I LOVE THIS PROMPT OMG
NOT YOUR BRO ✮ e!42 miles x fem reader
Tumblr media
You and Miles were in the kitchen helping Rio cook dinner. Halfway through making dinner, Rio had to make an emergency stop at the grocery store, claiming that she’d forgotten the most crucial ingredient in the recipe.
“You kids stay here and finish up dinner while I go grab the onions,” She said, quickly taking off her apron and grabbing her purse.
“Mami I’ll go, it’s not safe out there right now,” Miles interjected.
Rio shook him off, “It’s just across the street Mijo, you stay here and help y/n with dinner,” And with that, Rio was gone.
A comfortable silence fell upon the kitchen as you and Miles continued to make dinner, that was until Miles began to cut the tomatoes…
“Bro what are you doing! You’re gonna cut yourself!” You cried, quickly grabbing the knife from Miles’ hand. “That’s not how you hold a knife Miles, you have to grip it tighter,” You scolded, before demonstrating to him how to cut the tomatoes.
Miles stared at you blankly, not even paying attention to what you were saying, “Hey are you even listening to me right now Miles?” You asked annoyed.
“What’d you call me earlier?” Miles asked completely ignoring your question.
“Miles that’s not important right now I’m trying to teach-”
Miles began to walk towards you until your back was to the kitchen counter, he was towering over you. You looked up at him with concerned eyes.
“What was it that you called me earlier huh? Your bro?” Miles leaned in closer, your faces only a few inches apart, “I’m not your bro y/n.”
You stayed silent, not knowing what to say to Miles’ sudden outburst. He chuckled, “Wow baby, now you decide to be silent, huh?”
“Tell me what I am y/n.”
“Y-You’re my boyfriend Miles.”
“Now that wasn’t so hard to say, was it? I better not catch you calling me bro again ma,” He said before leaning in for a kiss.
Suddenly the apartment door busted open and in came Rio, “MILES COME HELP ME WITH THE GROCERIES.”
a/n: i hope this was good!! feel free to request me shit

The Boy Is Mine
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Miles Morales x Black Fem Spider-person Reader v Gwen Stacy.
Summary: He saved you and She didn’t want to and maybe she was right because the boy is now yours.
WARNINGS: Fighting, bad words, I think that’s it.
A/n: I was tied!!! Of seeing Miles cheat with Gwen so I took matters into my own hands. This is probably one of the best stories I’ve ever written too so don’t skip. I had so much fun writing this.
Tumblr media
For the past 2 years, you've been the one and only Spider-woman. Everyone knows the story by now, bitten by a radioactive spider, and now you spend your time protecting the city. Everything was going great. Or that's what you wanted to believe as you fought Wilson Fisk, a person who is supposed to be behind bars. This Wilson was different - bigger, stronger, he was giving you a run for your money.
"What have they been feeding you at the Raft, Willie?" You quipped as you dodged a punch. "Haha, missed me," you said, landing a punch combo to his jaw.
"You stupid spiders are always in the way," he said, managing to catch you off guard, knocking you back. This fight is definitely gonna take a while.
"Who are you anyway, where's Spider-Man?" Fisk asked, walking menacingly toward you as you lay on the floor to catch a breath.
"I don't get paid enough for this," you said, getting up, squaring up with the large man.
Spider-Man, what are you talking about, Fisk?" You asked the man leaping backwards, dodging all of his hits.
"Enough of this talk, this ends now," Fisk said, running toward you. You charged back, your fist balled, about to strike, but he dodged and caught you by your throat.
"Another spider under my belt," Fisk said, laughing as he squeezed your throat. Gasping for air, you tried your best to break free from his grip, but your vision began to fade out. Your strength left you, and your eyes began to close. All you wanted to do was sleep, but you blinked your eyes again. Maybe you were hallucinating from the lack of oxygen, but a portal with glowing lights appeared, and two other spider personas flew forward, knocking Fisk out. You dropped to the floor, gasping for air, but still fainted in the process.
You probably weren't out for long, but you heard faint voices, a female and a male.
"What do we do, Gwen? We can't just leave her here."
"Miles, what are we supposed to do? We can't take her back to HQ."
You were too weak to actually open your eyes to see who was talking. Too weak to stop them from kidnapping you and taking you to wherever HQ was. You tried to let out a small groan, but it was useless.
"That's exactly what we need to do, Gwen. She needs medical care."
"Ughhh.... Fine, you grab her."
You heard footsteps move towards you, and your body being lifted before you succumbed to the darkness around you again.
✨HQ✨
Your bloodshot eyes shot open as you sat up, feeling around for your mask that wasn't on your face. You heard the fast-paced beeping of a heart monitor, letting you know your heart rate was up as you ripped all the pads off of you, standing ready to leave the room before two people came walking inside. You immediately got in defense mode as you studied them - an older man in a blue suit with a spider on the front, and a younger boy about your age in a black suit, also with a spider on the front.
"Where the fuck am I, and who are you?" you said, pointing.
"Welcome to HQ, Spiderwoman. I'm Spider-Man, and he's Spider-Man. Glad you survived. Miles, I'll leave you to it," the older man in the blue suit said, walking away.
Miles walked closer to you, setting off your spider senses. You closed one of your eyes, moving your head to the side, resting your hand on your head. "Don't come any closer," you said.
You're probably not used to that, but you're like me, it does that sometimes. I'm Miles.
"Yeah, I got that from earlier," you said, flopping back on the hospital cot, still very much in pain.
Miles wasn't in the room when they took off your mask, so this was the first time he saw your face. He scanned every detail of your face, taking in the way your plump lips formed into a natural pout, or maybe that was just because you were in pain. The way your brown eyes sparkled under the bright white light, he couldn't help but be captivated by your gaze. He loved your braids and the way your pink beads rattled every time you moved.
Miles felt something stir in the pit of his stomach the longer he looked at you. Maybe it was just gas from the spicy food he ate earlier, he thought, in denial of the growing attraction he felt for a stranger.
"Well, aren't you gonna tell me your name?" Miles finally mustered the courage to ask.
You turned to face him, the pain momentarily forgotten as you observed his silly smirk. You weren't usually the friendliest person, but there was something about Miles that felt different, something that made you want to open up.
"I'm Y/n," you replied, a small smile tugging at the corner of your lips.
Nice to meet you Y/n," Miles said, offering his hand. You looked at it. "I'd shake your hand, but I'm in too much pain right now," you said, causing both of you to laugh. There it was, that fluttering feeling in the pit of Miles' stomach again as he watched a beautiful smile grace your face.
"So, what is this place and why am I here?" you asked Miles, curiosity shining in your eyes. "This is the Spider Society. We brought you here because you were in bad shape from fighting Fisk," Miles explained. You coughed a bit. "Yup, he whooped my ass," you said, making both you and Miles burst into laughter again.
Unbeknownst to the two of you, Gwen stood outside the door, her eyes fixed on the scene unfolding inside. With each word you said to Miles, with each chuckle you elicited from him, the flames of jealousy ignited within her. Unable to bear it any longer, she burst into the room, startling both you and Miles.
"What the fuck? You didn't even have to do all that, shawty," You exclaimed. Miles stood up, a look of surprise on his face. "Gwen, this is Y/n, Spider-woman, the one we helped," he explained, pointing toward you.
"Oh, hi. I'm glad you're okay," Gwen said, her words laced with a hint of insincerity.
This your girl Miles ?" You asked.
"No, no." They both said in unison dragging their o's. It was obvious to you that there was more to the story by the way she busted into the room but that was none of your business.
"Well, it was nice to meet you, Y/n. We should get going," Gwen said, gently tugging Miles towards the door.
Before leaving, Miles tossed you a watch that you effortlessly caught. "Maybe we can see each other again," he said, a glimmer of hope in his eyes. You smiled, watching him walk away.
"Hmmm," you hummed, examining the watch before clasping it onto your wrist. "Maybe we will, Spider-Man."
As Gwen and Miles made their way through the headquarters, Miles couldn't ignore Gwen's evident distress. He studied her face and body language. He called out to her, "Gwen?"
Getting no response, Miles tried a sing-songy voice, calling her name once more. "What, Miles?" she replied, her voice tinged with bitterness.
"I know you're upset. Do you want to talk or not?" Miles asked, genuinely wanting to understand what was bothering her.
"Why don't you go talk to Y/n?"
"Gwen, are you serious? I barely know her, but she's a cool girl," Miles defended, trying to reassure her.
"Oh, she's cool now?" Gwen's tone dripped with sarcasm and doubt.
Miles gently reached for Gwen's hand, stopping her in her tracks, making her face him directly. "Look, Gwen, you don't have to worry about her, okay?" he said softly.
Gwen's expression softened, and she nodded, a flicker of trust returning to her eyes. "Alright, Miles. She said giving him a small punch to the shoulder.
✨The Mission✨
You were back in your dimension 2 days post fight with Fisk feeling good as new. You were in bed, examining the watch Miles gave you, when a hologram of a woman appeared, making you scream.
"Oh hey there new recruit, I'm Lyla," she said, waving.
"Hi... Lyla," you said slowly, waving back.
"Sorry to scare you, but the boss needs you at HQ, your first mission... Yayyyy, so suit up," she said before disappearing.
"Uh, okay," you said, slipping into your skintight suit and mask, slapping on your watch, struggling to find out how to get it to work because no one gave you a tutorial. But you managed using your genius brain and stepped through the portal, gracefully landing in a dark room with monitors.
"Great, you're here......Miles!" the man you were familiar with but never got his name called out.
From the shadows, Miles emerged with a smile on his face. "Good to see you again, Mamita," he said.
"Oh, we're using pet names now?" you said, matching his flirty energy.
"That's enough," Miguel said as he stood before you two. "Anomaly in Earth 746, catch it."
"Anomaly?" you questioned.
"I'll tell you all about it later," Miles said, grabbing your hand, opening a portal, and pulling you through.
You dusted off your hands. The mission went well, a little too well, especially for a Goblin mission.
"You're pretty good, Miles."
"You too, Mamita. Gotta say, I doubted you a little after the Fisk fight," he teased.
"Oh, whatever," you said, rolling your eyes, chuckling a bit.
You moved closer to Miles, mere inches between you two, as you ran your fingers along his jawline.
Miles' breath hitched as you touched him, his hazel eyes expressing the tension between you two. There was no denying that Miles was handsome, and you were eager to learn more about him.
"So what dimension are you from, Papa?" you asked playfully, a flirtatious smile gracing your lips.
"1610. Maybe we could go there?" Miles responded, his voice filled with anticipation.
"Take a girl on a date first, Miles," you laughed, teasing him gently.
"No, I didn't mean it like that. I..." Miles stammered, trying to explain himself.
"I would love to see your dimension, Miles," you interrupted, cutting him off.
And so, Miles took you to his dimension.
"This is Brooklyn." Miles said as you two stood atop the Williamsburg Bank building, you marveled at the city below. It was similar to your own home, yet distinctly different. Miles watched in awe as your eyes sparkled at the city, feeling a flutter in his stomach.
