Uh... so I got really into making tiny stationeries for a hot minute.

How about if I painted the left pauldron of my Imperial Knight in a mediaeval manuscript style?
Obviously this is still very much WIP, but I think you'll get the idea! 😄 The plan is that the second half will show a fighting scene of a knight defeating a monster in melee, but I'll need to find a good (and goofy) reference for the monster first.
Also painting in this style helps with my fear of freehanding, because even if dimensions are a bit off, I can just say that it's part of the aesthetic 😆💁
It's been a week so I figured I'd have a Work in Progress post for my own player character for Lancer. Here's my take on a Chomolumga, the tech savvy variant of the Everest. We're kitted out with two assault rifles for that lovely Reliable, and finishing it with a light Nexus for the matching range. I've also given it manipulator arms to type away on keyboards and other nerdy things without compromising pilot safety.
Basically I took a ton of 3d assets and mashed and posed them in a terrible 3d modeler program. Some of the pieces I remember are Battletech Black Knight torso and Assassin legs, Armored core heads someone made for Tau suits, parts from the free mech package Filamentio made (great stuff), and bits from the Modular Mech campaign on myminifactory. Since not all the parts are free, I wouldn't be able to distribute this one if people wanted it, sadly.
This guys role will mainly be to play support, speccing into Swallowtail to support my partners rip and tear Blackbeard build. I've essentially just laid down the basecoat to get an idea of color placement
I have little bird figurines perched all throughout my collection of various dollhouses. And I decided to make a little birdhouse for one of them. Complete with a nest and eggs.
after two weeks i finished my first miniature room!!!! this took so many hours and i discovered a wonderful new hobby. i'm so excited to make more of these :'))
Works in progress in new technique - learning how to work with wood and resin. Turned out handcraft is a great day to calm down during meltdowns when I can't even draw. I lack supplies and instruments, but damn, I want to continue learning. Carving tiny landscapes and combining it with painted and sculpted miniatures sounds exactly like new obsession
