Cybertronian Units of Time: a Guide
...concocted by me, via:
Canon Definitions
Most Common Terms Used in Fandom (that I have seen)
Most Common Interpretations of Aforementioned Terms
Math That Makes Those Terms Make Sense Together
Filling in the Blanks With What Sounded Good (to me)
So essentially I began with Cybertronian units with explicit definitions in canon that are also widely used in fandom (ie. Vorn = 83 years, Joor = 6 hours, Groon = 1 hour). I then worked my way out from those and tried to keep to rough factors of 6/8/10.
Some terms that did have explicit canon definitions had to be slightly skewed from their value (ie. Breem: 8 → 6 minutes, Klik: 8 → 6 seconds) if their definition contradicted another definition that made more sense/fit better.
At any rate, obviously no one is obligated to use this standard, but canon Transformers content has been unfortunately... awful at establishing any universal units of time, their relationship to each other, or their equivalents to human units of time.
So this occasionally makes fanfiction an absolute nightmare for people like me with a crap memory who don’t want to constantly have to scroll through a thousand pages of the wiki to remind themselves what the hell a groon is.
So, naturally, I simply spent far too long whipping up this at-a-glance guide to keep track of it & on the off chance that the fandom might adopt it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
(PLEASE REBLOG THIS IF YOU LIKE IT SO THAT MORE FANS CAN SEE IT!)

does a line of Dark Energon with crack mixed in
In the hypothetical AU where Primus told Prima to be nice to all his siblings before going to binge watch all the good Transformers cartoons dormant, the power of the Butterfly Effect triggers a chain of events that lead to Prima & the OG Predaking to become Conjux Endura.
Cue Nexus laughing his afts off, Liege Maximo Error 404ing, & Vector drinking himself into a coma at what will become Maccadam's with how weird things are going to be in the future.
(Tone: Crack treated Semi-Seriously. Enemies to Lovers. Cultural Differences. Fix-it-of-sorts. Minor Fourth Wall Breaking (thanks, Thirteen))
Yo, this is wild.
Look, I would find it hilarious by sheer random chance... Prima went to woo Predaking just to prove a point to Megatronus that he has a life as well. That Prima can absolutely "be in the moment." And could totally function without him. No, he can't. He needs someone.
Liege Maximo is that one that's laughing himself sick because of the epic stories this would inspire... all because Prima is too jealous of Megatronus spending time away from him and his vision for the future. Yes, he has his Guiding Hand, but he wants his shadow-twin dammit.
And if Prima can't have Megatronus to himself, then he'll take the talking dragon that flies through the massive lightning storms.
Prima has siblings questioning his wooing skills, his taste in partners, if this is even an attempt of romance or another way to bring the Wild lands to heel, or if he's breaking under his own perfectionist tendencies.
They're making bets on whether or not they do fuck, how they do it, and if Prima has it in him to "lower his inhibitions" because he's such a stick-in-the-mud.

Transformers: Primacy #1
Read Date: May 19, 2023 Cover Date: August 2014 ● Story: Chris Metzen ◦ Flint Dille ● Art: Livio Ramondelli ● Letterer: Chris Mowry ● Editor: John Barber ●
Tumblr media
**HERE BE SPOILERS: Skip ahead to the fan art/podcast to avoid spoilers
Reactions As I Read: ● the IDW Transformers art is consistently stunning ● the mirroring of politics in the real world—10 years after this issue came out—is both haunting and depressing ● Optimus heading toward a Fortress of Solitude
Tumblr media
● poor Hot Rod ● I never get tired of the sense of awe the artists are able to instill at the sheer size of some of these things. first Trypticon. now an Omega Sentinel ● 👏👏👏👏👏
Synopsis: In the aftermath of Trypticon's rampage, Cybertron is experiencing a lull in the burgeoning Autobot-Decepticon war. At Maccadam's Old Oil House, Hot Rod, fresh out of the Autobot Academy, tries and fails to convince an acquaintance that Optimus Prime and his government aren't just as bad as what came before. Leaving the bar, the freshly-minted Autobot encounters an old friend – Slinger, his co-conspirator from his days as an insurgent in Nyon. Hot Rod's old friend has never forgiven him for killing that city's inhabitants to prevent them being drained by the vamparc ribbons, and has joined up with the Decepticons. Declaring that his new comrades are the "real power" on Cybertron, Slinger leaves his former ally with a warning to watch his back.
