accidental headcanon of the night: byan just... chews on stuff. it definitely started at a young age as a coping mechanism for stress, and its still unconsciously used as such, but it's also developed into a more general fidgeting habit.

I miss that Bon Bons brand of shitty 50 cent/ $1 makeup and nail polish from Walmart

Like that was so great as a kid to be able to buy your own mini bottle of nail polish with glitter, and get bright blue eyeshadow or maybe body shimmer for like $1 while your mom shopped

Idk where I'm going with this but I miss those tiny bottles of nail polish and glitter spray 🥺

#they were on a wall in an aisle and there was clear containers on the wall for each item #idk i think kids should be able to buy shitty little 50 cent nail polish in a small little bottle #like sure elf brand is there but it's not specifically for kids it's not them sized #and yeah Claire's exists but that shit is expensive and some of it had like asbestos or something sggdgdgd #i remember buying the nail polish and shitty little body shimmer and wearing it to sunday school all proud bc i bought it myself shhdhdhdh #thought i was so grown up and pretty for wearing make up #i was like 7 sgsgdggs #marquilla

bought some more shit from the vintage market today and was showing my coworker at work and she said that I have good style and that “if we were roommates she’d totally be nabbing stuff from my closet to wear” so I am winning today

#she has good style so I appreciate that #I take pride in wearing things I think look cool so I’m always happy when people notice #between that and complements about my nails it’s most of my self confidence #the stuff I bought from the market was damn cool too #favourite from today was probably the vintage quarter zip with really cool asymmetrical colour blocking #overall I bought 10 items 💀 spent about $200 I think but honestly #that comes to $20 a piece which considering that I got mostly outerwear high quality vintage or statement pieces #is pretty good bc the prices at that market can get absurd #I did pass up a few things which I’m sad about #there was a really cute green tee that said Canada Dry on it that I was eyeing but it was $45 and that seller didn’t do any last day sales #and a pair of vintage levis with a stunning wash (in my size!!) that were $75 and I just couldn’t justify #oh well #I had some pretty good scores so you win some you lose some
