hey!! me and my friends decided to make a rotomblr account to talk about our journey. so here we are!

my name’s Miku, but you can call me Mind! i’m from Johto and i have 3 gym badges. i was in the middle of my journey before something happened (still not sure what lol) which led to me getting psychic powers. we’re still working on resolving that issue so if things around you just feel… unstable, that might be why. but it sounds like there’s already a bajillion crazy things happening across the multiverse so it may not be lol. me and all my friends share this account so feel free to talk to any of us :)

An unreality pokemon irl blog by @determinedowl23. This takes place during an au where the Arceus Plates were shattered and their pieces got scattered across the multiverse and landed in possession of the Mikus, who are trying to put them all back together to restore peace to everything.

Each Miku signs off with their own emoji both in the post itself and the tags. I also tag them with “#plv [nickname]” for another way to find them if you don’t remember the emojis.

Someone who might actually make your life better. Well lets cut the bullshit and move into the story that will most likely make no sense whatsoever.

He should be here by now. It's been 2 hours. The park was beautiful as it was spring, your favourite season. You did'nt get why he was so against going on a date that day when //obviously// you were both dating and he hardly spends time with you. You managed to convince him to meet you there. You had a whole day planned; arcades, figure shopping and lunch. But he was still late. "I really cant stay for long, I'll text you later tho, babe.", you heard a familiar voice. Almost too familiar. (Mmm i love overrated drama scenes </3) "Kenma?", you stood infront of the dark-haired girl and your.. boyfriend..? If you can still call him that Holding hands and sharing an ice cream (🚗🍦👩🏼) at a bench. "So this.. this is why you couldnt spend time with me anymore?" You were livid. Livid the fact you were cheated on. "I-I kitten wai-" "Kitten?", the dark haired girl cut him off. "Yes, I'm his girlfriend.", you glared. "You've been two-timing me??", she got up pointing at him. "What? But he's been two-timing me tho??", both looking at him with cold eyes and bitter expressions equally wanting an explanation. "I.. uh.. well-", looking at the ground then the both of you being cut off by "Save it, motherfucker." and a slap from the girl before dragging you with her.

"Hey! Whats the big deal??"

"How long have you been dating... h i m..?", refusing to say his name like its a disease whilst letting go of your hand. "Not sure why I have to tell you but.. 3 years.", shrugging and looking at the grass. "Well, I've been dating him for 5 years. I dont think you knew though so I dont really blame you honestly.", she said fiddling with the ends of her skirt. "Huh? Arent you.. mad?", with furrowed brows when she laughed. "I kinda saw the signs so it felt good to slap him in the face. I mean, the pixie-dick had it coming right?", grinning at you when you laughed at her remark. "Actually, I'm G/N (Girl's/Name). Courtesy of the one who once belonged to 'he-who-shall-not-be-named' and a professional crackhead", giving a gentleman-like bow. "Well I, am Y/N (Your/Name) of the lowly ex who is now cursed as a stray cat who's eating his ice cream alone as he should.", taking her hand and curtsy-ing with an oh-so sarcastic smug expression. "I think this is gonna be one fucking interesting, if you can call it, 'friendship' dont you think", she implied with air quotes. Laughing, the flowers of spring wilts to express that a new season is starting. One filled with interesting discoveries to be made with your new friend.

The Caligula Effect propaganda hours because people are vaguely talking about it in relation to other things.

So, what is The Caligula Effect? (I’ll refer to it as TCE sometimes under the cut!)

TCE is a game that’s similar to Persona 5 Royal’s Third Semester. Except the one creating the perfect world is… Hatsune Miku!

Ha, just kidding. She’s a Vocaloid knockoff, that’s for sure. A lovely Virtuadoll named μ. (pronounced Mu)

μ had a partner named Aria. The two Virtuadolls swam through the internet, the realm known as the Metaverse-Es. (This came out before Persona 5, I swear.)

μ and Aria saw all the grief, sadness, all the terrible things about reality that people put out onto the internet. And they thought that reality must be nothing but pain, right?

