7:00 pm

«It's nice here» - Seungcheol, Jeonghan and Daisy had found a tent near the sleeping area and decided to have a drink together. «Yes, maybe it's too windy, you should close the tent» - Jeonghan noticed that the flame on the cooker was constantly going out. «Okay much better that way» - Daisy zipped up the tent remaining warm and comfortable in the chairs they had brought. «I've been wanting to spend some time with you guys for a looong time» - Daisy started the conversation first as she poured soju to the two older ones «Oh yeah? why?».

Daisy immediately thought of the interview recorded before arriving here, when the staff asked her several questions.

[Q: Is there a member you don't talk to much?]

[D: Mhh, I like talking to everyone, we have a unique and familiar relationship but lately would I say Seungcheol and Jeonghan? I would say them yes.]

«I think I've never appreciated you enough» - She replied after she drank a glass of soju.

«Am I interrupting?» - Chan's voice made Daisy stop from continuing the sentence. «No, come on in» - «Here's the older ones with the younger ones» - Seungcheol commented seeing the complete foursome. «Dino smelled the alcohol and got carried away by it» - He continued making everyone laugh «Ah hyung if only there weren't cameras!» - Dino teased the leader. But in fact there was truth in his words. Dino never hid the fact that he wanted to go on a trip with the whole group but without cameras around.

«Daisy, what were you saying?» - Jeonghan woke her up from her thoughts. «Oh I just wanted to thank you because you're always by my side, you help me a lot when I'm struggling» - She felt her cheeks red from both the alcohol and the shyness of having to open up to someone. «I agree with you» - Dino nodded and Scoups too «Since we're on the subject...I also want to thank Jeonghan, of all my friends I think you're like a tree, always there when I need you» - Although these were words addressed to Jeonghan, Daisy got emotional first. «I'm glad, I want to be like an island. If someone is struggling and comes to me, then I'll accept them. I just want to be that kind of person» - Jeonghan was not quite sober as he had already had three drinks «That was what I meant earlier. You are, you are my island» . - Jeonghan couldn't hide his smile at Daisy's words and getting up a little shakily gave her a hug.

«Shall we go to the others?» - Dino proposed, hearing the voices of the other members not that far from the tent they were in «I hear them singing, let's go»

9:00 pm

«La Laaa La laa La la» - They were all grouped together eating some kimchi stew. «Oh you're singing Circles? Good, then I'm leaving. I'm too emotional tonight» - Daisy said once she heard the tune they were humming. «Are your eyes watering?have you been crying?» - They asked her in chorus «Your fault!» - She pointed at Jeonghan who had already taken a seat next to Mingyu. «My fault?!» - «Yes!» - «If you say it like this, you make me look like the bad guy!» - Jeonghan began to justify himself as all the other boys started glaring at him. «Hey! You have to say how things happened! Not just that I made you cry!» - He stood up pouting «Come on stop poking each other! Until now you were hugging each other come on!» - Seungcheol pushed Jeonghan down «And you Seokmin, put the song back on!»

popsicles (and confessions) on late summer nights

— tsukishima kei x gn!reader ; wc. 0.4k ; genre fluff, third year!au

third part to the seasons as love series!

“you’re insane, you know that?” tsukishima sighs, his hands are planted in his pockets and he finally comes to a stop at your side.

you stick your tongue out to which tsukishima responds by rolling his eyes and muttering something along the lines of you being childish.

“seriously though, who in the world calls someone out at 2 in the morning?” tsukishima groans, rethinking why he ever thought becoming friends with you would be a good idea.

as far as he could remember to his first year it was always you. you who would come up to him after class, begging him to help you out on questions he found laughable. you who would come visit karasuno’s volleyball games and cheer for the team.

and somehow, over the span of three years, you became his friend (although he longs to be something more).

now it's you who called him at 1:47 am complaining about how hot it was because the air conditioner was broken.

“well… it’s summer now and i was hot so the reasonable thing to do was to go for a walk outside, don’t you think?” you grin.

tsukishima stares at you in disbelief and scoffs, “sometimes you shouldn’t talk.”

“that’s quite rude,” you hum, jumping on to a stump —you lose balance for a moment which elicits tsukishima to flinch before you regain your balance.

“well, i’m not exactly nice am i?”

you think for a moment, “y’know, you’re a lot better than you give yourself credit for.”

both of you are silent and he watches you from the corner of his eyes —baggy clothes with messy hair, trying to balance on a stump that’s way too bumpy.

he sighs before reaching for your hand and pulling you off the stump, “you’ll get hurt, idiot.”

neither of you mention that your hands are still together, a bit more tight than before.

suddenly, you cry out, “man, popsicles sound really nice right now!”

tsukishima stuffs his other hand in his pocket and hums, “there’s a convenience store down this street.”

you smile, continuing to walk with your fingers interlaced with his.

for a second you break the silence, voice slightly calmer than before, “by the way, i like you.”

