categorizing mobs
hello travelers. are you to gain knowledge on mobs? well your in luck. this post will categorize mobs on what they are, how they look and there purpose. it will add mobs that were scrapped, spin off games, lets jump in shall we? the first category is the simplest. these are the undead. creatures that burn in the sun with rotting flesh or no flesh at all! some have abilities like hunger and poison! the following are these. undead: zombie, husk, drowned, lobber, bouldering skeleton, wither skeleton, bogged, wither, mossy skeleton, stray, frozen zombie, jungle zombie, wraith, phantom, red phantom (pet mob in minecraft dungeons), zombie piglin/pigman, armoured zombie/skeleton, zoglin, zombie pig (pet in minecraft duongeons), giant, zombie horse, skeleton horse, vex, necromancer, sunken skeleton, tower wraiths, vanguard, zombie villagers, bone spiders, skeleton wolf, skeleton horse traps, zombie rabbits, nameless one, wretched wraith and finally the wither storm (?).
some of you might ask why the wither storm is on the list. it is a command block corrupted version of the wither. therefore, undead.
next one has a wild range of mobs. known to be the main villains in the game and have been the center of theorization and fanart, i give you, the illagers. these lovable gray psychos inhabit the world and raid villages. plundering and thievery are there main skills. whats interesting is that some are known to have powers. lets take a look.
illagers: vindicator, pillager, evoker, witch, ravager, illusioner, iceologer/chilliger, tower keeper, guildsmith, powersmith, uniquesmith, enchanter, geomancer, mountaineer, rampart captain, pillager captain, royal guard, tower guard, vindicator chef, wind caller, pillager/vindicator raid captain, giant royal guard, warrior, giant royal guard, mage, arch illager and finally the viler witch.
this category is one of the famous ones. creatures that will help in battle and more. presenting, the golems! (yay!) this category consists of mobs that can be made or summoned. magically and manually.
golems: iron golem, snow golem, love golem, wither, wither storm, copper golem, tuff golem, agent, glowing abomination, jungle abomination, glowing ministrosity, mini abomination, redstone ministrosity, squall golem, redstone cube, corrupted cauldron, redstone monstrosity, redstone golem, tempest golem, mooshroom monstrosity, obsidian monstrosity, jack o lantern (unused minecraft doungeons mob) , mob of me (minecraft earth), furnace golem, melon golem, cobblestone golem, grindstone golem, stone ministrosity, mossy golem, plank golem, first of brick, first of oak, first of diorite, first of stone, key golems, (from now on it will be the minecraft story mode golems) golem in a box, icy golem, magma golem, prison golem, prismarine soldier, larger icy golem, giant magma golem and prismarine collosus
the last one does not have a name yet. lets call this category the sprite/spirit category. some may be undead and others living. its a mixed bag.
sprites and spirits: allay, vex, blaze, breeze, glare, wisp, guardian vex, soul wizards, wraith, wretched wraith, wildfire, build and gather allays.
ok heres a bonus one. a very small category that has one mob only. introducing, the sculkoids.
sculkoids: warden. thats it. this is part 1 of me categorizing mobs. next one will be: animals (uh oh. a lot of them-) insects (cool) and finally, amphibians! (AMPHIBIA VIBES GIVE US SEASON 4 MATT BRALY-)
if you have a suggestion for a theory, feel free to type it in the comments and i will make a post abt it! camel out!

Minecraft Headcanons (part 2)
This part shall be about the Nether's animals and fungi(not including piglins because they're complicated, I'll make a post specifically about them. And I am also not including wither skeletons, zombified piglins and zoglins)
Striders
They're just big frogs that are bipedal.
Their legs are covered in a dark slimy coat that protects them from extreme heat.
They have very large, webbed feet that help them walk across the lava without sinking.
The 'hair' they have are just really thin, flexible pieces of cartilage.
Their flesh is poisonous to eat because they eat warped mushrooms, which are very poisonous.
That's all I have for striders for now.
Ghasts
They're related to squids.
Unlike squids though, they don't have a beak nor ink, and they don't hunt other creatures.
They feed off of any type of fungi in the Nether.
They're normally very territorial to other ghasts, often firing fireballs at them to chase them off their lava pool.
They have a slimy coat on them to protect them from burning.
They have many air pockets in their body, allowing them to float.
