like you and Daniel get together first and you’re just fuck buddies at first but then you realize you have Feelings and he’s actually so Sweet and you’re so used to guys treating you like shit that you run
You run because you’re scared that he’s break your already fragile heart but he’s not one to back down. He ropes his frat brothers into taking care of you in small, subtle ways until you end up storming over to his desk in the library and demanding to know what his problem is, tears in your eyes, and his heart drops. Did he get the wrong signals? He tries to explain and you grab his face and kiss him.
It takes you a bit to actually say the words “I love you” but my god, he beams when he hears it. He loves knowing that he’s one of the few people that resides in your heart.
And then you two meet Max.

and then even when she confronts him, she doesn’t know why she’s crying but she is and he’s still so concerned and comforting? IT MAKES ME SO EMOTIONAL😭😭😭
and then almost having a repeat with max? teaching him that he deserves to be loved? that it’s okay to love more than one person as well? to know what it’s like to get past the shit his father taught him and what he really deserves?😭

Okay. First, don’t apologize for all those questions! ✨ I don’t have the answer to any of those (because the story is still a mere idea in the back of my mind for now) BUT it’s really helpful because now I can think about it a bit and start to flesh out this story!
Second, the idea comes mostly from this post, I don’t want to take all the credit. But I loved it so much when I first saw it! I want to write something about it at some point! 😍
Okay, now, to your questions:

Both are possible. But I think it would probably be mpreg. It’s very cliche, but it’s way less likely for a mother to leave her child and if she’s not in the picture, it would mean she’s dead and I don’t want to write this (there are probably a million other possibilities but this is what comes to my mind fitting this story).
So mpreg (though that would not be the center of the fic at all, just a background thing that can be ignored for those who don’t like it)
For Carlos now, do he fall first for Charles?
Charles falls first. Carlos has to take care of all the kids running around everywhere and he doesn’t really have the time to notice one parent in the sea of parents. On the other hand, Charles gets all the time in the world to ogle the sexy coach (‘Dad, did you see my goal, it was so cool, right? Dad? Did you see?’ ‘Hmm yeah, yeah, so cool kiddo’ Charles answers blushing because he did not see at all, too focused on the coach. Damn, Charles, be a good dad and focus on your son, dammit). Plus, seeing someone else taking care of his son, when it had been just him for so long, just stirs something deep inside Charles and warms his heart. So yeah, Charles falls first.
Does he take extra care of making sure this kid is being great at football?
At first, Carlos treats him like any other kid. Then as he gets closer to Charles and his son, he tries to coach him more, to be there for him, to give him extra time.
But I also imagine the kid being just as terrible at football as Charles is, and it’s endearing but it’s also driving Carlos crazy because he wants his team to win, but he wants to make Charles and the kid happy and arrrghhhh he doesn’t know what to do.
Does Carlos also tries to influence them to be madridistas?
ABSOLUTELY. Cue Charles knowing nothing about football and the kid having stars in his eyes when he can talk about his favorite player with Carlos. Charles’ heart melts again.
For Charles. How old is he?
26/27 (basically how old he would be by the time I can find myself to write this 😅). No but more seriously, it’s because of your next question ->
When did he became a father.
I’m thinking messy teen pregnancy, barely 18, gets knocked up with a first boyfriend that turns out to be kind of a douche (but Charles is naive and in love). So the boyfriend breaks Charles' heart and leaves him to deal with the pregnancy (and of course Charles wants to keep the baby).
Was he barely adult and took full responsibility?
Yep. Barely adult yet took full responsibility. His family was a great help (his mother being all here for him and the baby).
Was he still studying and drop out or does he manage to finish his studies?
With a lot of help from his family, Charles was able to finish his studies (architecture, maybe?) but it was so so so hard.
Also is there any other drivers that will appear in this AU?
Yes! Pierre and Lando are the best friends obviously. Other drivers will appear. Maybe some will be other soccer parents, the second coach could be another driver. The douche boyfriend could be another driver too 🫣 No idea who anyone could be for now though. Any suggestion?

Honestly I LOVE all your lestappen fics and i know deep in my heart that I would love the charlos ones too BUT irl carlos just……..annoys me to the depths of hell with his whole oh who me i didn’t know there were team orders and pls guys let me win shit. But. Him with sharl is somehow so COMPELLING how does that even work and why am i so annoyed at a man that i cannot separate his racing antics from his actions towards sharl. I get ready to read charlos then im like yeah nah that’s not gonna work then i go back to my lestappen comfort fics. Do you get like that about any ships and what do i do to get over myslef and finally read ur charlos fics as well lmao
i get this! like i think the main reason why most people, me included, is because we like these people and we want to put them into situations--whether that's falling in love or gay sex etc etc. so i think it's totally fine not to want to read fics where one half of the ship is a guy you don't like! i think lately for me with the ships i've stopped reading, it's more out of disinterest, i guess, rather than dislike, but it's sort of the same thing. so i wouldn't say that you have to force yourself to read my charlos fics 😭 BUT you are compelled by them... charlos have that sort of power ldsfj;lkjs and i'll be honest when i wrote pt1 translation theory i didn't even really like carlos either i was just so compelled by whatever they had going on that i just had to write it (and carlos is kind of just a fantastic POV character; i feel like you can do things with him, e.g., use crazy metaphors and observe and notice a lot of things that you just can't really with max/charles, at least in my view). if you're really dedicated... i think one thing you can do is just, like, try to separate the fic carlos from the irl carlos? but i'm going to be honest. pt2 semiotic study might kind of hit too close to home/irritate you lk;jfddskjfslk because it's a little harsh on charles. but like, it's from carlos pov. that's just how it is. i think you just have to be charitable, in a way. all of these guys want to win, team orders or not. i will say though. at least in my charlos fics carlos adores charles a lot. at least 80% of pt1 is just him waxing poetic about how frustratingly beautiful he thinks charles is.
so tldr. don't force yourself. but if you're in the mood, no harm in giving it a try! this charlos series is one of the favorite f1 things i've written so i do like it a lot, but i'd understand if you'd want to steer clear

Eva!!! My gosh! I read your Versainz/Charlos fic and I'm dead!
Super long comment but so many things I want to mention. Sorry 😅😅
Really liked Carlos feeling conflicted while congratulating Max for his win. Our Ferrari boy! You did a great job with the comparison between Max and Charles through Carlos' eyes both on their personality and how they treat Carlos.
His love for Max during their TR days, and how Carlos was trying to make the most of it before it had to stop. How Max still searched for him to celebrate just because they promised each other they would do it when they were younger and in love.
I enjoyed quite a lot all the little glimpses that you were showing of Charlos, the thumb on the neck, Charles trying to get closer to him or Carlos want for him. How he defended Charles against Max "attacks" later on.
Of course Max is a power bottom, super fitting, ans the smut was great.
Both Max and Carlos being bastards but with such different approach to it. Max only doing it for his pleasure and having one over Charles while Carlos is doing it because he is greedy and thinks he can't be hurt but he will once he realises the pain he is causing. The way you already showed some glimpses of it already.
You broke my heart when Charles saw them! Poor baby 🥺🥺
I liked how you showed it was physical with Versainz and Carlos wouldn't want more than that versus the feelings he doesn't know, or wants to accept, he has for Charles. How he thinks Charlea is only a passtime when it clearly isn't like that.
And no offense, but he prefers Charles. Pliant, lovely Charles who bends to his will anytime he wants, just because he wants Carlos' approval and love back. Perhaps one day.
All that is going to slap him on the face sooner than later.
The end with Max teasing Charles at the press conference. He really knows how to get under the skin of our boy.

I read your Charlos piece and I loooove it!!!
Really liked your characterisation of Carlos, the way he knows that no matter what he thinks he needs to live to certain standards and can't just blow up. The way he noticed, not once but twice about Charles' lips and his mental note to talk with Andrea about it.
The Carlando bit, knowing Lando will be there for him when he needs it but still only thinking about Charles.
How he seems so tuned to everything that Charles does but still couldn't do anything, letting Charles be the one in charge.
The subtle Catholic guilt with the Ave María/Santa María.
The fresco comparison because if Charles can be anything is a tortured but incredible beautiful man in art.
Seriously, amazing, one of the best Charlos fics I've read. Hopefully you will write more in the future ❤️❤️
