“Ame” (23年2月26日 - A Moritaka Fanart)”
I became captivated by Chisato Moritaka after listening to her eighth album and discovering the city pop and bubble era in Japan. It reminded me of how people today are drawn to K-pop. I particularly admire Chisato-chan's fashion on her album covers and promotional posters, which blend cuteness and classic elegance. Her outfits remind me of the Imperial Combat Revue's attire from Sakura Taisen, which I find appealing. The uniform from her single album “Ame” is my favourite from her legs postures and jacket with a silky cape.
To create my artwork, I use ink for both outlining and coloring on mixed-media paper from a local handmade art store. I prefer using the "nipponji" nib, a hybrid of "G" and "maru/round" nibs used in manga creation, and dip it in Kaimei Drawing Sol ink for a glossy black finish. I also use Winsor & Newton's colored inks mixed with water to create fabric textures and a minimalist color scheme, using blue as the primary shadow color for a harmonious composition.
While my artwork may not match the original image of Chisato Moritaka perfectly in terms of perspective and posing, I draw inspiration from the manga style's composition and design aspects rather than just its aesthetic.

I wish Moritaka Chisato and Kamiko could do a duet together. Kamiko has done quite a few of Moritaka's songs as solos (her version of Kono Machi is THE CUTEST<3) and they're both Kumamoto natives. The closest we got was Kamiko being filmed watching Moritaka's performance last year on FNS but an actual duet would be so lovely. They're both under UFA so they could just put it on Upcoming. <3
