One of my biggest pieces of advice for those taking injectable hormones is to make sure you're injecting at the right angle
For intramuscular (IM), you inject at a 90° angle.
For subcutaneous (SQ), you inject at a 45° angle.
Here is a graphic depicting what the angle of your injection should look like:

[ID: Digital drawings of Needles from The Magnus Protocol on a gray background. He is a thin, shadowy figure in a brown raincoat with the hood up and dark gray pants and gray shoes and black fingerless gloves. His only visible facial features are his large eyes and mouth, and needles make up his eyebrows and poke out of his chin like a goatee. He also has needles coming out of his fingertips. The first drawing is a bust showing him smiling at the viewer, and the second is a full body drawing of him posed as though walking with his hands near his sides making clawing gestures. He is smiling at the viewer with extra needles poking out from between his teeth. end ID]

a hesitant needles design!! keeping my design pretty vague and ambiguous for now, waiting until we get more description cuz i feel like we're def going to soon enough. I imagine the needles are usually under the skin and then poke out as needed (i just drew them as brows and beard to get the Needles Thing across) (no i did NOT mean to give him a goatee it just happened)

"What do you see when you look at me?"
Scooching in here at the last minute due to some tech difficulties, but Secret Solenoid gift (@secretsolenoid-revived) for @swervesbar! You had SO many excellent props, it was extremely hard to choose. I ended up going with angsty/dark CDRW since you mentioned enjoying spooky things, gore, etc!
I've always been a bit obsessed with these two having been each others' widowers and if they ever see "their" partner in place of their alternates. Hopefully did that idea a little justice!

i know it's been days since the reanimator movie's anniversary but that's not gonna stop me. (i got way too ambitious with the pic that's why it took so long to finish)
Happy 38 years of Re-Animator ig
and it's the spooky season so yeh
DISCLAIMER: If you plan to watch Re-Animator, please check for the trigger warnings! There’s a disturbing scene near the end.

I loved your nonbinary transfem Adrien so much! Would you ever be interested in trans boy Adrien? I just love how Adrien can be trans in so many ways, soo yeah.
Oh absolutely, I honestly still have a hard time deciding which headcanon I like more. This kid just has so much gender within their weird magical cat girl tboy self. I also love genderfluid and agender Adrien.

Fibre arts are wild. One minute you're buying a 'make a magpie' needle-felting kit at midnight on a whim and using it to needle-felt a truly terrible mouse (who I adore tbh):
The next you own a spinning wheel, three looms, enough fibre to felt an army of mice and spin hundreds of kilometres of yarn, hundreds (thousands?) of kilometres of yarn, and you're buying:
It's the most basic, non-computerised model I could find, since I haven't used a sewing machine since grade 8 Home Ec, and I only bought it so I could sew up my inkle weaving projects, but then yesterday I made:
A pouch for my e-reader! Woven back, inkle woven straps, quilting cotton front and felt lining (plus super crooked seams).
All those warnings about the dangers of quicksand when they should have been warning us about the inexorable pull of fibre arts
(Bonus: my most recent needle-felted mouse:
