Ace Ikebukuro (池袋エィス)

The name Ace (エィス) means ''Number one'' or ''Best'' in English.

Ace's surname Ikebukuro (池袋) means ''Pool, Pond'' (池) (ike) and ''Bag, Sack'' (袋) (fukuro/bukuro).

Tsurugi (ツルギ) means "Sword" which is one of the alternate names for the spade suit in different countries.

The three, Kokoro, Mistuba and Ace(the boy with the “A” on his jacket), are a part of a 5 person unit in King of Prism Shiny Seven Star. This is their official art. And there’s no way Heartslabyul wasn’t a reference to The Shuffle. Because, I kid you not, Cater shares the Same voice, Tatsuyuki Kobayashi, as Ace Ikebukuro. Not to mention, original Shuffle came out during the KinPri movies, before Twisted Wonderland was even announced.

Technically, prior to the Shiny Seven Stars(the anime), Ace was not a part of The Shuffle during the movies. But his voice always was. They hid who the real voice singing as center for a long time. Here’s a song by the VA: Love Mix.

I also just want to say that this Voice actor along with Ace’s(TWST) are the main reason I played Twisted Wonderland. Because they both are a part of WITH a different Pretty Series unit from Pripara. And I love their songs. So much so, that I am dissapointed Ace(TWST) didn’t sing much during the VDC and Cater didn’t even make the cut. And, I’m confident in this opinion, Cater has the best idol voice of all 22 Twist boys. He always has such a clear voice during lives.

Did you know Mitsuba Kanda's voice actor Takuhiro Eda has a youtube channel where he do some "shooting at target with a gun" type of stuff (i dont know what it called..) while wearing a cowboy hat bolo tie and a cowboy style gun holster belt So I think Mitsuba kanda hold and shooting a gun in this episode is a reference to Takuhiro Eda's hobby (because think about it everybody else in the shuffle has a normal hobby and then Mitsuba A GUN)

Actually I have an old magazine that does list his “appeal point” as shooting, but I have no doubt it’s for the reason you mentioned. That’s great.

This is my list of the different animes/fandoms I write for or might write for. I might add or remove some of the listed fandoms every now and then, just a heads up if someone wants to request whatever. Some of the listed series/books/movies/comics are written with a strikethrough which means that I’ve decided to take a break from writing for that particular fandom etc. or that I need more knowledge about said fandom.

Also, a lot of these series etc. has a lot of characters and it’d take me ages to list up every Naruto character I can write for. Sugita (Takanodaba) went to watch Kinpra with a friend. Kobayashi Tatsuyuki (who has a spoilerish role in the movie) also watched it and loved it, crying multiple times. Seems like Sugita and Kobayashi unexpectedly met and now both are mutuals on twitter.

Director Hishida, Tasuku-kun (Taiga) and Taku-chan (Kakeru) were at Osaka yesterday. At 00:30, the 3 of them with Avex producer Nishi were at the Prism Elite Party (same as last year, although the previous had Terashima Junta + the staff). The small event was streamed online on niconico and lasted 2 hours where they casually chatted, ate and drank Kinpri-themed stuff with fans.

Hishida and Taku-chan didn’t rest this weekend and today they were at Kyoto with Saito Soma (Yukinojou). Hishida said in this stage greeting that he wants to continue doing more King of Prism sequels, but people need to keep supporting the movie (nothing new really).

Tasuku-kun, Naganyan (Leo) and Junta-kun (Shin) went together to Ooedo Onsen Monogatari for the Kinpri collab on Friday. The 3 of them had Leo’s drink, Naganyan also tried Yukinojou’s drink and Zeus’ curry (which he liked) while Tasuku-kun ate Taiga’s takoyaki. Tasuku-kun got Taiga and Kazuki merch.

Tanaka Minami (Non in Pripara, Nitocris in FGO, Minami in WUG) promoted Kinpra in her radio show since she went to watch it recently. She also wrote about it in her blog where she fangirls quite a bit about Taiga.

Idol Time Pripara seiyuus Date Arisa (Yui), You Taichi (Nino) and Yamada Yuina (Michiru) watched Kinpra together.

The Rainbow Live seiyuu have also been tweeting in their accounts about Kinpra.

The Shuffle! seiyuu haven’t been listed in official websites besides Takanodaba, so after digging around here’s the list for anyone interested:
