The young girl had no idea how long she has been running for, all she knew was that her feet were aching and she was starting to get really tired and hungry. All she knew was that she had to go to place called the French Quarter, that's located in New Orleans because it seems that's where her family is, according to the locator spell she had used over a day ago.
Her aunt Dahlia had left alone yesterday morning in their home to run an errand and told her she would be back at lunchtime. Alyssa decided to use the opportunity to escape and didn't look back. Ally stops running, as she has finally made it to a city and starts walking around, being careful where she steps as she lost her shoes and was now barefoot.
The young hybrid spots a sign telling her that she has made it to the French Quarter somehow and decides to go down a quiet alley way in order to collect her bearings and then come up with a plan to find her family. When suddenly someone touches her shoulder, causing her to let out a scream and she turns to face the stranger. "Don't touch me!"
"That awkward moment when your cousin's friend/your friend's relationship with a British vampire parallels your last relationship where your ex is also a British vampire...."
a closed starter for @multi-royalty for Jake and Peyton.
With the custody battle being waged on all fronts it was nice to feel safe and secure, his daughter was safe and loved and he got another shot at having a normal life. It was messy but he wouldn't change it. Between Jenny, school, and work his head was constantly buzzing but Peyton was a breath of fresh air. Dropping Jenny off with his parents, he planned on spending the evening with Peyton. ❝ Hey, ❞ He said as he walked into her bedroom. ❝ How are you doing? ❞
It had been a long few months. It was the start of her career and it was supposed to be the most exciting part of her life. That had collapsed at some point during her first day. Rosalie had gotten the layout of the hospital down pretty quickly, and was ready to get down to the grunt work. She knew how interns worked and what was expected of her; she wasn’t as bright eyed and bushy tailed as some of her peers who were already talking about their first surgeries. The plan was to let her work speak for her and she wasn’t worried about how soon she’d get into the OR. What slammed her on her heels though, was seeing none other than her uncle standing there, saying he was stumped, and whoever could figure out what was wrong would scrub in. Rosalie was shocked to see Derek in Seattle when he was supposed to be in New York with his wife. What was worse was that there was another intern, clearly both looking and not looking at him.
By the end of his announcement, Derek had pulled her into the stairwell and demanded to know what she was doing there. It was quickly made clear to her that he would either make or break her residency. No one was allowed to know she was his niece and no one was going to know about Addison. From his body language and tone of voice, Rosalie knew that he wasn’t joking. So, she did as she was told and kept her mouth shut while watching her fellow intern attempt to hide the relationship. She held it in for months, kept the secret, she didn’t tell Meredith about her boyfriend’s wife and kept her nose in her charts.
The gossip spread through the hospital before Rosalie had time to actually figure out what had happened. She’d been on-call and overheard a nurse say, “He has a wife. He’s been here for months with that intern and he has a wife.” The first thing she did after hearing that was to go and find Derek, but he found her first and dragged her into an on-call room. They argued back and forth about the fact that she didn’t call Addison. When he finally heard her, he asked who had; Rosalie shrugged and asked who else knew about his wife before walking out of the room and going to find said wife.
She asked the nurses who directed her to a patient room and she breathed a sigh of relief when she actually saw her. “Aunt Addie,” Rosalie said, walking over to her, “What are you doing here? Why didn’t you call and say you were coming?” She had missed her, and she was also hoping that now that her aunt was here, the secrets would be over and she could go back to just working.
@multi-royalty requested a starter for freya from diana
"i know you think getting rid of my magic was a bad idea but ... i feel better without it." it's like freeing yourself from extremely bad burdens. she's finally free without the constant reminder that magic has hurt her so many times. that magic was what turned her mother incredibly cruel and greedy. that magic changes people. diana never had been an overly gifted witch anyway (as she had been constantly reminded of when she grew up).
multi-royalty asked: “you never have to be alone.” (barbie)
The soft rapping alerts him from working on his whiteboard. Long legs clad in khakis carry him to the door and he opens it only to have the aesthetically pleasing platinum blonde standing in his doorway. He nods in reply and still remains somewhat guarded. Not quite sure what the protocol is. Should he let her enter the apartment or ----"I know I don't have to be alone. But I prefer to be alone. Was there something you needed, Barbie?" Well--he didn't have to be completely rude to her.
"And if a stranger offers you candy, don't get in the van!" Buffy called after Elena as she left. She turned her attention back to Jenna knowing that even though Elena meant well, she wasn't feeling any better. Buffy knew her better than that. Yesterday, all Jenna told them about the meeting was what Mr. What's-His-Face told her about Jeremy. She didn't mention him being an "asshat," Jenna's words. "This is the first time you talked about what went on in that meeting yesterday," Buffy said, sitting down next to Jenna on Jeremy's bed.
This was not how she planned her day to go, especially when she stumbled into her uncle Kol's old witchy workroom in the local cemetery. She also should have heeded her aunt important lecture about never reading out loud from unusual books, in the. off chance they were grimoires.
For now there was is a newly accidentally resurrected blonde woman standing right in front of her, looking equally confused as Alyssa is. The woman also felt strangely familiar but she couldn't put her finger on it, causing the hybrid to feel ever more confused.
Ally clears her throat, deciding to break the ice. "Hello....Who the bloody hell are you?"
