Fairy AU (BNHA x Reader)

I have lil’ comic I hope to publish soon:)

Basically, it’s a world where fairies are the last mythical creatures to exist after all magic is depleted from Earth's resources.

Magic has been gone for so long that it’s seen as a myth by humans and fairies are seen just like any other animal-- their land is deforested, they are captured-- eaten in some places and treated like pets in others…

To help me build my world up, I decided to make a series of ‘drabbles’ where you (reader) are placed into this world and come across one of the MHA characters as fairies!

(PS I still need beta readers for Baby Boom! Chapter 5 is long, so if you wanna read it before other people, inbox me and you can help me edit it!)

Part 1: Izuku Midoriya.

It always shocked you whenever you saw the color green.

No.

‘Shocked’ isn't the right word. A better fitting word might reside somewhere along the lines of confused and bewildered. You see, the color green is not something that you found very often in the concrete jungle that you called home. In fact, you could count on one hand how many green items you saw daily.

There was the occasional street sign, the street light that blinked and told cars that they could speed ahead (any pedestrians waddling along be dammed) and, of course, the rare plant. The sad saplings-- pathetic excuses for trees-- planted every so often in your metropolitan area had some ounce of green you supposed. When they were not dying or dead.

So, in conclusion, green was not something you saw very often in your blue, steel, city life.

So why then, is a small blob of green currently staring at you, pleading for your help across the marketplace.

Your eyes widened as the sudden eye contact as you peered into the cage.

Was that a… fairy??

You snapped your head away so rapidly, that you pinched a nerve; however, the pinch in your heart was much worse after that sight.

Goddamn it.

You had made the careless mistake of turning your head ever so slightly toward the meat and deli and now, instead of finding a great deal on sliced ham, you had found a not so great deal of debilitating guilt. This scene was one Sarah Mclachlan, “In the Arms of an Angel” away from full blown making you cry.

As the fairy's squeaks reached your ears you knew that you couldn't turn your head even further from it, yet you did suddenly find the loaf of bread in your hand very interesting.

You concentrated on the bread like your life depended on it until finally you release your grip on the loaf with a deep groan, “Fine!” you exclaimed, earning a couple wary looks from the other customers as you angrily wheeled over to the meat section of the market.

The butcher face slacked in shock as you marched up to the register.

“How much for it!?” you furiously pointed to the fairy’s cage, not even bothering to give it a second glance.

“Uh…” the butcher, obviously startled by your assertiveness, could only shakily point above his head to the price board. As soon as your eyes landed on the price for the fairy, your jaw fell to the ground.

$1,500. USD.

“T-that’s gotta be a typo right? The decimal is in the wrong place!” you exclaimed with certainty, but the butcher only shrugged,

“They go fast, trust me,” he gave a short chortle, “We got a whole shipment this morning and this one’s all we got left. I thought for sure that mean blonde fairy bastard was gonna go last. The thing even bit me! I’m glad it’s ass is gonna be on someone’s plate tonight!” He gave a hearty laugh but you found nothing funny at all.

“I’ll take it,” you deadpanned, causing the butcher to halt in his glee. He threw you an unsure look.

“Now, now, miss. I mean it. That’s the set price-- no bartering with me!” he shook a finger at you, and you only rolled your eyes in return,

“Yeah. I get the point.” you angrily grumbled as you rummaged around in your wallet and pulled out your card. You slammed the plastic on the counter and pouted away from the man, your eyes landing on your newly bought, little, green friend.

That’s when you noticed he wasn't all green actually-- only his hair. He was average fairy height, at about 3 inches tall, and had a mess of glowing viridian tattoos throughout his body. His wings reminded you of a bumble bee’s.

His horns seemed to be sawed down, giving him an eerie, human-like appearance.

You tilted your head.

What an odd looking fairy…

The loud smack of your card being returned to you snapped you out of your trance. You quietly (somewhat begrudgingly) accepted your card back as the butcher snatched the fairy and shoved him in a plastic bag for you.

“Hey!” you called out, “Don’t hurt him!”

He threw me a puzzled glance, “It’s a fairy, they cant feel pain,” he flatly told you as if you were the dumbest thing on two legs.

