One of my friends has a depop and I used to help her take pics & in my experience the fact that sooo many ppl worry more about the aes than actually showing the products is a matter of advertisment in the sense that by taking aes pics they hope to get reposted by others (and hopefully credited too) which basically means ppl do your advertisment for you & for free Also youre no just selling the product but the Feeling of it (so your 1st theory)