“good, because i like you too.”

somewhere quiet

“what would you do if you retired?” you hum; the radio’s playing classical music —courtesy of nanami’s music taste— and the rain pours heavily outside (it makes you yearn for warmth, so you move closer to where nanami sits.)

he reaches to hold your hand and thinks for a bit before answering, “i’d read books that i’ve been wanting to read for a while.. and move to somewhere quiet, maybe malaysia..or somewhere in the countryside.”

you let out a soft chuckle, “that sounds like you.”

nanami wants to ask you what you meant by that, but before he can he feels weight on his shoulders.

he glances down to see you smiling as you rest your head on his shoulder.

“if i were to retire, i would move somewhere quiet with you... i want to have a family with you too. and then, one day, we could read books to our kids together... one day.” you whisper, letting out a yawn before your eyes grow tired and slowly succumb to the tiredness.

nanami squeezes your hand lightly, “yeah, i would like that.”

it wasn’t perfect, if anything it was awkward and quite amusing.

it was nothing like the kisses from those disney movies that you could only dream for as a kid —the world wasn’t slowing down and it wasn't exactly like either of you had the courage to go in for the kiss as fast as you'd like— instead it was sweaty palms and nervous giggles as you both delay making the first move.

you’re smiling as megumi drops you off from your fourth date but neither of you really want to say goodbye. you’re both just standing there and waiting for the other to do something.

to be fair, you've never took megumi as someone to be outwardly romantic. he's always been the type to show his affection subtly.

which is why you finally muster up the courage to place a chaste kiss on his lips only to run up the stairs leading to your front door.

the warmth that still lingers on both your lips leaves megumi shocked as he processes his first kiss; he looks —quite literally— like a red tomato.

“this means we’re dating now, okay?” you say as you watch megumi nod with eyes slightly widened before waving goodbye and entering your house with your heart racing and an idiotic smile plastered on your face.

sure, it wasn't anything like you've imagined your first kiss to go like ー but it leaves both you and him with warm and fuzzy hearts.

burnt pancakes and piggy back rides

“goooood morning!” gojo announces, waking you up and eliciting a groan out of you.

“go away satoru,” you swat at him as you shift your body to a more comfortable position.

“aww, c’mon, i made pancakes!” gojo grins, hopping into the bed and wrapping his arm loosely around your waist.

“they’re probably burnt.” you say with a straight face, poking him on the forehead to which he laughs.

“it’s not thaaat bad, i swear! i had megumi and tsumiki taste test it!” he responds, poking your face back.

you let out a chuckle, “poor megumi and tsumiki.”

gojo dramatically places his hand over his forehead, “oh my lovely y/n, i will pretend that you never said that! only because i love you that much.”

you can’t help the smile that grows on your face as you look at him.

gojo tilts his head noticing your eyes on him and he smiles back, facing you now, “i must be real handsome for you to be looking at me like that.”

you roll your eyes and playfully shove him to which he laughs and apologizes for.

“i’m starving,” gojo says afterwards, “and i have to watch megumi and tsumiki leave for school so we should go.”

“way to ruin the moment,” you tease and watch as he pouts like a kid.

"fine," you eventually give in, “but only if you give me a piggy back ride.”

“anything for the love of my life,” he smiles, wrapping your arms around his neck and picking you up in no time, talking about how childish you are before you flick him on the head and retort back saying he’s just as childish, if not more than you.

when you get to the kitchen he drops you off and you’re met with megumi and tsumiki eating their (half-burnt) pancakes as they tiredly say good morning; it’s just another regular day but you feel so much love.

second part to the seasons as love series !

megumi fushiguro can tell that spring is near when the snow starts to melt and the branches start to grow leaves again.

but, megumi realizes it is spring when he sees you running around the fields. it's spring because you're calling him over to look at a bed of flowers where his and your kids are arguing whether flowers can feel pain when being picked.

you're sitting on the freshly cut grass as your daughter blesses the two of you with crowns made of flowers ー claiming something along the lines of being royalty and having to fight a monster (her older brother) to save the princess (her).

you laugh when your son chases her complaining that he's actually a prince and she shrieks in response.

megumi smiles at them, and at you. it's the shape of your daughter's eyes that imitates yours and the way your son's hair is a reflection of his own erratic hair. it's just a saturday afternoon in spring, but megumi's chest feels warm and fuzzy.

