Kalina is the most interesting character to me because of all she has going on…

she is Cassandra’s familiar, she is simultaneously a pet and a friend and a servant and a family to a goddexx that is simultaneously her owner and friend and creator and parent and her god and reason to be—Kalina’s relationship to Cassandra is hard to put a name or label on (since what does being a familiar even mean?) but the bottomline is that this cat loves her deity enough to put everything and everyone on the line for her…

And adding in that she is a child of divorce. So to speak. I am extremely normal and haven’t been driven mad by the detail that baby itty bitty kitty Kalina was at Cassandra’s wedding to Ankarna and is remembered to have been toddling after her as she walked down the aisle…

I think bpd is a bullshit stigmatizing label thrown at women to pathologize what is very obviously a response to prolonged childhood trauma and would be better labeled as C-PTSD. that being said my god I am bpd as fuck

#my sister just snapped at me bc i said i dont want to do a ton of physical labor for the job she signed me up for which apparently does i #in fact involve a lot of it. and her being mad for even that moment sent me spiraling so badly & i had the reaction i often do where #i start hating both her & myself terribly & want to isolate forever #i think she hates her new job & is taking it out on me but it doesnt matter bc i cant handle being yelled at #and the fact thst it took me till adulthood to realize thats bc i associate it with my father is crazy. yeah its just the cptsd like #everything else. and whats nutso is how i continue to think my trauma Wasnt Bad Enough for ptsd .#just bc he didnt beat the shit out of or molest me i feel like i dont even have a right to be this fucked up #not that it was only him. being bullied at school really did not help. i guess now that i think about it the problem is that until #i was a teenager i literally did not feel emotionally secure anywhere. home or school. always the ticking of a bomb in the bg #the inevitable moment my dad blew up over nothing or i overheard my peers talking about what a freak i was #i dont know why it still hurts to think about. im so far removed from it my life now couldnt be more different #well thats the stupid fucking thing about childhood isnt it. those are your very first experiences with the world & other ppl #i do know my view of romantic relationships was irrevocably poisoned by my parents & that is never going to be undone. so cool

Scrumped a small bag of figs, a good handful of apples, and 4.5 pounds of pokeberries. I am doing one last attempt at a pokeberry dye this year (the last one boiled again !!!! Got a pretty brown but thats just not at all what I'm going for) and highly considering a fig and apple pie.

#also got a bunch of rose hips yesterday i think. and more apples before that #there are so many fruit trees in this city and im starting to wonder if im the only one picking fruit at all #they are always surrounded by a swamp of rotting apples #crazy to me #also managed to rip a massive hole just below the waist of one of my jeans #my sister convinced me to just buy a new pair from target. $30. flimsy as paper and have multiple random rips in places #my jeans usually get no wear at all #her advice is always like. ok so if i was living in an alternate reality where everything was different. maybe it would be helpful #i dont think ive ever not gotten burned 🙄 anyway back to goodwill jeans forever #foraging

#i talked about my intro 2 adulthood and what it was like around before/when i left home and how my sis was just 10 when i left #so we never rly got to be close n i just started talking 2 her this year. but the last thing i told my mom was she lost her son forever #and that she better not fuck up with my sister - and she took it to heart fr which was Great for my sister.#she grew up v loved and supported and idk as the eldest u have complicated feelings being the experiment child.#and as an older sibling u are genuinely happy ur younger sibling has it so much better but there's this disconnect where u both have #Very very different feelings about ur mom and family in general ig. but it's from having lived different lives and idk.#she relates though 😔💕 oldest sibs rly b dealing w moms that tear them down then watch w bittersweet feelings that ur sibs get a better #life. my life itself is fine lol im kinda stoned (⁠｡⁠ﾉ⁠ω⁠＼⁠｡⁠) but like. a good loving childhood. support. community n never feeling like #there's Nothing for u here. she's turning 21 in December it's crazy how time flies. Loved seeing your thought on music the eds would listen to! Any ideas for what music tastes they might have in common?

awwww lasagna that means so much coming from the playlist goat 🐐that's a good question. i've definitely thought about it once or twice.

i love @fish-bowl-2's headcanon about edd being extremely out of the loop when it comes to music/pop culture, so i do imagine he gets a lot of his taste from eddy's recommendations. (and eddy's taste was formed by albums he found around the house, especially in his brother's room. but that's besides the point.) anyway for some gay reason, massive attack is what i picture edd and eddy enjoying together. blue lines is more eddy's taste while mezzanine is right up edd's alley - the house m.d. theme song is on there after all.

Fun fact about Artist is that despite being raised with Scout, she doesn't have a Bostonian accent! She got rid of it while going to school in California in order to fit in better, and now it only shows up when she's angry/flustered/tired etc. And Scout absolutely loves to tease her about it
