your whole life to see such a thing, and you can’t help but cry now that you’ve got it.
27. Rocks his newborn gently in the middle of the night, letting you catch up on sleep in the next room. “Shh, shh,” he’d say as he paces around the room. “Did I ever tell ye’ about the time I ran m’bike into a fence?”
28. Makes this face when he sees your baby’s dirtiest nappy to date.
29. Asks if two weeks old is too young for your child to have a pair of Gucci boots.
30. He’d call to you in an urgent tone - one that frightens you while you’re in the kitchen and he’s in the living room with the baby - telling you to hurry up. When you reach him, somewhat out of breath from panic, he’s grinning down at your child, who had apparently just laughed for the first time. “Laughed at me! Laughed at Dad! Imagine that!”
31. Tells Anne that she can no longer tell him what to do, as he’s somebody’s father now.
32. Tweets two weeks after the baby is born, “Overwhelmed. Overjoyed. Mum and baby are well. Thank you for the kind words. All the love. xx”
33. Insists on using the baby wrap every time you go out, wanting the baby as close to him as possible as you’re walking down the street.
34. Has the baby suck on his finger while you’re in the shower, smiling softly as he keeps your child occupied until you’re ready to take over.
35. Can’t help but smile anytime a pap or fan congratulates him on the baby, graciously thanking them and bowing his head with a bashful grin.
36. Takes the morning shift so you can take your time waking up, changing the baby’s diaper and booping his newborn on the nose while he asks his child how they slept, his voice scratchy and deep with the bit of sleep he’d managed to get.
37. Watches the sleeping baby in the early evening whispering, “Can’t believe you’re half o’me,” as he looks on.
38. Says, “You’re nakie!” in a sing-song voice whenever he changes the baby’s clothes.
39. Rests your child in his lap while he’s sitting on the couch next to you, unable to quit laughing while he tickles the baby’s soft tummy, eliciting screeches and giggles from the little one. He beams up at you while you film the interaction on your phone, and you can’t help but grin along with him.
40. Gets the first initial of his baby’s name tattooed on his wrist, right where you can find his pulse. When you ask why he chose the placement, he says, “Wear my heart on m’sleeve, yeah?”
41. Pretends to eat your baby’s hands and feet to make both of you - your child and you - laugh.
42. Always includes the baby in your conversations “Where shall we go for lunch, Bean?” he’ll ask, waiting for an answer. “Mmm, yes. Sounds delicious.”
43. Folds the clean baby clothes from the laundry basket so delicately, you have to remind him they’re not glass. “Jus’ so big in m’ hands. Weird our baby’s this small…”
44. Reads books aloud to the two of you before bed, sitting on the footrest of the rocking chair in the nursery while you feed, insisting that Goodnight Moon is your baby’s all-time favorite work.
45. Places the baby on your stomach and laughs softly at the image, his fingers on his chin as he examines the two of you. When you ask what he’s doing, he responds with, “There’s no way the babe would fit in there now!”
46. Blows raspberries on the baby’s tummy while you’re preparing the water for bath time, giggling every time the baby squeals in response.
47. Asks, “When’re ye’ gonna grow hair, hmm?” as he shields the baby’s eyes from the soap as you wash the downy hair on your child’s head. “Makin’ Dad look bad, havin’ a baby without lucious locks!”
48. Buys the baby sunglasses to match his, insisting that they’re for health purposes, and you can’t help but agree with the reasoning. Until, that is, you find him taking pictures of your child wearing the sunnies whilst inside.
49. Posts a picture of just the baby’s feet exactly a month after they’re born - the first picture of even a glimpse of your child shared online - with the caption “Truly the angels’ best.”
50. Looks at you when you’re tired, your hair’s a mess, you’ve got spit-up down your shirt, and you haven’t put makeup on in over a week and says, “You’re the best mum ever. Thank you for agreein’ to have a baby with me. Wouldn’t want anyone else in the world.”

