Been thinking about Dottore and the segments being able to be a bit more rougher with fragile reader...

Naturally, due to your illness, your body probably can't handle anything too strenuous or rough treatment, you need to be treated with special care. Which is obviously a tall order, especially for the younger segments. The only time gentle comes into their body is when someone needs to be very carefully dissected. But they also do not want Prime to terminate them for putting a single scratch on you. So they kind of have to grow into the role bit by bit, but it gets easier when you initiate first. They'll just attempt to copy your movements. But an awkwardly placed hand on you somewhere is commonplace in the beginning.

But my point is Reader reaching a point where it's okay to no longer treat them too much like glass. Of course, precautions must still be made, but it's still a wonderful feeling. You can playfully punch a segment and get a little push back. Okay, now that I'm writing this I can't actually think of more examples. Perhaps the segments can also leave you some tasks and duties that they no longer have to watch over you for. Perhaps helping him with his research. Perhaps playfully starting a pillow fight but then getting knocked out cold accidentally by Webttore. I don't know. I think they'd start teasing you a lot more once you've reached this stage.

There's pain sensation in VR, and even a sense of reality and urgency. The only difference is that it isn't actually happening.

i just realized that just because i dont really draw or write doesnt mean i cant participate in metamy week. ill just do my silly headcanon ideas to help make people giggle over robots metamy week day 2: music/surprise metal wanted to surprise amy by proclaiming his love over a kareoke song, and stated singing his heart out. unfortunetley, metal doesnt have a voice box, and amy didnt recognize the bgm of whatever love song he picked.

Amy taking in a ratty Metal then him growing into his identity and tastes + ways of self-expression is highkey my favorite thing

Eggman did not design Metal to be fashionable through the ages fr. With Neo though it seems like Metal leaned into that part of himself 😂 At least it looks rad with a jacket ngl. Truly Bulma & Vegeta energy. 

Just them enjoying a day in town being a fashionable power couple <3 (and then the shitpost mini comic came along bc of brainrot). The jacket Metal wears in the first pic is actually based on a dream jacket design I thought of 😭 I am such an enamel pin hoarder and you know what, I think Metal would be too! I think he’d like having a fun little collection like that, and he’d love accessorizing but the intricacies of putting an outfit together for the day is too much effort so enamel pins are an easy constant. So it’s all because of autism you see- /j No but yeah Metal being allowed to have possessions and be an individual away from Eggman we love to see it. I struggled so much with designing the pins man, still not pleased with them overall but I had to declare this finished at some point it’s fineee Also I headcanon that Metal grows to slump his shoulders a lot because with Eggman he always had to be super rigid and perfect and stand straight as a rod, Eggman probably saying that slouching strains his mechanisms or something. But ayy now he can get a breather and Eggman can suck it, hah! Amy oils him and does other quality of life maintenance on him way more than Eggman ever did so bam it doesn’t even impact him. So yeah, Metal gets slouching rights to look even more gremlin and autistic…  /pos /lh  Also it compliments his shoulderpads lol.

No bc what if their theme color is the other’s eye color, bc Amy’s favorite color and what she wears is red but Metal’s is green bc green is associated with digital stuff and technology and oogfhbdcgsmdggdgfjjd I am so weak for them

Looking forward to having my brain full of them for the next year!! 🙂🙃