"It's beautiful, Miles," you whispered, taking a seat to soak in the view.
He walked forward and sat beside you, his face beaming with joy. You turned towards him, a warm smile on your lips.
"So, what's your story, big head?" you asked, playfully leaning on him.
"My story?" Miles responded, a hint of surprise in his voice.
"You're Spider-Man, Miles. What's your origin?" you asked , curious him.
"You know, regular Spider-Man stuff. I gained my powers and now I fight bad guys," Miles answered, a humble tone in his voice.
"That's not what I meant," you said, giving him a small shove. "What's the real story? I was bitten by a radioactive spider too, two years ago on a field trip to Oscorp. Your world doesn't seem to have Oscorp." You sighed, frustration and sadness mixing in your voice. "I got these crazy powers that I didn't know what to do with, so I decided to keep them a secret and pretend that I was a regular kid."
The weight of your words hung heavy in the air as you choked up, memories flooding back. Miles noticed your distress and perked up. "It's okay, you don't have to share if you don't want to," he said, trying to comfort you.
But something compelled you to open up, to let go of the burden you had been carrying alone for so long. You rested your hand gently on top of his. "I pretended to be some regular kid, and that led to me losing my mom. And from then on, I decided to help everyone else," you finished.
Miles's heart stung as he listened to your story. "I lost someone close to me too, my uncle Aaron. He was shot saving me," he shared, the pain evident in his voice.
A sense of understanding and connection washed over you both. You leaned your head on his shoulder. "See, that's your story, Papa," you said softly, appreciating the bond that formed between you. "You know, Miles, it's so nice to have someone to talk about this stuff with now," you added, gazing at the sun setting on the horizon.
That moment solidified your blooming relationship with Miles. Whenever you had free time, you would pop into his dimension, and vice versa. Now, in your suit, you found yourself in dimension 1610, patiently waiting for Miles to catch up as you swung through the bustling city.
"Keep up, Miles," you teased, a mischievous glint in your eyes as you effortlessly jumped from building to building, landing with grace. The two of you were headed back to his house, where Jeff and Rio, his parents, adored you and had grown fond to your presence after all the time you spent with Miles.
They couldn't wrap their head around the whole different dimension thing and just assumed Miles' imagination had run wild. You two walked through his front door.
"Hey Mama Rio," you greeted Miles' mom.
"Hey Mija."
"Hey Mom," Miles said, hugging his mom before the two of you walked into his room. You two were too caught up in conversation to notice a guest. Gwen. She cleared her throat, making you two snap your attention towards her.
"Gwen, hey," Miles said nervously. "What are you - what are you doing here?"
"I came to see you because I barely see you anymore, but now I know why," Gwen answered.
You snickered a bit, knowing you essentially snatched Miles from Gwen.
"Oh, that's funny?" Gwen asked.
You threw your hands up in surrender, not wanting to get into it with her.
"We were about to watch a movie, order some pizza. You can stay if you want," Miles offered to pacify Gwen, but he was hoping she'd turn it down. He cherished his alone time with you.
"No, it's fine, Miles. I'll leave," Gwen said with a hint of frustration in her voice.
"Uh, okay. Bye," Miles said
"Bye, Gwendolyn," you added, unable to hide the small smirk on your face.
Gwen turned to you and asked, "You know what, can we talk outside, Y/n?"
Rolling your eyes, you agreed, "Sure, why not?" You grabbed Miles' hand, signaling for him to come along.
"Alone," Gwen insisted, her tone unwavering.
"Okay... I'll be back, papa," you said to Miles, giving him a smile and a pat on the cheek.
As you followed Gwen out of the window and onto the roof, you could feel the tension building up. Once you reached a secluded corner, she turned to face you, arms folded.
"What is your problem?" she asked, her voice filled with accusation.
"Girl, what are you talking about?" you answered defensively.
"Miles," she replied, her tone laced with frustration.
"What about him? He's fine, great even," you said, walking closer to her.
"Don't play dumb, Y/n," Gwen snapped.
"What are you getting at, Gwen?" you said, your tone becoming pointed as you grew tired of the conversation.
"He's mine, Y/n, and you're trying to steal him away," her voice filled with possessiveness.
You couldn't help but burst into laughter. "Yours?" you asked, shaking your head. "Gwen, you lost him the day you two saved me."
As the words left your mouth, the truth hung heavy in the air. Gwen had been holding onto her feelings for Miles while pretending everything was okay. But deep down, she knew that the connection between you and Miles was undeniable.
What you didn't see coming was a slap across your face from Gwen, not thinking she was bold enough to do it. The sting of her actions lingered in the air as shock resonated through your entire being. And what Gwen didn't see was Miles, camouflaged and watching you two from a distance. He didn't hear anything you two talked about, but he sure did see the slap.
As the pain subsided, you didn't retaliate. Deep down, you and Gwen both knew that you had won this battle, that Miles was now dedicated to you.
"Why would you do that, Gwen?" You heard a voice behind you, and turned to see Miles standing there, his eyes filled with disappointment.
You watched in satisfaction as Gwen's eyes widened, realizing that she had not only hurt you but also jeopardized her chances with Miles. She had unknowingly made it even easier for you to snatch his affection away from her.
"Miles, I..." Gwen stammered, unable to find the right words to justify her actions.
"Why would you hit her?" Miles asked, his voice filled with a mix of anger and hurt.
"You didn't hear what she said, Miles. She's trying to tear us apart. You were mine," Gwen spewed out, desperately clinging to her fading hopes.
"Yours? I'm not some object, Gwen," Miles retorted, his voice laced with disappointment. "Is that why you brought her outside? To hit her?"
A heavy silence hung in the air as Gwen struggled to find an explanation, her words failing her. The truth had been laid bare, and Miles saw her for who she truly was.
"Save it, Gwen," Miles said, his voice firm. "You just showed me the type of person you really are. I've been pining after you for months, and you always brushed me off. But now, now I have someone who actually likes me back."
With those words, he took your hand, intertwining your fingers with his.
You looked at Gwen, a smug look on your face as you squeezed Miles' hand tighter.
"You don't mean that, Miles."Gwen said.
"Yes, I do," Miles turned to you. "She likes me back, and she's the most caring, sweetest, funniest person in this dimension and every other," Miles said, making you tear up a bit, your lip bottom poking out.
"You're so cute when you do that," Miles said.
Gwen watched as her heart slowly broke. She had played with Miles, but now she had lost the game. She wanted to look away, but she couldn't. She should be the one he said all those things to. The tears pricked her eyes.
"Y/n, will you be my girlfriend?" The words echoed in Gwen's head, the final blow that made her tears roll down her face.
"Of course, I will, papa," you said, jumping on Miles and giving him a tight hug before pulling back and giving him a big kiss, your first one in front of his former crush.
You and Miles turned to Gwen, watching as she continued to cry.
"You should go, Gwen," you said, your heart aching a bit for the girl, but not a lot.
Miles grabbed your hand as the two of you walked off toward the stairwell, leaving Gwen behind.

"MAMI, PLEASE, IAN MEAN IT LIKE THAT."
The way your glossy eyes roll to the back of your head only further induce your oncoming headache, but you don’t care. Something about your boyfriend elevating his tone at you made you crumble, brown irises boring into his own as he pleaded for you to listen.
You hear him breathe softly, and then he picks at the calloused skin of his thumb as his mouth contorts into an almost-pout. It’s apologetic, you think— by the way his eyebrows are furrowed and his face somberly melts into a softer expression, contrasted to his normal stoic one. But his look isn’t enough. You want something verbal, something pleading, something so desperate for your forgiveness that it’ll be inevitable for your answer to be ‘Yes, Miles, you didn’t do anything wrong and I would love for us to be back to normal.’
But that’s not what you were getting.
Instead, he had yelled at you, and not just a normal yell, one that he would normally let out if you were pestering him or were about to run into an unknown danger. No— this yell was authentic and real, raw, on purpose. And his lips still couldn’t find themselves to say that he were sorry.
The argument wasn’t even your fault, and Miles had told you so, therefore it was verified that you weren’t in the wrong and that it was just some huge misunderstanding. Your phone had been left unlocked on the kitchen counter, and Miles being Miles, he picked the device up and snapped a couple of stupid pictures when he saw a notification pop up.
malachi: Yo u still wit yo man? I was thinking we go get sum to eat. Lmk!
It didn’t take a rocket scientist to know that the message wasn’t from another girl, it was from a man. So he angrily swiped the device up and waltzed up to you, waving the florescent screen back in forth in your face, accusing you of cheating.
“YN, what the fuck? Why you tryna go out with this nigga, huh? He hittin’ it or sum’? Shoulda known you had me buyin’ them lil’ dresses for other reasons.”
Your shoulders dropped at him, tears clouding your unfocused vision as Miles’ words circulated in your head, swarming your conscience with emotions that you were unable to decipher yourself.
“Mami—“
“Don’t call me that.” You seethed, “It’s not what you called me when you was accusin’ me of lyin’ and cheatin’, right?”
“Ay, Dios Mío.” Miles mumbled, his footsteps filling your ears as he drew closer to you. He wanted to reach out to you, to pull you close and kiss your cheeks, but he just stood idly in front of you as he watched you cry.
It was almost like he was stuck. Guilt, maybe?
But either way, the effort was still vacant. His actions weren’t just mundane, he was shaking your phone at you angrily, spit flying and hands snapping as he tried to grab ahold of the messy situation. And what he realized what he had done, his mouth ran dry, eyes fluttering closed as he cursed underneath his breath.
What he didn’t know was that you were speaking to your friend’s boyfriend, and when he said ‘we’— he meant the four of you, Miles included. He was trying to set up a double date at a restaurant and wanted to confirm if you were with Miles to insure that you guys were on.
A stupid mistake.
A mistake so ignorant that it drove you to raise your hand at him, withdrawing it before slapping him on the cheek, hard. The sting that blossomed throughout your hand spoke of triumph, that he truly got what deserved, and your lips nearly curled into a smile when you heard him wince in pain.
You didn’t want him hurt, you just wanted him to understand what happens when you assume stupid shit. He turned around slowly to look at you, left hand massaging the flesh of his cheek as he gave you apologetic eyes.
It all feels like an emotional whiplash now.
“Get out.”
You finally spoke, lips trembling and hands balling at your sides so tight you were sure your fingers would snap.
“Baby, please, can we just talk about this?”
“Get the fuck out, Miles!” You shouted at him, body forcefully colliding with his as your hands met his shoulders, pushing him into the woodwork of your front door. He opens it without hesitation, fingers curling around the doorknob shakily as he walked through the doorway.
You hold the door and shove him, your boyfriend stumbling down the porch steps as you cock your head to the side,
“And don’t come back.”
With that, you slam the door.
Tumblr media
It’s been three days since you’ve seen your boyfriend.
Which is extremely out of the ordinary.
He’s texted you numerous times, your phone nearly exploding from how often it rang with new texts or phone calls. You didn’t answer, you couldn’t, Miles’ words still prodding at your heart strings as you tried to go on about your morning.
