No because Caroline keeping the dress that Klaus gave her through all those years and handing it down to her daughters and Lizzie keeping it tucked away safely in the top of her closet for a long time thinking it's the most beautiful dress she's ever seen so it obviously has to go on the most beautiful girl she's ever seen without knowing that it belonged to that girl's dead father is just so poetic and brilliant.

Could do a damon short where it is the day of the Mystic falls pageant and y/n is haveing douts about it because she is not like her sister but damon helps her get though and wins it

Caroline insisted that we both enter the Padgett but I don’t really understand why. I don’t see the point in dancing around in a dress for a title and a crown. But I am doing it because it will make our mom happy. Slowly walking down the long staircase in the red dress I was wearing my gaze met Damon standing at the bottom of the soars whined made me confused. “Damon, what are you doing. I thought Matt was my escort.”
“Quarterback got hung up with work. So I thought I could step in his place.” He offers me his hand leading me down the last few steps and into the room with the other girls and guys.
He intertwined our hands together where we began moving our feet across the floor. My gaze dropped to the ground where he spun me out and back into his chest. “I don’t like these things very much.”
“Why’s that, Y/n?” He asked me staring softly.
Dropping my gaze to the floor I didn’t want to really tell him because he would probably find it dumb. “Caroline asked me to be in this dumb thing. But I don’t want to do this cause I know she will probably win or someone else. So why do both Forbes girls need to compete.”
"So what is the real reason you don't want to compete in this Padgett?" The raven haired Salvatore brother asked, spinning me out of his chest.
Spinning back into his chest it took me a second before I answered the vampire in front of me. Mostly because I did have feelings for him. My sister said he wasn’t a good guy and just used her when she was still human. So that was what was detouring me from telling him the whole truth. “Damon, I…I don’t feel like I am good enough to beat the girls here. Or even my sister for that matter. I’m not the one who even caught your eye.”
“Is that what you think, Y/n?” He asked raising his voice at me making me avoid his gaze until he broke through the girls dancing leading me back into the building not caring if we messed up the event. “Cause you’re completely wrong that I didn’t notice you. Because I noticed you first.”
Blinking at him I almost couldn’t process it. “Damon, I - why didn’t you say something before now?”
“Because you’re sister basically threw herself at me. And you didn’t so I just went after her. And I’ll walk, away if you don’t feel the same way-“ I cut him off without thinking I crashed his lips onto mine. Wrapping my arms around his neck I deepened it.
He moved one hand up to my face and his other went to my waist kissing me back. Leaning against his embrace where we finally broke the kiss. “Let’s get out of here. Cause this Padgett isn’t our thing.” He nodded taking my hand in his vamping us back to his house.

you may not like it but Syd and Richie are literally the Elena and Damon of The Bear
#Richie is. arguably. the villain of season 1#who has this long complicated history with Carmy but still they’re stuck with each other. eternity of misery.#Syd is the bright-eyed faith-filled catalyst that walks in and changes things for Carmy#but while she’s saving Carmy she’s ASKING Richie about Michael and seeing his soft-heartedness with his daughter! sees this side of him!#sees that he’s SUFFERING. because Richie had one plan for his life! he was gonna get Michael out of the tomb of his addiction#but it was never Richie it was always Carmy!!! Carmy gets the restaurant! Yes it is! I also love that song tbh. It is a Dean x Elena story, but with a healthy helping of Caroline x Elena and eventually Klaus x Elena as well. I don't even know if I can sum this one up, it came together as a collision of many many vibes so maybe I'll just list off some of those:
At this point in my life it was exactly a 10 minute walk to the bus stop to commute to work so you Know I was listening to All Too Well (10 Minute Version) pretty much every day, and in particular the line "just between us did the love affair maim you too?" vibed hard for what this verse became
for some reason New Constellations' outro and the continuous repetition of "what if there's more?" has always brought to mind a woman giving birth, I can't explain it, but that's just the association for me.
How would Elena's life had gone if Stefan and Damon never entered it?
How would knowing the Winchesters for most of her life change her?
How would Klaus react to finding his doppelganger if she was pregnant?
How would Dean handle Jessica's death if he was in a serious relationship when Sam lost her in the same way they lost their mother?
What exactly does it mean to be from a bloodline of women who all seem cursed to terrible fates? Does sharing a face make them a sisterhood even if their fates are different kinds of terrible?
What would Elena's life look like if she had a relationship with Isobel and also Katherine?
What would Alaric's life look like if his reason for becoming a vampire hunter died before he found him?
All of these questions and more I attempt to answer in New Constellations, coming to you idk maybe next lifetime if the way Addendum is progressing doesn't change anytime soon.
And just as he stumbles across the first inkling that she might not stay a sweet little girl forever; Elena Gilbert finds herself, for the first time, dreaming of someone other than Dean Winchester. Instead of his teasing green eyes, easy grin, and beat-up old brown leather jacket, there's her familiar blue eyes, cherubic grin, and that shining green satin dress.

I think Bonnie should've escorted Caroline to the pageant. She'd already been stepping in as Caroline's partner for rehearsals so she knew the steps, it would've been someone Caroline was more familiar with, all the girlies could've been in the pageant together regardless of founding family bullshit and it would've been iconic!!