In Cybertron's southern polar region, Optimus Prime and Ironhide scale the Grav-Haraan glacier, the Autobot leader having taken a sabbatical to clear his mind after the recent battle. Ironhide nearly slips from the icy cliff, but eventually the duo reach its summit. Against the odds, though, they are not alone – on the horizon, Ironhide spies a large object with a significant energon signature.
In Metroplex, deep in the heart of Iacon, Kup and Ultra Magnus anxiously await the completion of Ratchet's operation upon Grimlock. Arriving late, Hot Rod learns that Grimlock was the last of the Dynobots to receive this treatment, purging him of the tainted energon that brought on his atavistic alternate mode. Emerging from the operating theater, Ratchet gives Grimlock a clean bill of health, and reveals that he's managed to restore the Dynobots' original alternate modes, bringing them up to the same fighting shape they were in when they served in the Primal Vanguard. Upon meeting him, Hot Rod voices his admiration towards the Dynobots, knowing of them from tales of the Primal Vanguard's glory days. Grimlock rebukes him, saying that a recruit fresh from the academy will have to earn his respect, or even simply his trust.
In the ruins of Harmonex, a fully repaired Megatron waxes loquacious over the inert form of Trypticon. Calling upon the stolen spark of Pentius that they have each borne in turn, Megatron manages to rouse the gargantuan beast, only to find that it now bears the consciousness of the slain Quintesson. However he finds that his former guide has found new purpose within this engine of destruction, a purpose he shares with Megatron: the breaking of a world.
Traversing the glacier, Optimus and Ironhide approach a monolithic structure, only to find it to be the source of the energon signature they'd detected. As they near the structure they find it to be the watchful form of an Omega Sentinel.
Megatron is skeptical of Trypticon, knowing the treachery Pentius was capable of. Trypticon confesses that his memories are a confusing tangle, of which he is uncertain of the source. However through the spark bond that they share, Trypticon shows Megatron what he recalls: Cybertron, desolate after a "battle of gods"; another world, broken asunder; the Quintessons, and the death and destruction they have wrought on others. This overwhelms the revolutionary, for while his ruthlessness is known, the sheer depths of such evil are not something he can stand. Trypticon assures him that he will understand in time.
Hailing the Omega Sentinel, Optimus discovers that it has stood vigil since the disappearance of Nova Prime. The Sentinel turns Optimus and Ironhide away, saying he awaits the return of the Prime. Optimus reveals that he bears the Matrix, and the Sentinel reacts with disbelief and despair when he learns that Nova is long gone. Regardless, he is prepared to serve this young Prime, and ferry him back to civilization. As the Autobots board his alternate mode, the Sentinel reveals his name to them: Omega Supreme.
Back in Harmonex, Megatron musters the Decepticons around Trypticon. He announces to them that he wishes to prepare for an all-out assault, but due to Scorponok many abandoned the Decepticon cause. He says that they will be leaving Cybertron with Trypticon in order to re-gather the Decepticon army.
Aboard Sky Linx, Hot Rod marvels at the rebuilt Toraxxis mega-refinery, now drawing directly from the cavernous reserves of the region and purifying the tainted energon. Cybertron's energon shortage seems to be solved for the foreseeable future, but this may be too little, too late after the exodus of much of the population. Grimlock doesn't share the young recruit's enthusiasm, as being near Toraxxis dredges up too many bad memories for him. Hot Rod pushes back against the veteran, incensed that Grimlock is this self-absorbed. A scuffle nearly ensues, before Sky Linx announces that they've passed Toraxxis and now are over Harmonex. To the astonishment of all, Trypticon is missing.
In orbit above Cybertron, Trypticon's alternate mode is revealed as a massive space-borne fortress. Within, Shockwave reports to Megatron that his navigational preparations are complete, and the Decepticons take to the stars.

