warnings: none. both are hot heads but it be cute shit. but it will have some bad language.
summary: mickey offers male!gallagher a one time run with his brothers. it goes south, both reader & mickey are hot heads who get angry and end up in a fight. kinda almost sexual tension i guess with some angst. not really romantic though. no punches thrown, just screaming at each other.
a/n: enjoy. i'm not the proudest of this one, i don't really know how i feel about this one in general. i hope its what you wanted though.
Mickey calls to me from across the street, "Hey Gallagher!"
I respond to him with a, "What the fuck do you want Milkovich?"
He beckons me over and offers me a one time job to help him and his brothers do a job with a pretty good fucking payout. I accept the job because the money would help out my family and I a lot.

Mickey, his brothers, and I are in their van dressed up in all black getting ready to hit the place up. One of Mickey's brothers has it on good authority that this rich ass family is out of town for a few days so were hitting the place to grab some stuff to sell and grab their cash that they have in a safe.
We get into the place smoothly and already have a few bags loaded up with various items when we go to move onto the safe with the cash when the old guy comes out with a gun pointed right at us.
He's screaming at as while we fucking blast out of there before we get our heads blown off by some guy whose not supposed to be home right now all the while loosing a whole bunch of shit from the bags on our way out.
I'm fucking seething. Nobody was supposed to be home. It was supposed to be an easy job with a decent payout while running no risks whatsoever. But of course Mickey's intel was shit.
We're both in each others faces, screaming at each other pissed off. Him pissed off that we lost a lot of the shit while on our way out. Me pissed off that I could have fucking died or gone to jail for Mickey's bad intel.
We both finish at the same time right up in each other's faces breathing heavily. We're both staring at each other. It's almost as if we're in one of those dumbass romantic movies where the two lovers are standing in the rain staring at each other as they realize that they love each other.
Fucking as if. Mickey Milkovich, the guy who almost got me shot in the face. If only.

mickey would so pretend to lose a game for ian to finally win and i love that for them
anon….. for sure. i think i have a headcanon somewhere about this but it’s totally my fav thing. ian is definitely super awful at video games but enters any game with this extreme-confidence that this is the time he will finally win. which mickey of course knows is totally bullshit. mickey and carl will team up beat the shittttt out of lip and ian. one day though, ian is convinced he can take on both mickey and carl on his own…
“Just fuck-up this one, man,” Mickey whispers to Carl, nudging him on the shoulder while Ian’s back is turned.
“What, man fuck that?” Carl whisper-yells back, “He’s the one talking a big game.”
Mickey catches a glimpse of Ian hyping himself up before turning back to Carl, “Okay how about fumble this game and i won’t scoop your eyeballs out with a fucking kitchen spoon.” He smiles complacently.
Carl rolls his eyes to the back of his head, “Fuck. Fine.”
Mickey begins to question his decisions as Ian leaps 10-feet-in-air after “beating” the two, spouting absolute puffed-up nonsense.
He elbows Carl hard in the side as he opens his mouth, knowing he intended fully on antagonizing Ian with their plan.
After about another half hour of Ian’s reveling in his win, Carl leaves, giving Mickey a quick middle finger on his way out.

Ian rolls over to face Mickey as they’re in bed that night, “You told Carl to let me win didn’t you?”
“Nah man. That was all you. Fair and square.” Mickey lies, eyes fixated on the ceiling with a small smile.
“Mhm sure,” Ian rolls his eyes, shifting to lay his head in the crook of Mickey’s neck and his arms wrapped tightly around his torso.
Mickey’s hand moves to Ian’s hair, running his fingers through it gently as Ian whispers a muffled “Liar” into Mickey’s neck.
Mickey does respond, just grins to himself and continues taking his hands through the tuft of orange curls as they both drift to sleep