They have giant lungs that take up the majority of their body.
The 'mouth' they shoot fireballs out of is actually just their siphon.
That's all I got for Ghasts for now.
Hoglins
They're related to pigs.
They eat crimson fungi and red mushrooms (and sometimes corpses).
They're very territorial to everyone and everything except for their own kind. (They can call tell who is not a Hoglin by smell.)
They have awful eyesight, and that's why they attack everything that moves.
They have an excellent sense of smell, which helps them find food.
They use their snouts to dig up the hard Netherrack to get to the soft crimson mycelium underneath.
That's all I got for Hoglins for now.
Blazes
They're a mix of biological matter and metal.
They feed off of gold and other metals that are found in the Nether.
They have floating metal rods surrounding them which are very hot, if you were to touch them with your bare hands, the skin on your hand would get 3rd degree burns instantly.
They have a core in the middle which is far hotter than lava and will melt or burn anything that touches it (except for netherite).
They have a head which contains only information on how to not permanently shut down and to protect the fortress they reside in.
The only way blazes can be made are from spawners.
That's all I got for Blazes for now.
Magma cubes
They're related to the common slime.
Their diet consists of embers, lava, withered bones, and Netherrack.
They reproduce by splitting themselves apart.
They do not have a brain, but they function just fine.
They use their high body temperature to process their food.
That's all I got for Magma cubes for now.
Warped Fungi
Warped fungi is very poisonous, but only if you eat it. The effects of eating a warped shroom are: vomiting blood, diarrhea, severe dizziness, and hallucinations. This will happen over the course of 30 minutes, after that, you'll die.
They are avoided by every single creature in the Nether except for the ghast and strider.
These fungi can live almost anywhere, even in crimson biomes.
They have bigger mycelium than crimson fungi, which poke out of the ground and make large stems that you can climb.
That's all I got for warped fungi for now.
Crimson Fungi
Tastes spicy and salty, it's very chewy and not very flavorful, but it's edible.
The vines that stick on the gills of the mushroom aren't part of the mushroom, they're vines that were introduced to the Nether awhile ago and mutated.
That's all I have for Crimson fungi for now.
Part 3 will be about undead mobs! (Which shall be made way later in the future.)

Minecraft Iron Golem Farm Guide
Are you looking to start your very first Minecraft Iron Golem farm? A Minecraft Iron Golem is for life, not just for Halloween, that's how the saying goes does it? Iron Golems are one the most intriguing aspects of Minecraft. You can make them yourself. And that's a great thing. There are numerous responsibilities that go along with this, but the important aspect to keep in mind is that you can make life with just a few blocks and the root vegetable.
This is the good news: don't let it affect your conscience too much. The Minecraft Iron Golems are a ferocious creatures, are strong and surprisingly gentle and also good for the environment. We've learned a lot about these creatures, so we decided to create a guide.
Iron Golems can be a great aid in the creation of farms. ealatorre It is essential to get to know them and learn how to start your very first Iron Golem farm.
How to locate or summon an iron golem in Minecraft. Minecraft Iron Golem
There are several ways to get in touch with an Iron Golem. The easiest, by far is to create one. This is done by creating four Iron Blocks and putting them in a T shape. Then you can add the Jack O'Lantern, or a carved Minecraft pumpkin to top it. You can make the shape in any direction you want but the layout is crucial. There should be air in every corner of the 9x9-square space.
Related: How to make the most effective Minecraft XP farm
They will then spawn in villages. Villagers are able to summon an Iron Golem when they are worried or gossiping. We're not certain about how gossip can trigger an Iron Golem, but it isn't working in real life, so perhaps it's not worth giving too much thought.
Finally, you can also find Iron Golems in pillager outposts. In this instance, they're found inside cages having been taken captive by pillagers. The good news is that you can get them out of them, and they'll help you in removing the pillagers in the area which makes them extremely powerful allies.
What is an Minecraft Iron Golem and how do you use it?
An Iron Golem can be described as a neutral mob but serves a crucial function. The primary function of these incredible things is to protect villagers however, they can also protect you in most circumstances. They are also extremely kind and generous, often providing poppies to the villagers they can make magically with their hands.