Another ask dump
y'all like talking to me and i appreciate it, have some answers, feat. voices of the Matrix, accidental references, photonic crystals, Underbite, types of relics, robot scuba gear, and pineapple pizza
Tumblr media
(the post this is referring to)
FHFHGFHSJF an unintentional reference but i'll take it!
Tumblr media
(the post this is referring to)
oh huh, yet another unintentional reference, totally forgot about that. there is cyberflora up in the city proper too, i realize i didn't phrase that well. but the stuff that junkers would be able to scavenge from would be the leylines, the wellsprings, the cyberflora growing in odd deep places where no one else has noticed them.
Tumblr media
fshfshhsgdf thank you, he IS adorable! i even gave him a little schoolboy tie
you've found a neat little oddity here, actually, which is that it isn't Optimus who hears the former Matrix bearers, it's Orion! when he powers up into Optimus, he essentially absorbs-becomes-assimilates his relic, like shrugging on a selkie skin and becoming more than the sum of both parts. the former Matrix bearers are an aspect of what goes into creating Optimus, but it isn't exactly distinct, not ghosts or voices or guiding hands to direct his actions. no, it's Orion the youngling who hears them speak, or heckle really, gets a sense of who they are/were and what they want and feel and urge him to do. the Matrix is, fortunately, not a very autonomous relic, unlike some other ones with annoyingly strong, uh, personalities. it's not difficult to tune them out if he doesn't want to listen, but it can get irritating when he's trying to pay attention in class.
there are rare exceptions, however, occasions where Optimus encounters what lives within the depths of his relic...
Tumblr media
not really, yeah. they EXIST, they're a form of information storage for Cybertronian neural networks and spark scans, as well as being integral material in medical life support systems and hotspot harvesting infrastructure. it's not the Matrix that produces them, however, and there isn't anything particularly supernatural about them. they're in the same general category of resources as sentio metallico, innermost, and rarified or super energon.
Tumblr media
nope! that is definitely in the realm of "special talents"/outlier abilities that don't show up naturally in SNAP's storyline. at least, for the normal people. those with relics have plenty of weird abilities, and if Underbite was supernatural, that kind of power would practically be tame in comparison to some of the stuff the heroes do.
that said, there are some random one-off things people can do, just because sparks and thus frames have unique coding with sometimes unpredictable results. Swerve, for instance, discovers in Maccadam's class that he can identify different chemical compounds and materials by taste, with far more accuracy and nuance than the average mech. just a random thing! but hardly supernatural, which is def what increased strength and healing would be.
but perhaps... if things were different... Underbite would have that ability naturally? (side note but can you imagine trying to wrangle an ENTIRE ACADEMY of TEENAGERS with inbuilt abilities like eating anything or forcefields or freakin invisibility like. someone would die on day one just from a hallway fight.)
Tumblr media
(the post this is referring to)
i mention it just a little bit here! the difference is more of a meta category than an in-universe term. in short, major relics are major pieces of power consolidated into a usable form, a relic, that will create such a strong bond with the user that they get an entire array of upgrades and powers, with the downside of being totally beholden to this one major relic and incapable of using another major relic (unless you are a loadbearer). minor relics are smaller pieces of power consolidated into a usable form, creating a less all-consuming bond with their users which means a very small set of minor powers and little to no upgrades, but capable of being used alongside other relics, even major ones.
the swords of the Elite Guard, for example, are all minor relics that came linked inside the major relic of the Enigma of Combination. the distinction between major and minor is a little more blurry than that, and some relics are right in the middling area of power that means they might behave as if in either category.
people in-universe don't really have this distinction aside from the mythology and tall tales about the magical tools wielded by the Knights of Cybertron. the Star Saber, for example, is so famous and well recorded that it's actually found a place as a name, like Star Saber the Academy teacher!