He tries to pull away.
Tries to be anywhere but here.
His husband’s hand on his shoulder grips him like a vice. Like the grip he wished he had had that first time.
Ian feels the other arm wrap around him.
His warmth feels like filling lungs and clearer minds. Ian’s chest heaves against Mickey’s. The space feels claustrophobic, yet somehow simultaneously also cocooning.
“It’s okay. Just let me.”
He wants to. He wants desperately to let his husband take care of him.
But he can’t…

"mmmph, fiona," y/n slurs between kisses from her girlfriend. "you're so perfect."
fiona smiles against y/n's lips, not wasting any time pressing hers against them again.
fiona and y/n had decided to keep their relationship under wraps for a while, not wanting to create any commotion.
considering that fiona had never dated a woman before and that their brothers were dating, it would be quite a shock.
nonetheless, the chemistry between them was too strong, and became undeniable.
luckily, it had been possible for them to spend time together when the kids were at school or when fiona was able to sneak off.
fiona climbs on top of y/n, the kiss heating up by the second.
fiona and y/n are too captivated by each other for either of them to hear fiona's bedroom door opening.
"hey fiona, mickey and i are gonna go to- oh, what the fuck?"
it's ian, and he's standing in the doorway with his mouth agape.
behind him is mickey, y/n's younger brother, staring blankly at the scene in front of him.
fiona practically leaps off y/n's lap, knowing they had been caught.
"i, um, ian, i thought you were out for the day?" fiona mutters, flustered by the situation.
"you guys don't knock around here?" y/n jests, trying to provide comic relief. fiona giggles, but ian and mickey are still frozen in shock.
"okay hold on a minute, you two are... fucking? or what?" mickey speaks, gesturing with his hands as he does.
"um, more than that," fiona responds first, noticing that y/n appears slightly unnerved by her brother's reaction.
ian and mickey look at each other, both cracking a smile.
"we both thought we were the gay siblings, jesus," ian laughs, the rest of the room following.
"no better connection than a gallagher and a milkovich, i guess," mickey adds, looking at ian. "right ian?" he says, giving his boyfriend a gentle smack on the ass.
"at least we got a room, unlike you two freaks," fiona quips.
"at least we told you we were dating," ian teases, hoping for a reaction from his sister.
he gets one, with fiona standing and starting to chase him.
left alone in the room, mickey and y/n look at each other for a few seconds.
"y/n?" mickey breaks the silence first.
"yeah?"
"if ian's sister..."
"fiona," y/n interrupts.
"yeah, fiona, whatever, if she hurts you..."
"you don't have to be so protective, mickey. she is to me what ian is to you. you know that."
mickey softens, swallowing the rest of his words.
"fine. just, lock the door if you ever have her over to our house, would you?"