Your bright pink polo slides it’s way over your head, thick curls bouncing against your shoulders as you smoothed out a tiny wrinkle at the collar, eyes picking apart your outfit in the mirror.
A flick of your wrist tells you that you’re nearly late for work, so you swipe up your phone and purse and make your way outside, strutting to your car as you drove to your shop.
You opened your own pink themed, healthy cafe a couple months before you and Miles started dating. It was a real hotspot— business booming more than ever in the hot, humid summer of Brooklyn. People mostly ordered juice or açaí bowls, which you didn’t mind because it was your personal favorite on the menu and you recommended it to anyone who waltzed into your shop.
Pulling up, you stepped out of your vehicle and opened the door, greeting your employees with a flutter of your fingers and a superficial smile painted on your face. You were broken on the inside and it was a fact that even you couldn’t deny, and no amount of concealer and fake grins could conceal that.
“Everything OK, girl?” One of your employees chirped at you over the loud sound of a blender. And you just shrugged at her, faux smile still possessive over your lips, persuasion eventually casting her spell on your favorite girls as you covered your sadness up with ‘I’m just tired.’
Opening was running smoothly, and you were calming working register when you heard the sweet bells above your front door chime.
“Welcome i-“
Your sentence fades, dying off as you see your boyfriend walk through the door, walking up to the counter that you were standing behind.
“Can I get a matcha and that toast with the…what is that…the green shit on it?”
You grit your teeth at him, “Miles, what the hell are you doing here?”
He didn’t say anything, he just grabbed your hands and squeezed them, “Baby, I know you don’t really wanna see me here, but I need to say sum’, and it’s that I’m sorry. Ian mean what I said, I was dumb, jumpin’ to conclusions and shit. That’s not okay. You my girl and there’s no reason why I was treatin’ you like that. I’m…mami, I’m sorry.”
Miles stares at you, waiting for your rebuttal to his formal apology. No matter how much you wanted to be mad at him in this moment and hold out, you couldn’t by the way his eyes flickered at you, licking his lips as he shot you an apologetic smile.
“Miles….” You started, “What you said really hurt me, I can’t lie to you. But…despite all of that, I forgive you. And y’know, I’m sorry too. I shouldn’t have put my hands on you or nun’ like that. I was just…angry.”
“Understand.” Miles told you, kissing your hand as he gave you a cheeky grin, “I love you, pretty girl.”
“I love you too, asshole.” You giggled as your boyfriend leaned over the counter to deliver a kiss to your cheek, a couple of your coworkers giggling behind the counters, but you didn’t care. You were just ecstatic that you had made up, a laugh tumbling from your throat.
“Y’know, Miles…” You started, earning a hum from your lover.
“I just want you to know, although you be actin’ hard…you’re actually soft as shit.”

Imagine Miles holding your hand while walking through new york city, "What ya wanna buy ma'?" he would say while glancing at you through his lashes. “miles u dont need to-“ you’d tryna say but miles interrupted you by answering “i didnt say u would have a choice mami” while smirking slightly, you sigh and decide to make him satisfied. yall end up with 20 bags in the hands, turning back to home. “ya happy now mami?” he would ask you while chuckling a little, “thats what i would ask you” you giggled at him. when yall returned home, you saw him sitting on your desk, “miles i need to do my homework, can you sit anywhere else?” you'd say to him gently, "ya can sit on my lap" he replied you smirking. “c'mon miles, im being fr” you tried to push him off but it didnt work, so you gave up and sat on his lap. it was now passed 15 minutes and miles in all that time was kissing your neck gently, touching and squeezing your thighs softly, “miles, im trying to concentrate” by your voice you sounded a little desperate. “no puedo ayudar si eres tan hermosa, mami” he would whisper on your ear, while traveling with his hands your waist and your hips. he would turn your face gently and kiss you passionately, your tongues would slide together and fight for who would have the control, it ended by you giving up and making him win, he would chuckle and say between kisses “ya dont know what youre doing to me“, you responded with a soft sigh and when he was leaning closer for another kiss you leaned back. “I really need to finish this homework miles” you placed your hands on his arms, stopping his hands. he would sigh and say “pero apúrate, no sé cuánto tiempo más podré controlarme” he'd answer a little frustrated in the voice.

/|MILES 42 HEADCANNONS P4|\
birthday edition 'cause it was my birthday the 21st and no one rlly cared other than my dad and stepmom <33
Warnings: Idk I'll just put in the warnings here if there are any. In this one the reader is younger than Miles (but turning 15 like him)
Implied female reader ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
If its a school day then he is taking a cupcake with a lil itty baby candle, He took a lighter to light it and got yelled at.
Would use it as an excuse to shower you with gifts or things you wouldn't let him buy you (his family is STRUGGLING, he isn't rich but he still wants you spoiled.)
one hundred percent woulding fucking smoosh your head into the cake. -If you're mexican, that 'Que la muerda' tradition to bite the cake: He would take that chance, if he actually ruins your cake or makeup (if you wear any) then he apologizes a million times and offers to get you a whole new cake + Makeup kisses <3
HE REMEMBERS THE BIRTHDAY, he deadass only watched you put in a school survey where you put in your birthday and remembered since.
He wanted to do that prank where he pretended to not remember or something but it was hard to because of your passive aggressive quips about your birthday/age. Plus, he'd feel bad, knowing others probably wouldn't say or do much anyways.
Scenario (idk angst? just some boohoo about birthdays and Miles lighting it up by being himself) There you were: The day you waited all year for, Your Birthday! Except.. Oh? Mom or Dads alarm didn't go off to make that birthday breakfast that was a tradition at that point, that's fine, I'll have breakfast at school. Damn, it's raining, It's okay! I love the rain.! Fucking hell, the bus is full, never mind that, I'll just uhm.. stand aside in the full bus--getting shoved so people could exit or get on. Finally at scho- FUCK I stepped in a puddle, my sock is now wet in my shoe, It's alright, I'll get over it. Walking into school wanting a fresh vibe: Clothes moist and hair damp. You walk up to your small friend group, Half expecting them to joke about you being old since you were the youngest of the group.. nothing, like a normal day as they tease you for looking so wet from the rain and not a single mention of happy birthday. did they forget? Naw they are probably planning something.. right? Almost lost in thought without your friend group noticing you felt a hand yank your arm which pulled aside and into a warm loving hug. Miles! His comfortable embrace just ignoring how wet you were by the rain because you walked from the bus stop to your school, Visions academy. "Miles, Hey! What's with all th-" Before you could finish your statement he pulls back and opens his backpack to take out a red velvet walmart cupcake along with a small purple wax birthday candle. Still not having said a word but was visibly excited by that silly grin he always had when he knew you were going to love something. He sticks the candle into the icing of the cupcake and pulled out a black lighter to light the candle. "Happy Birthday, Finally, it's tiring to always say my girl is younger." Miles jokes playfully as he holds out the birthday cupcake to you.
If it isn't a school day then you wake up to see a text from Miles: "Hey mami, u up????" "I JUST woke up" "why?" "Get ready, we're going out, I'll be there in about 2 hours" The day followed to being out with Miles, he took you out for breakfast, went with you and your family to birthday lunch and your small family get together at the end of the day, there was not a moment where he wasn't by your side.

the view
pairing : miles morales x gn!reader
word count : 1k
summary : spider-man joins you when pondering life one evening at the top of a building
warnings : swearing
Tumblr media
Your feet dangled above the bustling city of New York. You leaned back on your palms, staring up at the sky and wishing you could see stars instead of the orange glow. You chest felt tight and your eyes were runny. You felt like you needed a breath of fresh air, but even one of the highest buildings in the capital of the state wasn't enough.
"Hey, uh, you okay ?" A voice came from behind you, startling you slightly. You sighed and looked down at your swinging feet, the soles of your shoes reflecting the lights below.
"I'm not going to jump, if that's what you're worried about."
The person behind you moved forward and you heard the faint rustling of fabric as they sat down next to you. You were surprised to find none other than Spiderman sitting bent forward, elbows leaning on his knees at your side. His suit was dirty, gray covering black and red.
"Tough night ?" you asked, noticing the way his eyes dropped and his back hunched.
"You could say that," he spoke softly and paused, as if debating whether to tell you something or not, "three different people tried to kill me in the span of a few hours." You let out a small sigh, not so sure of what to say. No one had ever tried to kill you.
"That sucks,"
"Yeah," he chuckled wetly, "yeah, it really does." You heard his sniff once, white eyes scanning the city below. You wondered what was going through his mind.
You leaned back and laid down, crossing your arms behind your head. Your gaze fixed steadily on the unnatural colour of the sky, making out a few sparse stars. You felt very small. And your problems very big.
"Do you ever feel like it all gets too much ? Kinda like you can't breathe ?" you asked. He laid down next to you, one arm behind his head.
"Like you're never gonna get out of it ? That it's never going to end ?" he paused, "yeah, sometimes."
"How can you feel so small when everything else feels so- huge ? And destructive and consuming ? It doesn't make any sense."
"What's up with you ?" he asked, turning his head to the side. You looked into his white eyes briefly before turning back to the sky.
"Family, money... Life, I guess," you chuckled humourlessly. "My parents have been separated for years now and they're finally getting a divorce. But... I still feel like I'm taking sides or betraying one of them whenever I do something. I hate it. And I just want to protect my brother from all of it. But I also want to move out. Just get the fuck away from all of it, you know ? But I can't bear the thought of leaving him alone." Confessing to him felt strangely freeing.
"That sucks," he repeated your words from earlier.
"Yeah," you let out a small laugh, wiping your eyes, "it does suck,"
"Someone once told me that you have to live your life for you, you can't live it for anyone else. Even for your brother. People... they'll try to fit you into these boxes and tell you what to do, what's expected of you depending on this and that, but fuck that. Fuck it all. You have to do what's best for you, you know ? To hell with the rest of it. You're the only person who's always gonna be by your side, you gotta look out for you, you know what I mean ? Don't mind the rest. Move out if that's what best for you,"
You turned to look at him, eyebrows raised. A tear rolled down your cheek and he wiped it away with his thumb.
"And moving out doesn't mean that you'll never see your brother again, will it ?" he added. You inhaled shakily.
"Yeah, you're right." You wiped your eyes and chuckled. "That was some deep shit, man," He laughed and watched you as you sat up.
"We've all got our demons to slay."
"I'm Y/N, by the way," you extended your hand to him.
"Mi- Spiderman." He shook your hand and grinned at you, thankful you couldn't see his red cheeks at the slip-up.
"What did you come up here for, anyway ?" you asked, genuinely curious.
"Just- came to think. I like to get above it all. It's quiet up here. Like-"
"A breath of fresh air," you spoke. Your eyes locked and he smiled softly.
"Yeah, exactly."
"What do you see when you look up at the sky ?" you asked after a few minutes of silence. You heard him inhale slowly before answering.
