favorite albums?

american beauty/american psycho by fall out boy

this is the first album that came to mind that i have a memory of actively going to listen to the entire thing in order. i remember playing minecraft and listening to centuries on repeat when it came out. novocaine from it is one of my all time favorite songs.

things to ruin by joe iconis

this came out in 2010 and i discovered it in 2019. really so many songs from this album are absolute bangers. even the ones that i don’t “like”/agree with has such strong and vibrant character. i love the way joe describes it as ABSOLUTELY NOT a song cycle and he’s right. it’s Something else. there’s character without there being a book. listening/watching videos from the production you feel like you experienced some sort of a Theatrical Event. also the song never heard nothing is off this album which might be one of my favorite joe songs ever. off this album i specifically love i was born this morning (the cicada song), good for you, son of a gun, honey, the bar song, and never heard nothing. some of my favorite lyrics from this album include:
