Yeah, I do have some thoughts. I assume you mean what has been going on at Magnate, right? I've been observing what has been happening for the past few days and all the opinions surrounding it.

Given the situation and the event that took place, I don't find it surprising that the cafe turned into a tourist attraction. Just as the mural. It was due to circumstances. Not that fans haven't visited Magnate before, but they went there simply as fans/customers and it was a stop in their itinerary. Mostly low-key and people filmed inside, took photos, without any of it being turned into a big deal. But given the current situation, with a large influx of people coming to Busan for a weekend, it was bound to happen. I saw Jimin's dad and other employees being hands on outside, offering water and other refreshments for those who had to stand there for hours. Does it make sense for me why people flocked to a cafe owned by a member's dad? Perhaps not. But I guess they saw it as just a really close connection to Jimin.

What I didn't like and found it odd to say the least, was some of the behavior exhibited there. I can look past going there straight from the airport to stand in line (after getting off a flight, I would head straight to the hotel to settle and freshen up, but that's me), but it turned into a mob which was crazy to see. It was like army were in the presence of the Mesia's father and they had to touch the man himself, as if some of those genes would rub off on them. It reminded me of Life of Brian. The man is not a public figure, he was just there managing his business and running the cafe and I think he did a good job taking care of everyone. It was obvious he was grateful for everyone and happy that all those people were there because of the direct association with Jimin. I would be proud myself if Jimin was my son. I'd gloat to everyone and their mother until they wouldn't stand me anymore.

As to criticisms regarding Jimin's father and Magnate, I can't take them seriously because I know they come from a place of hatred in regard to Jimin, as it's obvious in the way they phrase it. They say the man was profitting off from the Busan event and the fans being there. What was he supposed to do? Close it for the entire duration? When one of the purposes is that tourism can help local businesses as well and how this is a great opportunity? I bet all of Busan's restaurants/cafes gained a lot, but Jimin's father is to blame for doing what any normal owner would do. And there would have been no point in staying hidden and not show his face. He was working and taking orders at Magnate even before this. People knew who he was. I think he handled everything really well. Yeah, I do think it's odd to ask the man to hug the fans or to sign their Jimin photocards, but he did it. Because he knew why all those people were there. The man is proud of his son and he should be. Nothing that he did ever shown any sign that he's taking advantage of anything.

VLOG BUSAN MAGNATE CAFÈ JIMIN

The jikook late night meal part of the documentary inside Jimin's apartment was filmed on March 13, 2022 following the last PTD Seoul concert.

Almost 2 yrs later, his furniture (dining room table and his living room table) were spotted at Magnate in Busan.

Point 1: not surprised, considering that actress instagram acct. But I believe she is irrelevant in Jm's eyes, and this furniture clearance is part of a bigger plan.

There is simply no reason for jm to share his apartment after being so private all of these years. On his last live his place looked ready for a new change, a move or a new occupant.

I believe that privacy is still a very important aspect of park jimin, the South Korean man from Busan. As such, I believe he now has a secret hideout somewhere in SK, a place only his loved ones know about, a place where he can just be, a place where work doesn't intrude.

It was interesting that Brunnen was rented on April 1st, 2022, 2 weeks after this jikook meal. Was Jk the friend jm helped move? It would confirm that jk was renting in nineone around 2020-2021. Similarly, I do not think jk will return to Brunnen to live. He may use it for lives but this won't be his living quarters. He will revert to being private like jm. Jk owned apartments in Trimage and Youngsan City Park, and we never saw any pictures of how he lived. I think it will be the same for his mansion. He will move into it in May 2024, and we won't get a tour or a live from there.

So we are back to speculating... and I am not complaining. May they both find happiness, privacy and peace.

What is this obsession people have with Jimin? Unless one is aware is a members birthday no one could tell bcs it was all silent even in the fandom,Personally I forgot to celebrate JK's birthday this year until so late that I saw some posts from fans. But what I don't get is why this pjms spend so much money on birthday events everywhere in Korea is just about his birthday. That's an obsession and a weird one if you asked me. In short, I don’t feel that it’s unhealthy to be personally attached to an artist or celebrity, and it can improve your life in several ways! In the same way that we’re fond of our favorite book or television characters, we can enjoy what celebrities offer us while remaining cognizant that the relationship is one-way and that it’s important not to invest too much time and energy into what is ultimately not a mutual bond.  

Additionally, remembering that celebrities are human as well is just as crucial. Idolizing them is incorrect, and it’s important to remember that they don’t have all the answers to your problems. Therefore, for the time that you spend interacting with a celebrity, try to spend a similar duration in your real-life relationships and participating in other activities that you enjoy. Jimin is one member of bts that's fans idolize the most! I never seen such obsession with other fans so why jimin? Why treat jimin like he's some god? People idolize Jimin so much to the point that it gets scary! Jimin is an amazing human,a talented sexy and pretty man,and so successful at his young age. He wouldn't be happy seeing how people idolize him.the obsession people have with him is unhealthy!

According to kmedia, in August 2023, Jimin donated 5M won to Namgu, Busan, where Magnate Café is also located. KBS reported donations would be used to promote the welfare of its residents and communities.

In 2023 alone, Jimin has quietly donated to various charities and it becomes public when charities thank him for his donations.

Sorry, that is a CONFIDENT MAN OF NOT HETERO ORIENTATION. Jimin has also said many times that he and his parents - his dad in particular - are very close. The Parks have often displayed Jungkook's items and photos alongside Jimin's at Magnate. Surely they're AWARE of the Jikook ship, right? If they had an issue maybe they'd... separate the hats?

Guess not. And while I'm on the subject I have never known a father of a straight man to send his straight son flowers as a birthday gift. I'm sure it's done but I have never witnessed it. I have, however, seen dads send their GAY sons flowers. And to have them delivered by the MAKNAE? The youngest, fidgetiest of BTS? That's weird.

It also made Jungkook nervous. Because that was much more significant a gesture on Dad Park's part than some people realize, I think. And Koo did NOT want to screw it up. I MEAN... Why not Namjoon? Just booked tickets to the Korea Art London Event. Thirty three Korean artists with contrasting styles, amongst them Lee K who often includes Jimin in his paintings.

When he exhibited at the Lourve last September, his Jimin painting was very popular.