Tumblr media
(the post this is referring to)
yknow what, you're right! there's definitely some sort of insertable/wearable seals. they wouldn't be permanent, and they'd certainly be bulky and uncomfortable, and some may actually require a medic to insert. they'd get in the way of ventilation, cramp joints, and rub against important lines and protoform. just sticking things into seams and under armor is actually incredibly uncomfortable to the point of triggering something called entrapment protocols, a panicked paralyzed state that can be debilitating if the physical intrusion causing it isn't removed.
because of how diverse and unique frames are, there's no standard seals, and some frames just have too much open space to actually seal, making swimming impossible. so, it comes down to 1) is your frame capable of being sealed, 2) is the discomfort worth it, and 3) can you actually get the seals put in place and removed afterward.
not so easy as putting on a bathing suit, huh.
as for murder via water, yeah! that's definitely a thing, that murderers do! but combat... there's not really combat, not like i believe you're thinking of. there's no war going on, there's no standing army so no drills or training, in fact combat and violence and weaponry in general are very much frowned upon under functionism. i'll quote the relevant part of that post here:
in stark contrast with the severe consequences the state carries out against those it deems wrong, society as a whole is kept very docile. Cybertron is a unified territory, so all of its citizens answer to the government of the Grand Architect. There is no standing army, nor indeed really any army at all, aside from the Enforcers. Violence is frowned upon, to the point where the most violent activity still tolerated is sports like boxing, and even that is considered barbaric. There is no weaponry, especially since mecha aren’t forged with inbuilt weaponry. Enforcers carry state-owned equipment with occasional access to genuine weaponry if facing a bigger target, but those are closely monitored to remain in their stations once their shift is over. Personal use is completely forbidden. More violent or pugilistic folks end up Enforcers, perpetuating the brutality and heavy control of the corps over the populace.
and as for Octopunch, not a clue! i don't remember him, and i don't have him on my character list, so while he might end up as a random background filler cameo, i don't have anything for him right now
Tumblr media
afsgsjdjshwoisegf WHAT A QUESTION
Makeshift. Makeshift would adore pineapple pizza. Frenzy would like it, Rumble would HATE it. Predaking would tolerate it and Blackarachnia would pick off the pineapple but still eat the pizza.
Starscream would refuse to touch any pizza with pineapple on it, and Skywarp would eat some just to annoy him, even though he's not a particular fan of it. Thundercracker doesn't really care either way. Megatron likes it okay but avoids it so Starscream doesn't make a giant fuss about it. Blitzwing is disgusted but doesn't make a show of it. Nightracer will eat anything she can get her hands on, good or not, but she picks off the pineapple because Red Alert likes pineapple, and she wants to give them to her.
Ariel likes strawberry pizza better. Moonracer likes chocolate pizza better. Firestar thinks the both of them are heathens and won't eat pineapple pizza. Chromia doesn't like pineapple anyway. Arcee eats it just for the Experience.
Minimus doesn't personally care for it but maintains that anybody can eat whatever they'd like. Windblade doesn't like it and will publicly decry it. The two of them have probably debated over this a few times. Orion doesn't mind it and doesn't have any opinion about it, and is mostly baffled by the arguments over it. Hot Rod is a living vacuum and will c o n s u m e regardless of pineapple or not. Deadlock likes to gross anti-pineapple people out by messily eating it in front of them. Blurr doesn't like pizza very much, it's the tomato sauce.

AU Stuff
RE: previous post, does this mean that the others are reincarnations of their Guiding Hand gods?
TL;DR - Yes and No.
Censere is the other reincarnation. And his title is “The Necrobot”. He is like a dual class druid/necromancer. Although the necromancer ability is more when he has permission from Mortilus himself to reanimate people. Unlike the other reincarnations (which is a misnomer), he’s the only one most attuned with the deity whom he has channeled since birth that his thoughts and Mortilus’ thoughts are almost in-sync with each other.
The Magnificence is an object in this AU. It’s a conduit where Epistemus talks through. Currently, it is under Scorponok’s possession and doesn’t hesitate to tell Scorponok that he has a shit taste in mechs.
Tyrest is another reincarnation. Unlike all the other ones, he’s the most blatantly obvious one (his whole life has gone according to the prophecy and Solomus’ symbol is imprinted on his head) but also, the least attuned with his deity. He denies he is Solomus but then, one of Solomus’ traits is his humility.
Rung is just a random mech, who’s Maccadam’s only son. So he’d practically be the reincarnation of Alchemist Prime (Maccadam) but since Alchemist Prime is still alive, Rung is simply his heir and immune to the space/time continuum.
