J.K. Rowling has been proven right!
"The Cass Review is a damning indictment of what the NHS has been doing to children.
"Dr Hilary Cass has submitted her final report and recommendations to NHS England in her role as Chair of the Independent Review of gender identity services for children and young people.
"Hilary Cass’s report demolishes the entire basis for the current model of treating gender-distressed children. Its publication is a shameful day for NHS England, which for too long gave vulnerable children harmful treatments for which there was no evidence base. It’s now clear to all that this was quack medicine from the start.
"Dr Cass delivers stinging criticisms of NHS gender clinics, both adult and child, and her description of the Gender Identity Development Service is absolutely damning. It is disgraceful that GIDS, alongside the adult clinics, did not cooperate with her attempt to survey its practice, or to carry out a high-quality, long-term follow-up study on the treatment of children as part of the review, which would have been a global first."
You can read the entire review here. (pdf)
"Glinner" is Graham Linehan, a writer, screenwriter, and comedian who's been fighting against transitioning minors for years, losing friends, his job, and his agent along the way. But he's kept on fighting.

The tide has turned in the UK and in Europe. When will American media finally begin reporting on the closing of "gender clinics" and the bans on puberty blockers for children? I figure nothing will happen here in the U.S. until the lawsuits start flooding in. It's already begun. And with proof like the Cass Review and the WPATH files, it's going to be very, very difficult for clinics, doctors, and therapists to continue lying about how transitioning does no permanent and irreversible physical and psychological harm.

A Guide for Choosing Sleep Medicine EHR
Selecting the best electronic health records system for your sleep medicine lab can be challenging with so many options available, especially if you've never used an EHR before and are unsure of what to anticipate. After all, if EHR software is created to fit the needs of the business and align with its processes, it may be a potent tool that helps sleep medicine clinics streamline operations and enhance patient care. You can contact EMR EHRS for all your EMR or EHR software requirements.
Fortunately, selecting the finest sleep medicine EHR software for your lab is within reach with the correct tools and information. Before you start the selection procedure, be aware of the following:
1. Recognize the demands of your sleep facility
What you want the system to accomplish for your institution will have a big impact on your decision about the best EHR software. Consider the requirements of your sleep medicine lab as well as your long-term objectives. For instance, if you buy an EHR just because you have to for Meaningful Use without considering the system's other features (or lack thereof), you could regret your decision months from now.
Consider a full system including modules for scheduling, medical billing, and perhaps even a patient portal if you're looking to cut costs. The billing process will be streamlined and automated thanks to integration across various platforms. Patients will find it simpler to pay their bills if a patient portal is included with online bill pay. By transferring operations online, other portal services like appointment scheduling and requests for medicine refills would lessen the effort for employees.
Advanced appointment management software, especially sleep medicine EMR software that enables schedule management by provider or bed, is extremely crucial. Regardless of whether you manage a single sleep medicine lab or a number of locations, a tool like this may make your staff's duties easier.
You could also want a system that can provide thorough reports depending on the parameters of your choice in order to improve patient care. For instance, you could want to run a report that lists all patients with sleep apnea, diabetes, and inconsistent lab results in order to better track at-risk patients. Whether it’s a health records system for your sleep medicine lab or physical therapist software, make sure that you choose a reputable provider.
2. Ensure that the software may be customized
Following the definition of the features you need in an EHR and the specifications for your sleep facility, you should focus on two factors: compatibility and customization. This entails ensuring that the sleep medicine EHR software can be adjusted to meet the demands of your organization and that it can integrate easily with other systems in your lab and external sleep testing equipment (such as continuous positive airway pressure machines).
Remember that customization goes beyond just providing specialty-specific templates and forms in the EHR. This is something that many EHR providers offer, despite its importance. The ability of the top providers' software to correspond with your company's process is what will really set them apart. The top manufacturers will have previously taken into account the procedures utilized in sleep medicine labs when designing their software, and they will make it as easy to use as possible.
3. Be informed of the support you will receive
Problems will occur even with the greatest EHR systems, whether it be a technical issue or a lack of knowledge with a certain function that needs more thorough training. Never be afraid to inquire about the vendor's level of support or the accessibility of their technical support staff. Good customer service goes a long way in both scenarios. This will avoid unpleasant surprises later on, such as additional fees for staff training or after-hours assistance.
If you’re looking for good sleep medicine EHR software, you can get in touch with EMR EHRS.