Apart from that, they tend to spend a lot of their time wandering around the villages they guard, or even standing guard around. They also don't take any falls, and they aren't able to drown (though they stay clear of water when it's possible) and will hunt down the most hostile Minecraft mobs within 16 blocks of themselves. A word of warning though should you cause trouble to the community they're living in, they could be a permanent threat to you. These powerful creatures will be your adversaries if you attain -15 popularity. You won't see any poppies.
Here is the list of Minecraft mobs that an Iron Golem will attack on sight:
- Blaze - Chicken Jockey Drowned - Enderman - Endermite - Giant - Guardian - Elder Guardian - Hoglin - Magma Cube Phantom - Piglin - Piglin Brute Shulker - Silverfish - Spider - Cave Spider - Spider Jockey - Vex - Evoker - Ilusioner - Pillager - Ravager Vindicator, Witch, Wither - Zombie Husk Zombie Villager Zombified Piglin Zoglin Zoglin
Iron Golem farm
Do you want to mine iron from gentle giants? We won't judge you. There are a myriad of ways to accomplish this however, here's our preferred method.
You need to craft killing pits that are filled with lava, with water streams running towards it. You'll need to construct your basic Minecraft village over the pit that you are killing. You can create your village using a few floating beds, a few cauldrons, and a few blocks to prevent them from falling off or escaping. A threat like zombies in the vicinity is necessary. Put one in a cauldron or composter and place it where the villagers can be able to see. To be able to panic, you'll need at minimum one villager. However the villagers must be capable of sleeping and doing their work. This is easier if you're playing in 1.16 because your villagers aren't required to be able to work.
Related Information: Everything we know about Minecraft 1.18's release date
To stop your bizarre suspended village from getting illuminated by the sun, you'll need a large roof. Also, make sure your Iron Golem doesn't spawn in your village. Instead, it will spawn close to the pit. To accomplish this, you must ensure that all your surfaces don't meet the requirements to allow the Iron Golem to spawn: buttons on the top, hollow blocks or blocks with nothing underneath them are the best way to go.
All of this is to say that the Iron Golem will spawn on the ground, move towards the suspended zombie, get stuck in the lava pit and then die. You can put a hopper, some chests and it will devour all resources.

Getting to know your Mutuals better
Relationship status:
Single
Favorite colour:
Big fan of red, blue and purple. Kinda basic, but that's just simply what my brain decided on.
Something I want right now:
I want to pass all my upcoming final exams with hopefully good grades. After that, I would like to have enough courage to enlist into university and get a spot. And for the love of God, please make my knee stop hurting.
Song stuck in my head:
"Don't let the lights go out" by Panic! At the Disco.
Three favorite foods:
Sushi, Pasta with spinach sauce and salmon fish sticks.
Last song I listened to:
Currently still listening to
Last thing I googled:
"Minecraft hostile mob list" my friend and I are currently trying to get the achievement "Monster Hunter" and we where confused which the last mob is we have to kill because we both were pretty sure we were done and killed all hostile mobs but not the Zoglin apparently counts for this achievement but the Warden doesn't...
Dream Trip:
Would love to visit the UK again. Technically, I've been there last summer, but I didn't get to do nearly anything of the things I wanted to do simply because I didn't have enough time.
Tagging: Again @zukks-dummy-mansion and anyone reading this. No pressure tho.

thoughts on best and worst minecraft mob
ok since i am full of love. i am going to pick Several of the bests.
BEST MC MOBS:
cat- THEIR CUTE LITTLE NOISES ?? TEY FOLOOW U AROUND AND LOOK AT U? BRING U THINGS?? PURR ANS SLEEP WITH U?? IMPERVIOUS TO FALL DAMAGE??? i have literally sat AFK in a room full of mc cats for HOURS to just chill with them (my irl cats usually gravitate towards the meowing also). 12/10 mob experience
shulker- (shulker noises) WHAT ANGRY LITTLE FUCKED UP CLAMS!!! LOVE THAT FOR THEM
Villagers- these mobs are very practical and can be very amusing :) i enjoy keeping enough of them to lag myself to ashes
endermite- this is probably my favorite hostile mob. theyre INCREDIBLY funny to me. theyre like a small angry dog. really, who do they think they are? a lil Guy? a small tiny Man? who hisses and bites and does nothing? i am ENAMOURED. i spawn these for entertainment purposes when i have spare pearls.
creeper- these utterly strange creatures are so impressive because of how far into lategame they can strike pure terror into a player's heart. i commend them for this ability!
piglins- theyre just SO maddeningly interesting! what tragic implications of these sweet, floppy-eared guys! adore them!
wither skeletons- haha tall (points and laughs). they are also really cool!
ok now for the worst mob!!
ok i am still indecisive turns out. so! husks, witches, phantoms, and cave spiders fuckign suck. i must not be a fan of poison damage. also endermen can be annoying and zoglins make me so sad :( [i just want a bigole pet piggy not some sort of tormented creature D:]
(honorary mention for chickens bc i think theyre funny to kill.)