"People I've loved. People I've lost. Battles I've lost. Battles I've won. Opportunities I took and ones I didn't."
"I wish you could see the stars," you both spoke simultaneously, before gasping and chuckling.
"And what about when you look down at the city ?"
"Pressure," he answered immediately, "I see people. People that need my help, my saving. People that need me. Some that I won't be able to save,"
"What about the ones you've saved ? Who are thankful for you ? Who owe their lives to you ?" you asked, frowning slightly. Spiderman was quiet for a moment before humming.
"Yeah, you're right,"
"What do you see ?" he asked after a while, the buzzing of the city below filling the comfortable silence.
"I feel incredibly small when I look up at the sky. Like a speck of dust, really. But I like it, it brings me back to reality. And the reality of my life. Despite everything, I'm still privileged, I've got a family who loves me, no serious money problems and good grades at school." He nodded. "When I look down at the city, I realize everyone has problems. Even Spiderman ! It makes me realize I'm not alone, I guess."
He smiled at your answer. "I like that view."
"So do I, I think."
He stood up and brushed himself off. "Well, if you ever wanna share your view again, I'll be here," he assured.
You smiled and nodded. "You got it, Spiderman,"
Little did you know that that was the blossoming of a beautiful friendship.

NY City, Brooklin, Y/N apartment, 02:30am
The live was doing great, I decided to play the sims, a simple challenge, now I just got 4 more subscribers, that really helps a lot, they literally pay my bills, I was planning to cook the dinner but I just decide to buy some sushi, I drank a dr. Pepper, totally healthy.
“ Well guys, thank you for your time, today we ended a bit late but I hope you all enjoyed the live, I’ll cut and post on YouTube for those who missed some parts, bye bye see you next live” I send a kiss to the webcam, and then… it’s over, I needed to stop that live, staying awake till late it’s not good, drinking monster all day, eating junk food, when was the last time that I felt the sunlight, I’m living a bat…
*knock…knock…*
“What the fuck??” I spin the gamer chair to the window, I saw Miles, i get up and open the window for him, the cold wind from the winter entered your bedroom giving you chills.
“Hey mami how you doing?” He hugs you tight, lifting you up and taking your feet off the ground, he simply ignored the cold wind coming from the outside, “Mileees the window!!” “Sorry Y/N” he instantly let your feet reach the ground again and turned back to close that window closing the curtains too, when you focused on his face his nose was bleeding and his right cheek was red almost purple, and he realized that you noticed, he just hide his face under his hands.
“Again Miles? Really? How? What’s the story for today?” “I… got into a fight, with a jock but I…” “I got punched and I fell downstairs, same story from last week so don’t lie to me” “can we just ignore this” he points to his face “ I came here just to forget about all that stuff”
He just lay on my bed, taking deep breaths, he’s been passing through a hard time after loosing his father, getting into fights in school, moving to Harlem now all we got is a couple of hours together once or twice a week, I seat near to him, putting my hand on his head, I start to caress his hair, which was very short making he looks so cute. “You know that you can always count with me right? I’m here for you, ever since the day that we bumped near to the Central Park because I was running to get that dog” “I remember that you started crying because the dog stole your bracelet, was funny” he chuckles “No it wasn’t! I was so sad that day and that dog just made it worse” “I miss you, a lot, all that shit that’s been happening is making me mad, I’m sorry for leaving you, I just couldn’t leave my mom alone”
His eyes, are just like a window to his soul in pain, pure sorrow, I lay on his side holding him to cuddle, my heart beating faster, being near to him like this is good but it still make me blush, “I wish I could have you near me, now I’m feeling lonely at Harlem, you can spend a week there, my mom wouldn’t mind” “Miles i would love it… but…” “but ?” “ never mind haha, I’m free next week, I would love to spend the week with you”
He hug me back and now we’re laying face to face, I only can stare at his lips and same for Miles he just been staring my lips for almost 2 minutes straight, his hand holding my cheek, he looks so hypnotizing, I’m lost in his face, I can only feel his hand is on my cheek, now he’s approaching, so close, so so close, he kiss me, a soft and simple kiss but very meaningful, I just kiss him back, the butterflies on my stomach, “can I stay? It’s too late and I miss you so much” his puppy eyes, staring at me, I can’t resist, “of course you can” “can I sleep with you?” That question caught me off guard, now im the one who hide the face under my hands but his hand that’s on my cheeks try to take my hands off, “c’mon it’s not the first time that we slept together, why are you so awkward about it?” When your face is not covered anymore you can see a slight blush in his cheeks, “I just… like you, that’s why I came here, I was planning to text you but that would be so dishonest, I needed to do it face to face” “Miles just shut up” I instantly kiss him, softly holding his cheeks that are a bit warm, at first he got shocked but one second later he just kiss me back.
We stopped the kiss because we needed to breath, now his hands are around my hips, making imaginary circles with the fingers, “so mister Morales, may you please let me get up so I can get a blanket for us?” “Of course you can my pretty girlfriend” “girlfriend?” I can’t hide that little smile in my face, I’m feeling so happy right now, but I still tired needing to sleep, so yeah, I just loved the idea of sleeping with him. “Yup, girlfriend, or do you want a nickname like, mi vida, cariño, Hermosa, honey, you can choose.” I yawned feeling my eyes getting heavier, “can I choose one later I just want to sleep right now…. Get the blanket please” I can badly keep my eyes open, he kiss my forehead and leave the bed to get the huge blanket in the closet, he come back to the bed and when he realized you’re sleeping, a little shrunk because of the cold, but tight on sight he covered you with warm blanket and sneaking to sleep with you.
That night you sleep so well after almost a week of bad sleep, he made me relax, holding my body with his big hands and long arms, making me fell safe, now that I’m dating him I already have everything that I need, but now I’ll have to move to the Harlem to live near to him.

Part-timer Miles X GN!reader
LOL HI first post, first fanfic I’ll ever post :3 haha i hate this!! (i wrote this at 3-5am.)
Completely not related to itsv, atsv! Just wanted a silly one-shot of Miles working in a record store while being completely awkward with READER!!! YESS!! This can be taken as both platonic AND romantic, whatever you want <3
-
Miles forgetting to bring an umbrella, resulted in being drenched in rain. Reader not knowing it’d rain, resulted in being drenched in rain.
Now you’re both soaked inside a record store alone, being awkward(?) teenagers who both have wet hair.
And miles works part time
Gender Neutral reader !
Warning lollls(not rlly): Misspellings, grammar mistakes💔
————————
Your unplanned plan to go to the record store had been.. Slightly ruined as it had started raining. Your clothes, hair, socks.. everything had been drenched in rain by the time you finally spotted the store.
You hurriedly ran there, not caring about possibly slipping or how there was an obvious place that had provided enough shelter to stay in for a while.
No, you decided against waiting for the rain to stop. You decided to go ahead and check out the new things they had brought in.
Miles stood at the middle of the store, humming quietly as he dried himself. He put the towel down to his neck as he looked at his once dried clothes before sighing.
He thought about how his mother had reminded him about bringing an umbrella, reassuring her he would but ended up rushing over to the store with no umbrella and obviously drenched clothes.
He flinched, screaming a bit as a sudden thud from the entrance caught his attention, snapping him out of his thoughts. He looked behind him, looking over to the entrance as he noticed you.
The raindrops had increased in volume as the rain got heavier. You stood there blankly, not saying a word which Miles copied, not saying a word while you both stared at each other.
Miles broke the eye contest as he looked down to notice rain pouring in before he finally spoke up, “You coming in?”
You stood there for a few more seconds before you register what he said, closing the door behind you as you gave him a thumbs up.
You chuckled awkwardly, “Uh yeah, sorry about that,” you apologised, smiling apologetically as you shrugged, walking a bit forward to get away from the door.
You eyed the pink with white dots towel he had resting over his neck before shrugging it off. Thinking nothing about it starting from the moment you shrugged it off!
Miles nodded, looking at your clothes that clearly have been drenched from the rain. He thought to himself, not wanting to keep hopefully a customer soaked.
He cleared his throat before he replied, “Ahh.. it’s alright, uhm..” He stood even more awkwardly, not knowing what to say in a situation that didn’t even have to be this awkward.
He continued his sentence, “so.. what brings you in here for today? Besides the rain, of course,” he asked, laughing a bit at his last comment before he slowly fell silent and turned fully to face the you.
You nodded, “Just browsing,” you replied, hesitating to walk over to him to check out the records because as we recall.. you’re wet. But still, you’re already here so why not just go? And so you did, not touching anything but you still looked around as he watched you.
The two of you stood there, moving every one or two minutes as both of you almost circled the whole store. The rain and footsteps being the only thing you both hear the whole time you’ve been there.
Miles sighed, still thinking about how he didn’t want to keep a customer, you soaked. But he wasn’t sure if they kept another towel as he’d only seen anyone who had worked there only use one, which was the exact same one that covered his neck.
He bit his lip, not wanting to keep them unattended while also wanting to search for another towel that hadn’t been suffered by him scrubbing his whole body the time he reached the store.
He snapped his finger which caused you to flinch as you looked at him, raising your eyebrow before he spoke up, “Uhh.. I gotta go check something out, you stay here,” He smiled, giving you a thumbs up before you nodded.
He took your nod as a sign to go ahead and search for that towel before he slowly went away. And you were left there, looking around the whole store while you held back from touching anything.
“This sucks,” You muttered as you leaned away from the records, just standing there awkwardly. Forgetting to bring your trusty phone so you just checked the items on the counter out before you sighed loudly.
The dude that just disappeared so suddenly made you wonder what he was checking out while you rested your head on the counter. Tapping the ground with your foot, just badly wanting to dry off, go home and listen to the records you’ve previously bought from this exact store.
But yet here you are, listening to the raindrops while it continued to pour nonstop.
In the other hand, Miles struggled finding another towel, searching everywhere yet never finding anything. But he did find a couple of paper rolls he hadn’t seen before so he decided to take it.
You listened to the footsteps, shooting your head back up. Realising the guy had come back, waiting patiently for him as you stood quietly.
He walked through the back door, holding 4.. 5? Paper rolls as he put them on the counter, sneezing a bit under his sleeve.
“I found these so you can like dry off,” he said, rubbing the back of neck as he looked over to you while you glanced over to the rolls.
You smiled, taking one of them before you started wiping yourself. Your hands being the main focus. Slowly you finally finished from wiping your arms mainly. You looked for a trash bin, meaning to throw all the tissues you had used aside from the ones you stuck on your hair.
Catching Miles’ attention, he pointed out the location of the trash bin, “The trash can is here,” He said, pointing over to the side of the counter as you nodded.
After throwing all the tissues away, thanking the boy for the tissues you went back to the records. Checking them all out as you can finally had the satisfaction of holding them.
You softly touched every single one of them, treating them with more than enough care as you observed them. And well, Miles observed you, watching your movements before he had realised how bad of a job he is doing and how creepy watching you is.
Miles walked towards you, looking over at the record you had in hand, “Do you need any assistance?” He asked, smiling lightly.
You flinched slightly, looking over your shoulder to face the boy.
You shook your head, “Nah, not really,” You replied almost instantly as you put the record down. He nodded in response, just standing beside you while you looked at another one.
The silence remained, the two of you had nothing to talk about while the rain still poured outside.
Miles thought to himself, walking over to the counter as he took a piece of the paper roll before he dried his hands completely. He started playing some music, filling the silence between you guys.
You watched him as he does that, not noticing the stare you had before he finally looked over to you. He blushed slightly before he gave you a cheeky smile, you returned the smile unawarely before you focused back to the record you held.
Miles cleared his throat, coughing a few times before he spoke, “So uh, mind telling me with your name is?..” he asked, raising an eyebrow as you faced him.
“It’s Y/N, how about you?..” you replied, asking him a question back.
And he smiled, “It’s miles,”
You raised an eyebrow, skeptical about his name being, “Miles..?”
“Miles!” He said, grinning while you nodded in response. Resting your head back on the counter as he hummed with the music.
It wasn’t as awkward as it was a few minutes ago, the music surely had lightened the atmosphere just a bit.
It slowly turned to the two of you minding your own business. Him sitting on a chair behind the counter while you stood there, resting your head on the countertop. Both of you waiting for the rain to stop while no one surprisingly entered, just the two of you simply waiting, listening to instrumentals played.

part 2
Tumblr media
No matter how far you left that spider life behind, he somehow managed to pull you back in.
And god you tried so desperately to stay away. To refuse him.
Miguel O’Hara just had a way with you. He always did.
Sometimes you wished you were stronger.
The moment you stepped into your apartment was when all of your senses struck your spine and made you freeze in your doorway.
No one else would have known to continue forward cautiously by leaping up to your ceiling and crawling the rest of the way into the apartment, high on alert. Then again, no one else was you. At least not in this universe.
Your spider senses got worse as you crawled toward your ajar bedroom door. When you were close enough, you dropped down as quietly as you could to the floor. One hand preparing a web to shoot and the other raising toward the door to push it further open.
Only you freeze all together.
A sharp tingle struck your back.
Behind you.
Of course, you were quick. Without turning toward the intruder entirely, you shot a web to grab a large vase sitting on a nearby table in the short hallway and swung it behind you. They dodged the vase just as fast and you instantly shot both of your webs toward the intruder. Only for them to be caught by them with both their hands.
“I’m disappointed, Domino.”
It was a mistake to let your guard down by only a little. It was a mistake to instantly recognize his voice.
“Miguel—AAARGH!”
A sudden yank from the webs caused you to fly forward until an iron grip wrapped around both your wrists. Until you were facing the scarlet and blue mask of the one Spider-Man you never expected to see again.
“Too slow.” Even with the mask, you could hear his smirk.
Now that you were aware of who you were dealing with, the tension in your muscles lessened. Just a little.
Some part of you wanted to say “You shouldn’t be here” but since you weren’t in the mood for a long and exhausting spout with the man, you took the more easy and straightforward route of the conversation.
“Why are you here, Miguel?”
His hold on your wrists loosened but he didn’t let go right away. Which was to your dismay as you really didn’t want to be this close to him. Not when you knew that both seeing him now and now having very little space between the both of you would compromise your senses, your steeled will.
And yet you didn’t pull away.
You watched quietly as his mask disappeared, trying your very best not to get too drawn into his features like you used to. Resisting the urge to run your fingers through his dark locks, tugging on some of them like the old days.
Stop.
That was a long time ago.
And it should remain that way.
Unfortunately, Miguel didn’t appear as strong or restrained. The way he hungrily looked at you wasn’t missed but it certainly wasn’t voiced. By either of them. That was something they wouldn’t touch right now. Probably not ever.
When his forehead gently brushed against yours, when his scent overwhelmed your nostrils was when you forced yourself back on solid ground.
“Miguel.”
Eventually, he also had to pull himself together. Eventually, he dropped his hold on your wrists and walked around you, putting a good distance between the two of you. Warily and curiously, you watched his movements.
He gestured toward the shattered pieces of what once was the vase, “I bought you that, you know. That was rude.”
“So is breaking into someone’s apartment.” You retorted dryly.
Miguel suddenly took out a small object that shone in the gentle light of the sunset, “I still have a key.”
You huffed, “Imma need that back.” You tried reaching for it, only for Miguel to quickly yank it out of your reach, the beginnings of a smirk forming on his face. That’s when you grew annoyed.
“I thought you were never gonna come back to this universe again. Remember? You went on a whole tangent about it.”
“Mmm.” Was his response at first. You silently watched him tuck the extra key away into some invisible pocket in his suit. “That was only after you said you were never coming back to the team” You tensed at this as the memories came trickling back. “Or coming back to me—”
“So what’s changed?”
Miguel frowned, “I need you—”
“No.”
You reframed from smirking at the twitch in his jaw, at the way his trained mask momentarily slipped at your obvious stubbornness. You gestured in the direction of the front door, “If that’s all, the door’s over there—”
“It’s Electro.” That, of course—he knew it would—made you stop. It was your turn for your mask to fall, just enough for Miguel to notice as well. The intenseness in his features softened, “It’s your brother…he somehow made it into another universe—”
“When do we leave?” Miguel had the audacity to look surprised. You glared, “I’m not doing this for you, O’Hara. It’s like you said, he’s my brother. After that, I’m done for good, you hear me?”
With that, he schooled his face back to a controlled mask. One that meant business.
“Whatever you say, Domino.”
You wince and send him another glare before stalking toward your bedroom to change.
Ever since he started calling you that name, Domino, you’ve hated it. It originated from a mission gone bad—mostly for you—and he hadn’t stopped calling you Domino since. It was mostly because you had been knocked down into a bunch of trash cans that happened to be in a long line.
Hobie said you tumbled like a stack of dominos. Miguel never let that moment go.
Fuck him.
Yet despite your hatred for it, you never discouraged it. You just liked the way he said it. You liked the way his voice softened whenever—
No. Fuck him. Fuck him. Fuck. Him.
After this you wouldn’t ever have to see him again. You wouldn’t ever have to be wrapped up in his shadows, in his overwhelming way of showing…
Fuck him.
It was odd being back in your old suit. Frankly, it felt dated as you swung around in it. There was an itching part of you that wanted to update it, get new designs, and test them out of your suit. Self-restraint was a challenge during that mission. Especially around Miguel.
Thankfully, Jessica and Hobie showed up so it wasn’t just you and Miguel facing Electro—or in other words your estranged brother. It was already enough having to face family drama, but then you add a frustratingly unlabeled drama that kept interfering with your focus.
“Stay on your side, O’Hara!” You snapped when you dodged an electric zap sent your way.
“Don’t be a child!” Miguel shot back.
“I’m not! We agreed Hobie and I’d take left and you and Drew would take right! You are not holding your end of the agreement!” You landed on a nearby pylon. “Which is no surprise!”
Another blast came from Electro, this time aimed at Miguel and Hobie. Hobie was able to swing out of the way and land on the same tower with you while Miguel landed on the other side, “What the hell is that supposed to mean!?”
“She means you’re an asshole, bud.” Hobie added.
“Nobody asked you!”
“Hey!” Jessica shouted from below, steering her motorcycle toward Electro, “Less fighting like children and more getting this guy before he causes the entire city to go dark!”
The fight hadn’t gone on for long. Eventually, you were able to confront your brother up close despite Miguel’s protests against it. Yet you were the one that knew your brother the best, who was he or anyone else to tell you what to do when it came to him? Certainly not, Miguel. Leader of a secret society or not, this was your turf. He asked you here and you would complete the job the way you knew how.
There was a point where you managed to get Electro at a somewhat calm and the thrilled part of you was ready to prove Miguel right. But unfortunately, family bonds wouldn’t save you in this situation. It wouldn’t tie anything up in the neat bow you were expecting.
The blast nearly threw you entirely off the building if not for a bunch of webs catching you in mid air and bringing you back up. Miguel and Hobie managed to subdue Electro thanks to your unintentional distraction while Jessica was the one to pull you back to your feet.
“Damn, babes, that was a close one.” She gave an amused smirk. “Just how long have you been out of the game?”
“Shut up, Drew.” You grumbled despite the other woman’s grin.
Coming back to HQ was the very last thing you wanted to do. But you wanted to make sure your brother was properly dealt with. Even if that meant dealing with Miguel’s bullshit along the way.
As you entered the computer room, Miguel’s mask came off, “What the hell was that back there?”
“Domino doing Domino things.” You mutter dryly.
“Yeah you are.” Hobie held up his hand for a high five, which you reluctantly gave.
Miguel sent him a scathing scowl before turning back to you, “You think this is funny? You could’ve gotten yourself killed back there!”
“I had it handled.” You gritted out, removing your own mask. “He didn’t need everyone coming at him all at once. If you had given me a few more minutes with him—“
“But we didn’t have a few minutes, did we?” Miguel snapped quickly.
“No, of course not.” You crossed your arms, ignoring how he stood taller than you. Ignoring how he would’ve appeared menacing if not for your pissed off mood. “Because everything has to go O’Hara’s way, right? Fuck everybody else.”
Hobie smirked from the side of the room, his mask also removed, “I missed her. ‘ow come she’s not around often, Bossman?”
Miguel’s jaw twitched dangerously because they all knew Hobie never referred to him as “Bossman” unless to piss him off. because he knew that Hobie didn’t respect him as much, and didn't care for him as a leader. Bossman was just Hobie being a little shit, in Miguel’s words at least.
“It was fucking reckless.” Miguel seethed. “And as usual, you’re too immature to even realize what you did. What could’ve happened—“
“You brought me here!” You snapped back, as venomous as his fangs. “If you don’t like my way then you should’ve left me the fuck alone!”
“Guys, come on.” Jessica sighed, already used to the both of you like this.
Miguel was fuming and trying so desperately to hide the fact that you easily worked him up this way. And him failing at hiding it only made him pissed off even more.
He hissed, turning his back to you.“I was being considerate. For your sake. It was your brother after all…It was a mistake bringing you in. I should’ve known fucking better.”
A bitter laugh left your lips, “Finally! We can agree on something!” You stalked out of the room with Hobie trailing behind you—you were used to him following you around—as you muttered, “Let me know when you’ll be sending Max back.”
Just as you left the room, there was a loud crash and Jessica snapping at Miguel.
When your brother was finally sent back to your universe so that he could be sent to a cell powerful enough to hold him, you left HQ and didn’t look back when you did. Swearing to yourself that it would be the last time you would ever allow yourself to step back into that place. To allow yourself to set your eyes upon him again.
Unfortunately, that promise didn’t last too long.
Despite yourself, you started messing with your suit designs. Adding new stuff to make it look less dated than before. But that didn’t mean you were back to that spider life. No. Not one bit.
Hobie swung by your dimension and suggested that both of you went crime fighting for the day. And you only agreed just so your fighting techniques weren’t so rusty anymore. But you weren’t back in the game. Not one bit.