A Monthly Update On All Things Smashing
About The Author
Juggling between three languages on a daily basis, Iris is known for her love of linguistics, arts, web design and typography, as well as her goldmine of … More about Iris …
Every month, we present an overview of things the Smashing team has been working on — all in one place. The past few weeks have been quite challenging: COVID-19 crisis, #BlackLivesMatter, and so many other ongoing issues taking place all over the world. Here’s what’s been happening on our end in the meantime.
The entire Smashing team has been doing its very best to bring you live sessions with real experts — people with practical experience who love to share what they have learned throughout their careers. We organized Smashing Meets on three days — events that were open to everyone in the web community. With sessions on performance, CSS, GraphQL, and creative courage, we made sure to leave plenty of time for Q&A, networking, competitions and prizes.
We’re overwhelmed with the feedback we’ve received since then; many of you seemed to mostly enjoy spending time with speakers, and asking questions directly. A huge thank you again to everyone who joined in — it was such an incredible experience to have shared with you all!

Modern CSS Solutions For Old CSS Problems
We all know that CSS can sometimes be tricky to master. Just think of the classic question of how to center a div. In “Modern CSS Solutions for Old CSS Problems”, Stephanie Eckles explores solutions to those big and small CSS problems she has been solving in the last 13 years of being a front-end developer.
Apart from the old centering issue, the series explores challenges like creating elements of equal height, making dropdown menus accessible, styling buttons, and much more. Be sure to check back regularly as Stephanie keeps adding new topics. Brilliant!
Illustrations For Everyone
Illustrations are a great way to add a personal touch to a design. However, not everyone is a born illustrator and not every project has the budget to hire someone who masters the craft. During the lockdown, Pablo Stanley and a few of his friends decided to change that and created a tool that makes art more accessible and gives everyone the ability to use illustrations in their creations. Meet Blush.
Blush is a collection of 13 mix-and-match illustration libraries created by artists from around the world. Whether it’s characters, cityscapes, plants, food, or a piece of abstract art, you can pick your favorite illustration from one of the packs and customize every little detail until you have the combination you need to tell your story. As Pablo puts it, it’s “like playing legos made of vectors”. The illustrations can be downloaded for free as high-quality PNGs. If you are an illustrator yourself and would like to make your work available to other makers, too, you can apply to get featured in Blush. A fantastic example of sharing and caring.
Learn Flexbox With Code Tidbits
You’ve always wanted to learn Flexbox but the whole undertaking seemed a bit, well, daunting? It doesn’t have to be. In fact, it might only take 30 code tidbits to get you on the path to mastering some Flexbox magic. Samantha Ming has got your back.
In her free course Flexbox30, Samantha takes you through 30 short and crisp Flexbox lessons. After learning the core concepts of Flexbox, you will explore the ins and outs of parent and child properties. Each lesson comes with a cheat sheet that you can download which makes the course also a great refresher if you already know your way around Flexbox but struggle with some of the properties.
Global Website Speed Profiler
Performance benchmarking tools usually measure performance form a single location. But how does your site perform for real-world users who aren’t based in that one location? To get more precise results for their own market, the folks behind the WordPress security plugin Wordfence built Fast or Slow, a tool that measures real-world performance from different locations around the world.
Fast or Slow gets its data from a network of 13 servers in 13 cities around the world. Each server was calibrated to have the same performance so that the speed measurements give a true indication of what the site feels like to a real user. The performance test provides you with an overall score of a site’s performance and breaks the results further down by geographic location, while audits on CSS minification, image optimization, caching, and more help reveal specific performance bottlenecks. Fast Or Slow is free to use.
Sleek Browser Frames For Your Screenshots
With screenshots, there are usually two options: You take a screenshot of the entire browser window with browser extensions and maybe even bookmarks visible or, if you want something less distracting, you decide to only take a screenshot of the site without any border at all. If you’re looking for a more sophisticated solution, Browserframe might be for you.
