Skeleton is going on a trip with his S/O for two weeks and so lets his child to his brother for a while. How does it go?

Undertale Sans - Pretty good. Sans is already pretty close from his nephew/niece, he's actually happy he gets to have some alone time with them for two weeks. Sans is just happy to not be alone in his house actually. He's taking the kid to the beach and the mall, and even to Disneyland. He's buying them new toys and ice creams. He still can't cook a proper dinner though, to the point they're dining at Toriel's place almost every night lol. He's actually a little sad when Papyrus comes to pick them up. It was fun.

Undertale Papyrus - He's very happy to have his niece/nephew! Well, it's obvious to him now that the kid picks up after their dad, sleeping in the morning and everything, but that won't stop Papyrus to take them running in the morning (on his back, most of the time), and have fun with Undyne and Alphys a few days a week, hiking or to have lunch in the park. Papyrus plays the cool uncle, he wants Sans to be so impressed.

Underswap Sans - Lord have mercy. Blue took the kid only because Asgore was not here either. Even if he loves his nephew/niece, he was really fine just seeing them once a week or something. This is a bit too much for him. Funnily enough, Honey's kid is his mirror: super energetic and impossible to convince to just lie down for five minutes. Blue is having anxiety as they keep running on the road without a warning or playing with sharp knives in the kitchen. He needs a break. Someone saves him. He keeps repeating himself it's only for two weeks and counts the days, grinding his teeth.

Underswap Papyrus - The kid is actually already closer from his uncle than his father, which is a little sad, but that's how it is. It doesn't change anything for Honey, who considers them like his own kid already. They're always hanging out together, it's just extra time together.

Underfell Sans - The kid is happy his dad is not there and tends to get a little too much at home for Red's taste lol. They're a little monster, pranking him, running away in the crowds, randomly jumpscaring their uncle behind the corners just to see him screech in terror... Red wants the two weeks to end lol. He loves his nephew/niece but they're too much to handle for one skeleton and he certainly doesn't have Edge's natural authority to lecture them efficiently. They know he won't say anything and so just keep tormenting him for the rest of the week :')

Underfell Papyrus - He can't believe how much swear they know and he's so mad at this. Other than that, he's a pretty chill uncle as long as the kids behave. They know better anyway. Uncle Edge is less merciful than his brother and more strict naturally. The kids are little angels for two weeks. Red is shocked none of them were bad actually. That's witchcraft.

Horrortale Sans - He's using the kid as emotional support lol. He feels betrayed and abandoned by Willow and he's not living it well. Willow dropped him at Grillby's place for the two weeks with his nephew/niece. Oak is pouting the entire first week, and the second, he's acting like his brother doesn't exist lol. He's warming up to the kid though and they spend some time together, even if it's hard because Oak can't really help with their basic needs. When Willow is coming to fetch them, Oak still pretends he's not there and refuses to move. He's mad.

Horrortale Papyrus - He's more nervous about Oak being all alone in the wild with his human than about the kids. He loves the kids, and he's already taking care of them every day anyway. Nothing really change, except he's a nervous wreck through all the two weeks.

Swapfell Sans - Pranks. Pranks and mess everywhere. Rus kids are the worse. They're like Rus, but somehow with even more energy. Nox is screeching all day long after them but they're immuned to his big eyes and his big voice. He has no authority whatsoever on them. Nox is resigned after the first week. He knows his house is a battlefield, but at least he still has coffee. Until that tragic day when his precious baby served him blue paint coffee and he lost his mind, screaming and rolling on the floor. He's going to tell Rus what he thinks of his education techniques lol.

Swapfell Papyrus - He's terrified. His niece tied him to a small chair so tight he can't actually move and she's forcing him to drink muddy water as she wants to have a tea party with him. This is torture. That kid is not normal. Rus is traumatised, the kid keeps imagination the weirdest game possible, straight up torturing him or drawing on his face for fun. Someone comes to his rescue please... He needs help.

Fellswap Gold Sans - Wine didn't sleep the entire two weeks as he was terrified something bad could happen to the child. He's guarding them with his life, refusing them to spend even two minutes on their own lol. He's not used to having children around, he's stressed as hell but he doesn't want to disappoint his brother. He's a terrible uncle, he has no idea what he is doing and that's the first time he shows vulnerability lol. Please, Coffee, come home early. He's going to die.