Primus is...whatever the Marvel comics said. ;)

More than Meets the Eye, beginner’s guide / resources
This guide is long. Use the headings to find the information you need & if you’ve got resources this post lacks send them along!
Tumblr media
Has anyone pitched the comic More than Meets the Eye to you yet? It’s a very gay action-adventure comedic drama with robots and you would probably love it (especially if you’re lgbt and/or have good taste). Here’s a few posts/articles that will tell you why you’d love it:
This article review/retrospective was what got me to read MTMTE. (warning - it has a bunch of spoilers, that didn’t bother me but might bother you)
My semi-jokey MTMTE sales pitch
@zzxid’s salespitch with dancing rats
This full entire page of radical space socialist philosophy
15 Reasons Why MTMTE/the sequel is The Best Transformers Comic (warning - has spoilers, though some will prob go over your head as a new reader)
Kiss me, Chromedome - retrospective article by The Guardian, contains some spoilers
Tumblr media
How/Where to Read
Okay, maybe you’re convinced. Now you want to know how/where to read MTMTE. Got you covered:
Detailed guide by @gaymilesedgeworth: How to start reading Transformers Comics
My very short answer: just read MTMTE in trade paperback form. That way all the issues are in order and you get all the extra stuff (there are prose stories after a couple issues that are very important so don’t skip them!) They’re available that way as both physical and digital books.
Here’s some ways to get access, legally (US centric, sorry):
If your local library has Hoopla (digital library subscription service), you may have access to some of the MTMTE trades that way. They’d be here; but check if you library has Hoopla first.
Your local library very well might have physical copies, so check their website!
If not and you’re very patient you can often request inter-library loans (your library borrows the books from another library) or request your library purchase materials.
You can buy digital trades via either IDW or Comixology. Comixology also includes the first 5 volumes in their comics subscription service. I’ve seen the series go on sale on both of these sites at least 4 times in the past 6 months, so keep an eye out! (Sometimes IDW participates in humble bundles, which are great, but those sales are far more infrequent)
You can also buy them in trade form from wherever you can buy books/comics. US links: Amazon, B&N, Comic Store Locators
Tumblr media
Character Guides
So you’ve picked up this comic and oh boy there are a lot of robots. You’re a little intimidated. Maybe you’re having a hard time telling them apart.
If you have the paperback, there’s a guide to the characters on the back cover/the last page of the digital volume. See a copy here.
It’s okay if you keep reading not knowing who these robots are. For real. You’ll get the hang of it. Don’t worry if it takes you awhile and you’re confused. Everyone’s a little lost the first time through.
Some helpful posts in case you’re struggling:
Here’s a guide that matches appearance -> name, and one that matches name -> background info (both spoiler free for issues 1-22)
A visual guide by @squireofgeekdom and @kscinewt: here
Another helpful visual character guide by @bluering8: here
If you’re confused and need help, please ask! I’m willing to answer questions, I know @gaymilesedgeworth has volunteered to answer new reader questions. (Willing to help out new readers? Lemme know and I’ll make this a list)
Tumblr media
Lore & Background Info
Okay, so maybe now you’ve gotten into it. You want more information, you want to know all the background lore, you want to dig deep. Awesome! Got you covered!
The holy grail of Transformers information, TFwiki. A slightly snarky, overly-minutely-detailed wiki for the digital age.
They’ve also got a tumblr if you’ve got questions.
And Chris McFeely, one of the main editors, runs a Youtube series called The Basics where he explains characters/concepts across continuities
The podcast Sound.wav has episodes talking about every issue of MTMTE in great detail.
The writer of More than Meets the Eye, James Roberts, answers fan questions on his twitter. I’ve archived a lot of those questions at @jrtweetsindex.
More than Meets the Eye has a soundtrack, because of course it does. People have made playlists collecting it on spotify and youtube.
Tumblr media
Further Reading
I finished MTMTE, what’s next?
If you want the direct sequel to MTMTE, go straight to Lost Light, the sequel series. It’s still ongoing and (as of right now) 12 issues have been released. There are spoilers for it EVERYWHERE on Tumblr, fair warning.
There are also a bunch of other series within the IDW comics universe, depending on what you’re interested in.
