Founded by Fahim Aref, Pious Project's has the mission to empower everyone to make a difference--one good deed at a time. They have created a way to take part in global humanitarian, charitable projects, including donating and volunteering.

Currently, they are raising funds to donate hygiene kits to menstruating people in Gaza. The value of each one is $20, which contains sanitary pads, tissues, wipes, a hairbrush, toothpaste, toothbrush and other items.
How can I donate?
The following is the link that will take you directly to the page, once there you will click on the button that says "Donate."

If you are not logged in, it will ask you to create an account. You should receive an email welcoming you, as well as a direct link to the website.
The next thing that will appear are three options:
You can enter the amount you want to donate (USD), or instead, donate a specific amount to pay for from 1 to 50 entire kits. If you choose the second option, don't worry, each option tells you how many kits you are donating for!
The most important thing is to keep in mind that you will have the option to only donate once or monthly.
Finally, you will only have to fill out the details of your card or bank and that's it! You will have donated to the cause

This has been such a huge, incredibly weekend for MCYT fans.
First we had the Halloween themed MCC, always a blast. Hermitcraft had the huge King's Vault server event. That was just Saturday.
Now today we had Scar's huge Hermitcraft charity livestream day ($410+ at the moment of writing) and oh my gosh it has done so much good. Plus we got the Empires SMP server interacting with the Rift, receiving a message from Hermitcraft, canonically linking them together. And Grian's episode further confirming this link and promising more.
AND we had a huge Egg Lore event on the DSMP side of things, the return of multi-pov lore, and promise for MORE lore in the future! Ah!

(openly) bisexual, biracial, bilingual streamer who definitely doesn't have a chip on his shoulder. henry is White Boy Of The Month, a casual builder who originally only streamed his weekly bujo setup until he picked up minecraft on recommendation from a fan. nora is a redstoner, notorious for making absolutely no sense. pez started MCC and 7 different SMPs and a million other one-off charity events. june is a booktuber, has collabed with henry and stubbornly refuses to touch minecraft.
arthur still was james bond. phillip is a former child actor, still acting and desperately trying not to have a Complex. bea is a child star turned singer-songwriter. henry had maybe two roles before he quit (he's still alex's bisexual awakening).

I got one of the Technoblade YouTooz plushies, only to give it away.
A little bit of backstory.
I am a cancer survivor and hearing Techno approaching his diagnosis with humor and charity was encouraging. So I got the plushie to support the cause more than for myself. Sure its worth something as a collectable, but I still have stuffed animals from my own childhood and this was something I would never create memories with as I did with my old ones.
It would be great someone could cherish it as something more.
My friend's daughter is a mcyt fan. She isn't old enough to care about the drama. The sort of kid that shows up in the YouTube video comments section. I mentioned to her about Ranboo coming out and she quietly talked about her own questioning, which is fine, but I don't think she has told her parents, or step parent/siblings either. She is being bullied for being into mcyt and dsmp, "because its for babies".
Today, I gave it to her. She was ecstatic, carefully taking it from the box and omg-ing over it. I told her that Minecraft isn't for kids. The difference in our ages is over 40 years, but we can gush about MCC, the great potato war, manhunt or hermitcraft...and its going to be okay.
I think my plushie has a good home.

Can I point out how genius it was for Dream to encourage Karl and Foolish in Dodgebolt?
Aqua really was going to target Dream and George the whole time. They were acting like they were just fodder and that psychologically affects one's confidence in both teams.
You saw it real time as Dream realized and flipped the script for them. Let Karl and Foolish take shots.
Opponents did not anticipate or know their skill level. But Dream knows Foolish has been grinding on the practice server and Karl, who no one takes seriously, actively blocking shots from hitting him and George. There were times he noted things they did well and that they were all performing in the top 20. Foolish's Mom called Dream, "Coach" and she was not wrong in that.
That faith went a long way to hype them. It threw Aqua off enough. Karl and Foolish popped off and it was like Dream played a trap card or something.
The event as a whole was amazing, and I appreciate everyone that participated, but I will remember it for Dream reminding his team that they did it together and that was how they were gonna win.