Then Jessica came to visit, claiming that she wanted you to see the progress in her pregnancy and catch up as friends. Which then led you to following her into another dimension to fight another Rhino, which was a great success.
Fuck, you missed this.
And you were tempted. You really were tempted to swing through your city as their Spider person again.
Maybe it wouldn’t hurt after all. Didn’t mean you had to face Miguel. Yes. That was fine.
In the next month forward, you had started your crime fighting as the spider person of your dimension. A new suit and refreshed skills, you felt unstoppable. You even brought out your dimension traveling bracelet. Just to go and visit Hobie and Jessica whenever. Just that.
Soon, Jessica took on a new protege. Spider-Gwen. She was a nice kid and started coming over to your dimension with Hobie whenever they had the time. You liked her alot. She was like a little sister whenever she came around. Same as Hobie being like a younger brother to you.
At one point you found yourself back at HQ—you were honestly terrible at keeping your steeled will—but only to return a few bad guys to their respectful dimensions. You had fully planned on avoiding Miguel—at this point you hadn’t seen each other since your spat a month ago—and going back to your dimension.
That was the plan at least.
“How come you never go with us to see Miguel?” Gwen asked while the two of you watched one of the villains being sent back to their dimension. “You two don’t get along or…?”
Spider-Byte snorted and you sent the hologram a glare, “They have a special history, newbie. You’ll see someday.”
“Quiet, kid.” You mumbled, crossing your arms before addressing Gwen, “Yeah…we don’t get along. It’s best for the both of us that we aren’t in the same room together, right now.”
“Is it?”
You tried your very best not to allow your face to fall into shock at his voice coming from behind you and Gwen. Really, you should’ve expected that to happen.
Miguel approached the two of you, glancing briefly toward Gwen but his eyes remained glued to yours. “Drew’s asking for you. Says she needs your help on Level 4.”
It took you a few seconds to realize he had been talking to Gwen as the blonde nodded her head and disappeared out of the room. Spider-Byte threw on some headphones and continued with her work. In other words, it was just the two of you. The very opposite of what you had planned and wanted.
“I hear you’ve been coming around here a lot more often.” Miguel mused as he brushed past you, his arm grazing yours as he did. You watched him, a lot less hostile than you thought you would be. Instead, you only stared at his back muscles. “I didn’t know you’ve become quite the contradicting person.”
You shrugged, hugging your arms closer to you, “I’ve just been helping Jess and Hobie out. S’not a big deal.”
A sound came from his throat, similar to a chuckle, “I also hear that the White Spider is back on the news.”
“You’ve been keeping tabs on me?” You instead said, one of your brows raising slightly. “When did you start that up again?”
Miguel glanced over his shoulder, his face unreadable, “Who says I ever stopped?”
You smirk, trying to hide how tight your chest felt at his words. At how soft his voice had gotten.
“Look who’s become contradicting now.”
Miguel was quiet at that.
You tried to continue your original goal after that frustratingly vague interaction. You weren’t really sure where you had stood with him after that. Sure, you still were hesitant to rejoin the society fully—mostly because of him—but now you were going on missions with some of the members and helping Jessica train her protégé. At this point, you were practically back, just without the official stuff.
And now you were on a mission with Miguel. You hadn’t been on one of these since your fight. Piece by piece you were just breaking your own promises, your stubbornness was weakening. Your spine had shaken.
Damn him.
No matter what you could never resist Miguel.
You could tell it was the same for him.
“You should go home.”
“Do you know how many times you’ve said that and I’ve still ended up staying?” You leaned on the doorway entrance to his quarters with a smug look on your face. “I think you should give it up by now.”
Miguel was topless. After a particularly long mission, a lot of the team had come out with some cuts and bruises, Miguel wasn’t exempt from that.
You watched as he was cleaning his wound on his left shoulder, only that put too much strain on his bruised side every time he reached his right hand over to tend to that shoulder. For a few more minutes you watched him keep going at it before you sighed and eventually stepped in.
“Stop.” You smacked his hand to the side gently and took the bloodied cloth from his hand.
Miguel tensed, “Domino—”
“I’ve got it.” You told him sternly. “We don’t need you reopening your stitches. Just relax. I’ve got you.”
Your words had disarmed him and caused him to loosen the tension in his muscles at your gentle touch. The wound wasn’t too bad, at least not as bad as the one under his right arm. Once the blood was wiped away, there was just a bit of purple coloring. The blood must’ve been from someone else.
His breaths fanned against your own shoulder. You didn’t forget how close the two of you were in that moment. It was more like you were trying to distract yourself from the fact.
Instead, a small smile tugged at your lip, “It’s been a minute since you’ve been injured.” You noted the light scars on the other parts of his arm.
“Not really.” Miguel grunted, ducking his head down as he rested his elbows on his knees. “I got hit a couple months back. Only difference was that you weren’t there to lick my wounds clean.”
“Do you always need me to?” You joked halfheartedly.
A small tug upward in his lip made your heart skip, “I would prefer it better than being alone.”
“I thought you liked being a loner.”
“Not these days.”
You knew you were treading dangerous territory but the question left your lips before you could rethink it through.
“Did you really want me to go?”
Underneath your fingers, you felt him inhale, slowly.
“Honest?”
You scoffed, “I wouldn’t be asking if I wanted to hear a lie.”
Over his shoulder, he stared at you. A part of you wanted to shift under his intense gaze, a part of you wanted to look away sheepishly but you bravely held it. Though the change in your grip was probably a dead giveaway at your nervousness.
“If it were up to me, you wouldn’t have ever left my sight.”
You tried not to feel too overwhelmed by his words, knowing it was your own fault for asking. For even bringing it up in the first place.
So instead you snorted, “Wow. Sounds awfully possessive—”
His other hand grasped the back of your neck and brought you toward him, your lips connecting. His desperation for you was clear. And your resolve had slowly fallen—no that was such a lie. It had quickly crumbled the moment you felt his touch, the moment his lips were on yours, the moment you felt his desperation sink into your skin just as easily as his fangs would.
When his larger body moved on top of you, you knew your resolve had fully broken. Completely gone. When his lips found your neck, you were gone. When his hips rutted against yours, your mind was gone. When you finally felt him sink into your being, when you felt him inside you—god you never realized how much you had wanted this until now.
No. You knew.
Miguel held your hands down to the bed sheets, only you managed to slip them from his grip and find them tugging and running through his hair, legs wrapped around his hips to pull him closer.
You felt him smirk against your neck, “My stubborn girl.”
And just like that you were back into a cycle in which you swore not to fall into again. Only, this time the two of you didn’t make it known to the others. It was a silent choice between the two of you to keep whatever this was to yourselves. It was better that way you realized.
But as time went by, you knew it would be a little more difficult to hide it. Miguel was touchy. It was fine on days where it was just the both of you, when the both of you were working on something together. Yet on the days where you are around others, such as missions, you know he can’t help himself. And neither can you.
The both of you were terrible at hiding it in the end.
Hobie was surprisingly observant.
“You’re lookin’ cozy now.”
You glanced up to find Hobie lounging about as you were looking at videos of different dimensions. “Let it go, B—”
“I ain’t sayin’ shit.” He shrugged. “Just noticed a few things is all.”
And the two of you left it at that. Never really spoke on it again. Hobie now knew. And Jessica had eyes and a brain, she probably already put two and two together. Especially with you coming to HQ a lot more often now. Even the newbie, Gwen, took double takes every now and then whenever she saw you and Miguel together.
“You seem particularly stressed tonight.” You hummed to him on another night—this time in your apartment, squirming as his cock twitched inside of you.
Miguel looked down at you, a brow raised in challenge, “Can’t take it tonight, baby? Usually you like it a little rough, hmm?” He buried his face into your neck, his thrusts slower than before. Gentle nips at your neck that would sure to leave bruises the next day. Just the way he liked it. The possessive shithead.
“And yet, you’re still stressed.” You whisper next to his ear, breathing out a sigh of pleasure.
Miguel grunted in reply and remained at your neck. Until he slowly pulled away to rest his forehead on yours. He sighed against your skin, “Just another anomaly. Nothing we can’t fix.”
You smiled with a soft hum, “You always do anyway.”
His lips were pressed into yours, a hint of a smile shaping his mouth, “Not just me.”
The anomaly problem never went away it seemed. Soon Miguel got buried deep into his work. You were fine with it, already used to his committed work habits. Besides, you had your own world to manage. You weren’t just waiting all night for him to come home like some girlfriend slowly practicing patience. No, instead you had your own thoughts to keep you busy. But you still managed to find time and visit HQ. To visit the others. To visit Miguel.
It wasn’t until the anomaly was formed into a single person. Another Spider-Man. A kid.
Miles Morales.
Gwen told you about him a few times. How he was the first friend she made after her Peter’s death. You remembered wanting to meet the boy with how much Gwen kept talking about him. And you told Gwen this as well. That they should plan a day to go visit him. Unfortunately, that day never came to fruition.
The unfortunate part was the why.
“What are you not telling me about this Miles guy?” You already knew the answer. You weren’t stupid. You just wanted to know if Miguel would tell you. Would trust you with the information.
Miguel had his back turned to you, facing the screens when you stalked into the room to ask him this. “He isn’t your concern.”
“Bullshit.” You cross your arms. “Clearly, you said something to Gwen. And Jess. Hell, even Hobie. What are you not telling me, Miguel? Why is Miles Morales so important?” You narrow your eyes challengingly, “Or rather, why does he make you so nervous—”
“Enough, Domino.” Miguel said through gritted teeth, trying desperately not to snap at you. “He isn’t your concern. Let it go.”
Hobie had already filled you in on the details before you had come to Miguel about it. The information in itself was troubling, yes. But what was even more troubling was why you were hearing it from someone else other than Miguel. Why did he want to keep you in the dark about this?
That’s when your eyes landed on the old video of him and his daughter. The daughter he lost on another Earth.
“Fine.” You frowned. “Don’t tell me.”
Miguel still had his back toward you. You scoffed and turned to leave. You would’ve been fine to leave it there. That was the one thing the two of you disagreed on the most. The canon stuff. Your sister had to die for it. That’s why Max had become what he had become. That’s why you had left the society, left him in the first place.
Restarting all of this. Thinking you could forgive.
But there was no way you could’ve ever forgotten.
You had to stand by and watch your sister die because it was a part of canon. Because Miguel cared for you and your world so much that he did not want to see it unravel like his did. A part of you wanted to believe that—maybe there was a small part that did—but that didn’t change the grief nor the terror. You just hoped.
Hoped. And hoped. And hoped….
Eventually, you did some research for yourself. Apparently, this Miles guy hadn’t lost his parents but his uncle. Apparently, he was supposed to lose his dad once he became captain. There was nothing you could do about it if it was supposed to happen. You certainly couldn’t tell him that was going to happen.
You couldn’t do anything….
Until you could.
Hobie appeared in the middle of your living room that night.
“I quit that place.” He shrugged, flopping down onto the couch next to you. “But I suggest you suit up, yeah?”