Minecraft Mobs List All Hostile, Neutral, Passive, and Tameable Mobs In Minecraft
There's a staggering amount of mobs in Minecraft as of 1.18 It's best to learn as much about them as you can to ensure that you handle each one with care.
Below is the complete list of Minecraft mobs, animals and creatures, starting with the basic Chicken, all the way up to legendary monsters like the Ender Dragon and even upcoming mobs such as Frogs, Allays and the Warden.
Minecraft mobs list
Since its beginning around the time of the 2010s Minecraft has come a far. There's now a total of 73 mobs available in Minecraft (with more to come in Minecraft 1.19! Each mob's behavior and appearance is very different from the others. SKIN NIGHT Below, I've listed every mob in the game, classified based on whether they are neutral, passive or hostile to the player.
Passive mobs are groups of people who do not attack the player even if the player attempts to attack them first. The majority of these mobs are harmless animals that will run away when attacked, or approached in some cases. Here is a complete list of all Passive mobs. You will find a list of all breedable, tameable and riding passive mobs.
Axolotl - Bat - Cat - Chicken - Cod - Cow - Donkey - Fox - Glow Squid - Horse - Mooshroom -- Mule - Ocelot - Parrot - Pig - Piglin (baby) -- Polar Bear (baby) (baby) Pufferfish - Rabbit - Salmon Sheep Skeleton Horse - Snow Golem - Squid - Strider - Tropical Fish - Turtle Villager Wandering Trader Frog (upcoming mob, arriving with Minecraft 1.19 update) Allay (upcoming mob, coming with Minecraft 1.19 update)
Breedable mobs
- Axolotl - Cat - Chicken - Cow Donkey - Fox Horse - Mooshroom - Ocelot - Pig - Rabbit - Sheep Skeleton Horse - Strider - Turtle Villager Mule - can be bred from horse and donkey but it isn't able to breed
Tameable mobs
- Cat - Donkey - Horse - Mule — Parrot - Skeleton Horse Fox - Fox is not really tame but will "trust” the player - Ocelot Ocelot is not actually tame , but will "trust the player
Rideable mobs
- Donkey - Horse - Pig - Mule - Skeleton Horse - Strider
In the event of a crisis the mobs that are neutral can be hostile or passive towards players. Below, I've listed next to each mob how they are provoked into becoming hostile.
Bee - provoked by being attacked or beehive damaged, attacks only one Cave Spider – hostile if at low light Dolphin - provoked to attack when it is viewed as Enderman and provoked to attack if attacked Llama (adult) and Polar Bear (adult). - provoked to attack Polar Bear (adult), attacks only once Polar Bear (adult), if provoked by any player wearing 1+ Gold Armor pieces Panda. The hostile (low light Wolf) Zombified if provoked Piglin
Hostile mobs will always target nearby players if they can. These mobs are just plain stupid.
- Blaze - Blaze Chicken Jockey Creeper - Drowned - Elder Guardian - Endermite - Evoker - Ghast - Guardian - Hoglin - Husk - Magma Cube - Phantom - Piglin Brute - Pillager - Ravager - Ravager Jockey Shulker - Silverfish - Skeleton - Skeleton Horseman Slime - Spider Jockey Stray - Vex Vindicator - Witch - Wither Skeleton - Zoglin Zombie Zombie Villager Warden (upcoming mob, launching with Minecraft 1.19 update)
Minecraft boss mobs
There are currently two "boss mobs" in Minecraft. These are powerful creatures that have their own health bars, and they are currently the most dangerous enemies in Minecraft - except obviously the players you'll encounter on PvP Minecraft servers.