i’ve had some sleep and i wanna put my thoughts down now. i’m gonna put it below the cut for any of my followers who don’t want this on their dash right now which i totally understand - but i wanna share with you all how i’m gonna remember technoblade.
i got into modern mcyt through smplive. i watched a lot of the lunch club guys, mainly schlatt and carson. i remember vividly watching them both during every minecraft monday, feverishly jumping between perspectives. i found techno then, and as most, i had no idea who he was. he was really good at pvp and dominated that competition, and that’s pretty much all we knew him as. i remember liveblogging the event to my friends and getting excited over how good he was, or posting memes on reddit about it. after schlatt and techno teamed for a week, i fell in love with his humor and personality and subscribed. it was one of the best decisions of my life.
smpearth wasn’t perfect, of course, but techno, together with pete and phil, took it and made something special and unforgettable. the antarctic empire pulled some of the best stunts i have ever seen on an smp, and the saint-malo trials is still one of the funniest events i was ever lucky enough to witness real time. i remember refreshing the smpearth map excitedly and laughing when i saw everything claimed by the empire - you have to have one kind of a brain to pull something like that off, and i’m never going to forget how fun and just... utterly ridiculous it was. thank you for the laughs.
the potato war speaks for itself. it was absurd, and watching it happen in real time was unreal. every update, every change in numbers, every taunt back and forth between techno and squid. it was intense, and at the same time so, so stupid. thanks for teaching me sun tzu quotes, of all things, while watching a minecraft skyblock video. and congrats on winning. you deserved it.
when wilbur and tommy were exiled from l’manberg and techno tweeted at them talking about helping out, i got so incredibly excited. it was minecraft mondays and smpearth all over again, in one. his character on the dsmp was one of the most unique and fascinating ones, he always cared about telling a good story, and he changed the flow of the storyline in so many unique ways. i don’t think anything on there would be the same without him. he made one of my favorite characters and at the same time made me hate him to his very core. i’m really gonna miss all of his storylines and the interesting things he came up with. it’s just not gonna be the same without him.
techno cared about his community and you could see that in everything he did. be it his interactions with his fans or even going out of his way to give us a final message, he always put us first and there are few youtubers who can say they are the same. he gave us great content, made us laugh every single day and made sure we got a final goodbye.
alex was a selfless, kind person who raised thousands for various charities over the years, and who raised the money to let his siblings go to college. he tricked all of us into thinking he was called dave, so fair play to him for that. i hope his family is doing okay and know how loved he was. i wish i could have gotten to know him personally, and gotten to tell him all of this myself. he sounded like an absolutely amazing person to know.
thank you for everything. blood for the blood god, technoblade never dies, etc, etc. i hope you’re happy wherever you are now, and know how much we will all miss you. things just won’t be the same on mcyt without you. i like to think god hesitated a lot more than you thought he would.

I'm a fan of MCYT, Dream SMP, you know the whole shebang. A while ago, a friend pointed out to me while organizations like the Trevor Project get a lot of coverage from streamers, American and British alike, they wished that UK based organizations would get more attention.
That message kind of inspired me. I didn't skim too deep, but I did amass of twenty organizations, all global or UK based, that perhaps you should consider donating to!
(admittedly, I did mostly go to their about sections, so if there is any misinformation, please inform me!)
The Proud Trust
The Proud Trust is an LGBT+ organisation that supports LGBT+ young people through youth groups, peer support, mentoring programs and the Proud Connections chat service.
Mermaids
Mermaids has been supporting transgender, nonbinary and gender-diverse children, young people, and their families since 1995.
AKT
akt supports lgbtq+ young people aged 16-25 in the uk who are facing or experiencing homelessness or living in a hostile environment.
Galop

I agree im a bit annoyed that they put the rules like that for the awards, esp bc it's so clearly biased, like 'minecrafters' are only allowed to be nominated in that category but like usually every streamer has a main thing, or something they stream a lot and no one else is being restricted to only one category, like Obviously hasan is gonna be nominated for political streamer but there's no rule for him not being nominated anywhere else?? I think it's a mix of being scared of the sheer numbers the mc fandom has, and pandering to lsf frogs, but its just frustrating to see. Also I think they could've just tried like, sorting through the nominee list manually instead of straight-up banning, idk kinda annoying as a situation
no i agree and i have to assume it's hard for the people branded as "crafters" because they play on the dsmp once a month and compete in mcc. ultimately it isn't just about this one awards show, it's about the twitch community as a whole refusing to acknowledge the extremely variety-oriented dsmp members (because lets be honest, it's really just the dsmp members) as variety -- connor and jack have been somewhat successful, but those are really outlying cases. obviously i'm not arguing for like, philza to count in the variety category or whatever. but off the top of my head i can name minimum 10 dsmpers who frequently stream other shit and should be eligible for like, the valo category or the fps category or any of the non-game-specific ones like rising star or best charity events or best irl streams. i don't know why so many people in the variety community insist on catering exclusively to the lsf frogs (<- who are frequently misogynistic) and alienating the mcyt fans, when a TON of mcyt fans also watch variety content. i think your point about them being scared of the # of mcyt fans is also true, but ultimately they're rigging the voting process to purposefully not reflect the popularity of a massive category of streamers just because they don't like their stans. variety twitter stans are less volatile than the mcyt stans maybe, but they certainly aren't less mean -- if they're going to listen to some teenagers on the internet, they should listen to all of them. i'm not trying to trend qtcinderella neg, like i said i'm a huge fan of hers, but to see this division being drawn constantly is just kind of frustrating. a solid half of content i watch is variety, whether that's from people branded as "crafters" or not.