So they created Mobius. The eternal loop. Three years of high school, you repeat them over and over for the rest of your life.

And they grant all of your wishes.

It’s perfect, right? But what if you wanted to leave?

That’s where Aria and μ split.

Aria wanted people to be able to leave, but μ didn’t. She thought the real world was nothing but pain. She just wanted to wipe their memories and make Mobius even better.

So Aria was thrown from ruler status, shrunk to Chibi size, and is doomed to wander Mobius forever.

And that’s where you come in!

A few years later, your protagonist awakens to the realities of Mobius.

The Male Protagonist’s name is Ritsu Shikishima

The Female Protagonist… she doesn’t exactly have a name.

Also, there’s a female protag in this game! …Well, in the remake at least. The Caligula Effect: Overdose.

So Aria runs into ya, you’re traumadumping to a pixie-sized Vocaloid, and you gain superpowers based off trauma. If only life worked like that!

So you get two very cool guns, and you start a stellar as hell combat system. My only complaint is that it can sometimes be too easy, but I do hope they fix that in the sequel! (Coming out in October, hopefully)

Now I’m not the best at explaining combat, but basically each character has three actions per turn, and cooldown times for skills.

The game is based off chaining attacks.

For example, the Protagonist could spam their basic attack, Dual Trigger, three times.

Or, if the enemy has a shield up, they could use their Shadow Pierce to break the shield and launch the enemies. Then another team member, like Shogo, could use his Gunslinger attack to hit the enemy while they’re in the air and deal massive damage to those pesky Digiheads.

Also, the enemies in this game are called Digiheads. They’ve been brainwashed by μ’s song and are trying to kill you because you know that Mobius isn’t real and are trying to leave, and therefore you’re heretics in their eyes.

And that leads me to the main conflict of the game. You’re trying to escape Mobius with the help of Aria and the Go-Home club, and you’re up against the Ostinato Musicians.

The Go-Home club is a hell of a team, they’re not exactly friends at first but through the course of the game, you bond with them and they bond with you.

This game was in fact written by some writers who worked on Persona 1 and Persona 2, and this game has something called Character Episodes. They’re kind of like social links, except there’s no time-management aspect and you unlock more ranks as you 1. Level up their friendship level with you by having them participate in combat, and 2. Progress through the story. The Go-Home club has amazing development and there are characters you might hate at first, but then you go through their character episodes and end up loving them.

The Ostinato Musicians are fairly one-note villains at first, so why should you care about them?

The Musician Route, that’s why!

Some time after the second arc, you run into the mysterious conductor, Thorn. She tells you that you could also see another side. Play both of them. Be a Musician and a Go-Home club member. You know the people who just can’t stay, why not get to know the people that just can’t go?

And I’m telling you right now, that’s the biggest and best feature that the enhanced re-release added. You get to know the villains better than the surface. You get Character Episodes with them. You play both sides. And then at the end, you betray one side.

Fight to return home, or fight to stay. That is the question.

Mobius or Reality?

That’s your choice.

Also, the soundtrack is a goddamn banger. Popular Vocaloid composers were hired to write this soundtrack, like cosMo@Bousou-P (The Disappearance of Hatsune Miku) or Deco*27 (Ghost Rule). It just has that Vocaloid feel.

This game as a hell of a lot of love in it, and while the first game might have flopped, they’re still making a sequel! They made an anime. They made a self-cover album with all the Musicians VAs singing the songs their characters composed.

Though, quick warning, there is one canonically trans character and she faces a lot of transphobia throughout the game. There’s also a lesbian but she doesn’t face much homophobia in the game.

In summary, this game is lovely, amazing, and just all around brilliant. Please give it a chance, it has a slow as hell start, but it’s just so amazing, and it’s one of my all-time favorite games.

Yet another AU

Since I need this fem!HypMic AU to explain how I came up with some assorted headcanons I was planning to post, you might as well have it. (It's SFW, because I don't think I'm capable of writing NSFW.)

