Hello all, I'm putting @hybrid-royalty and @stoic-royalty on hiatus for awhile, just not feeling the muses as much anymore and I want to focus my time on Damon (@retconned-royalty) and Stefan (@ripper-royalty).

It’s Easter, which means Lizzy gives out chocolate, more than she gives out hugs (a lot.) Even though she knows Klaus probably won’t eat it, she DID leave him a courtesy Easter egg basket in his study with a little note:

Yeah I know, the Faberge egg isn’t even edible. But the rest are! Thank you for spoiling me constantly.

Klaus would smile softly at the note, he might eat one or two of the chocolate eggs, but he would definitely not be putting on bunny ear.

"Daddyyyyy?" Asking with the I'd Like To Maybe See The Outside World tone.

"No. You have homework, dance, and voice lessons."

"You are incorrigible," the admonishment was punctuated by a harsh exhale through his nose when she pressed herself against him. Somehow this was his first gymnast. Elena managed to push at his control and boundaries in just the right way, demure when she called him daddy while insatiably demanding to be taken. The hybrid's hips rolled against hers, revealing the hardness building behind his zipper, he pressed another kiss between her breasts before resting scruffy chin on her chest. Bright blue eyes met hers and a smirk lit them even further, "Good girls don't make the sounds you make."

ㅤㅤshe tried to glower up at him, doing her best to uphold her little defiant act. ❛❛ i'm always a pretty thing. ❜❜ she huffed in annoyance, even as she yearned for more of his attention. her body trembled under his kiss, gasp caught in her throat. she had no chance of moving him, and pent up need made her truly glare at him. she couldn't move her arms, but at least her legs were free; she lifted them, wrapping them around his hips and pulling his lower body down to be flush with hers. ❛❛ even though i was a good girl who waited patiently for you to come home, daddy? ❜❜ her gaze was soft now, peering up at him through her heavy lashes.

she's pouting silently in his direction, feeling like it's been far too long since he's given her any attention.

"You know you may as well drape yourself across my lap for all the subtlety you're displaying."

"You are not who you say you are."

Those would be the first words the young man heard when he woke, with a splitting headache no doubt. The hybrid had misjudged the blow to knock @sarcasticsnackpack out - oh well. He had no need to restrain his captive, beyond the floor walls of the bare room, he was clearly not a threat. No, he was a curiosity. Unfortunately, he'd caught the attention of a very curious Klaus Mikaelson.

What a snarky little arsehole. Why didn't the hybrid want to wipe the smug condescension from his stupid beautiful face. Outwardly though, Klaus scoffed and sauntered over to where @brokenbrxther was idling so prettily. Placing a hand on each arm of the chair, he leaned forward until their noses almost touched.

"Apologies for boring you so deeply Stefan. Shall I take you out for a night on the town? You haven't killed anyone in quite some time. I'm sure your teeth are itching in their s o c k e t s."

" well, just before you started talking for one. i'm also almost sure you were decent during infancy, though the jury's still out on that. " he was teasing, knowing well what the limits were when it came to klaus. " i just mean you used to have fun. do you remember what that was like, or is it all clouded by the red you seem to only see lately?"

'I haven't felt anything in centuries.' He'd once told his brother, but that was never true. This was his only vulnerability, just another thing on a long list to loathe about himself, a romantic at heart. 'Vampires were not meant to love,' he'd also said to Elijah. This he believed. 

To the surprise of both, Klaus let her go. It wasn't even that she'd said anything new to him, anything he didn't know already, but just for a moment he'd been so sure he'd seen something else in her eyes. Something he'd so foolishly latched onto. Love was too strong a word for whatever lurked beneath the surface, but he still recoiled as though he'd been slapped. Because even if he had seen something in @elenaes just now, her words still rung true. Anyone caring about him was the most terrible thing they could do. 

The hybrid's lips drew back in a straight line, covering the ignoble kicked puppy expression as quickly as possible, "I think it's best if I escort you home now." 

ㅤㅤshe knew she wouldn't be able to break free of his hold, but still stubbornly refused to look up at him. his proximity had every nerve in her body on high alert, dark gaze resting safely on the hollow of his throat to avoid any eye contact. but yes, his assumption was correct. because what would that say of her? she shoved at him with her free hand, desperate to be out of his bubble and for air that was untouched by him. ❛❛ of course it would be! ❜❜ she snapped, lashing out in another ineffective blow to his chest, frustration clear in her tone. ❛❛ after everything you've done - ❜❜ her words broke off sharply, overwhelmed by all the conflicting emotions creating a gnarled mess in her mind; and if she were honest, in her heart, too. ❛❛ - that'd be one of the most terrible things i could do. ❜❜

                       “ Mercy was necessary. That’s all. “

Deciding not to use anymore words than were necessary he simply replied. “My stylist had an unfortunate accident and I have a VERY important occasion coming soon, since she is one of the few people with some actual sense of style, no offence. Who else am I meant to invite? My chief of staff can't even tell the difference between red and burgundy! Why would I kidnap your daughter? That's gross, why does no one understand why style is important. Honestly, I'm going to tear my own heart out in a minute. Should I flavour it with mint?”

"I've decided to take you up on the offer." In a flash of vampiric speed, the hybrid had Jim by the collar of his shirt, pupils narrowed with compulsion. "Dig your heart out of your chest for me, using nothing but your own hands."

"No need for the mint, I just prefer it prepared naturally, so I may eat them hot and dripping."

Me and Lizzie are going shopping! Promise to bring her back safe! Or I'll have my heart delivered to you on a platter!

The intrusion was met with silence. If the man tried to speak, he would be met with a finger in the air, as those piercing blue eyes started to squint at him. There was no clear recognition of the man in that gaze. After an agonizing interlude, the hybrid finally spoke, "No... No you aren't one of my troglodytes." 

"Which means you must be someone else's. Not Elizabeth of course, she couldn't get a puppy to sit even if she tried. So what are you? Worlds worst kidnapper? A hired car that felt the need to introduce himself?" Klaus looked him up and down once more, unimpressed.

"It's not exactly a girls trip is it. You wouldn't be shopping in the same padded bra section of Victoria's Secret with her, so why exactly would you a teenage girl with whom you are not related, shopping."

What are you doing? He'd asked once, and she'd told him she was listening to his heart beat. He'd smiled and shook his head at her, said heart skipping a beat - hopefully it went unnoticed. Klaus didn't need to ask again, she'd so often lay against his chest to self sooth, moving her hair away from her ear in an effort to be closer. He didn't have to strain to hear hers, two beats for his every one, until she relaxed and fell into sync with him. 

When she leaned against him at one of his famous Mikaelson parties, heart racing and nerves clearly on edge, he did not hesitate to scoop her up and hold her in his lap. Pretty dress and fine suit be damned, anyone watching be damned, for a moment he would shield her against it all. The only message anyone would see is that this little doppelganger belonged to him. 

"Without me, every single one of them would be dead twice over by now."

"Klaus. Out here being a fucking icon, saving the DAY."

"I must add another win to his chart against his siblings..."

"Ah, to be young and stupid again."

"As much as I enjoy seeing you flourish little brother, you are neither immortal or invincible. If someone shoves a dagger through your chest you will simply die. Again."

"I want to call home, I miss dad and dad."

"Do you trust me to do that on my own or do I have to be supervised like when I use scissors?"