Just drag and drop your screenshot into the tool, and it wraps it into a neat browser frame. There are multiple browsers, operating systems, and themes to choose from, and you can adjust the background color, shadow, padding, and some other details before you download the image. Perfect for blog posts, social media, slides, or wherever else you might want to use a screenshot.
SVG Path Data Syntax Explored
Do you know what the SVG path data syntax actually means? If not, you’re not alone. Mathieu Dutour has been working with SVGs for quite some time but always struggled to understand the path data structure. That’s why he built a visualizer for it.
The SVG Path Visualizer visualizes the SVG path data you enter and lets you discover all its different commands. There are also several examples you can explore to get more familiar with the syntax. An insightful look into the skeleton of an SVG.
The Future Is Here
Imagine you are working on a project and want to add a picture of a book to it. You have the book right beside you on your desk, so you take out your phone, take a picture of the book, send the picture to your computer, open it in Photoshop, remove the background, and, finally, include the picture in your file. Well, now what if you could copy and paste the book from reality onto your screen, just where you want it to be? What might sound like science fiction, is already possible today.
The research prototype AR Copy Paste allows you to copy elements from your surroundings and paste them into an image editing software. Three independent modules make it happen: a mobile app, a local server that acts as the interface between the app and Photoshop and finds the correct position on your screen, and, last but not least, an objection detection/background removal service to cut the image into shape. An impressive peek at the future of AR.
Black Illustrations
Black people and people of color are often underrepresented in illustrations and visuals. To spark change in the digital landscape, the team at 5four created Black Illustrations, illustration packs that paint a more diverse picture and show black people and people of color in a myriad of tasks.
There are six illustration packs that can be used on websites, pitch decks, infographics, or anywhere you like. Two of the decks are free to download: “The Office Hustle” shows people in an office environment, working from home, and having conversations, as well as in a healthcare setting, while “The Movement Pack” calls attention to #BlackLivesMatter and the fight against racial inequality. Other packs include education- and lifestyle-themed images. Beautiful designs with a powerful message.
See Easing Curves In Action
Movement in the real world is something fluid, no harsh or instant starts or stops, no constant speed. Easing curves help us bring that natural feel to motion on the web. However, in practice, they can be quite abstract to grasp, too.
With Easings, Paul Macgregor built a useful tool to visualize the effect common easing curves have on a range of interfaces — from a gallery carousel to a side menu, scroll jack, and modal. Just choose an easing curve from the collection to see it in action or enter a custom one. One for the bookmarks.
Insights Into How Developers Work Today
Since almost a decade, the yearly Developer Survey conducted by Stack Overflow is the largest survey of people who code. This year, they made it more representative of the diversity of programmers, asking 65,000 developers from around the world how they learn, which tools they use, and what they want. The survey was conducted in February and the results offer a comprehensive look inside the community.
The survey covers the developers’ professional and demographical background, looks at tools and their popularity, what the respondents’ dev environments look like and how they learn and solve problems, just like at their career values, job priorities, and working conditions. Interesting insights guaranteed.
CSS Art In A Single Div
What can you do in a single div? Lynn Fisher has a lot of creative answers to this question, as her CSS drawing project A Single Div shows.
Every drawing is made up of CSS living inside a single div element and uses a combination of Pug for templating and Stylus for CSS preprocessing. From lettering and geometrical patterns to random objects and little characters, each colorful tile is a wonderful example of what can be accomplished with CSS.
A Magic Notebook For Exploring Data
Open source has transformed software development, making sharing, collaboration, and transparency the norm. Inspired by this, Observable aims at reimagining data science for a connected world. To make it more approachable, accessible, and social.
Described as a “magic notebook for exploring data and thinking with code”, Observable lets you sketch with live data. You can prototype visualizations, connect to Web APIs, and see your “notebook” update instantly when changes are made. Learning from one another, sharing and reusing components with a community of fellow authors is a key part of the concept, teams are even able to edit a notebook together in realtime. Now what to make with it? Reports, explanatory visualizations, UI prototypes, documentation, art projects, visual designs — only your imagination is the limit.