Notes:

In my head, this genderswap business is brought about by the psychic powers Gentaro has in this AU.

In MTC's case, the exact storyline I have in my head for this is quite clear - Jyuto gets transformed first by Gentaro, then Samatoki is attacked by a (female) psychic-type user who takes issue with an offhanded comment he makes about fem!Jyuto, then Riou takes an attack from Gentaro meant for fem!Samatoki and fem!Jyuto.

In FP's case, Gentaro transforms himself and his teammates out of curiosity.

BB unapologetically took their names from Gotoubun no Hanayome/The Quintessential Quintuplets, so to distinguish themselves, they changed Jiro’s name to “Nina”…That’s all they did...

Notice that I didn't change a lot about the characters - I wanted to keep them as close to their original characterisation and appearance as possible.

There is one character (more?) used to dealing with women who helps their division members out with the swap: BB help each other out, for MTC it's Samatoki (because of Nemu), for FP it's Ramuda and for MTR it's jacket on!Hifumi or Jakurai where necessary. (I don't know about DH and BAT.)

Due to the swap, BB changed their division name temporarily to "Buster Babes".

Ichiro -> Ichika (一花)

An unapologetic bishonen chaser and former delinquent who likes music (particularly rap), but also otome games, anime and manga. Secretly a fujo (?).

Has the shortest hair of the sisters.

Jiro -> Nina (二奈)

Sporty and outgoing, also an anime and manga fan. Unapologetic fujo who shares shipping content with her sister.

For her appearance, see the ARB event where Ichiro and Doppo become temporary hosts.

Saburo -> Miku (美玖)

Unlike her sisters, Miku is just an ordinary riajuu (normie), albeit a smart, smug one. Likes classical music.

Samatoki -> Makoto (誠, which means “sincerity”) (LOL)

A trash-talking, chain-smoking wakagashira of the Katen yakuza with boyish short hair. She wears men’s clothing because women’s stuff doesn’t always fit her and so she only takes interest in vintage men's clothing.

(How a woman got this far in the yakuza…no one will ever know. Maybe she's a dansou wearer...?)

Jyuto -> Touko (桃子, a play on the fact Jyuto was born in spring while also retaining the "to" sound)

A long-haired policewoman, who is never seen without some kind of rabbit accessory, including phone background and phone case (although those don’t really count as “accessories”…?).

Has terrible eyesight. Typically wears pantsuits.

Riou -> Ouka (桜花, the middle name is still "Mason"...like Jyuto's, the name's carrying over sound while changing kanji)

A former navywoman who is constantly seen toting around what appears to be a hunting rifle, despite weapons being outlawed by the H Act.

Hairstyle does not change (pixie cut, probably?). Ouka is significantly shorter than Riou, but tall for a woman her age.

Ramuda -> Kazuko (数子)

A bubbly, short fashion designer who likes to holler at her “oniisans”…much to their consternation…

Might be bi (?) It's hard to tell.

Gentaro -> Akiko (晶子, from Akiko Yosano, much like “Yumeno” may be from Kyuusaku Yumeno)

A demure author, dressed in a school outfit from the Taisho era (red andonbakama, or undivided hakama, as opposed to the black umanori hakama Gentaro wears). Has a design on her hakamashita (the kimono that goes under the hakama), unlike Kuko. Has longer hair than Gentaro does, but only to keep a (red) bow in it.

Constantly procrastinating before deadlines.

Dice -> Nana (奈々, sounds like the Japanese word for "seven")

A gambler who would gamble away everything...but her undergarments.

Jakurai -> Teruko (輝子, meaning “shining child”, playing on both the holy imagery and the “thunder” in "Jakurai")

A genius doctor with a mysterious past. Occasionally ties up her hair when treating patients, but is not known for braiding it. (Therefore, any braiding is probably Kazuko's fault.)

Teruko is shorter than Jakurai, but tall for a woman.

Hifumi -> ひふみ [just change name to hiragana]

A popular hostess at a hostess club. Seen as extremely shy because she can't really handle her coworkers without her jacket.

