I named the new character Mauthe, as suggested by a friend. It's a surname, apparently, but I don't care, I like it. I think of it as being pronounced like "moth," but "mahth." A heavy "th." I'm trying here. "Mawth."

by a strong majority I’ve been cast as a bug-type, with two votes for bug/fairy, so--here’s Mawth!!

Mawths live in orderly dens in the roots and hollows of trees in old growth oak forests. Shy and reclusive, these Pokemon are known to ignore the outside world and do whatever they want.

Occasionally, Mawths will seek out trainers, hoping to grant them a boon. If a trainer is rude or arrogant, Mawth will spam Moonlight and other healing moves until the trainer gets annoyed and flees the battle using a Pokedoll.