@zandergb has a chronological listing of all the IDW comics
TFwiki summarizes the IDW comics line
alt chronological guide
another guide/reading order.
You don’t have to read all the books! If you want to just read Lost Light/MTMTE, you can do just that.
There’s also a bunch of animated series, which don’t exist in the same continuity as the IDW comics. Some of them are well liked.
@ponett has a guide that’ll help you decide which you’d enjoy
And here’s a brief guide by TFWiki
There’s also the Michael Bay movies which are awful and so is he. Not gonna recommend watching them, but if you wanted to learn about film theory by listening to Lindsay Ellis dissect them, there’s a youtube series for that.
Tumblr media
Fan Stuff
Okay...but what about fan content and fanfic and art and community events?
First thing to know: Transformers content is posted on tumblr under the tag Maccadam. (more detailed explanation why) A lot of mtmte content is also under ‘mtmte’, so look there too. I only use Maccadam if I think a post deserves to be seen by a lot of people but opinions vary.
Second thing to know - the sequel to MTMTE, Lost Light is still being published and you will see ALL SORTS OF SPOILERS for it on Tumblr. To mitigate the damage, try blocking “LL Spoilers” “Lost Light Spoilers” and “Wednesday Spoilers”. You cannot avoid it all, so if you don’t want anything spoiled, get caught up on both MTMTE and Lost Light before browsing around Tumblr.
Fanfiction:
Warning! A lot of Transformers fanfiction is smut. Please take a moment to integrate this fact into your understanding of the universe. If you can handle that, go ahead to AO3.
If you’re curious about all the terminology used in those fics, here’s a guide to it (not every writer uses every word, but this will get you started)
If you’re not into the idea of robots having sex, here’s a link to AO3 with my personal best-effort safe-search (no guarantees, relies upon people tagging properly)
And here’s a blog dedicated to recommending good sfw transformers fanfiction
If you want to know more about Transformers fanfic, I did a whole statistical survey of it, cause I’m a dork.
Here’s an old-school Transformers-only fanfic archive (I don’t see a category for IDW comics but maybe you can find somehing)
Fanart&Fanfic Events/Zines/Gift Exchanges/Collaborative Projects:
As many active projects as I could find - I’ll try to keep this one updated
Fan Artists:
(same warning as the fanfic - there’s a goodly amount of transformers pornographic art, be aware of that and block ‘nsfw’ if necessary)
There are a ton of active fanartists who draw IDW Transformers art. If you search a bit under ‘Maccadam’ you’ll find them.
@iaconlibrary reblogs a great deal of fanart & is a great place to start browsing
Roleplay:
If you’re into roleplaying on tumblr @teletrans-comm-unit runs a master list of active rp blogs
Transformers: Lost and Found is a long-running independent game set on the Lost Light
TF:Galaxy appears to be a forum-based tf roleplay game
My Favorite Jokes:
The best amazon review
Emotional labor (nsfw-ish warning)
Bros with Vows
Hands
Conventions:
There are Transformers-specific conventions, which is pretty cool! I know nothing about them but tfwiki has some info: Official and Unofficial conventions.
Regrettable Opinions:
hey this is just a quick guide of things not to do so you don’t hurt other people in the community
Do not compare Megatron to Hitler. The comparison is both vapid and offensive, as Jewish members of this community have pointed out time and again.
Don’t say transphobic/homophobic/racist/antisemitic/sexist things. You’re better than that!
Don’t attack the creators of the books/harass them on social media/make bizarre unfounded accusations of them acting in bad faith
we’re really lucky that JRo and the other creators interact with us & answer questions and don’t you dare screw that up, I’m trusting you.
on a less serious but useful etiquette note: don’t tag creators into negative reviews of their work/people complaining about their work. It’s rude to the creator & the reviewer.
That was a short list but remember to also treat other people with respect & that it’s okay to disengage with content/people that upset you.
Fandom:
There’s a guide on Fanlore, but it’s freakishly outdated and doesn’t even mention the comics. If you’re a informed tf fan maybe you should update it. 😉
Tumblr!
MTMTE is a pretty small community on Tumblr, but there are a few cool folks. Remember, ‘maccadam’ and ‘mtmte’ are your tags of choice
Various websites!