Fellswap Gold Papyrus - Welp, Wine doesn't have children so he takes care of himself and that's already a lot, trust me. I mean, he's not sure how he's going to explain Wine why there is no kitchen any more. He might have put foil into the microwave and it exploded...

Disney Television Animation X Walt Disney Imagineering Collaboration "San Fransokyo Square" Sets Opening Date, Confirms Big Hero 6 The Series Easter Eggs

After being promised at the recent D23 Expo, we are now getting an update from Walt Disney Imagineering, revealing that San Fransokyo Square is arriving at Disney California Adventure, August 31, 2023 as part of the 100 Years of Wonder at the Disneyland Resort.

The area will have some elements debuting in the month and a half as a lead-up.

During a PR Preview provided by Laughing Place, it was confirmed that the area will be featured with easter eggs from the various iterations of the Big Hero 6 story, including the Disney Television Animation's Big Hero 6 : The Series and Walt Disney Animation Studios Baymax! provided by both studios.

Starting in mid-July, you’ll be able to sample new San Fransokyo selections at Lucky Fortune Cookery, and the Port of San Fransokyo Cervecería will officially open. In the weeks following, additional dining options, unique shopping and more will be introduced as the transformation of this thriving seaside plaza continues through its official debut on August 31st.

When the transformation is completed, locations across the area – from the Cappuccino Cart outside the San Fransokyo Gate Bridge to The Bakery Tour – will be decked out in street art and colorful banners celebrating the Big Hero 6 team after their victory over Yokai.

The diverse array of flavorful fare in San Fransokyo Square will include current favorites and new creations inspired by Asian cuisine, as well as the Big Hero 6 themselves. Aunt Cass Café, the second bakery café operated by Hiro’s loving aunt, will serve dishes, soups in freshly-baked Boudin sourdough bread bowls and more inspired by Japanese cuisine. On the outside of this quick service restaurant, you’ll find a mural of Aunt Cass’ lucky pet cat, Mochi.

An old fishing net tannery across from the café is being converted to Rita’s Turbine Blenders, a giant drink dispenser offering delicious margaritas and icy beverages. This refreshment stand is owned and named after the repair technician who maintains the floating wind turbine, resembling a giant koi fish, that sits atop the structure.

Guests will also be able to meet with Baymax, who will talk for the very first time!

Idea Time

Just me rambling / half writing about a modern avatar au

Tags: Kidnapping, mentioned child murder (no kids actually die though you'll see what I mean), mentioned actual murder, domesticity??? The Sully Family rock idk

BASICALLY what if Spider went missing as a child and Quaritch went to jail for it AND THEN SPIDER TURNED BACK UP AGAIN YEARS LATER??? Maybe I'll actually write this for real maybe I won't. Just felt like jotting it down is all.

The Sully Family is having a typical day on the weekend. Things are normal, the weather is nice, everyone is off work and school on Saturday. Neytiri and Neteyam are in the kitchen doing dishes after family breakfast. Tuk is in the living room watching morning cartoons, and Jake is pretending not to be as invested in them as he really is.

Kiri is also in the living room on her nintendo switch playing Stardew Valley. She's got earplugs in to block out the sound of Tuk's chattering and the cartoons on the tv screen. Lo'ak is at the dining table on his phone, repeatedly typing out and deleting a text message to his classmate Tsireya.

Hey?

Jake's phone rings and he excuses himself into the hall to answer it. Everyone barely pays attention to the phone call as Jake answers it. Why would they? It's a typical day.

Less than 5 minutes later Jake reenters the living room and calls for everyone to "fall in." His voice is strained, something in it grabbing even Lo'ak's attention immediately.

They all stop what they're doing and crowd into the living room. Neytiri wipes her hands dry on a towel and slings it over her shoulder as she stands in the entryway, Neteyam sits next to Kiri as she pauses her game. He mutes the television and pulls Tuk off the floor and into his lap. Lo'ak sits carefully in the recliner, looking at his dad's face which has paled significantly.

Jake is gripping the armrests of his wheelchair tightly. The phone call must have been bad news. Maybe another military buddy died? Maybe the school called to tell him about Lo'ak's frequent tardiness which is totally not his fault by the way—

What Jake says next sends the world dropping out from underneath everyone's feet.

"They found Spider. He's alive."