Something I've wanted to adress to Tumblr for a while about the way they've handled MCYT, sometimes very poorly and misinformed.
1. MCYT is a GIANT category
MCYT literally stands for Minecraft YouTube. This applies to LITERALLY ANYONE WHO HAS EVER POSTED A MINECRAFT VIDEO! Hermitcraft? Mcyt. Dream smp? Mcyt. Any lets player or game focused channel who's played Minecraft in a single video or series? Mcyt. Old channels who stopped posting Minecraft years ago like yogscast and skydoesminecraft? Mcyt. Random 13 year old posting a video on their phone? MCYT. Are there bad apples in that group? Yes, but don't let that take away from the thriving communities and wonderful creators also on the platform, many of which content creation is their job and source of income.
2. MCC (Minecraft champions)
Mcc is a completely non profit event designed solely for entertainment with preassigned teams. If you don't like a player being grouped with another, or hate a single player in the event, don't try to drag the whole event down with it. This is, in all honesty, an awe inspiring event. One tournament can have more viewers than the OLYMPICS, and have had tournaments where all procedes from streamers go to charity. Dismissing or hating the event for one individual goes against the good and the wonder such an event has created.
3. Dream smp, and the lack of information and respect it is given.
A lot of people complain "it's just a bunch of chist white men" which is both 1. Disrespect and 2. Objectively wrong. This actively disregards any female (ninachu, captain puffy, etc), LGBTQ (eret, antfrost, ninachu, etc), and minority (skeppy, ponk, quackity, etc) content creators. Additionally, a vast majority of the content creators heavily support their communities, especially their lgbtq fans, like philza, tommyinnit, and technoblade. These people have made a community where channels have grown exponentially (some even appearing on the news!), communities have flourished (theres a reason it is usually the one that glitches into 1st place on trending, hell, full songs and multi millions view animatics exist on YouTube), and friends have been made both in the server and the community, all of this without even mentioning the hard work put into the server's story and events.
4. Dream, and his impact on mcyt...
I'll preface this by saying: i don't personally like dream as a person. I disagree with his political opinions and he has done and said messed up things. If we are talking about his impact on mcyt though? He's an (unfortunately) vital player. His large subscriber and viewer count helped not only revive minecraft for the general public, but actively helped and continues to help grow the channels of the people he plays with (the dream team, all dream smp members, any mcc team mates, etc). His precense in videos also MASSIVELY increases success by nearly every recordable statistic for anyone who joins his server (ranboo, philza, ponk, quackity, technoblade, etc etc etc), many of which had a significantly lower subscriber and viewer count before the smp. The same can be said for events he's in, such as mcc. Finally, his role in the dream smp. He's by no means a main character, hell, he's not only the main villain, but has been locked in the servers prison for months now with maybe an appearance in a stream once every month or 2. Additionally, he never streams specifically to avoid taking away the spotlight from other creators in the server. Do I agree with a lot of the things he's said or done? No. Do I think his wrongdoings should drag down a large group of extraordinary talented players and content creators, all of which part of one connected story they all put together with love and care, with a massive wonderful community full of loving and talented individuals? Absolutely not.
Basically, all the "dream smp fans don't interact" should be "dream stans and apologists don't interact" or something along those lines, dont drag down a whole community due to one bad apple, especially when half of them dont even know about or like said bad apple.
(Also side note i didn't know where to put. The fact it occasionally glitches out BLM and SAH is bullshit, but don't pretend that it's a MCYT exclusive thing. Shows and movies, video games, sports, and irl events have all taken it's place due to the glitchy unoptimized way tumblr pins those topics. In my opinion those 2 should have a whole separate page or area so they can't ever be unpinned via any large event like they currently do every day or 2. Tumblr thrives of of fandoms and the interactions in said fandoms (why supernatural, undertale, the lorax, etc. Became associated with tumblr to a degree), causing them to lose traction and feel out of place in a "trending tab" format, also fixing the "it glitching out of trending" issue.)
(Also you don't have to but please share this so more people know this and learn, lot of missinformatuon and straight up lies are spread about mcyt as a whole, commonly on blw and sah for some reason? Not blaming them at all, just a trend I've noticed)

as a fan of mcyt people since like 2014 and knowing how the internet environment was for mcyt creators back then, it is so heartwarming to see most of the OG's step out of their comfort zone and not have to be kid-friendly 24/7 since the culture surrounding minecraft has grown from "Ooh-A-Kiddie-Game-So-The-Content-Creators-Should-Be-Kiddie-Friendly" to "Minecraft-Isn't-Only-A-Kid's-Game-Anymore-So-You-Guys-Are-Allowed-To-Swear-Now". and also with said coming out of their comfort zone, we now have multiple content creators - both old and new - come out as part of the LGBTQ+ community and heck, HAVE AN ENTIRE MINECRAFT EVENT DEVOTED TO A CHARITY FOR LGBTQ+ KIDS AND DUDES BELIEVE ME, THIS WOULD'VE BEEN UNTHINKABLE BACK THEN. so um yea the current minecraft environment makes me so goddamn happy and it makes me glad to see how far we've come.