“Why?” You furrowed your brows, placing down your book you had been reading until he unexpectedly arrived.
“Because I ‘ave a good feelin’ you are the only person that wouldn’t like what’s about to happen. What’s currently happening.”
This time you frowned, an aching feeling tugging at your chest.
“Hobie. What’s going on?”
It wasn’t long until you were flying through the HQ, following all of the spider people as they chased after one thing. One person.
Nobody had known you were there. Nor what you were there for. You had blended into the crowd of spider people, flying around, swinging around until you spotted a blip of the boy that they were chasing. And you saw Miguel, Gwen, and Jessica going after him.
All that you knew was that he was alone. The boy was alone. He needed at least one person at his side. One person who understood what he was going through right then.
By the time you had gotten to the speeding trains, Miguel had Miles pinned down to the top of the train. He had yet to see you. But there was no doubt he would sense you. There was no doubt that he would see your flashing figure, zipping toward him. There was no doubt that in the corner of his eye, he would see you flying at him with a kick and landing it just perfectly, and in time before he could prepare to block you.
Now you stood in front of Miles as Miguel rolled away before clawing his hand into the top of the train to keep him on it.
You removed your mask and grinned, “Too slow, O’Hara!”
“Y/N!” Gwen stared at you in shock.
“Who’s that?!” One Spider-Man with a pink robe—and a baby—attached to him questioned in confusion.
Miguel crawled to his feet. In the corner of your eye Miles jumped off the train and disappeared in seconds. “What have you done?!”
You shrugged, “Nothing yet. That depends on you.”
“Y/N, don’t!” Jessica shouted. “You can’t beat him!”
Miguel’s face was twisted into a scowl, mixed with both betrayal and anger, “She’s right, Domino. You can’t win. You’re on the wrong side!”
You pulled your mask back on and melted into a fighting stance, “I don’t have to win. I just have to give the kid more time.”
For a brief second, the scowl was gone. This look was only for you to see. The same look he wore when you first quit the society.
They were back to where it all began. This was the cycle. It was bound to happen. You knew this. He knew this.
“I don’t want to fight you.” He gritted out. “Stand down, Domino. I’ll only ask this once.”
Not once did you budge.
“I hope we come back from this, Miguel.”
You dashed forward.
Miguel let out a roar of anger and dashed toward you.
The two of you would meet in the middle. And for a second, you really wondered…
Would you?
Would you come back from this?

The Comfort of Imaginary Arms
➥ summary: Earth42!Miles misses his girlfriend so much he decides to sleep with his body pillow imagining that it’s her, but she won’t allow that
➥ one shot
Tumblr media
The moon cast a soft glow through the window, gently illuminating Miles Morales' room as he lay in bed. Restlessness filled his mind, his thoughts consumed by memories of (Y/n), the person who had captured his heart. Though they were physically apart, the bond they shared remained strong, and the ache of longing for their presence grew more intense with each passing night.
Unable to find solace in sleep, Miles reached for the body pillow tucked beside him, a makeshift companion he had fashioned to provide comfort in (Y/n)'s absence. He hugged it tightly, the soft fabric against his cheek an imperfect substitute for the warmth of their touch.
Closing his eyes, Miles allowed his imagination to take hold. In his mind's eye, he pictured (Y/n) lying beside him, their laughter filling the room, and their fingers intertwined. He could almost feel the weight of their head on his shoulder, the gentle rise and fall of their breath against his skin.
As he clung to the body pillow, Miles whispered softly into the night, "I miss you, (Y/n). I wish you were here with me."
In the quiet darkness, memories flooded his mind—moments shared, conversations whispered in hushed tones, and the connection they had forged. He longed for those stolen glances, the way (Y/n)'s eyes would light up in his presence, and the laughter that filled the spaces between their words.
Miles traced his fingers along the contours of the body pillow, imagining that it was (Y/n)'s hand he held. He closed his eyes, his mind painting vivid pictures of stolen kisses, tender embraces, and the warmth of their love enveloping them both.
The silence of the night allowed his thoughts to wander freely, carrying him to cherished memories of their time together. Each memory was etched into his heart, a testament to the love they had shared. The pillow, now a vessel for his longing, provided a bittersweet comfort—a reminder of the depth of his emotions.
As the night wore on, Miles found solace in the intimacy of his imaginary embrace. It was a connection that transcended the physical realm, reaching deep into his soul. Though separated by distance, he held on to the hope that their love would bridge the gap and bring them back together.
With the gentle rhythm of his breath and the warmth of the body pillow against his chest, Miles allowed himself to drift into a fitful slumber. In his dreams, he walked hand in hand with (Y/n), their laughter echoing in the air, and their love radiating from every pore.
But even in his dreams, there was a lingering ache—an awareness that his imaginary embrace could never fully replace the tangible presence of (Y/n). He longed for the day when their arms would intertwine once more, when he could feel their heartbeat against his chest and whisper words of love into their ear.
The moon hung high in the night sky, casting a silvery glow over the city as (Y/n) stealthily made her way through the shadows. She moved with the grace and agility of a spider, her movements purposeful and silent. The wind whispered through the streets, carrying with it a sense of anticipation.
Tonight, (Y/n) had made a decision—a decision that defied the boundaries of distance and longing. She couldn't bear to spend another night away from Miles, her heart aching with the need to be near him. So, she had taken a leap of faith, climbing through his window to surprise him.
As she silently slipped into Miles' room, her eyes fell upon the sight that made her heart flutter with both tenderness and sadness. There he lay, wrapped in the embrace of a body pillow—a makeshift companion that served as a surrogate for her absence. (Y/n) couldn't help but feel a twinge of longing, realizing just how much she had been missed.
Determined to make her presence known, (Y/n) gently slipped the body pillow out of Miles' arms. As she did, he stirred, his eyelids fluttering open in confusion. He blinked, his drowsy gaze meeting hers, his voice caught in his throat as he tried to form words.
"What—" Miles began, his voice a soft murmur.
But before he could complete his sentence, (Y/n) placed a finger on his lips, her eyes sparkling with mischief and affection. "Shh," she whispered, her voice gentle but firm. "Go back to sleep, baby."
Miles blinked, his mind momentarily overwhelmed by the whirlwind of emotions and the unexpected sight of (Y/n) standing before him. He couldn't help but feel a mixture of surprise, joy, and confusion. But as he looked into her eyes, the longing in his heart subsided, replaced by a deep sense of contentment.
Unable to resist the allure of her presence, Miles settled back into his pillow, his eyes never leaving (Y/n)'s form. The room filled with a comforting silence as he watched her climb into his bed, her movements graceful and unhurried. She settled herself into his waiting arms, her head resting against his chest, their heartbeats aligning in a rhythm of connection.
The warmth of (Y/n)'s body against his, the softness of her breath against his skin—it was a moment of sheer bliss. Miles wrapped his arms around her, pulling her closer, as if afraid that she would vanish if he let go. In the safety of his embrace, (Y/n) felt a sense of belonging—a homecoming that filled the empty spaces within her soul.
As they lay together, their breathing synchronized, Miles couldn't help but whisper, "I missed you so much, ma.”
(Y/n) lifted her head, her eyes meeting his, a tender smile on her lips. "I missed you too, Miles. But I'm here now, and that's all that matters. Just let go and rest. We have all the time in the world."
Miles nodded, the weight of his weariness settling upon him. He closed his eyes, allowing himself to be enveloped in the comfort of (Y/n)'s presence. Her words washed over him, soothing his restless mind, as he succumbed to the embrace of slumber once again.
Wrapped in each other's arms, (Y/n) and Miles drifted into a peaceful sleep—a shared dream that transcended the limitations of their physical bodies. In the realm of dreams, they found solace and the promise of a tomorrow filled with togetherness.
And as the night unfolded, the moon whispered its blessings upon the lovers, casting its gentle light upon their entwined forms. It was a testament to the power of love—a force that defied distance, embraced vulnerability, and forged unbreakable bonds.
In each other's arms, Miles and (Y/n) found solace and a home—a sanctuary that welcomed them with open arms. And together, they would continue to navigate the intricate web of their lives, their love serving as a guiding thread, leading them towards a future where their dreams would become their reality.

KISS ME ✮ 1610! miles x fem reader
Tumblr media
summary: y/n is one of the most popular girls at Visions Academy, so everyone thinks it's weird when she starts hanging out with the weird new kid... (just a ton of fluff lol)
a/n: my first post and i barely proofread this, sorry if it's bad LMAO
Everyone knew about the new kid Miles Morales. Miles had made quite the name for himself during his first few weeks at Vision Academy. Ever since everyone saw the incident between him and the new student Gwanda (hair incident lol), everyone steered clear of his direction. Rumor had it that he was even the reason for her sudden unenrollment from the school just a few days later.
You were one of the only very few people who didn’t believe this silly rumor. You had been partnered up with Miles a couple of times as lab partners and found him to actually be quite normal. He was surprisingly funny, nice, and actually kinda cute. During lectures he’d always crack jokes to you, resulting in you bursting into fits of giggles and being scolded by the teacher. Everyone questioned why one of the most popular girls at Visions Academy was smiling and blushing every time the new kid opened his mouth…
After a couple of weeks, you began to actually look forward to science class (a class you previously dreaded). You and Miles grew closer and closer and soon enough you found yourself taking extra time out of your day for your appearance before science. All your friends teased you for your little crush on the new kid, but nonetheless encouraged you to make a move.
You took a deep breath and adjusted your hair before walking into class, taking a seat, at your and Mile’s shared table.“Hey Morales,” you said casually, Miles looked up from his sketchbook and took out his headphones, “Oh hey y/n, you’re here early.” He said quirking an eyebrow, “You look really nice today by the way, uh not that you don’t look nice every day but I mean you just look extra nice today. You got a date or something?” He asked trying to sound as casual as possible.
You giggled at his remark, “No, just wanted to put in the extra effort today…” You paused and looked up from the ground to meet his gaze, “Actually, I was actually wondering if you wanted to do something after school today…since it’s Friday I figured we could maybe go watch a movie or something.”
Miles’ eyes widened, clearly flustered by the invitation, “Oh yeah sure I didn’t really have anything planned for tonight besides just staying in and playing video games with Gankee. There’s actually a horror movie playing that I really wanna see too.” He said with a hint of blush on his face.
Truth be told, you hated horror movies, but not wanting to fumble this amazing opportunity you decided not to say anything about it, “Okay cool! We can meet there around 7ish and grab snacks before the movie starts.”
Miles smiled. “Yeah cool.”
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It was currently around 7:10 pm and Miles was nowhere to be seen. You stood in front of the movie theatre, looking a little too dolled up to be seeing a movie. You stared at your phone, Miles texted saying he’d be there in 5 minutes 15 minutes ago. Suddenly you saw Miles running full speed towards you, “S-Sorry I’m late I got caught up with something!” He panted, clearly out of breath. You playfully rolled your eyes, “Yeah yeah whatever, c’mon let’s just go and watch the movie.” You said before grabbing his hand and dragging him inside.
Throughout the movie, there was the occasional hand brushing and inching towards each other. Halfway through the movie, he saw you shivering and offered you his jacket, in which you happily accepted it with a shy thanks (it smelt like him lol). Sadly, just before Miles was going to make yet a move on you the movie came to an end. As you two were exiting the movie theatre you spotted a couple of boys who went to your school snickering and glaring at the two of you.
“Damn, she’s wearing his jacket and everything it must be serious…” One of them said.
“How the hell did he pull her, he’s literally so weird” The other one said.
“What’s a girl like y/n doing with a guy like him…”
“She’s probably just using him for something I bet…”
Miles suddenly stopped talking and looked uncomfortably down at the floor. Your blood was boiling. Who the hell did these boys think they are? Suddenly, the perfect idea popped in your head.
“Miles can I kiss you?”
His eyes widened and he turned beat red, “Uh what? You wanna kiss ME?”
“Yeah, we need a show these dickheads that they don’t know what they’re talking about…that and I also just really wanna kiss you..” The last part came out a little bashful.
Before you could say anything else, Miles crashed his lips against yours. It was pure euphoria, Miles tasted sweet and you quickly deepened the kiss. After half a minute or so, Miles pulled back.
“That should show them not to mess with us.” Miles said smugly
The boys stared at you both with wide eyes, you shot them a dirty look before pulling Miles by the hand towards the exit.
“Did you see the look on their faces? They looked so stupid!” You exclaimed, Miles nodded in agreement before the both of you burst into a small fit of laughter.
“That was really fun, we should do that again sometime,” Miles said, tucking his hands into his pockets.
“The movies or the kissing?”
“Don’t play dumb y/n, you know exactly what I’m talking about,”
You continued to play dumb, “Hmmm I really don’t know what you’re talking about Morales, I think you’re gonna have to show me.” You said smugly
“Oh yeah?” He asked before pulling you closer.
“Y-Yeah..” You said taken back by his sudden boost of confidence.
He pulled you into a deep kiss.

“Well, not if I’m laying next to you, of course.”
Miles had been playing 2k for almost 4 hours, screaming and yelling at the tv screen. You didn’t mind staying over and just watching him play though, you enjoyed his presence anyways. He would sit on the edge of his bed facing the tv, you would sit at the top of his bed, resting your legs on his lap.
“Miles it’s getting late wrap it up..”
“Miles it’s like 12, can you come lay down?” He still stared at the TV not noticing you were talking to him. Eventually he snapped out of it.
“Damn it’s 12? My bad for keeping you up.” He said, almost as low as a whisper. Sooner or later he was turning off his game and laying in bed next to you.
“You got my attention now, ok?” He grabbed your bonnet off his nightstand and slid it over your hair, stuffing your braids inside.
“I kno you not tryna ruin those pretty ass braids I just paid for ma?” Miles said, confused as to why you weren’t covering your hair.
“I just forgot it tonight, thanks boo.” You said smiling at him softly, admiring his small acts of love.
“If you wanna get your hair done again I can-“
“No miles. My hair is gon fall out if I keep getting it done.”
“M’kay.. but if you-“
“Miles, no.” You giggled and turned over to go to sleep. Miles was still laying on his back looking up at the ceiling.
You moved a bit, trying to find the most comfortable spot in bed. After a few seconds you moved again, adjusting your position.
“Can’t sleep or sumn?” Miles turned over a bit to side eye you, confused as to why you kept moving.
“No, I’m just getting comfortable..” you turned again and adjusted your pillow.
“Hm.” He responded with a bit of an annoyed tone.
You moved again, stretching your legs before pulling the blanket higher above your chest.
“Yo, chill y/n.” Miles fully turned to you now, clearly annoyed with your constant movements.
“Boy I’m tryna go to sleep don’t get smart” you palmed his face in your hand and rolled your eyes, turning away from him. Even though you were a bit mean you genuinely did feel bad for moving so much. Miles wasn’t the most sleepiest person ever, so when he did get tired all you wanted him to do was rest.
Before you knew it Miles’s arms were wrapped around your waist, his head resting near your neck. You couldn’t honestly turn over if you tried.
“Shawty ion know who you talking to, but you not movin no more, ok?” He spoke in your ear while tightening his grip around your waist.
“I’m talking to you lil boy movee ” you laughed at him, trying to push his arms off of you.
“Nah we goin to sleep like this ma, don’t run either. Ion kno why you calling me a lil boy, you kno that’s not true..”
“You’re genuinely so aggravating” you said under your breath, settling into his arms.
“Yea yea, love you more dummy. Now go to sleep.”

A fresh breeze lingered through the air in your room from your ajar window. The dark sky was lit up by Brooklyn's city light's and painted the sky with purple, yellow and pink shades. Brooklyn was rather quiet tonight, aside from the occasional honks from cars and loud commercials playing on the billboards.
Your eyes were glued to the screen of your phone in a hope of a notification popping up from your boyfriend. You knew that his duty of keeping the city safe was his number one priority, but you were still worried about him. Miles was a smart guy, so in reality you didn't really need to dwell on if he was going to get hurt. Although, it was quite weird that he didn't text you back.
"Okay, I love you. Text me when you can and be safe"
Your thumbs hovered over your phone's keyboard as you kept rereading the last text you sent him. Every time he went out to save the city, he would text you every chance he got, so you wouldn't overthink about his safety. He knew you.
"Where are you Miles." You muttered to yourself as you adjusted the blanked keeping you warm. The feeling of the fresh washed bedding rubbed against your legs.
After a few minutes of scrolling through your phone, you decided that Miles would most probably text you that he is fine when he arrived home after completing his duty, and there was no need for you to worry. You pushed the button on the side of your phone to turn the screen off and placed the device on your bedside table. You swiftly turned to the opposite side of the bed and got into a comfortable position. Blanket wrapped around your cold body and the side of your head against your pillow. Eyes fluttering closed, and a heavy breath left through your nostrils. The faint sounds of the city echoed through your room, and the fresh air from your window slowly made you drift off to sleep.
Although, you didn't quite get to fall asleep, because a loud crash against your wall brought you back to reality.
You quickly sat up in your bed, propping yourself up with your elbows with fear growing within you. The sight of a masked person climbing in through your window slowly started coming into sight as your eyes adjusted to the darkness. Your heart was beating out of your chest as the fear and confusion intensified in you, until you realize who the "intruder" was.
The masked person looked anxiously out of your window as they climbed in and swiftly pressed themselves up against the wall beside your window. The sound of their heavy breathing echoed through the room as they slowly slid down along the wall, plopping down on the floor.
"Miles?" You whispered at the masked person, only getting heavy breathing as a response. You grabbed the warm blanket what covered you and pulled it off. You started approaching the masked person slowly, now recognizing your beloved boyfriend as you got closer. His signature suit was hard to spot in the dark, but you could recognize it whenever.
Miles sat on the ground, knees to his rapidly rising chest and arms wrapped around his legs. You crouched down in front of him and inspected him with a worried expression.
"Miles, what's going on?" You reached out to one of his arms and caressed it. Once again, no response. The only sound coming from him being hitched breaths.
"Miles, talk to me." Your soft voice called out to him, which successfully made him take off his mask and place it on the floor beside him. He placed his forehead against his knees, making it impossible for you to see his expression. Knowing something was going on, you simply hugged his huddled body and started caressing his back. The second your body touched his, a loud gasp escaped his lips, followed by rapid breaths and a sniffle.
You let go off his trembling body. Your hands on his shoulders being the only contact between you two.
"Miles, please, what happened?" You called out one last time to try and get something out of him, which only made the situation worse. Mile's chest started rising and falling quickly as his breath hitched in his throat. His whole body started shaking violently in an attempt to hold the panic within him.
"Please breathe Miles, please" The panic in your voice was only heard as a faint echo in his ears. "Babe please, breathe"
You cupped his face and lifted it softly. His brown glassy eyes locked with yours, and the worry you felt before intensified gradually as you saw his tear filled eyes.
"Miles, Love, please listen to me" You spoke softly as he breathed through his dry mouth. "Take a deep breath with me, Miles, okay?"
His eyes started darting around the room as if his senses felt something you couldn't feel. He tilted his body forward in an attempt to look out the open window, but as fast as he rose up he returned to his previous huddled position.
"Miles, take a deep breath, okay?" You caressed his soft cheek as you studied his worried features. In an attempt to get him to listen to your words, you demonstrated with your chest filling with air and slowly blowing it out of your mouth. Miles looked at you with fear filled in his eyes, but regardless, followed your lead. He took a deep breath through his mouth and slowly exhaled.
"One more" You instructed him as you both took a deep breath synchronized, which soon lead to a couple more deep breaths. Miles watched as your chest rose and fell in an attempt to focus on what he was supposed to do, which eventually made his rapid breathing calm down and the tears stopping from welling up.
He soon took one last deep breath and stretched out his legs on either side of you. His arms fell to his sides and his head leaned back against the cold wall behind him.
Your warm hands stared caressing his shoulders as you gave him a small smile.
"Are you okay?" Miles responded with nodding his head lightly and closing his eyes.
You stood up from your crouched position and held out your hands for him to grab. He assisted himself to stand up and took a hold of your hand. You had never seen Miles like this before, sure, there were times when you saw him stressed, although those times could never compare to the pure panic you just witnessed in your boyfriend.
You started moving towards your bed, lightly tugging at Mile's hand for him to follow you. You sat down on the bed and he soon did the same.
"You want to talk about it?" You asked your boyfriend, voice lingering with slight worry.
"Not.. now." Miles spoke quietly. Your heart flutter at the sound of his voice as you laid down on your bed, having Miles sit on the edge near your feet.
"That's okay" Your eyes locked with Mile's tired ones as he turned his head towards you, and within a second he was laying on top of you with his face buried in the crook of your neck. His arms wrapped around your body and squeezed tightly.
A sigh of relief left your lips as you felt your boyfriend relax at the warmth of your body. You turned your head towards him and planted a light kiss onto his forehead, feeling his lips curl up into a smile against your neck.
"I love you Y/N, and thank you" Miles mumbled against your neck as he cuddled your side. Your chest vibrated as you let out a giggle, wrapping all your limbs around Miles.
"Miles" You called out to him as he propped himself up onto his elbow, one hand still tugging at the side of your waist. His deep brown eyes studied your features as you laid on your back. "I'm happy I could help"
A smile decorated his face at your words, even though the panic was still simmering within him. He knew he could count on you, in good and in bad.
You reached out and caressed his warm cheek, feeling a smile creeping up onto your lips too.
"You know you can tell me everything?" You spoke with a serious expression. Miles simply nodded as a response and leaned in towards your face. His soft lips brush against yours before connecting them in a loving kiss. You smiled into the kiss, feeling the warmth spread through your whole body.
"Can we just, stay like this for a few more minutes?" Miles whispered as he broke the kiss, immediately returning his face to the crook of your neck and inhaling deeply.
"Yeah, of course we can."