Hifumi faints upon first seeing the transformation and has a much harder time getting used to the genderswap than the others.

Doppo -> Ayumi (歩) [could also be called Tokiko (国子)] (both are puns on Kunikida Doppo)

A long-haired office lady who has no notable characteristics (see the Delinquent Policeman ARB event for what she looks like).

Sasara -> [no change, because apparently Sasara's name is feminine as it stands]

A manzai comedienne with long hair, pinned up at the back of her head with a large clip. Typically seen wearing gaudy dresses and even gaudier shoes.

Rosho -> Sumire (菫, meaning "violet (flower)", pun on the “azalea” in the surname, since azaleas are normally pink and Rosho is purple-themed)

A maths teacher and former manzai comedienne with Sasara. Looks old-timey, but is actually only 26. Wears round glasses for cosmetic/sentimental reasons.

Rei -> [no change] [could also be called "Reiko" (零子)]

A self-styled “conwoman” and the mother (?) of the Yamada sisters.

Kuko -> 空子 (same pronunciation, one different kanji) [Possible spoiler for the Harmonious Cooperation drama track: if you don't mind overlapping with Hitoya's brother, you could call her "Sora" (空)]

A former delinquent lady, currently in training to be a shrine maiden. Seems like a bit of an airhead (<-pun on her name), but would never be unfaithful to anything she's dedicated to.

Jyushi -> Tsukiko (月子)

A timid visual-kei (dansou-wearing) vocalist who occasionally hams it up with chuunibyou. To the fans of Argo Kushii Gakudan, it’s a secret that she’s a girl…

Hitoya -> Yui (由衣, a pun on 獄衣 gokui (prison uniform))

A money-grubbing lawyer with a bob and a pencil skirt. Seems like a strict obasan, but is actually kind (LOL).

Update: Tweaked various things around to better work with the AU plus to mark a spoiler...Also, I know I changed Kuko's entire raison d'etre, and apparently there are female Japanese Buddhist monks, but...can you see a female Kuko being one? No? Didn't think so. That's why, despite my best efforts, fem!Gentaro and fem!Kuko's outfits overlap to some extent, although a shrine maiden has a haori while a Taisho schoolgirl has a hakamashita.

Quirk Weather manipulation,- able to control weather with emotions and to her will and make it to a powerful attacks, since she master it she can able to create almost anytime if natural impacts, with her quirk tool she can make the weather to use as a weapon against her opponents like wind and lighting, she created a to powerful move that can seriously hurt her called natural disaster. The down size is she would loose oxygen around her or herself. Master her quirk.

At a young age Miku got the short end of the stick at life not knowing her biological parents and living with a abuse stepfather and his girlfriend (who was nice to her and treated her like a daughter) one day she left couldn't take it anymore but she couldn't take miku with her ( miku never hold a grudge against her) when she got her quirk she had a hard time controlling it due to her abuse and lack of confidence. One day her stepdad kicked her out of the house and she went to live on her own scared and confused she live on the streets and abandoned buildings for a couple of years without anyone knowing.

She was in a bad situation and unable to control her quirk she felt like there's no hope for her until she was founded by principle nezu who was in a witnessing a small storm surrounding one building which is worth investigating and saw a scared little girl who needed help and guidance they talk for a bit and saw she calm down after that she was able to live with him in secret till she gotten into UA

She was shy and clumsy at first but then she meets midnight who take a likening to her and instantly became best friends later she becomes smitten with aizawa and he was able to help her a bit with her quirk soon she also became friends with mic, noir, and oboro. Later she became more stronger and confident in herself along with a teacher clash helping her (along with midnight helping her femininity).

