"I couldn’t imagine starting a race without coffee. And there’s scientific proof that it boosts performance in endurance sports—it can help you focus.

Sometimes I get lucky before a race and there might be a decent coffee shop on the way to the track, but in the worst case I rely on the team’s coffee supply, which I am trying to improve! And then there’s always the backup—I take an AeroPress and some beans in my backpack on every trip."

our postcolonial theory prof told us today in concealed terms that she'd prefer we didn't write our final essays about Palestine because she fears reproach from the uni (whose guidelines are: we side with the government - isreal has a right to defend itself) if she judges a radically pro palestine approach positively. hell world.

#mission report #first of all truly shocked that the uni is so firmly and explicitly anti palestine instead of a more general Violence Is Bad approach...#second of all MY WORD the epistemic violence of it all is mind boggling #also she told us as well that a friend of hers works at an art magazine which simply published an image of the palestinian flag #and within three hours of publication they got a call from an israeli official who request they retract the issue and reprint it without 🇵🇸

#ftr i dont even play cpl anymore. just wanted to log on and see how they 'improved' rooms by making them look horrid like last year #like bro. why is your anniversary party taking rooms that actually have pretty high quality assets and making them look worse #to be 'classic'. my brother in christ the wiki literally has high quality assets/rooms...you dont need to make them look Bad. they dont eve #look like this if you look at ACTUAL images/footage of those parties most of the time! (asides from 2005/2006 which iirc Did look grainy)#i could go on but i shan't unless asked but in closing: i dont like cpl. i would not EVER recommend club penguin legacy.#you would have more enjoyment engaging with official media through the books. magazine archive...ds and wii games...and flashpoint for all #of the mini games (some beta tester games are there too but not all) psa missions bookshelf books newspaper and a comic maker disney put ou #for the game. or making OCS or fanfics! or just play a different cpps that isnt cpl or ncp.
