Unfortunately it's just gays doing their most again. They have a pretty great friendship in season 4, with a bit of queer undertone, but, unfortunately, the straight writer room for the series is letting us down. The pairing was the #1 of the wlw ships for ao3 this year, and in the top 5 for all ships, so there is that. Sorry to get your hopes up.

honestly i'm a multishipper, and i mostly just watch the show for fun! i dont really engage in ship wars, and i can see the appeal of pretty much any ship ive seen, honestly!

i think the ships im rooting for to be canon right now would be ricky/jet (do they have a ship name yet? idk) and portwell. I am a fan of rina though (i shipped it really hard in like season 2, i think? but then ricky got back with nini and i was like whelp). with the way the season seems to be going, im not against the idea of them. i really like the idea of ashlyn and maddox, but i dont want poor big red to get his heart broken, haha. im really hoping big red and seb come back next season (because i love seblos too). i was also a big fan of the teachers (mr mazzara and ms jenn) and im really mad they're not bigger players this season!!

I love when I'm reading fanfic and the cutest thing happens and I actually have to pause to shove my face in a pillow and kick my feet for half a minute. I get overwhelmed very easily, I love that with fanfics I'm free to pause and stim at any moment
