I just closed an oblivion gate and when I got back to Cyrodiil, it was raining.

Can you imagine the kind of catharsis that the hok would feel from that? The hot wastes of Oblivion getting to them and when they finally pull the stone out, and Tamriel comes back to them and they feel the cool waters of rain? I bet they'd feel so alive.

every time i stay at my familys home i always sleep in my grandfather's study/library. the house is set up in the old style where bedrooms are both private and public spaces like there's beds in every room and all rooms are multipurpose, so his study is a small room with some bookshelves and a desk and two small beds but there's something about it that i love so much. it's quiet and dark but very peaceful. he died before i was born but i've always felt so close to him and he's been gone nearly 30 years but the room is almost unchanged so it feels like a haunting. but in a good way

I just watched stranizza d'amuri (fireworks, 2023), it's the story of two boys who fell in love during the summer of 1982 in Sicily. It's inspired by a real story and they don't get a happy ending.

I don't think I've ever had such a visceral reaction to a movie or at least in a long long time. Maybe is just because im sicilian and i just felt a deep connection to the ambiance and the "culture", but it felt as if Sicily and the slice of spacetime the movie takes place in were characters themselves, maybe even more than the actual characters.

It's so sweet and tender, and visually stunning, just like this island can be, but also so full of contradictions and ugliness, and its both represented in the land and in the people. I loved the movie and I recommend it, if you want to watch something beautiful, tender and very sad.