Spider. As in Spider Socorro? None of them have heard that name in....well in probably a decade, when the boy first disappeared. An image of the smiling six year old boy from across the street flutters up from the recesses of Lo'ak's mind.

Spider had been presumed dead for years. His dad, Miles Quaritch, has been in prison for the past decade for killing his wife and son one night. The Sully Family were at Disneyland at the time, and while he hides it well, Jake still blames himself a little for not being there. If he had been, maybe he'd have heard something. Maybe he'd have been able to intervene, or see where Quaritch ran off to with the boy.

Quaritch has held onto his innocence every day since. All the way through the trial he insisted that he didn't kill his wife, someone broke in and knocked him out. Yes it was his gun, yes it was his prints, yes it was Paz's blood on his hands when the police showed up after a neighbor called 9-1-1. But if you had woken up to your wife bleeding out right next to you and your son gone, wouldn't you try to put pressure on the wound, too?

Even when Paz's mother begged during the trial for Quaritch to tell them all what he did to her grandson, where he buried the poor boy's body, he wouldn’t budge.

"If I knew where he was I would be the first one at the scene. I didn’t kill him."

But there were no other leads. No other suspects. Quaritch had no alibi or evidence to support his claims.

Lo'ak had been much too small to understand what really happened. He went to Paz and Spider's funeral but barely remembers it, at the time he just knew that his friend across the street wasn't going to be around anymore. Not until he got to middle school and did some research himself did he actually get the situation in its entirety.

And now, everything is changing. They found Spider, somewhere, somehow. Quaritch might very well have been an innocent man this whole time. Jake hasn't gone into detail just yet.

Neteyam asks, "What happened?"

Jake sighs heavily, runs a hand over his head. "That was Norm on the phone."

Norm, their old family friend who works in the police station as a CSI. He was one of the people that analyzed the evidence at the crime scene, he helped put Quaritch away.

"He says that an officer was doing his rounds last night and saw a kid walking aimlessly down the road. When he stopped him, the kid identified himself as Miles Socorro."

"Could he be lying, though?" Lo'ak wonders aloud.

Jake shakes his head. "The fingerprints match from the school database."

Lo'ak remembers vaguely the school-wide event years ago when all the students got their fingerprints taken. He still has the ID card he got from it, buried somewhere in his memories box underneath his bed. The event was for the Child Seeker's Program, developed to protect kids in the district in case they ever went missing.

So much help it had been for Spider.

But here he was, a decade later, showing up with the police. There’s got to be more to the story that dad isn't telling them, or maybe Jake doesn't yet know the details himself. What started off as a normal Saturday has been flipped onto its head.

That leaves them all to ponder the same question. What happens now?

This was your one year anniversary since meeting at the Met gala ball, so you decided to risk it and go on a real date out in town.

No one the restaurant seemed to even notice it was you and Austin dining with them, but someone must of recognized you, because the paparazzi showed up

Of course you were clueless to being photographed and took a chance in having a make out session in the dark alleyway

Both of you had a bit to much to drink so it flew right over your heads to think that might not be the wisest thing to do

The next morning you woke up with a headache and a bunch of calls from your entire team, the pictures had gone viral and were now trending.

The article titles were as harsh as they come: “30 year old dates a literal child” “Butler left his 9 years younger model girlfriend to aim even younger.” “We call it, Butler the new DiCaprio, dating girls 20 and under at the age of 30”

Some were also nice, but they didn’t make you feel any better: “It’s official the cute couple made their first appearance” “Stumble down alleys… share a kiss - Butler and Y/n are official”

You spend the first hour of it being out in the world on your own, Austin still asleep in your bed.

When he wakes up he finds you on the couch, cuddled with your cats, eyes bloodshot red from crying

“What’s wrong? What happened?” He asks rushing to your side and taking your face in his hands to look at you.

You show him all the news outlets you’ve been reading and after a quick glance he throws your phone on the couch, hugging you to his chest.

“I’m sorry honey, I should have been more careful.”

“We should have” you correct, breathing sharply

“Are you mad about it?” He asks and you shake your head

“No, baby. Actually I think I’m ok with it?” You say unsure

“Well look on the bright side, now I can take you to Disneyland like I promised so long ago.”

