My thoughts …. (Not that my opinion is particularly important around here ☺️) is that if we’re looking for both Buck and Eddie to get a satisfactory happy ending and I think we are - (I certainly hope we are!!!! because I love Eddie just as much as Buck and he should get to be happy too) then Buddie has to be the end goal.

It just has to be… because while Tommy is cute and lovely (and I very much want him to not to get his heart broken 💔 ) it’s not quite enough.

Eddie needs to find his happy ever after and for him that has to be Buck shaped, it always has been and while Buck is giddy with delight at this new experience with Tommy, Eddie is everything he’s never even realised he wanted and it’s only now that he’s going to be able to see what all his feelings over all this time have meant.

Because I think that consciously or not when Eddie said nothing would change Buck was relieved but for a second he was disappointed too.

So I for one am looking forward to the story unwinding and the potentially slow discovery that they love-love each other.

And meanwhile I’ll enjoy the ride (just like I expect Buck will with Tommy 😏)

It deals with God being in control of all things, when they happen and the exact end.
