How is it that the anime found a way to imply that Zoro is deeper in the asexual spectrum than Luffy.
Luffy getting a nosebleed from watching Nami's naked boobs meanwhile Zoro was sitting in his bath completely uninterested. Freaking Igaram and King Cobra were there getting a nosebleed. Chopper was there.
Of course one could argue that the nosebleed is just comedy relief meant to transmit that Nami is irresistible. Also, Zoro is truly uninterested in that sort of behavior, being that he doesn't see women as anything but equals and considering the fact that he is all about honor.
And yet? Yeah yeah it is super gay to make Zoro have little to no sexual reaction to women, while he's all the time panicking over being physically close to Sanji.
Demisexual behaviour to me, either way.

i'm still so stuck in the implications of the Captain being ONLY a Captain at his age
like Captain is the second lowest officer rank, it does not take long to reach and he got through the WHOLE WAR without being promoted which is a feat unto itself
the two options for how he got to Captain in the first place are he worked his way up to it through the ranks or (more likely (based on his flashbacks and level of education)) he entered the military as an officer which would imply that for whatever reason he didn't fight in the first war and that, for the entirety of his military career he just... never got promoted

April 1st is the birthday of American librarian and storyteller Augusta Braxton Baker (1911-1998). Born to two schoolteachers in Baltimore, Baker was a voracious student who read at a young age and careened through elementary and high school. With advocacy support from Eleanor Roosevelt, Baker was admitted to the Albany Teacher’s College and in 1934 earned a B. A. in Education and a B. S. in Library Science making her the first African American to earn a librarianship degree from the college.
In 1939, Baker went on to work as the children’s librarian at New York Public Library’s Harlem branch, founding the James Weldon Johnson Memorial Collection of Children’s Books to showcase representation of Black children and life in books, and beginning a lifelong career with children’s literature and the New York Public Library (NYPL). In 1953, she was appointed Storytelling Specialist and Assistant Coordinator of Children’s Services, quickly moving into the Coordinator of Children’s Services position years later and becoming the first African American to hold an administrative position with NYPL. Throughout her career, Baker was active with the American Library Association, and chaired committees for the Newbery Medal and Caldecott Medal recognizing excellence in children’s literature.
In celebration of Baker’s birthday, we’re sharing The Golden Lynx and Other Tales, a collection of international folk tales compiled by Baker and illustrated by Austrian artist Johannes Troyer (1902-1969). This is the first edition of the book published in 1960 by J. B. Lippincott and is signed by Baker, who writes in the introduction, “No story has been included in this collection that has not stood the supreme test of the children’s interest and approval”.

Trying to organise my thoughts on where each lifestealer stands before tomorrows session. Here's a non-comprehensive & non-comprehensible chart
Like. There's sorta 3 sides. Team Wemmbu which is just Wemmbu. The Players which is now just Mapicc and Ro, maybe they can get clown or leo to log on and help them in combat, but like. idk if thats really going to happen, ya know. Then theres just. Uh. team PB&J, i hope they find a real team name soon, but i was hoping the players would do that to, and they have not. At least its not the New League, or something as dumb as that. But the name situation is not great. Remember last season when we had cool team names, wasn't that nice?
Anyways, I'm really intrested to see where Ash and Squiddo end up. Ash wants to protect them, and she stated that she 'just wants to be evil' and wants to be on Team Wemmbu. They want to be friends, but they are on opposite sides of this conflict. By supporting Wemmbu Squiddo is goign against everything Ash stands for. Whats goign to happen here? idk, but im excited.
what was the point of this post? Idk. Anyways, I hope jumper or Pentar die tommorow. I hope Minute looses more people. I want him to suffer <3

Mayor Wagner feted Harlem's own Althea Gibson after she won the U.S. Open's Women's Singles title in Forest Hills, September 8, 1957. She had already won at Wimbledon, and was the first Black player to win a major championship (let alone two).