“Today?” You ask eyes bright with joy

Austin smiles at you, kissing the top of your head “I mean maybe tomorrow, so let’s book the flight!” He laughs, getting up to go get his laptop so you can plan the trip out.

The Walt Disney World Agreement is one of Equity’s largest contracts, covering actors, singers, dancers, comedians and stunt performers in shows around the Florida resort. In fact, almost every employee at every Disney park in the United States is unionized. The biggest exception is the Character and Parade performers at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, CA who have never been protected by a union contract.

We’re aiming to change that.

I’m so excited to share the news that the character and parade performers at Disneyland have decided to unionize with Equity as Magic United! Magic United includes around 1,700 Cast Members who perform as costumed characters, both structured and face/look-alikes, and dance and cheer in parades, as well as the whole system of workers who train, facilitate, accompany and stage manage this work across the entire Disneyland Resort – two theme parks along with the lodging, shopping, dining and entertainment areas connected to the parks.

Last week, members of Magic United began signing their union authorization cards to name Actors’ Equity Association as their union.

These Disneyland Cast Members started to organize themselves, and they reached out to Equity last year to see if we would be a good fit for them. Equity has a strong bargaining relationship with Disney, and Equity members who work at Walt Disney World have been supportive of their California colleagues as these efforts got underway. The Magic United team agreed that together, we could make this process positive and collaborative when it’s time to bargain that first contract.

So what’s next? Once we have more than a majority of cards signed, we will ask Disney for voluntary recognition and file with the National Labor Relations Board. We’re determined to get to the table as soon as we can to ensure that Disneyland Characters and Parade Cast Members get the workplace protections they deserve.

Eight years ago, I shared that while digging through my grandmother’s dirty old shed that was messy, musty, and largely left open to the elements, I found an original front page of the late edition of The Sacramento Bee from November 22, 1963 featuring the news that President Kennedy had been assassinated. I think that would be an awesome discovery for anybody, but it was especially exciting for me as a lifelong Presidential history fanatic. After finding that newspaper, I did a little more digging around in the shed at the time, but didn’t find anything else.

However, I didn’t get to all of the boxes and containers in the shed at that time. There were some even dirtier containers buried deep underneath boxes and furniture and an unsteady amount of crap that was liable to kill me if I disturbed it. And if I wasn’t killed in an avalanche of gross boxes or suffocated by clouds of dust, I was almost certain to be killed by some sort of dangerous spider or dinosaur that was somehow surviving underneath that mess. My grandmother also insisted that the JFK newspaper was a lucky find and that there wouldn’t have been anything else like it anywhere else in her shed.

After eight years and some cleaning and organizing, I was in that old shed today and pulled out a filthy plastic container from underneath some boxes and a set of dining room furniture that seemed like it belonged in the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland. I was looking for some old picture frames for my mom that she thought might be in the dirty plastic container, but she was wrong. There were not any picture frames in the dirty plastic container.

“Louis! You're going to crash by noon today.” Liam falls back down on the bed.

“I won't! The spirit of Walt Disney will keep me awake!”

She was still speaking, but Harry couldn’t hear her anymore over the blood rushing in his ears as she turned the mirror and made him look at himself.

He looked… He was… He felt like a woman. Where just under an hour ago, he’d seen a boy, barely a young man, shaving off the bits of his beard that had started to grow in so late, he now saw a woman. She was as real as he had ever seen. His posture, unsure and shy, morphed into hers, shoulders straight and hip cocked as she tried her best to balance herself on the high heels she’d inherited.

“I have seen some of the roster, you have some great guys so far. I have coached a couple over the years,” Niall spoke.

Liam puckered his lips for a kiss, knowing she was referring to him, but she rolled her eyes and pushed his face away.

This one immediately sparked inspiration, so it’s first 🥰

In retrospect, Eddie probably should’ve realized there was something going on.

But, to be fair, while he loves them deeply, Buck and Christopher can be little weirdos when they want to be, especially when they’ve got some kind of scheme cooking.

So he sees the furtive glances they keep exchanging, and he doesn’t think much of it. Christopher’s been dropping heavy handed hints about a summer trip to Disneyland for the last couple of months, and Buck’s been on the verge of caving like a chump from the very first time it was mentioned, so he assumes it’s about that.