Stranger Things
Chrissy Wake Up
Chrissy has nightmares and looks to Eddie for help. She also begins to lose the chains that her mother and Jason tie her down with thanks to Eddie's help and acceptance.
The New Girl At Hawkins High
Eddie Munson x Plus size reader where the reader is new to Hawkins and Eddie is drawn to her. Inviting her to join Hellfire for the night.
Gallavich/Shameless
Can We Skip To The Good Stuff
Mandy drags Mickey to a concert where they have a VIP pass to play dodgeball with the band and the crew, Mickey clocks the redhead in the face, gets taken back by security and talks with the redhead, hitting it off. Only when he sees Ian on stage does he realize he's the main singer.
The Upside
After Ian is injured after a bipolar manic episode that leaves him with c7 quadriplegia and in a wheelchair his older sister and brother decide he needs a caretaker.
Mickey is needing a job to appease his parole officer when he accidentally applies as Ian's life auxiliary. Which means up close and personal time with the redheaded boss.
Spare Parts
After a run with Terry goes bad and Mickey is shot, he has to undergo surgery to get his right arm and his right leg. His world is turned upside down as he tries to rehabilitate and cope with the sudden changes he is going through.
Ian is a physical therapist dealing with inner mental health problems and is working at Mountain Heights Physical Therapy when a tough looking brunette woman comes in to make an appointment for her brother.
Knight in a Shining Youber
Mickey is an uber driver, one night picking up a couple from the Fairy Tale he realizes the ginger is drugged out of his mind and the geriatric fuck he's with is taking advantage of him. Mickey takes Ian somewhere safe until he can sober up and tell him where he can take him.
Ian doesn't have anywhere to go, he's in dept to a drug dealer and he's recently been abused in several ways and his mind is all fucked up. When he wakes up to an unfamiliar surroundings with a blue eyed man making breakfast he doesn't know what to think, where to go. But Mickey is there to help.
Once Upon a Food Truck
Mickey and Ian are rival food truck operators in Chicago and when they begin fighting over a parking spot it starts to get personal with views being racked up on social media, the rivals decide a little fake dating for the fans will get them both plenty of customers. But the fake dating starts getting a little more realer than the two planned.
Valorous Vigilantes
Ian is an EMT when he gets a call to go to the Alibi where there's a fight happening. He's surprised to see Mickey Milkovich getting beat close to death by his father, even more surprised to find out that Terry was beating him because Mickey came out as "a big ol mo." Ian picks Mickey up and takes him to the hospital.
Once admitted Ian visits him and finds out more about Mickey than he had planned.
Big Top Beloveds
(This one doesn't get regularly updated, I just needed to get this bit out of my head.)
Mickey Milkovich is the new Circus Ringmaster/owner of the Gallagher Circus, Terry won it from Frank as a form of payment and is throwing the responsibility to Mickey, thinking it's a shit job.
Mickey, completely out of his element, starts changing things around much to the irritation and anger of some members there, the tall redhead being one of them.
Ian Gallagher is one of the acrobats and aerial performers of his father's circus, when a new ringmaster joins them and starts to change shit around Ian is pissed, until he realizes that the new ringmaster is the man with the stunning blue eyes from before.

