I want to write a Twilight/Loid Forger smut so goddamn bad but I don't think anyone would give a fuck about it for real LMAO. So for fun, here is the idea that has been haunting my brain for months.
It's a couple years before Operation Strix is assigned to Twilight. You're an agent for WISE and Sylvia has called you in to assign you to a Honeypot mission, as she feels you are the target's ideal woman. However, Sylvia is wary of your romance skills and asks Twilight to give you some tips and tricks on how to properly seduce your target.

(( Inspired by the "Aphids" comic bc the dj bro panel had me cryin: https://www.tumblr.com/coridallasmultipass/746888021783298048?source=share ))
Probably went overboard editing this and trying to add emoji subtext, telling a story, you know the deal. Also, the needles evoke a Saw 2 vibe for me, but that's awesome. I'm all about that unsettling mind game shit (not pictured, but I have a spiral on my tongue piercing bead, because I'm dedicated to the aesthetic). Speaking of spirals, yes, that is a Kamina keychain on my phone. In fact, I have all four main characters danglin' off that motherfucker. Shit's heavy, but no pain, no gain. Gotta keep these strifin' fingers in shape, brah. Anyways. I got the green stuff, so hit me up.

the thing is i had this whole mystery story surrounding the rewrite of “sum of our parts” (tim’s ‘coming out’ in batman: urban legends) recontextualized within a post-crisis timeline and it was going to include the general lineup from the comic (i.e. steph, and kon) but given more narrative importance + adding in mirrored stories with cass and steph for added substance which tied in some things from convergence batgirl.
HOWEVER i had mr. dowd in a villain role (not of his own violation it was a possession thing) for added interest where i feel like the plot kinda fell short? as in actual bite in the whole cult of dionysus narrative. and admittedly i’m not terribly interested in his character. but after seeing the general consensus of people who like this guy, and by extension t/mber, i feel like i want to dial that back 1000% and just focus on the mystery of how weird nysa is and what led up to tim, cass, steph, and kon ending up there. TLDR: unsure if a more interesting narrative in my eyes is not worth getting any kind of discourse about. bro i got anxiety.

ngl. i thought it was silly when the "don't forget that snow is a bad guy!! don't forget that he's a villain!! don't forget that he's awful and selfish and obsessive and possessive and untrustworthy and [insert fifty other traits of his here]!!" posts started going around just before the tbosas movie dropped because i, a naive little baby clown, was like "lol.. who could possibly forget that? surely we all enjoy his villainy, don't we? that's why we read and liked the book after all. 🤨" and then. well. :)))))))))) 🤡🤡🤡🤡‼️‼️‼️ it turns out that was very much NOT the case and the fandom did 100% need those warnings and more. especially now, in these trying times for toxic tragedy enjoyers. 👍

As much as I love Frontiers, in retrospect there are some parts of it that feel GLARINGLY unfinished. I mean there's the obvious lack of polish and the pop-in issue but the more I think about it the more Rhea Island sticks out to me as unfinished.
There's so much space, so many little details and bits of ruins everywhere, but the lack of platforming structures like the ones on the other islands makes it all look really empty in comparison. There's only a few platforming sections (mostly rails) between the towers to get you from one tower to the next faster, and that's pretty much it.
It really feels like there was meant to be much more going on with that area, yet the only thing you do is go from tower to tower, have a bit of plot happen, and immediately move on to Ouranos. You aren't made to explore at all despite the ruins and such scattered about and the very important plot stuff happening. That combined with how the whole thing with Sonic's cyber corruption was resolved makes that whole section of the game feel rushed.
I just can't help but wonder what could've been, had Sonic Team not been under time constraints. It's kind of sad honestly, knowing that there could've been more planned for that area that we never got to see because of the deadlines they had to meet.
Man fuck crunch culture fuck holiday releases I want my game out when it's done dammit