Buck insists on cooking dinner alone, and that still doesn’t really ring any alarm bells. Sure, they’ve cooked dinner together most nights since Buck moved in a year ago, but once in a while Buck will find some new recipe he wants to try, and he likes to run through those alone the first time because it helps with the process, Eddie, geez, so it’s not entirely out of left field.

But there’s something familiar about the delicious scent wafting from the kitchen that Eddie can’t quite place. It’s a rich scent, definitely something Italian, and it makes his mouth water, but his mind just won’t fill in the blank. So he gets up to go investigate and maybe volunteer as taste tester, but Christopher is stationed as a guard at the dining room table with his homework, and holds up a hand in warning.

“You can’t go in there.”

Eddie crosses his arms. “And why not?”

“Because dinner is meant to be a surprise,” Christopher explains, like it’s obvious.

Eddie raises his eyebrows. “Is he trying something weird? Smells good.”

Christopher grins. “You’ll just have to see.”

Eddie narrows his eyes at his son, but it’s clear he’ll be getting no further answers from the twelve year old, so he retreats to the living room where he suffers through the delicious, mysterious scent for another half hour until the kitchen door opens and Buck appears, balancing a stack of plates and a basket of bread.

“Can I help?” Eddie asks, hopping up off the couch and stealing the stack of plates before Buck can answer.

“You can set the table,” Buck allows, leaning in to steal a quick kiss that turns into a lingering one.

“Still in the room, and very hungry,” Christopher complains as he clears his homework, and they break apart with a laugh.

Eddie sets the table as Buck goes back and forth, bringing out wine and water glasses, a bowl of salad, and finally, to Eddie’s surprise, a serving dish of baked spaghetti.

Not that he’s not pleased, but with all the secrecy he’d really thought Buck had something wild and new planned, not something they’ve had before, even made together, a few times, so he’s a little confused.

But as Buck pours the wine, it clicks.

“You made us baked spaghetti the first night you officially lived here,” Eddie says, and Buck, inexplicably, looks caught, and then even more inexplicably, looks at Christopher.

“Ah, I didn’t think you’d remember that,” Buck says, looking back at him.

“Of course I remember. You finally moving in with us was one of the best days of my life,” Eddie replies easily, because it’s true. Buck’s cheeks blush a pretty pink, and he grins, and glances at Christopher again.

“Well, I was going to do this after we ate, but I don’t think I can wait any longer,” and then, to Eddie’s total shock, he reaches into his pocket and withdraws a small velvet box.

“Buck,” he exhales, his eyes pinging from Buck’s face to the box and back.

“Eddie. You have no idea how long I’ve been wanting to do this. I—I thought about taking you to a fancy restaurant, or sunset on the beach, or even doing it at Disneyland—”

“Which I haven’t agreed to go to,” Eddie can’t help but say, and Buck huffs a laugh.

“True. That wouldn’t have been us, anyway. This is. You, me, and Chris,” Buck says, and he and Eddie both look over at Christopher, who is watching with a giant grin on his face. “The three of us, here, together. That’s what I want. I want forever with you, Eddie. Both of you. So please, will you marry me?”

Eddie leans across the table and kisses Buck, just a quick press of lips before he’s up and sprinting to his bedroom. Faintly, behind him he hears Buck ask Christopher, sounding bewildered, “Do you think that was a yes?” He yanks open his bedside drawer and shoves junk aside, pulling out a second little velvet box and jogging back to the dining room with it.

“So,” he says, placing the box on the table next to Buck’s. “I wasn’t expecting you to beat me to it.”

There’s a beat of silence, and then Christopher, ever Eddie’s son, leans towards Buck and says, “Yeah, pretty sure that’s a yes.”

“It’s definitely a yes,” Eddie confirms, and there’s a flurry, both of them opening their boxes and putting the rings on each other with shaky hands, pulling each other into a hug and then rounding the table to pull Christopher in with them, ignoring his half-hearted complaints.

“I love you,” Buck murmurs, kissing him again.

“I love you too,” Eddie says, kissing back.

“And I love you both, but I’m still really hungry,” Christopher says from where he’s still smushed between them.

Eddie laughs and pulls back, his cheeks hurting from how hard he’s smiling. “Ok, alright, Buck didn’t work that hard for us to eat cold spaghetti,” he says, and they mostly untangle themselves and sit down to eat dinner. Mostly, because Buck and Eddie don’t let go of each other’s hands for the entire meal.