Since the transformers fandom is super old, there are a bunch of dedicated websites with traditional forums to chat on. (most of these are news sites that also contain forums) idk anything about them but maybe forums are your thing:
TFW2005 - big site with a large community but be warned there appear to be more than a few alarmingly bigoted people on that site
TFormers
Cybertron.CA
Allspark.com
Seibertron
I’m gonna throw the IDW TF reddit on this list rather than make a new section
Discord!
there’s at least two active discords at the moment. I know nothing about them or discord, but maybe one of them would be to your liking:
#1 - run by @zzxid
#2 - run by ??
The community is, like all fan communities, is a mix of good and bad, awkward and friendly, opinionated and goofy, self-serious and offensive. You won’t like or agree with everyone and there are some folks you should probably block.
Just find some people who share your general outlook & are interacting with the books in the same way you want to 💕
-Lynn. I have no qualifications to write this guide, I am not an authority of anything. I just really want you to love these books. Last updated on Dec 24, 2017, click through to check for any updates.

3. Summarize your character’s backstory with no more than three sentences.
Flux: He lubs Primus. No-one believes. He gon’ change that.
Buzzbite: Idiot likes cash. Does dumb things for cash. Becomes Autobot because he got caught doing dumb things for cash.
Coil: Sad boy gets sacked because Anxiety™. His frens and city perishes. Sad boy seeks career opportunities around killing Bad Guys™.
7. Who is your character’s best friend?
Flux: Back on Kaon when he had a big role in the religious community, one of his fellow ministers named Tarpit played a guiding role as his mentor. Tar was very apprehensive of Flux at first; put off by his overly-traditional ways, and wanting him to expand his mind. But, as their relationship blossomed, she grew fonder and fonder of his decisions. Rumours have stated that she once labeled him as ‘wise’ (not that she would care to quell the whispers). They still keep in touch often - Buzzbite always making suggestive comments about the two when they have conversations. He hopes to one day visit her.
Buzzbite: Before his introduction to the Autobots, Buzzbite had no friends to speak of. All his stratagems were enacted independently with no outside help. Plans that were placed with the assistance of other bots were taken to his advantage, Buzzbite stealing their portion of the profits. But... then he met Coil. Things started off rocky, Buzzbite flaming arguments between the two of them. But soon, a deep friendship was formed as they bonded over their ‘troublesome’ pasts. Buzz came to a realization after a particularly exhausting night; “he... cares about me”. As such cliches dictate, they became sparkmates after a year. Buzzbite - he learned to trust someone.
Coil: None of his miner coworkers really spoke much to him. He did, however, meet a mech during his stint at Maccadam’s. Afterburner was a confidant of Coil’s that he met after the former approached him during a particularly sad day. Afterburner soon became a close friend, the two spending days together drinking and even pursuing other interests like reading. Unfortunately, he hasn’t seen ‘Burner since the decimation of Tarn. In fact, a verdict hasn’t been reached on whether he’s dead or alive. Coil holds out a hope that he’ll find them again one day.
10. What is the most badass thing this character has done?
Flux: This. Fragging. Slagger. Buzz and Coil went to do recon on a planet they discovered, leaving the doc alone on the ship. Things were suspiciously quiet for a planet with such forest density.
The door was knocked down.
Two insecticons, foaming at the mouth, barged their way in. Frightened, he sliced the two in half with his medical saw despite not having any formal battle training. He has a snapshot of Buzz and Coil’s priceless reactions framed in his habsuite.
Buzzbite: He once yeeted threw an E.M.P into a rogue crowd of ‘cons from many yards away, temporarily disabling the lot of them. Flux later reprimanded him about his hasty actions.
Coil: This kid. He annihilated fifty sepearate cons with his machine gun while he was taking heavy fire himself. He was stuck in Flux’s care for almost a deca-cycle, but he deemed it as worth it. His two comrades still make sure he limits his rashness.
18. What is the character’s favorite Pokémon?
Flux: He’s taken an odd liking to Slurpuff.
Buzzbite: Scyther, because they’re awesome like him!
Coil: The amount of times he has wished for a Chespin eclipses even the most hardcore of fans.