Ender Dragon Wither
You'll need to be prepared to defend yourself from Minecraft many mobs, whether you're facing Endermen or Guardians or other hostile animals like Polar Bears. Make sure you have the right equipment. Take a look at our guides on Diamonds and Netherite to help you locate them. Also, check out our guide on how you can make potions to boost your combat skills. You can also add more mobs to Minecraft's world by checking out our list of Minecraft mods or changing the appearance of mods already in use by using the most effective Minecraft texture pack.

my fucking zoglin despawned in my minecraft world i’m gonna kms. rip kerfuffle, she will be missed :(

Text
In Minecraft, when my daughter starts messing with my buildings, I switch on creative and fill her house up with frogs.
It's funny because they are harmless, but noisy and annoying. And you have to kill each frog one by one to get rid of them.
(Turns out Zoglins will attack them, but she doesn't know that yet and neither do most other casual players.)
I was feeling especially petty after she decided she was going to do a bunch of "renovations" to the house I was building the other week.
So I crouched to hide my tag and tunneled under her house. Cleared out a huge room under it. Then I walled it off from the tunnel except for one block and chucked frogs in there for a few minutes until it couldn't hold any more and I blocked it off.
That way when she came to her house she heard the frogs, but didn't see any.
This annoyed her after a while. So she digs down to get the stupid frogs. And it releases a geyser of amphibians.
This girl loves to mess with me. So she decided that she was going to come live with me and take over my house since it didn't sound like frogs. Which was fine. I had my fun and I didn't want to tell her how to clear out frogs just yet.
But then she started redecorating.
So when she was out exploring or messing with villagers or whatever, I dug a pit under her bed and filled it with frogs.
Tumblr media
Over the frog pit, I placed a zoglin.
Then I put the floor back together and replaced the bed. When she came back from exploring we turned survival back on. And I went out.
She tried to sleep in her bed. But there were monsters nearby. And she could hear those fucking frogs again. So she digs up the floor under the bed and ZOGLIN ATTACK!
This kills her because she's not ready. No sword in hand or armor or anything.
Tumblr media
Because it was in her bedroom and she used her bed, it was her respawn point. Which meant every time she respawned, it was in her own bedroom with no weapons or armor and an angry zoglin who had her trapped in a death loop.

classifying mobs 4
im back! time for pt 4! today we will discuss piglins, aquatics and enders!
(camel here. it seems i forgot the piglin bosses from minecraft legends. i forgot to add them to the boss/mini boss category. sry bout that!)
the piglins are.... a weird bunch. we wont talk about Sus scrofa domesticus (average pigs), we will talk abt Sus scrofa carnivora (the scientific name i gave to the piglin/hoglins). being able walk on two feet, intelligent and have a love of gold, the piglins are a iconic bunch. reminiscent of orcs from modern fantasy, they carry weapons made of cold and are deadly in a group. lets take a look.
Sus scrofa carnivora/piglins and hoglins: fungus thrower, piglin, piglin hunter, zombifies fungus thrower, zombified piglin, zombified piglin hunter, hoglin, unstoppable tusk, ancient piglin/fungus thrower/hunter, blaze runt, brute, clanger, lava launcher, mace runt, piglin builder, pigmadillo, portal guard, seeker, spore medic, spore back, war boar, the great og, the beast, the devourer, the unbreakable, ancient hoglin, the seer, pigman, zombie pigman, zoglin.
next are cephalopods and aquatics creatures. they are the squids, ocotpuses, cuttle fish, guardians and more of the minecraft world. lets do this.
aquatics: squids, glow squids, guardians, elder guardians, barnacle, crab, wave whisperer, tropical slime, fishes, clam, eponymous squid, and more.
finally the enders. no given name to these silly bois so i gave them a scientific name based on the human turned into enderman theory (the scientific name will only include humanoid enders.) meet: Homo enderian.
enders: enderman, ender dragon, shulker, endermite, blastling, snareling, watchling, endersent, the swarm, the watcher of the end, heart of ender, vengeful heart of ender, imperfect heart of ender, ancient enderman (looming doom), icy ender creeper and giant enderman.
ok bonus. this is a weird one but a short one.
humanoids: villagers, illagers, NPC, monster, mob of me, beast boy, black steve, rana, steve, rascal, pigman, piglins, ray tracing, mobbo, minecraft dungeons heroes, (they exist in the lore) steve villager hybrid (found in the original wiki), warrior.
see you in pt 5!
