For Haru’s fifth birthday, Cali promised her that she would take her and some of her friends to New York City for a weekend. Haru didn’t know much about it, she just knew it was big and full of cool stuff to do. She also knew that it was where her big sister is from so that made her extra excited. It took a ton of planning but now it was finally time! Haru has invited her best friends Hikari and Raiden. After some begging Haru was even able to convince Michi’s mom to let him come too!

Haru and I wake up early, I double check that everything is packed and then load my suitcase and Haru’s into the trunk of my car. I help Haru into her car seat and then begin driving to pick up Raiden.

Raiden raced out with his bags in tow. But not before his mom kissed him goodbye.

"Right on! We're gonna have us a family, buddy!" Jonny shouted to Plank, happily. "And what do we have here?" Edd asked about Hikari's egg. "Your egg looks adorable as you, Hikari. A perfect match." Edd smiled.