A wave of heat rushed to your face, “I-I know that,” you reluctantly explained, “It’s just-- That’s my last two paychecks for you’re handling! So… so be careful!” you finished, grabbing the bag out of his hands and making your way toward the store's exit.

You wouldn't be getting groceries tonight after all. ‘Or until your next paycheck for that matter,’ you internally sighed before raising your hand up to your face to glare at the bagged fairy, “You owe me!” you hissed.

The fairy’s tiny face threw a smile at you, instantly warming your heart as you noticed little microscopic freckles on his cheeks.

The butcher gave a knowing chuckle at your retreating figure, “Must be one of those animal rights people again,” he muttered slowly under his breath as you walked away.

Meanwhile, you gave another gigantic sigh, “My landlord won't allow pets and no matter how tiny you are, a thing like you is bound to get noticed in a city like this if I let you go,” you gave the creature a sympathetic look as you continue your journey home, “What am I gonna do with you, little guy?”

Rant time!

Probably huge unpopular opinion but I need to vent and it's what I use tumblr for, so-

I am genuinely sorry, but Detroit Become human did not live anywhere near up to my expectations.

I'll even say I am dissapointed.

If you love the game more than life itself, I urge you to NOT read this, becuase you will only get pissed at me, probably, which is dumb to put yourself through.

I do love a lot about it- but there is too much I don’t like about it, and I need to rant becuase I’m sad about it, AND NO- I have not played it with my own two hands, but I have watched and analyzed it several times and this is a review of the story/script, which is key for me in any game. (and this review explains why I’m starting to wonder if I even want the game.)

I saw the trailer of Kara being put together when it first came out, years ago, and I just... expected something... mindblowing.

Let me also say- Me, personally- fucking love, I live, I thrive off of robots with personaleties. Ever since being a kid, I have such a humongous amount of weakness and love for tech that can talk and feel, just having a mind of it's own.

Examples of fave little roboes, for good messure;

The cartoon Transformers probably started it off

R2D2, C-3PO, BB8, K-2SO (Star Wars)

Iron giant (1999)

B.E.N (Treasure planet)

Jarvis (Iron man, Marvel)

Sonny (I. Robot)

Baymax (Big Hero 6)

Transendence (2014)

Wall-e, Eve (2008)

Atom (Real Steel, subtle personality)

Literally every little fucker from Tales from the Borderlands (Telltales)

Carl (Meet the Robinson)

Aaaaand those are just from the very top of my head as I'm writing this, there is such a huge amount of robotic and tech-characters and I adore them all.

My point is- put a robot with a mind and personality of its own in anything- and it'll become my favorite character automatically. (huehuehu yes pun)

And so, my expectations for this game might have been unrealisticly sky-high from the get-go, becuase of the pedestals I put robots on, I'm not sure exactly, but In any case-

The dialog is good enough, the graphics are obviously fucking insane- and the characters are a mix of amazing and just... plain confusing- but the story???

Well, I don't know, I was expecting...

Better imagienation, I guess. Not to mention some type of damn red thread?? (-partly a hint to the red ice, wtf was that)

The only thread is Jericho, which, originally starts as a part of Markus story- as some sort of fucking religious awakening for him??

In all honesty, the fastest way to make me lose interest in literally anything- shove some religion into it. And this is even worse becuase they’re suppose to be freaking robots. Being spiritual? Sure! They seem to have souls, so that makes sense! But straight-up full-on religious all of a sudden???

The whole rA9 thing????? What??WhY

The fact that he became a goddamn massia of some kind, is just??? dumb??? He ressurected like some damn Jesus and saved his people like Mose, but the androids basically moved from being slaves of the humans to being slaves of Markus. There was no way for me to actually trust that every individual android just gained free-will becuase Markus layed a hand on them???

And there’s the damn Lucy-bot who’s a damn oracle of some kind????wAT

He could’ve had a similar story without having it being so... religious.

And who the fuck is North and why does she have a romance option??? She’s so fucking violent- she responds so easily to hurt humans instead of being peaceful and why would Markus relate to that and like her?? Sure, you can choose for Markus to be violent as well but that doesn’t make sense becuase Carl taught him to fucking chill and treated him well-WHICH ALSO makes it odd that Markus, of all androids, should be the leader of an android-freedom revolution??

I cannot be the only one confused about it??