"daddy! mommy!" your daughter prances back, beaming as she holds something behind her back. megumi smiles, "yes?"

"look what i found!"

your daughter opens her palms to reveal a tiny four leaf clover, her brother running up behind her with a frown on his face.

he hears your son whine, "no fair! i found it so i should have been the one to show them!"

as you try to break up their argument (for the nth time today) with jokes and smiles, a familiar feeling throbs in megumi's chest again.

with uneven flower crowns on his and your head while watching your daughter and son forgiving each other ー albeit with pouts on their facesー megumi fushiguro feels love.

that night you fall asleep with your kids in between you and megumi; with his arms around your kids and your arm reaching to hold his other.

the uneven flower crowns gifted to you and him are on the kitchen counter next to a vase of tulips and a four leaf clover in a zip bag pinned on to the refrigerator.

at first, megumi fushiguro is unsure of his feelings. but, when nobara and itadori asks about his feelings for you, he’s willing to admit that maybe it is love.

explanations and answers

ー tsukishima kei x gn!reader ; wc. 0.3k ; genre fluff

tsukishima kei looks for answers.

as a kid, he spent most of his time playing puzzle games — trying to put things together and form equations. from emotions to natural phenomena, all his life he chased after explanations to the unknown. he’s always wanted to know the whys and hows of the world.

and, most of all, he wants an explanation to you. because when he wakes up to your voice, his mind (the same one that drowns in chaos) settles as if time has stopped.

explanations in these moments seem unnecessary — with your head buried in his chest and his fingers playing with your hair. but to tsukishima, his mind scrambles to find an answer to whatever this is.

he’s desperate to match words with feelings, to figure out this feeling.

but when your eyes flutter open and he sees the light seeping through the shades reflected in your eyes, he settles on an answer.

“i think i love you,” he breathes.

“hm?” your voice hums, and at the sound of your voice he swears that butterflies are soaring from his stomach to his lungs.

“nevermind.”

“say it again,” you say.

“i thought you didn’t hear me,” tsukishima huffs, pulling his body away from yours.

he stares at you and even as he sees you like this, messy bed hair with eyes still a little drowsy and a teasing smile, tsukishima thinks that you are the most radiant person he’s met.

“i said, i think i love you.” he smirks and watches as bright red roses bloom across your cheek.

you pout and turn the other way, “you can’t just say things like that with a straight face tsukki.”

“you told me to,” he chuckles and pulls you back into his arms, body relaxing at your touch.

yes, tsukishima kei seeks answers.

and in this moment he doesn’t completely understand why he never wants to let you go. he fears himself and questions why he lets the walls he’s spent years behind down. tsukishima wants to understand why you and the how. but in the same moment, he realizes that you and him go beyond apprehension.

loving oikawa toru is hard.

he’s an ambitious man, it’s no secret, he’s always seeking ways to improve himself ーit doesn’t matter if he works himself till his bones ache because he's the oikawa toru that left japan to follow his dreams of going pro in volleyball.

he went halfway across the world and left you. you who he claimed was everything to him.

but, you understand. i mean, this is oikawa toru you’re talking about.

the long-distance is just another challenge that you and oikawa have to overcome and power through.

so, in this moment, you watch ーthrough a screenー as oikawa flops onto his bed groaning for a second before settling into a comfortable position.

“are you tired? hurt?” you ask, eyebrows furrowing as you watch him smile through the screen.

he shakes his head, “hurt? no. tired? yes, extremely. i feel like i’m going to pass out in any moment.”

you hear a chuckle on his end and you can’t help how your lips curl into a smile.

“y’know, it’s going to be your birthday in a minute or two ーwell, at least in argentina it is.”

“hm? do you have anything special planned for me?”

“having me as your partner is more than you could ever wish for,” you tease, sinking in the image of oikawa’s smile and ingraining it into the back of your mind.

“i could say the same back,” oikawa retorts, going on a short tangent as to why you were so lucky to have him.

and although he’s listing off reasons, he knows that it’s him that’s the lucky one. because it’s always been you who’s stuck by his side even as he’s half a globe away.

and it’s you who’s in his mind as he fumbles with the engagement ring on the other line, wondering when he’ll be able to see you ーwondering when he’ll be able to put the ring on your finger.

“oh!” on the other side of the world, you grin, “happy birthday toru, i love you.”

“thank you,” oikawa hums, “i love you too. and, i miss you so much.”

sure, being in love with toru oikawa is hard, but you would continue to love him in every next life.