After oboro death she tried to get back closer to shouta but he kept pushing her away and made her feel lost again. Soon she heard her stepdad was back in town and worry he will find her and go back to the way to her old childhood. During one night she was knock out and woke up in a secluded area where her stepdad and a bunch of guys were going to sell her due to her body and quirk but he decided to roughen her up a bit

Luckily shouta and clash were able to find her and a brawl begin to happen but soon clash died in front of her crying her eyes out but he is telling he never regretted meeting her, soon her mind just snap and her quirk begin to go outrage and created her most powerful and dangerous move Natural Disaster, shouta tries his hardest to stop her with his quirk and she collapsed with her air out of her. Miku woke up in the hospital learning that her ex stepdad and gang were arrested after seeing the unusual weather pattern occurred.

Shouta came to visit her and apologize to her for treating her cold, learning about that move she wanted to learn to control but shouta doesn't want to her to use that move ever again due to almost losing her he cry and begged her so she agree to never use natural disaster again. Soon the rest of second and third year flew by in a breeze.

Soon she became the hero commission lap dog along with gizmo who she became friends, having her title as a powerhouse hero made her look dangerous and wild with her personality trait change in high school, she was able to be friends with the others but the commission kept her on a tight leash from time to time. She was hearing about the vigilantes and kept an eye out on them. Later she team up with eraserhead to send them to a shipyard looking for drugs smuggling, during the raid they both went into a building to look for the last man and saw a another man dress in white came out of nowhere and attack them with unusual tools, then suddenly at the end everything went bright and she heard shouta scream her name.

Tempest wakes ups in a old cell and wearing scrubs she soon comes face to face with widow a super villain with a human like spider with a grin a she can never forget, soon she learn that no one is going to save her because they all believe she is dead so she tries to escape multiple times but with all the drugs places in her she was loosing momentum and the will to fight back, with widow torture her she was loosing her sanity from her, time went by and her body was becoming numb but she was able to train herself but not too much she didn't know what widow was up to but it wasn't good. Widow taken a piece of her quirk and give it to nine as an exchange not to expose her.

Few years later she saw that widow taking children in the place and one by one they endure so much pain and sadness she went to helping them heal a bit and caring for them but soon her mind was going numb until bakugou, deku, and shoto came in and finding out they know about shouta.

Soon she was taken to widow for the final drug in her to complete called Breakpoint with injection her her mind becoming numb and memories becoming mess up she was under the influence of the drug making her under widows control, she had sent her to the city to cause mayhem with her quirk, she was force to to fight others as well as midnight thinking she and the other abandoned her, later she finds mrs joke and eraserhead together but for something inside of her refuses to fight him for her feelings of him are still in her, she then was face to face with him and kiss shouta then collapse due to the drug wear off. Eraserhead takes her to safety due to hearing that widow will put another injection in her if so she will be completely under control or her body will shut down due to drugs organ failure.

After everything she was joyous as the nightmare was finally over but scared of facing does that forgotten of her but nezu and others welcome her back with open arms after she was discharges from the hospital and will needed to take hero therapy she also learn that half of the missing kids would be going to UA and the war that occur from heroes vs villains she begin to reunited with old and meeting new heroes and thanking deku for defeating widow for her she will regain her title as a pro hero again .

She will be there for class 2-A and train them for she will be a teachers assistant later in life she has become closer to Aizawa and see where this leads. She is still one of the most powerhouse heroes still and hopes there will be a better generation for them. She will keep a lookout on widow since she was sent to tarturas thinking this will not be the last time she hears about her.

BNHA Imagine:

Imagine being like Bottle Miku. Your quirk is obviously water manipulation. You can dissolve into water but your hair stays the same when you change back. Since your hair is water, you can change the length of it, short like a pixie cut or as big as a tsunami. You spend most of the near water and make little water figures, like say you imagine a butterfly, then a couple of butterflies made out of water appear and dance around you. You can also do what water type pokemons can do. You can also breathe underwater. You can even make your hair boiling hot or freezing cold. So that also means you can control any kind of water or liquid.

I’m debating on either making Backdraft your uncle or something, or making Kota Izumi your cousin. Maybe both if you want.

You also bring fish food for the fishes you have swimming in your hair.

You went to the same school as Deku and Kacchan.