Yes sure- He learned about empathy, so even tho he had it good with his owner, he was quickly shoved in the garbage and then he felt that his fellow androids were treated like shit and they all needed to be free. STILL doesn’t explain how he got out of that garbage as if he knew exactly what to do. He should’ve stumbled around like bambi on ice, confused and upset.

SO, The whole revolution thing, It's simply a concept that doesn't hold up, not on this type of platform anyway, not in a three-parted story. The pacing goes to shit becuase of it and if I expected anything- I expected a lot of logic in this game.

I was expecting a lot more human-android interaction, but all I get is android vs humans.

The best part is definitely Connor's story. (I do love me that boidroid, very much) He has character development that makes sense- for the most part- and the whole concept of androids joining the force is logical, not exactly original, to have a type of super-human on the side of the police, but atleast it made sense. And also- in this part I did get consistent human-android interaction.

The only one.

And yet- that’s mostly provided that you don't actually die as Connor, becuase he resets as a new copy, which is cool as a gameplay but it fucks up the realistic pacing if you want a friendship with Hank. (yes I'm bitter)

Connor is also the only one who acts like a robot-that is becoming human. This is still testing the limist, as he has potential to die in every damn sequence.

Markus is starting off pretty good, but it’s like he’s becoming more robotic instead? Is it suppose to be a war-thing? becuase it’s not believeble.

And Kara, to me, just feels like a very awkward jittery human. I can’t really find her droid-yness.

Kara I feel like, she was all over the place, I can't even...

I don't even know where to start, her story had pretty good pacing I guess... kind of... sort of... almost. I don't know, Luther was amazing, but he seemed so random, I don’t know why. BUT GUESS WHAT?? THE ONLY FEMALE LEAD WANT TO BE A MOTHER??? Come the fuck on, are you fucking kidding me- I assume they wanted to appeal “to the most human part of a woman” for a female android, but it’s just bad imagienation for me.

I mean, Alice is adoreble but, why would she not even know she’s an adroid and fucking TELL KARA???

And please, for the love of games- I can’t be the only one who immedietly thought about Madison from Heavy rain in the creepy phsyco’s house when Kara went to Zlatko?

Quantic dream really love to put women in a creepy-fucker situation, don’t they. (even starting too seem unoriginal, innit?)

My Heros (Chapter 1)

Monday

07:00 am

BEEP, BEEP, BEEP

Thats the only thing I can hear my stupid alarm going off, it's the first day of school today and I'm not happy about that. Because you see I'm getting bullied by the school most popular boy Noah, we used to be friend in first grade but now he just bulling me every day and I have to get up and go to the hell hole. But right now i just need to take a shower and eat some food.

--TIMESKIP (after the shower)--

07:30 am

Well it was nice in the warm hot shower but i can't be late for my first day of the new school year, but the good thing about school is that I have a best friend y/bf/n and she tries to help me go through schoolda- "y/n please come down stair and eat your breakfast" and that my friend is my lovely mother, she doesn't know that I'm getting bullied and I feel very bad becasue i don't have the curragie to tell her "I'm commin in 5 minutes" I respond to her. I run back to my room and change to tight black jeans with a white sweater and put my long h/chair in a ponytail.

I run down the staircase and almost faceplanted infront of my big brother Alex, I walk over to him and ruffels his hair "Y/N STOP YOUR GONNA MESS UP MY HAIR!" I just start laughing at him. Well Alex know I'm getting bullied because he is just 2 years older than me, but the thing is that he doesn't help me when they start picking on me because the other students in he's classes will just start laughing at him and say stuff like 'You have a useless sister' and 'she is a loser just like you'. "Honey your breakfast is getting cold, come and eat" I'm snapped out of my thoughts by my mother. I walk over to the table and see bacon and eggs with a glas of juice, I start instantly start to eat my breakfast.

--TIMESKIP (arriving to the school)--

08:15 am

I step out of my mothers car and slowly start to walk to the entrance but I was cut off when i hear my name, I turn around to see my best friend y/bf/n she run up to me and welcome mw with a bonecrush hug. "omg I missed you so fucking much y/n/n" "I missed you to y/bf/n" we pull apart and she opens the door and we slowly walk in and see many students who speak and hug eath other, or even make out. We keep walking untill we reacth our lookers (that happend to be next to eath other). I open my locker and the first thing that caught my attention was a small piece of paper I open the paper and it said 'HI little slut, are you excited for the new school year - Noah'. I scrumble the little piece of paper in my hand to a ball and collected the books I need for the first lesson, and walk over and throws the paper ball in the trashcan. I turn around I see a familliar face with a smirk on it....

