some of you are the most antisemitic, sexist, racist pieces of shit i have ever had the displeasure of witnessing

the amount of twelve year olds in this fandom is so uncomfortable

shippers. some of you are the most toxic fucking people i’ve ever encountered. and i can tell that most of them are like-thirteen. because there’s no way an eighteen year old throws a tantrum over fucking kyman of all things. I know this isn’t all shippers but it’s enough of them that it’s altered my perception on all shippers which isn’t fair to shippers who haven’t done shit.

some of the artists are either just so fucking elitist or they make thirst trap art of cartman

you’ll harass cosplayers for no fucking reason because they “DoNt LoOk tHe ParT D:” like let them have fun. they’re not hurting anyone. they’re literally just having fun. you’ll really go after a cosplayer and tell them to “lose weight” or “they can’t play the part because of xyz” but you make cartman skinny and whitewash tolkien. you have no right to tell someone they can’t cosplay a fucking character when you let half this fanon shit go down.

yall are somehow jesus himself with the disabilities you’re able to cure with jimmy and timmy who are suddenly able to walk and talk just fine

this fandom is so fucking problematic and i hate it.

Question (not writing)

So, I have to ask some questions of which the answers may seem obvious to everyone, but which I think I have been confused about the past several years. Oops.

I'm trying to revamp my requests post and think more about how I write, so if anyone has any thoughts or answers, I would deeply appreciate some clarifications and help!!

According to many sources like Fanlore, an imagine is a short fanfic or descriptive passage.

Most imagines blogs seem to write with short paragraphs and/or bullet points. So, what is it I've been writing the past couple years?? Because it seems like they're just one-shots and not imagines. That is, aside from my headcanons, which have been in bullet points.

Is this why I take so long to write "imagines?" Because I write full on one-shots instead of imagines?

Also, feel free to be honest with me, I don't mind at all (as long as you're not telling me I'm stupid or something ;o;)!

I'm thinking about just changing my writing so I actually write imagines for requests and not one-shots, especially those with multiple characters. Does that sound reasonable to whoever sees this post, if anyone sees this??

(Edit: I checked and it looks like sometimes I write imagines with bullet points? Wtheck. Does this just mean I'm inconsistent af?)

Also, this doesn't mean I'll never write one-shots again, but that I wouldn't do it as much for requests unless someone requested it that way!

Checking In

Hey guys, Lux here. I'm still alive and here. I have manic depression and for the past several weeks I have been having horrendous mixed episodes, and the crashes have me so mentally and emotionally drained. It feels like I can't have a day to recover because it's been a constant emotional roller-coaster.

I have so many ideas in mind for everyone's requests, but it's so hard to get the motivation going. Once I sit down to write, it feels like all my ideas just fade away. I'm stuck staring at a screen and nowhere to go. I've tried medications for it, but due to other health issues, they have negative effects on my mental health. But I am trying to bounce back from these ups and downs; it's just really hard right now.

Once I can get my head back in the game, I will pick up on filling requests again. I don't want to half ass any requests. That's never been my style before and don't plan for it to be that.

On an unrelated note, I bought my first ever VIP ticket for a concert! I'm going to a show called Rockin' the Sound. The lineup is absolutely amazing. I'm really excited to see Nonpoint and Gemini Syndrome again. And back in December for Christmas I surprised my parents with tickets to come see Metallica with me in August.

I don’t have the strength to do more... after months of not drawing digitally, doing this piece kinda fucked me up, so I am taking a day before posting on all the other platforms. What sucks about having multiple platforms for your art is that you have to make posts on all of them and take care of all of them, and it is kind of annoying, if not an issue straight up. I wanted to write and maybe finish that godforsaken fic I started months ago but my hand is trembling and I am done for the day. I thought I should speak and post more on here, considering that I should grow this blog a bit more...