Hey, Arrow! Yesterday's speedwrite was sooo good. Would you consider writing something exploring the mugging where the guy ran off after he saw Mickey's tattoos, or Ian sitting on Mickey's lap at the park to piss off some housewife? I'd be super interested to read more about either one of those scenarios!
Thanks for prompting me Jessie! I wrote the park scene yesterday, and here’s a little blurb about the failed mugging.
They’re walking down the street to the corner store, minding their own damn business on a critical quest for cheap booze, when a stranger darts out of the alley and presses a gun to Mickey’s back.
Mickey stops still, hands partially raised. It takes Ian a moment to notice that he’s no longer beside him, before he’s stopping a few strides ahead and turning back with a question on his face.
The question turns to horror so fast it gives Mickey whiplash.
“Gimme your wallet,” hisses the stranger with the gun, voice low and threatening. Mickey sees a hand pop over his shoulder to gesture at Ian when he adds, “your little boyfriend, too.”
Ian immediately reaches for his pocket, but Mickey just rolls his eyes at him and gives a minute shake of his head. Ian hesitates, but stops and leaves his hands loose at his sides. His fingers are twitching with nerves, and Mickey wants nothing more than to still them with his own, but he has to take care of this first.
“We don’t got nothin’ worth stealin’, man,” he says, much too lightly for the situation. He can feel the armed man at his back tense, the gun digging a little deeper into his spine, and winces at the pressure.
“Sure you do,” is the response he gets. “Couple a rich queers like you could bankroll me for months, so hand it over before I start gettin’ antsy.”
“Rich?” Mickey snorts at that, arms dropping a fraction before a nudge with the gun gets them back up. “I’m wearin’ a fuckin’ torn hand-me-down shirt and used boots, man, who you callin’ rich?”
“Mickey,” Ian starts, but he’s silenced by their would-be-mugger.
“Listen to your boytoy, he knows what’s up,” the man tries. He’s starting to sound less confident, but no less desperate. “You’re wanderin’ around the Westside unarmed and unaware, so don’t try to play me.”
“How you know I ain’t packing?” Mickey asks, and feels the muzzle slip against his back for a split second.
Then Ian just has to chime in. “Mickey,” he hisses earnestly, “you promised no guns.”
Oh, for—
Mickey gets a whack to the back of the head from the mugger’s free hand for that, and he’s finally had about enough. He sighs, eyes heavenward, before dropping his arms and taking a step forward.
“Hey!” the mugger shouts, moving with him to keep the weapon at his back. “I got a gun on you man, I know you ain’t walkin’ away from me!” Ian’s face is stuck on shock, mouth open and eyes wide at Mickey’s audacity, and he can’t take these two idiots any longer.
“That’s not even a real gun,” Mickey scoffs, stepping away again and turning to face his attacker. “I could feel the fucking plastic tip, you moron.”
Now that he’s facing him, Mickey can tell that the mugger is really just a kid. He looks almost the same age as Mickey was, the first time he got busted.
Maybe someone else would feel sympathy, at that, but Mickey is just irritated by it. Unless your father was Terry fuckin’ Milkovich, there was no real excuse for this shit.
The guy isn’t giving up, though, and he has to admit he admires the persistence just a little.
“You willing to bet your life that you can tell the difference?” the mugger challenges, and cocks his little pistol. He even turns it on its side, to look more intimidating, and Mickey almost wants to teach him how to hold it properly.
“Uh, yeah,” Mickey answers instead. “Had enough guns against me to know what cold metal feels like; I think I’ll take the fuckin’ risk.”
“You..,” the guy starts, then pauses as it sinks in. “Wait, what?”
Mickey takes advantage of his momentary confusion to grab the toy gun out of his hands, twirling it around in his fingers before holding it back out in a closed fist. He can tell when the kid registers his tattoos, his face going suddenly white as he reads them.
“Shit,” he breathes. “You’re not Westside.”
Mickey raises an eyebrow at him. “Uh, no,” he agrees. Then all he can see of his assailant is his back as he’s running away.
“Hey, you forgot your gun!” Mickey calls after him, still holding it out. The guy just glances back once over his shoulder before turning the next available corner out of sight, and Mickey shrugs, tucking the toy into his waistband.
He turns to see Ian watching him.
“What?” he asks, stepping closer. “Come on man, we gotta get movin’ if we want to grab shit before they close.”
“Mickey,” Ian says, refusing to budge. His voice was oddly flat, like it usually was when Mickey did something wrong. “Did you really know the gun was fake?”
Mickey dodges the question, faking offense by hitting Ian in the shoulder with the back of his hand. “You think I don’t know my guns, Gallagher?”
Ian takes the bait. “Hey, I never said that,” he corrects, “but you have to admit it was a risky move.”
Mickey sighs. “Ian, come on.” He spreads his hands out, raises his brows. “Fucking Lou could tell when my gun was fake, it’s not exactly rocket science.”
“Right, sure,” Ian accepts, nodding. “Cause you’d never do something stupid like egg on a trigger happy mugger, right Mick?”
“Right,” Mickey agrees easily. “Not with you around, at least,” he adds, and walks away before Ian can process the comment.
“What…Mickey!” he shouts after him when he does, loping to catch up before his husband turns the corner.
Mickey is laughing when Ian grabs his shoulder to turn him around, but Ian doesn’t find it so funny.
“Mickey, please tell me you aren’t serious,” he intones. “You promised you wouldn’t do stupid shit anymore.”
Mickey just rolls his eyes, and his shoulders, dislodging Ian’s hand. He makes up for it by throwing an arm around his waist, tugging until Ian starts walking with him again.
“Relax, Gallagher,” he says. “I said not with you around.” He looks up at Ian from the corner of his eye, a gentle-edged smirk on his lips. “And unless you’re plannin’ on leavin’ me—don’t fuckin’ interrupt, I know you’re not—you’re always gonna be around.”
Oh.
Okay then.
Ian gets his arm around Mickey’s shoulders, forcing them into an awkward swaying gait lest one of them lose their grip on the other.
“Soft,” he teases gently, and Mickey’s smirk softens into a smile.
“Yeah,” he agrees, “guess so.”