Them finding Gold Foot adorable. He wanted to protect everyone, and his fire and defiance was similar to Magnum's~!

GZ just has the biggest heart attack ever, and that's saying something. Gold Arm's... eye? What did they do to them?

B taking Q's place in GZ's face. "Don't tell him anything, commander. This is an officers meeting and very coincidental."

"Nii-san... Someone entered the building and is heading this way." Q pipes up as Magnum and all Silver Castle bursts into the building. "We need to vanish."

They frame GZ. They knock him out, untie him, and put their murder weapons on GZ's person and make him hold it. They slink out a back entrance.

Be doesn't know what to believe. He knows GZ couldn't have done it but all the paper's were talking about the autopsy of Thunder Bolt. It's a hockey weapon, it's very strong, and it looks to have been one assailant because the murder weapon was left on the ice.

"It was the Killer Kyoudai, you have to believe me, Magnum!" GZ would beg as the team didn't know what to do here.

"GZ... I believe you." Magnum will say as he startles GZ a bit. "But the news articles... They won't see it like us... If only we had proof. Like if they stashed something away..."

Stashed? On their person...? Gold Arm's eye!

"Magnum, I have an idea!" GZ would look at Magnum with determination here.

Since the G3 are being fixed in secret orders, and no one is the wiser about their condition. The KK can be free reined on the rink next week. Oh wait, those Silver Brothers were in the way...

The Silver Brothers are introduced here on the rinks as it's their big entrance. They are ace detectives, and Girochi is confident with them here, and incident like Thunder Bolts either won't happen or won't stay a mystery for long.

The Silver Brothers suspect Magnum Ace, Killer Q, Killer B, GZ, and Flash Kid. All have a motive to kill Thunder Bolt in cold blood for practise on a rink.They try to keep Silver Castle in their pacifist circle but Flash Kid and the Killer Brothers seem to always overwhelm the the underdogs.

They also might have history with Chrome Frontier...

In one episode, they clash and have a memory surge...

Turns out...

(( This is where Chronological Order becomes shit, so bear with me here. We were hyped up on ideas and everything went to shit. But you know where everything goes, hopefully. 😅 ))

After the Chrome Kyoudai killed a whole team of underdogs who tarnished their Dark name by winning, and Silver Justice and Silver Gallant were on the case back then. They had many restless nights as the CK kept killing while they accidentally fussed over paperwork.

Silver Gallant and Silver Justice are threatened with retirement from their sports if they don't find the murderers and they are like 1000% stressing until... Chrome Frontier knocks on their door with a broken and oil stained bat. He confesses everything and he rats out his brothers as he cries out he didn't wanna kill them.

That's how the Chrome Kyoudai were pulled in the Iron Soldier Program and Frontier tried to run away. But his brothers dragged him kicking and screaming into the underground as they wanted to kill kill kill and Frontier wasn't ruining this for them.

The Silver Kyoudai were retired because they knew too much about everything, and they made good looking war products.

Back to present day, Magnum gets access to their system by accident and wins the match that leads them into the championships.

GZ calling everyone into a meeting after the game. Once everyone gathers, he whips out a Leaguer's eye and holds it out. "I got Gold Arm's eye."

Magnum explains, "The Gold Brothers must be in danger, GZ got the eye off of Killer Q's person. The Gold Brothers, as reported by Juurouta, had to fight to Killer Kyoudai to get back in Dark... They could be dead."

GZ nods as he hands it to Bull Armor, the only one with medical knowledge of any kind here. "They told me as they slaughtered Thunder Bolt that my eyes were as cute as the one they had on them. Gold Arm's."

Bull examines it and cringes. "The line that connects it to the cortex is strained and stretched. It was ripped out..."

Top Joy might have fainted.

Windy might have punched a hole somewhere.

And Ryuuken might have swore a bad one.

Juurouta pipes up. "How do we catch them. Even their own ace detectives can't track the two they bunk with."
