..y en un ESPEJO en forma de CORAZON donde se reflejaba la tienda BEAUTY REPUBLIK

"Leelo!" I murmur as a stream of sunlight filters in through the curtains and meets my face. I squint. "Get up, Anyra! Not wanna be late", Leelo says in her broken English. She was originally from Ecuador but her step dad was American. I frown. "Why?" I ask. There was nothing much important today- just my usual shift at the local cafe down the corner and then at the library during the evening's. Friday's were my favourite days as I only had one shift each-

"Your mind off or what? We bought tickets to concert! One Direction! Expensive they are. Don't you remember?" My heart gives a jolt. Right. I had spent all my salary money I hadn't already given to my parents on these tickets. One Direction was my life. My soul. My whole room was filled with their posters and I used to grow jealous whenever I saw posts of them clicking photos with fans. And now, I had a ticket. To see them. My phone beeps- it's a reminder. "AUDITION AT DOWNTOWN STUDIO. 5PM". My jaw drops. And I realise I had given my name for audition weeks before I bought the ticket and this was one of them where I actually was called to.

"What's wrong? Why a frown? You look like a child with old soul symptoms". Leelo asks and sits down beside me. Moments like these are when the fact that she is way more emotionally stable than me is clear. I sigh. "Firstly, no such symptoms exist", Leelo shrugs, "and second, I have my audition this evening. When we should be at the concert". Leelo's face drops. "But- but going to concert is your dream, mine no. Won't you go?" I look at the phone with the reminder still showing. 45 auditions in two years. Never being selected for one. I would probably have the same fate this time too. "No, I will be going. To the concert". I had made up my mind. I was going to meet them. My heart had a feeling it will all be good.
