I don't need real life and relationships, what even is 'normal'? House car and kids? Taxes and laundry? It sounds terribly stressful.

Our beloved Sugarloaf was hospitalized a few weeks ago and isn’t doing very well. She’s been very disoriented, has some pain in her hips, and pancreatitis. She was extremely lethargic, lost weight and was falling over and vomiting. The vet thinks she has something wrong with her brain. We don’t know if it’s a tumor or inflammation or cancer. She came home and with the help of some meds has been doing a little better. She’s been eating and gained a bit of weight. As we taper her off the steroids some of her unusual behaviors might return, but she can’t be on this medicine too long. We noticed that she stopped being able to climb or jump or walk straight. It’s been heartbreaking to see her in such a fragile state. Sometimes she circles in one direction or has trouble locating her food dish. Today she wanted to go out so we took a walk with her. I think all creatures large or small can benefit from fresh air. All we can do is love her and make her as comfortable as possible. Needless to say we’ve been stressed over her declining health. She’s the very best and we love her.
