Happy new year 2595, everyone - Team Ratatösk is giving their LARP debut in the end of January, and three or four Hellvetics are going. That means it’s crafting time!

Lore dictates that every Hellvetic has a Trailblazer. I, Jünger, did not really need one when I was playing the auxiliary soldier Staub (†), and I did not know if her successor would be enough fun to get one. Turns out, playing Jünger is a lot of fun; so I got me a NERF Rapidstrike and gave it a case mod. It doesn’t need to fire in game, but it will need sound, which is the project I was waiting for to get into electronics. So Jünger will be fumbling forward off-game and keep you posted eventually.

Moreover, the padded parts of the Hellvetic costume need to be “refreshed”, since thin coats of acrylic color don’t survive being mashine washed. This time, I’m using fabric paint to add a bit of depth and grunge. Let’s see how it fares...

My favorite part of running Royal Archivist is definitely reading the tags people put in their reblogs. I really love seeing people react to goofy bits or wild lore, it's just fun seeing people crack jokes or roast their streamer or have the same reaction I did while watching stream.

This blog (and the VOD Timestamp Archive) take up a lot of time and energy I don't really have, but seeing everyone's tags and seeing the kind messages I get every once in a while thanking me for my work make me so :'))))) I know MCYT fandoms tend to have a bad rap, but everyone who interacts with Royal Archivist has genuinely so kind and funny (with one or two exceptions) and it's really nice to see. I love seeing the love people have for QSMP.

My favorite thing is that Phil, like back when Tubbo first joined MCC, had told chat that basically the admins of that server had to plead with Tubbo and make him swear he won’t break the server… And look what happened to QSMP when the different admins didn’t make that same precaution lmao

Okay this one's a bit more story than silly, me and @/piconoodle have discussions about story implications a lot about normal ultrakill, and that also follows us into modded multiplayer ultrakill. So have a comic (and some lore under the read more)

Lore and design choices under the cut

So the story behind this is the idea that, Hell really really hates Pico (the smaller v3 model nicknamed v3^2) because she is way too good at the game, hell thinks this v3 is cheating and that the game isn't fun anymore, so it sets about stopping them, leading them back through most of hell, where they get trapped in limbo very injured, because hell will no longer allow them through doors or into the elevators, and v3^2 starves until it goes into shut down.

V3 prime approaches hell in search of blood and upon entering limbo finds v3^2 missing an arm and offline, they take them along because v3's are co-operative at their core. They try refueling v3^2 with no luck, because they are still losing blood from their damaged parts faster than v3 prime can refuel them.

V3 prime finds (or makes) a very strange new arm for v3^2 and finishes making repairs, then starts manually refueling them with the open ports in their palms. This time it actually works, v3^2 comes back online with blue wings (v3^2 most likely went into hell with a whole squad originally, probably a whole blue team, for context in the mod you can change your wing colors to represent what team your on, and this also can enable PVP if your on 2 separate teams, or make you immune to one anothers dmg if your on the same team)

V3^2 is surprised to be online again, and also surprised by the other v3 model not from their team, reacts understandably with some level of violence, although as they put the pieces together the hostility fades, such as their new arm, repaired parts, the blood on their hands and back coming from the other machines.

V3^2 changes to v3 primes red team, and the 2 bots have been together since then, v3 prime is cringe fail where as v3^2 is haunted by the timeline as a whole and also the strange powers their new arm throws at them, hell can no longer stop either of them.

Adventure Force Enforcer work in progress:

Current stats: ~165 fps, 350 rounds per minute, 2 x 80 dart belts.

I always wanted to mod one of these but I've had several failed attempts. The stock gear box is jus too flimsy and breaks easily when upping the speed and voltage; so I designed a 3d printed mount to hold a much stronger motor and gearbox. The one I chose is probably overkill in terms of torque but it's not like I could just pop in an N90 or one of those smaller hobby gearboxes that Out Of Darts sells, it still needs to be able to pull a belt. Unfortunately the gearbox I got is a little slow on the fire rate, the tag said 400 rpm but it's only getting about 350. I did find a gear box of the same dimensions and style that advertises 470 rpm so I've got that on the way and it should be able to just screw into the same mount. The daybreak wheels in the internal pictures ended up being a bit too tough on the darts than I would prefer as the belt drive doesn't quite align the darts perfectly canter like a magazine would, so many darts would feed closer to the side and get pretty chewed up. So I replaced the wheels with Containment Crew Cyclone wheels, and due to there low concavity it doesn't matter as much if a dart is fed in slightly to the side. I also made a clip that can screw into and clamp down on a cereal box to act as a box magazine for the 80 round belt though the boxes are large enough it could probably hold 100. I took it to the TANG war last Sunday and it managed to do some work during one of the carpe games but during the second round I had loaded it with brand new just opened the box darts and the belt was a bit too tight on the fresh darts and caused several feeding issues.
